Fantasy Murder: The Shadow's Grip

Arya was starting to find this world more interesting.


She looked around at everything in awe.


"Where does the Lord of this village live? Is it that building over there?"


She pointed to the police station.

No. It's different than my world, but im'm guessing that is the police. They are like a guard to keep laws in order. Thought most of the time they are assholes.

Arya nodded, she liked learning about all this.


"Oh... You're from a different world as well? What was yours like?


I'm Arya by the way. Of house Stark."


Arya kept walking without knowing where to, looking at Natsu and keeping a hand on her sword at all times.

He gently closed the eyes that were still open and looking horrified before turning to leave the room so he could tell the others she was dead.


"Whoever did this will pay," The Doctor hissed though closes teeth, now angry. He never let anyone get away with killing someone he liked.


The Doctor told the others what had happened and spent the rest of the day trying to help the others settle down. He must have been tired, because he closed his eye for only a moment, and woke up to find himself in a strange town with odd houses. He left the house he was in and ran to the one next door, seeing if he could find anyone. He saw a young woman with blonde hair in a bed, a dog curled up beside her.


When The Doctor moved close to her, she awoke. "Wh-Where am I?" she questioned.


The Doctor looked to her softly. "I don't know, but I'm going to find out. You look weak though. I can only presume your body was under some kind of stress yesterday Miss--"


"Lia," she told him.


"Miss Lia," he said with a nod. "I suggest you stay here and rest."


"Are you sure you don't need any help?"


The Doctor shook his head. "No, I've got this. Sit tight. Nice dog, by the way," he added, patting Renegade's head once before quickly exiting the house.

It's a magical world filled with mages and mage guilds. Lots evil mages though... It's stupid how many there are. Luckily I get to take care of them! Not every one is a mage though. It's a game of chance really.

After cleaning dishes Adain went back down towards the store but this time he went to the police station. He made his way to the evidence locker, hoping it had something he wanted. He tried to open the door but it was locked. He shot the door handle and kicked the door. Inside was many weird items but he was looking for one particular thing.


After half an hour of searching, and picking up a few things he liked, he found what he had came for. It was a bag of ganja, and it was good from the smell. He also found a glass bong that he confiscated. Since they were safe he decided to just indulge going over to the grocery store to get a few bottles of liquor.


He returned to his home, turned the lights out, turned some Pop-Punk on and let himself go.

(I am back! Some crazy shit is about to be happening. Also, Mid-round update at 3 pm EDT.) 
The sphinx lowered its head, laying it against the soft grass. It was in the town park sitting next to one of the many picnic tables, the sphinx was possibly the only thing or person that knew how it got here. The earth statue closed its eyes, waiting for a time it had to give a riddle. 
(@JayJay and @MrDubWubs go inside the police station and I'll start replying to you . Anyone else, do some stuff and I'll reply to you.)

"What's that over there?" asked a small child. The sphinx lifted it's head, turning it so he faced her. "I am a sphinx. Not man nor cat, but a mix between. Would you like a riddle young one?" asked the sphinx in a monotone voice. The child was still a distance away, but the sphinx had ears like a cat.

Feeling a little hungry, JoJo decided to make his way into the diner. Even if there weren't any chefs there, he wondered if there might be any food or at least ingredients for him to preapre something. Maybe some squid ink spaghetti. After all, it's not good to work on an empty stomach, so he may as well get his fill of breakfast.


...Or is it lunchtime now?

"This is you're riddle, The part of the bird which is not in the sky, which can swim on the ocean and always stay dry. What is it? " asked the sphinx in its normal monotone voice.

DING DONG! a loud clock tower bell could be heard through out the town, it came from all directions so it was almost impossible to know where the sound originally came from. There was clearly no clock tower in this town.

She was confused about this.


"A bird can't swim on the ocean..." she said to herself.


What part of a bird could possibly swim?


Maybe it was a special sort of bird, magical or something.


No, it had to be much simpler than that.


She thought of something and smiled.


"It's water... water is like a mirror... it reflects...


Is it its... reflection?"
