He handed Lucy his Ice rod with clear implications she's use it to help stabalize the ever increasing temperature.

(You got this) They got to fan room. The fans were moving at full speed. "Oh. And look where the recent is?" The Doctor pointed to the other end of the room. He walked over to a lever and pulled it down slowing the fans somewhat but when he let go the lever went up and the fans sped up again. The Doctor looked at Jabe. "Get out of here." He said. "Someone'll have to hold that lever down when they do the heat will vent through this place."
