Fantasy Murder: The Shadow's Grip

"I have no idea what you--" The Doctor gripped his head, suddenly letting out a cry of pain.


Black holes began to open up, creatures of different sorts coming out of them. Some of the holes opened in the warehouse, some outside in the town.


"What's happening?!" The Doctor demanded.


"That potion you just drank is a link to your mind," The Master explained. "Anything bad you have ever faced or seen can now come alive courtesy of your memories. If one of the creatures is killed, a new one will pop up in its place. And you've seen a lot of enemies in your day, Doctor. I would worry about the other survivors right about now. But you care for the girl, yes? As promised, I'll give you the location of her cure. Open the yellow box to your right. You'll find a map to the cure which is somewhere in town."


Many of the monsters the Doctor had faced--creatures from many different time periods and worlds--indeed emerged from the holes, accompanied by many shadows. Their group was now in danger.


"Th-This is bad, how do I stop it?!"


The Master laughed. "Oh that's the glory of it all! The cure I told you about for the girl, it will stop your mind from spawning creatures. But there is only ONE cure. Either you can drink it and stop the monsters, or she can drink it and live. The choice is yours. But, keep in mind, should you cure her, many of the survivors in town could die thanks to the monsters now attacking the town. Save the girl, and let the others remain in danger? Or let her die and save the others? The choice is yours. And I suggest you hurry."


The hologram flickered off. The Doctor cursed loudly and returned his attention to Arya.


"Come with me, there's something we have to do."


(Kay, guys, I made a crap ton of monsters invade the town just so all of you know. Read my above post. I hope that's okay with rainbow, but I was bored. xD )

Siegfried sat in his porch playing with a yo-yo bored out of his mind, he wasn't really ready to see what everyone wanted to do so he just sat there, bored.


He was glad that dog was saved but what of that woman? Either way he was too confused to care, he didn't know who the hell those people were, or better yet where they were. He then heard some commotion coming from down the street, he looked over for a second, not seeing anything but then this thing popped out of the ground.

"What in the hell...?"


More of the creatures popped out, so there was only one thing Siegfried could do.


He fucking ran inside.


Locked the doors.


And said


"Fuck that."

((I come back to see what all I miss and now we have Cybermen, Dalecks, Silences, Weeping Angels, and god knows what else?!?!?! Could it get worse? Arya / Anna listened to all the talk of serums and cures and monsters.


"I'm dreaming. I must have fallen asleep... during... dinner... again. Oh god Elsa's gonna kill me."


The hologram disappeared and she saw the man turn to her.


"Do? Do what? What's this talk about saving me, I don't need saving. I feel just f--"


Arya then stared at the doctor for a while, processing.


"You're tall. People tell me I'm tall, but you, hooooh."

The Doctor ran a hand through his brown hair and sighed. "Let's just say... yes! You're dreaming! And I will be your guide this evening. This dream is sort of like a... game!" The Doctor moved over to the yellow box The Master had told him about and took out a map. "The goal of the game is to find the treasure at the end of this map. Once you do, you'll be able to wake up. Understand?"

Arya looked around again and mumbled.


"This is one weird dream..."


She followed the man and looked at the map.


"Oh, cool! It's an adventure! Anna and her sidekick, on a quest to find... treasure! This is so exciting!"


Then she walked to the door and opened it, stepping outside, eager to find the treasure.


"Oh I can't wait to tell Elsa ab-- AHH!"


Arya jumped back, straight into the doctor's arms, her arms around his neck.


Nymeria was standing in front of them.


And since the wolf was so big, she was very surprised to see it standing in front of her all of a sudden.


"Help! Monster! It'sgonnaeatmepleasehelpmeIdon'twannadieI'mwaytooyoungandpretty!"

The time lord watched in horror as a dalek came at them, fresh from his mind.

"EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!" it cried.

He whipped out his sonic screwdriver, pointing it at the eye stalk of the dalek. He disabled it's vision, causing the bot to be blinded.


"Exterminate!" the dalek cried, firing a beam of energy. It missed, thankfully, from being blinded. The Doctor gripped Arya's hand.


"Run!" he cried, grabbing Arya's hand and tugging her. "This isn't some cute little robot! It's one of the most dangerous beings out there!"

Ryu walked around town, just in general looking for something of interest. He kept his guard up, still awaiting the announced attack of one the creatures specified by their...host. He yawned and almost decided to go back to his room when he stopped. He smiled as he saw something that really piqued his interest. The building as a small shop, filled with instruments galore. "Alright a music shop! This is more my style!" He exclaimed happily as he rushed inside. He looked around amazed, happy to see something good for once. He didn't even notice the shopkeeper, a small older lady, walking up behind him, until she spoke saying, "Hello young one, welcome to Magical Music and More." she said smiling gently. Ryu jumped, startled before he settled down and smiled. "O-Oh... Hi, my name is Ryu. Sorry, just wanted to check things out...I really love music." he said shyly.

"We could use some help!" The Doctor shouted, wondering where in the name of Gallifrey all the other survivors were at. The town was invaded by monsters! Didn't anyone notice?

"For now, yes! We have little options!" The Doctor changed corse and ran toward the younger man who had called out to them.


The Doctor dashed in the direction of the manor, heading in through the door and pulling Arya along with him.


"Oh thank you! Thank you so much! That was a right spot we were in," he said, grabbing the young man's hand and giving it a firm shake.

"A rich bloke, aye?" The Doctor asked smiling. "Well thank you for your assistance. By what name do you go by?" He asked, glancing to the door with a frown. This place did seen fortified, but it wouldn't hold forever. The Doctor would need to take this small opportunity to look over the map he had and figure out where the potion was. He glanced to Arya. "Stick with me, we'll figure this map out." Finding the cure would probably be the easy part. Figuring out what to do once he had it would be the hard part.
