Kaleb had a ugly dog he make Vera feed and water everyday, he told her that the dog was more important than her. When she was 12 it was cold windy day and the dog attacked her. It left her in the hospital for half a year. Thankfully she only received one scar from it. A year later she started to develop her ‘talents’. It all started when she cut her hand on a saw blade in her stepdad’s workroom. At first she felt a sharp pain, then nothing. She thought she went into shock but then she looked at her hand and saw that the wound was gone. Then her ability to hear and speak different languages. After that she could feel others’ emotions, that’s when she started to really enjoy her ‘alone time’ with guys. Her last power to come in was the super speed, she started to move faster and faster until she was a blur when she ran. That’s when the letter came inviting her to the academy.[/SIZE]

Personality: Rowanna is calm and quiet as she listens more than she cares to speak. Based on her past, she has slight trust issues, and may seem cold when first met. However, when she gets to know someone and begins to trust them, she is open and kind. Rowanna is careful and calculated when it comes to use of her abilities, and therefore she is quite intelligent. She is very selfless and would gladly lay down her life for the people she cares about, wanting to protect them from harm.


Background: Rowanna was raised by a single father who was a prominent scientist from Germany. However, he lost his reputation by focusing on the "supernatural" and trying to prove their existence. Rowanna first found out about her abilities at 5 years old. She foolishly approached a stray dog in order to pet it, but instead was bit. Terror caused her immediate transformation into a dog, which her father witnessed. From that moment on, Rowanna became nothing more than a experimental subject to her father. After he deduced what caused her to be able to transform, he purposefully took her around the world in order to find different animals to bite, scratch, sting, fin, peck, etc. her. On her 12th birthday, Rowanna's father took her to meet a Grizzly bear at the local zoo. Using his scientific connections, he was able to get her close enough to the bear for it to scratch. However, instead of simply scratching, the bear bit a chunk from Rowanna's hand. The pain and terror immediately caused her to turn into a grizzly, at which point she panicked and accidentally killed her own father with one powerful swing of her arm.


Rowanna ran immediately, terrified, sad, and alone. She lived homeless and on the run for many years. Eventually she heard about the Academy and decided it would be the best place for her.


Powers: 


-Animal shape-shifting: Rowanna has the ability to transform into any animal she has in some way been injured by. She has been known to collect objects such as claws and teeth shed from animals just in case she ever needs to be that animal for some reason. Her preferred species are a wolf and a leopard.


-Quick regeneration: Through the ability of her body's cells to morph and change to different species, they are also able to divide very quickly to heal and injuries that may happen to Rowanna.


-Zoolingualism: She is able to communicate with any animal she meets, where that be verbally or through body language and reactions.


Weapons: Rowanna is very skilled with throwing knives and shuriken. She almost never misses her mark.


Likes: Animals, training, being in her two favorite forms (a leopard or a wolf), climbing trees to read a good book, Mexican food, tea, and playing the guitar


Dislikes: Eating animals (she's a vegetarian), people threatening her friends, thunderstorms, lying, someone trying to control her or her abilities, feeling unwanted
