Fantasy Murderer Roulette [OOC]

Uhm Kiyoko Tomoe Kiyoko Tomoe may I ask why that age restriction?
If you recall, in the interest check thread, there was a part where I said "It's a normal day. You wake up, get ready for school, attend your classes, and then go out for the evening with some friends." The group will be friend in high school, or perhaps a few whom are just starting college or about to start their adult life. Additionally, I want everyone to be in the same age group since, y'know, supposed to all be one group of friends.

If you're wanting to do something outside the age range, as long as it's not out of the realm of logic for them to be friends and acquainted with everyone else in the group (for instance, if one of them's the older/younger sibling of another player's character by a few years), then I'd be willing to give it a look. Not gonna 100% hard-cap it seeing as I'm already going to be setting a lot of no-exception in-RP rules down as we go along.

I see. I guess I completely misunderstood that part. I just took the "friends" part as a general depiction of every day life rather than a literal thing... though even considering that possibility, I didn't realize the friends would necessarily have to be friends in school. My bad there.

Fair enough. Just so I have an idea of the limits of what I can pull (because getting help from another player for these kinds of things isn't necessarily that simple), hypothetically what would be the most you'd be willing to suspend your disbelief for this one?

I would think at most an outer limit of 13 to 22, which would require good reasoning. For example, they could be the sibling of another character and thus would be easily possible to have been exposed to their sibling's friends, or their age could be explained away as being a college buddy of a 19 year old character and happens to hang out with the group as a result. All of which is possible, and I would like such things noted as relationships to characters, though as I've stated in the character sheet, no backstory to it. It's as simple as "Character A's friend from college" or "sibling of Character B."

Will any of you guys be playing someone famous to any degree? Idols, uber rich people, or anyone with an ojou-sama feel or the "perfect" vibe (good at sports, good at athletics, beautiful, etc...) , or even just anyone well-known for their talent at something?
I haven't quite thought of who I'm going to use yet character wise but I do have one that is like that I'm considering.

Uhmmm... that sucks. I really wanted to go considerably younger than that. Not gonna lie, not being able to play the type of character I came hoping to play is a been dampering on my will to roleplay in this RP, though it doesn't necessarily mean I'll quit over this. You sure I can't have it if I can explain it?

I mean, pitch it to me and I might reconsider. I don't want to be too harsh with the character sheets since, as I've said prior, I am going to be harsh with the in-character game rules seeing as there are things that logically can and can't happen within the RP's world itself.

Well, the character I would prefer to play would be in the age range of 4-8, so considering what you've said so far, probably I would, given freedom to, make someone in the age of 7-8. The two ideas I currently have for justifying their presence in the group are the following:
1. The sibling idea you proposed, already contacted Damafaud Damafaud who said she was ok with it. I can invite you to that PM if you'd like
2. My character could have started out basically stalking someone they really admire, gotten caught by the remaining friends and over time either naturally began approaching the group directly more and was naturally integrated or she would have tried learning their personal interests and used that to get closer to them

I would also shape the character's personality to fit whatever scenario happens to be the plan.

Damafaud Damafaud Our characters feel like opposites. One likes to be the center of attention and uses a carefree disguise to hide a mastermind. The other prefers to sit at the sidelines and is actually a real easygoing guy.
