For any of you who haven't noticed yet, each thread has a set of links at the bottom of the first post to direct you to the other threads for the RP. I've added in a link to the Mechanics thread, where I explain the basic mechanic for the game. I'll be further explaining game mechanics there whenever something shows up needing explanation, so I suggest watching the thread.

[Idea]

Well, the character I would prefer to play would be in the age range of 4-8, so considering what you've said so far, probably I would, given freedom to, make someone in the age of 7-8. The two ideas I currently have for justifying their presence in the group are the following:
1. The sibling idea you proposed, already contacted Damafaud who said she was ok with it. I can invite you to that PM if you'd like
2. My character could have started out basically stalking someone they really admire, gotten caught by the remaining friends and over time either naturally began approaching the group directly more and was naturally integrated or she would have tried learning their personal interests and used that to get closer to them

I would also shape the character's personality to fit whatever scenario happens to be the plan.

The age range, I'm going to have to say no to. 7-8 is too young to logically be a part of a group of friends that are all high school age and up for pretty much any reason.

I am fine with the sibling idea, but I will hard-cap that sibling idea at 13. If you need explaining on this, do ask, but in short it's just such a young age already to be a part of a high school friend group.

2. This is an outright no. Having a character become integrated through stalking is a no. A character already part of the friend group stalking one of the others whom they have a crush on? Might work. An 8 year old stalking an idol and then magically joining that idol's friend group? Big no. Way too young for being a stalker, for one, and two, a stalker would seldom be allowed to befriend whomever they're stalking as well as that person's friends.

If you want to try and reach a compromise on these ideas, you can go for it, but I'm mostly set on these decisions.

I wouldn't say it's that illogical, the lower age range is perfectly possible, because to be in their friend group, she would literally just need to be allowed to tag along with them... Which I think is perfectly reasonable if she's the sibling, and with the "stalker" idea, she isn't magically becoming a friend, she was a dedicated friendly person who worked her ass out into becoming part of a group.
Given the plot, I don't think that it would even make sense for the characters to have to be completely chummy friends or all on the same level.


But regardless, I understand this is a lost battle and that I'm not gonna be able to convince you. I won't lie, this bums me out a lot, but I will try to think about whether I have anything I might like to try or if it's better if I just take my leave here.

Sounds like a fair compromise. I'll take it, thank you very much for understanding! Don't worry about the disadvantage, narratively the tendency for loss is full of great opportunities XD

They do not have to have a relationship with any other character, really. I put that there for the people who want to do so, as I know plenty of people enjoy setting up preexisting relationships other than being friends.

Apologies that I've taken so long. The site update made for a busy time (and still makes for such). I'll be starting the RP off ASAP, meaning at the latest tomorrow; regardless of whether or not I or @r i ce have a character posted, seeing as I've kept you all waiting long enough. (Sorry PoiPoi, but I do have to start with or without you. Still will let you post a character after it starts though ^~^)

Seeing as a handful of people didn't respond in-character or to my DMs, we're either considering this dead or dropping those players entirely and gonna try and continue from where we've gotten. Or, alternatively, we could restart with just those who're planning to actually post and participate in the RP.
