"I see, too bad your horse isn't with you then. But that's okay. I don't mind sleeping under the stars," Lia replied, taking a seat herself. "Since Natsu won't be back for a while, you're welcome to take a turn telling me a story this time," she offered, smiling. 
(I might have to go to bed here soon, guys. It's extremely late. But I am greatly pleased with my last dying Doctor post, so I ain't even mad. )

Though the light faded from The Doctor's eyes, he could still see a light. It wasn't the light of heaven or some kind of afterlife, however, it was light from his hands.


"It's starting," his thoughts weakly reminded him.

It's not fair either.


I feel like I'm dying.


Heck, I am dying...


This hurts...


M-My body is in pain...


And when I'm gone, some new man will saunter off calling himself The Doctor, seeing new sights, helping others, and making new friends. But it won't be me.


I always end up alone...


Not fair...


He drew a final breath as his tenth incarnation and felt other patches of skin on his body, start to glow with a bright orange light...

Lia nodded in reply to Manco. She was patient and didn't mind waiting to hear a story. She found a comfortable spot next to her dog and rested down on the ground, waking up the next morning when Natsu returned.


"Whoa, you found flowers, Natsu!" she examined with a smirk. "Did you test any of them out to see if they work as a wishing flower?"


Lia didn't expect them too, but she was amused that Natsu still believed.


(Okay, there's two posts. I have a quick meeting at college so I have to run off for an hour or two, but I'll be back after that!)

The strange aftertaste of the potion was in her mouth when she woke up.


It had been more than a week since she drank it, but to her it was a second ago.


She opened her eyes and found herself inside a church.


Slowly pushing herself up on her elbows, she looked around.


There was Siegfried... and the Doctor... with Siegfried's sword in his chest.


"No... NO! You traitor!"


Arya quickly got up on her feet and pulled her sword, charging at Siegfried.


She was a second away from slashing Needle at him when she heard the doctor say "I don't want to go..." and saw a light coming from his fingers.


Her eyes couldn't get off him as the orange light started spreading over his entire body.


She frowned and her mouth fell open a little.


Lowering herself to her knees beside the Doctor and put her head on his chest, just under his neck and above the wound.


"Thank you." she whispered as he passed and she sniffed, her eyes teary.


All this time she hadn't been herself.


But she remembered everything that had happened, they were still her eyes.


The man sacrificed himself for everyone else, she now realized


Arya remembered the words her teacher at said to her.

"Not today..." she whispered again.


"I will see you again."

I feel like the only reason it's been up and down is because we don't have as many people this time, (plus we had a few who quit) so we don't have as much activity going on. But that isn't your fault. I like your characters and your world you set up. I had a lot of fun last night especially with The Doctor's drama and Lia with Natsu and Manco. xD lol.

Regina was asleep.


She almost snored, but even in her sleep, she was aware of how unattractive that would sound.

Lia tapped her chin thoughtfully. "Ah, good question. Well, I think it always will grant you wish, but it will also take something from you. It may not be years of your life, but it will be something else depending on what you wish for," Lia explained, mostly making stuff up off the top of her head. "Are you prepared to lose something if you make a wish?"

Well... I was gonna wish to be a guy again. Hmmm*Natsu was thinking making smoke come out her ears. She scratched her sides every now then. The jacket was bothering her so the scratching felt good* No I think I'm good. I can get free stuff as women. At least that is what Lucy does.

The Doctor


10 to 11

They were safe now. As The Doctor's 10th existence came to an end, so did the monsters who were connected to his mind. They disappeared into thin air, vanishing as if they had never been there to begin with. The Doctor had given his life to safe everyone in town and only two people knew it. But that was enough. Even if nobody had known what he did, he still would have been happy. Because he had done it before. He had given up his life many times to save others, and sometimes nobody even knew it. He was truly a noble and kind man of sacrifice.

He couldn't hear Arya's voice or see her face when she moved over to him and he didn't hear her yell at Siegfried. His hearing no longer worked. He didn't see Arya charge at Siegfried or look at him. He could no longer see.

The Doctor was gone, just about lifeless for a moment before the centuries old time lord healing process began to take over his body for the eleventh time. A yellow orange light engulfed The Doctor's body, covering his skin entirely. It was hot, like fire, so Arya would likely flinch and move away after she felt it. His body had begun to regenerate, changing into that of a new body and healing his wounds.

Every detail about him quickly began to transform in the light. His eyes, nose, hair, chin, teeth, and all other features even changed. Not only that, but his personality changed as well. He was becoming an entirely new man. The only thing that didn't change was his clothes. They were left behind, almost like a faint echo of the previous Doctor before him.

He hadn't explained his regeneration cycle to Arya or Siegfried, so they were likely shocked to see this happen. This wasn't new though. He had died many times before getting a chance to explain this to his friends, shocking many others. History always repeated itself...

Several moments passed, and eventually the light surrounding The Doctor's body faded. He groaned, very disoriented from the change, but lifted up a little. He blinked a few times before glancing up at Arya and Siegfried, looking between the two with a brand new pair of eyes. They were the first sight his new eyes had seen.

"Arya? Siegfried? What are the two of you staring at? Do I have something on my face?"




The Doctor then flopped back to the ground, eyes fluttering shut. The regeneration had taken a lot of out him. He would be disoriented for a while.

"I have a spare bedroom for her." He said slowly making his way down the street.

Arya was speechless throughout the whole process.


Obviously she had never seen anything like it before, and obviously she had no idea what to do or think.


She watched him transform into a new person.


Her thoughts immediately raced to Jaqen H'ghar, the Many-faced man from Braavos (see spoiler above).


But this couldn't be the same man. He would have recognized her.


"Lord Doctor, you're... you're alive..."


But then he dropped his head and closed his eyes again.


Arya wasn't sure how to feel.


She was happy of course, but confusion was overshadowing all of her other feelings.


Her eyes went to Siegfried, as if he knew the answers to all the questions she had.

Siegfried

Siegfried for a few minutes could not process anything, he was in complete shock, he killed the man... He killed a man... He fell back against a wall and could not bear to understand.. It was good right? I mean the town was saved but a life was lost, and the doctor was right... All human life is precious.


Siegfried then looked as he came back and noticed the doctor was back... but he looked different, some relief but mostly a large confused expression washed over his face. When Arya looked at him he said


"Um..."


He explained all he could to Arya, of course he still didn't understand why the hell the doctor was alive

The Doctor lied back for several more moments. His eyes closed. His mouth opened, however, expelling a breath of yellow, glowing regeneration energy leftover from his transformation. It looked like the thick foggy breath a person could produce on cold mornings when one could see their warm breath hit the frosty air as they spoke, except, well, it was yellow.

Within the first 18 hours or so of his regeneration, The Doctor could heal any wounds he received, regrow any lost limbs, and even heal others. The time lord and his friends would be all right for a while.


Eventually, The Doctor opened his eyes opened again.


"You know, it's very rude to stare. Oh! Where are my manners! I just died, didn't I? That huuuurt by the way! Don't do it again, Siegfried. Oh! I asked you to do it, didn't I? My bad, my bad..."


The Doctor popped up from where he lied on the ground like a springy jack-in-the-box, beginning to gleefully check his hair and face with his hands. His eyes shimmered with excitement and energy. By looking at him, it was already easy to see he looked more upbeat and peppy than the last Doctor.


"Now then! Siegfried! Arya! I have a very important question to ask you two!" He grinned widely.


(*drum roll for Doctor Who fans* I'm sure y'all know what he's gonna ask. xD )
