Peter looked around. "Me in a sewer. Tale as old as time. You never see the Avengers in the sewers. Or the Fantastic Four or the X-Men." He said crawling on ceiling. "And what a wonderful smell I've discovered. Groddy. Where are you? We gotta have a chat arachnid to big giant mean gorilla."

"Hey Grodd. So... I don't like that you beat up my girlfriend. Really I'd like to beat the sbot out of you." He gently lowered himself to the ground removinf each linb from the ceiling one at a time. "But I'm not going to. Because you're just doing what you were told to do. By father... Who I'm guessing is Wells. He was nice to you when bad people hurt you." He said. He looker around seeing equations, philosophies and even Poetry on the walls. "You're getting smarter. Soon you'll be a genius ape. All that intelligence. And you put towards someone else's goals." He looked at Grodd. "I'm not going to hurt you. We don't have to fight. I'm gonna take this off now and let you in. Let me understand the pain you went through. Let me help." Peter then voluntarily removed the headset.
"your girlfriend...blue octopus woman, weak. You fight you will join your weak girlfriend...." Good replied in a huff eyeing Petter from across the tunnel watching Peter drop down one limb at a time from the ceiling. "How do you know about father?....how you know father, father says you can't be trusted....you want to hurt, use and stop Grodd, just like everyone else," Grodd said keeping a close eye at every movement Peter was making. The large gorilla looked as Peter slowly took the device off his head and set it aside. Grodd ran over stopping meer inches from Peter's face in a large thud, fists slaming on the ground as he let out a large roar showing off his teeth. He waited, waiting for his reaction, waiting to see if his human should be trusted.
Grodd huffed blowing air from his nostrils to Peter before standing up. Looking down at Peter "your not weak...fine....no fight....but not going to like......showing wi hurt...pain always" He spoke mentally to Peter.

"A pleasure to meet you Titus..." she said walking deeper into the forest. So he was an aquantance, she hoped he was a good person and not a bad one and leaning him to hurt Leon.
"You as well."
Grodd stood there looking at Peter as he took a seat in front of him. Grodd sat down in a loud thud. Closing his eyes he sent out images of his past memories in the lab into Peter's head.
Adelaide gently smiled and gave him a nod and she continued to walk keeping quite for the rest of the way.
Peter kept silent as he experienced what Grodd went through. It was truly terrible.
Grodd finished showing Peter the memories and stood there looking back down. "Hurtful memories.....nothing but pain and anger"
"I can see that." Peter said. "And humans will just remind you... You need to get out of central city. You need to be somewhere where your free to be an ape." He said.
"Grood dislikes humans..."Grood grunted in agreement "is there such a place on were Grood will be his own ape....no having to worry about humans?" He asked.
"I think I can find a place for you." Peter said.
"You not trick Grodd?...or I will have to hurt...and hurt bad..." He huffed eyeing Peter still a bit unsure.
"No." He said. "No trick."
"...fine...But father will not be please of my absence...." Grood replied
"Your father is controlling and only using you for his own ends." Peter said. "Come on. I know a way you can leave this planet and find one where you'll be left alone. No humans."
"I am unsure...father is been good to Grodd...but no humans...Grodd perfurs." Grodd said with a nod. "...small spider boy not like others, why help Grodd?...no mad?" He asked as he followed.
"Honestly Grodd. I'm pissed. You hurt someone I care about. You hurt them badly. But she told me to help you. And that helping you is the right thing. So that's what I'm doing."
"The small weak creature with tentacles on their head?...." He asked his face didn't show emotions very well but the large gorilla felt remorse. That strange human lived? And didn't want him killed after what he had done. He felt conflicted with his views of humans. "I see..." He said.
