(( I wasn't sure if I would have it lit or not... but for the heck of it--since not much is happening--let's just say it's lit! xD ))

"Well, I have a ship which could take you home... if it were still there, that is." The Doctor frowned feeling sorry for Arya. "I'm so sorry your home is gone. That, Arya, we have in common." He took his hand off Nymeria and smiled. "But the past is in the past, eh? Let's work on figuring out what to do here in the present, namely, escaping this place." He glanced to the warehouse again.

"This place is suspicious. I've walked this town up and down the past few days and this building didn't pop up until about an hour ago. I feel it may be a helpful place to explore." He hoped, at least.

@JayJay
*My eyes widened at the sight of the lit fuse of the dynamite. "How in the hell?" I said. I tried to reach for the dynamite, but Renegade kept moving away, it seams he doesn't want to give it up, at least for me. Maybe Lia can take it from him. "Try and get that thing away from him! If you can get it, pull the fuse directly out of the dynamite itself." I said. This isn't the first time something like this has happened, except I was the one who threw the dynamite, and had to remove the fuse.*

A ship that could take her back to her homelands.
Arya could only assume she was on a distant island now.

Somehow taken overseas by some strange form of magic, maybe.

Her home didn't bother her now, she had other things to pay attention to.

"This building? You say it just... appeared? Out of nowhere?"

Arya was obviously confused, though she had given up trying to find explanations for things in this strange world.

Besides, she had always had a soft spot for mysterious places and adventure.

She smiled and nodded at the Doctor.

"Then we should explore it." she said.

She hadn't noticed before, but now she saw that the man was not carrying any weapon she knew of.

He had no sword, axe or spear, not even one of the steel L-shaped mechanisms so many seemed to use.

"You're unarmed, lord Doctor? If that's the case, don't worry. Needle will protect all three of us."

Arya smirked and slid her sword out of its sheath a little, showing him the thin, shiny steel.
"Indeed!" The Doctor replied with a nod. "Quite out of nowhere. Shall we take a look inside? Allons-y!"

He stepped into the building, seeing that it was pitch black dark inside. "Good to know we have protection. I am unarmed and proud of it," he admitted, strolling into the darkness without a trace of fear in his eyes.

The building trembled as they entered, boxes from shelves that lines it's walls falling down to the ground.

"Boxes?" he wrinkled his nose. "That's all that was in here? Eh well, might as well open them. Needle is your sword, correct? Well, don't kill anything unless you have to. I don't really like death," he said with a small sigh.

Lia nodded and rushed over to Renegade. "Drop it!" she exclaimed loudly, panic on her face. Renegade complied, luckily, and Lia took it so she could quickly pull the fuse out.

She grunted. "I think the people controlling this place we're trapped in are toying with us! That could have killed renegade!" She angrily tossed the dynamite to the ground. "If they would have killed him, I could have killed every last one of them!"

She was mad now, but part of her also hoped that there wasn't anymore dynamite or dangerous items around.

Confused at his sudden exclamation in what she presumed was a different language, Arya followed, staying by the man's side.

She was never fond of darkness, but she had been in it plenty of times.

A lingering sound of steel scraping against steel was heard as she slowly drew her sword.

The rumbling caught her off guard.

Her eyes were only just starting to adjust to the darkness when she heard several boxes fall.

Startled, she immediately turned to the direction of the noise.

"Yes... Boxes... Don't worry... I won't kill anything that doesn't try to kill us."

Shaking away the thought of bloodthirsty monsters looking at her from dark corners, she walked to one of the boxes.

Being careful, she tapped it with the tip of her sword first, then listened for a few seconds.

After that, she used Needle to give it a louder smack, listening again.

As a final precaution, she made a little hole in the top of the box, slowly pushing her sword into it to kill any ghosts or demons that were in there.

"Getting angry will only makes things worse, just calm down. If you get too angry, you'll act out, and leave you open for something bad to happen." *I said, while pulling out another cigarillo and lighting it with a match. I picked up the dynamite off the ground, and put it in my satchel, this will come in handy later on. If we get into any trouble of course. I question where the dynamite came from though...it was definitely from my time, it said '1870 Roberts Black Powder Co.' on the side. That's very odd, how in the hell did this get here anyway?*

When Arya tapped the box with needle, making a hole in it, the room illuminated suddenly. Lights lit up the room and the doors they had entered, slammed shut.

"Ah, ah, ah, don't open those boxes," a voice said, coming from a speaker on the ceiling. "This room was locked for a reason. It was to keep all pesky survivors out."

The Doctor chuckled. "Ah, really? Clearly you've never met a time lord with a sonic screwdriver."

"Cocky, are we? Well, if you're so curious about this place fine..."

Slots opened on the sides of the wall, guns poking out.

"Do what we say and you won't die. Move to the left side of the room and open up the green box."

The Doctor frowned seeing the guns. "Do what they say for now, Arya. I'm curious..."

When her eyes re-adjusted to all of the sudden light in the room, she gripped her sword tightly.

She stepped away from the box and looked around, not even bothering to ask what a sonic screwdriver was.

Or a time lord, for that matter.

The guns came out and Arya turned her head from side to side, keeping her sword raised as if it would protect her.

Light scratches were heard against the door from Nymeria's claws, who was left outside.

She didn't exactly know what the thing pointed at the two were, but she assumed they were dangerous.

"Hiding behind your walls like cowards... And they say I'm a little girl."

Arya made her way to the mentioned box.

She looked at it, then back at the Doctor, making sure he wanted her to do this.

Then, she opened it with her spare hand, keeping her sword pointed at the box, just in case.

// I don't mind a single bit, I'm bored too ^^

Lia touched her forehead and squeezed her eyes shut. "Ugh, you're right, you're right. I just... hate the idea of losing him..." She glanced to Renegade with a frown. The playful dog was rolling around in the dirt happily as if nothing bad had even happened. Sometimes Lia wished she could be more carefree like he could.

"But anyhow, that dynamite was strange. Where do you think it came from? And more importantly... Do you think there's more in town? If so, this place could be in some trouble..."

Some of the buildings could get blown up, and some of the survivors could get hurt. She didn't like the thought of that.

*After reading what it said on the dynamite, and placing it in my satchel, I looked up at Lia. I could tell she was a bit worried, especially how she could have lost her pet. "I'm not sure where it came from, all I know is that it said it was from the year 1870 on the stick of dynamite. Which is the time I am from." I said, while scratching my left cheek. "It must have come from nearby though, it was lit when Renegade had it in his mouth. Which means someone must have lit it nearby." I relied, while looking at the area Renegade may have picked it up from. That's strange how it was from 1870, and was lit. Someone is nearby, and someone wants us dead...*

The Doctor stood in place, waiting for Arya to open the box. "What's in it, pompous voice from the sky?" he asked.

"Just open it and you'll find out," the voice replied.

When Arya opened the box three vials of green liquid were inside.

"It's a serum we've created here in our lab," the voice explained. "We had intended to test it on your group, but since the two of you were a bit too impatient to wait, how about one of you try it?" the voice said with a laugh. It was a... loud laugh... crazy sounding. The Doctor felt his hearts sink.

"If anyone has to try it, I suppose it should be me. I'm sorry I pulled you into this place, Arya," he said, tightening his fists. He just wanted a way out, but had only gotten them into more danger. Finding danger was something The Doctor had always been good at, much to his dismay.

@JayJay

@JayJay[/URL]
She had never heard of serums or labs, but Arya presumed those vials were filled with a potion.

A potion that had effects unknown to any of them, or so they would have her believe.

She picked one up as the stranger started laughing.

"I suppose these are all of the same liquid..."

The Doctor volunteered to drink.

Arya looked at him, raising her eyebrows.

"I walked in here with you, lord Doctor, you're not to blame."

She opened the vial and sniffed it.

It didn't have a particular smell she recognized, but it didn't smell like wine or any other drink she knew.

Arya thought for a moment, not saying anything and then quickly putting it to her lips, taking only a small sip.

Seems like curiousity had gotten the better of her.

She waited for any effects.

The Doctor waited for her to bring it to him, but was shocked when she raised it to her lips to drink it herself.

"NO! ARYA DON'T" he cried, rushing over to her. He slapped the vial out of her hand, but it was too late, she had already sipped the green liquid inside. The vial shattered when it hit the floor, the remains of the green liquid forming a puddle that bubbled and hissed for a moment.

"I was going to examine it to make sure it's effects were safe, oh Arya, you didn't have to do that." The Doctor hung his head, putting his hands on the younger girl's shoulders. What if it was acid and ate her insides out? The Doctor was more resistant than humans. It was more likely to do less damage to him.

The loud maniacal laugh could be heard over the speaker again.

"Oooh couldn't be the hero this time, could you, Doctor? I thought for sure you would have drank it. That would have made for a fun time."

A beam shot down from a small hole that opened up in the ceiling, projecting an image on a holographic screen.

"Good to see you again, Doctor."

The Doctor narrowed his eyes seeing his old nemesis. "The Master, what are you doing here? But more importantly, what did you do to Arya?!"

"You'll find out in due time," he said with a laugh. "Just a bit of fun, I promise it won't hurt her... for now..."

The Doctor quickly glanced to Arya. "Well?"

The potion effected her... mind... all traces of her memories vanished instantly, replacing her memories with that of another person... a random person or being... It could have been anyone...

(I'll let you choose what random memories Arya gets. ;) )

"Yeah, that sounds about right," Lia agreed with a nod. "Should we check into it? Or should we just leave it alone?" Lia knelt next to her dog, rubbing his back. "I'm kind of worried someone or something might be trying to bother us. Probably some bee keeper who is pissed off you shot their bee hive," Lia joked.

Arya stared at nothing for a while.

When the Doctor put his hands on her shoulders, she screamed and start wildly slapping at the Doctor's arms.

Her English accent vanished, now speaking in a slightly more American one.

"Woah woah woah! No touch! This is a no touch zone! Okay? Got it? Good! Don't touch.

Now tell me where I am. Because I SWEAR I was just having dinner with Elsa."

Her eyes darted around the room, confused as hell.

Yup, Arya thought she was Princess Anna of Arendelle.

Sorry.

Couldn't think of anyone else.

*I thought about her question for a moment, should we try and find the person who tried to kill us? "No, it seems too dangerous right now to go out looking for the person who tried to kill us. We should just stay here, and wait things out. At least until we can get backup or something." I said. I made my way back over to the tree, and sat down, leaning against the tree. I might just get some shuteye before doing anything dangerous.*

(Bwahaha wonderful~)

The Doctor raised an eyebrow. "Arya?" He rushed over to the girl, surprised at her words.

"What. Did. You. Do?!" The angry time lord cried.

The Master threw his head back and laughed. "Don't ask when you can figure this out on your own. Check her mind."

The Doctor growled and touched Arya's temples, checking her mind. His eyes widened. "Her memories have changed."

"Indeed," The Master chortled. "And they'll only continue to change. About every hour or so, her memories will change and she'll believe that she's someone else. But I'm afraid every last test subject we've tried it on has died after 8-12 hours. It fries their minds. Pity really."

"Oh no, that is not happening to Arya. Tell me how to fix this, NOW!"

The Master laughed again. "How about a trade? You drink a potion this time and I'll give you the location of a cure that is hidden somewhere in town. Open the blue box in front of you and drink the vial of blue liquid."

The Doctor grunted. "Deal."

He followed the man's instructions and drank the liquid. He grunted and gripped his head, feeling it throb a little. "Hang in there, Arya, I will fix this."

(( No, not really. RainbowWave doesn't seem to be around at the moment. So things have been very slow today. ))

Arya looked at the man talking to a hologram, one of her eyebrows raised.

When he touched her temples, she spoke up again.

"Woah, okay okay, I thought we were clear on the no touching part.

My memories? How can anyone's memories change?
(+1 internets if you see the irony in this)

This is all just getting kinda, y'know."

She tapped her temple with a finger.

"Coockoo. Crazy. Okay so, I'm gonna gooo..."

Arya started to walk away when she looked back and saw the man drinking a blue liquid.

"That doesn't look very tasty, are you sure that's-- oookay never mind, you drank it."

@JayJay

"Sure, let's see how good you are at fixing things when your mind is a mess as well. Or, more accurately speaking, your mind causes a mess," The Master replied.

"I have no idea what you--" The Doctor gripped his head, suddenly letting out a cry of pain.

Black holes began to open up, creatures of different sorts coming out of them. Some of the holes opened in the warehouse, some outside in the town.

"What's happening?!" The Doctor demanded.

"That potion you just drank is a link to your mind," The Master explained. "Anything bad you have ever faced or seen can now come alive courtesy of your memories. If one of the creatures is killed, a new one will pop up in its place. And you've seen a lot of enemies in your day, Doctor. I would worry about the other survivors right about now. But you care for the girl, yes? As promised, I'll give you the location of her cure. Open the yellow box to your right. You'll find a map to the cure which is somewhere in town."

Many of the monsters the Doctor had faced--creatures from many different time periods and worlds--indeed emerged from the holes, accompanied by many shadows. Their group was now in danger.

"Th-This is bad, how do I stop it?!"

The Master laughed. "Oh that's the glory of it all! The cure I told you about for the girl, it will stop your mind from spawning creatures. But there is only ONE cure. Either you can drink it and stop the monsters, or she can drink it and live. The choice is yours. But, keep in mind, should you cure her, many of the survivors in town could die thanks to the monsters now attacking the town. Save the girl, and let the others remain in danger? Or let her die and save the others? The choice is yours. And I suggest you hurry."

The hologram flickered off. The Doctor cursed loudly and returned his attention to Arya.

"Come with me, there's something we have to do."
