Bio: An Aztec God of fire and earth thought long dead, Xui remains sleeping in a supernatural coma under an ancient temple in the NetherRealm. Should he be awakened, forgotten pathways between NetherRealm and the Mortal Realm shall be reopened. Only known to Xui, they could provide a secret means of travel, but there may be a few gods on Earth who can still remember them with enough motivation.


Fighting style: Jaguar (basic boxing/low kickboxing)


Weapon: cuauhololli (obsidian mace) and shield, only available after crafting by Xui


Special moves: Magma blast, only available after enough time has elapsed after awakening

Name: Max Cato (Maximus Cato)

Allies: Special Forces, though he is yet to develop true camaraderie with them


Enemies: Kano, Raiden, and mildly everyone supporting Raiden


Bio: Maximus was a Roman Legionary during the Punic Wars, but he defied the gods and was cursed by them to live forever and lose everyone he held dear. Specifically it was Raiden who Maximus discovered was responsible for this punishment. He was not expected to have lived as long as he has. He spent the whole time learning and training, eventually becoming well-versed in many styles. He fought a guerrilla campaign against the Huns as they advanced on Rome, and he watched as Rome burned after its sacking at the hands of the Vandals. He enlisted to defend Consantinople, but could not stop its fate. He fought against Napoleon with yet more guerrilla tactics, seeing his surrender and exile to Corsica, the resurgence and ultimate defeat as well. He saw the Dawn of Steam fly past, then traveled to Japan with the first men there, ultimately abandoning the Westerners and joining with a Monk Monastery, quickly ascending to be chief among the warriors of the temple. He left Japan to fight for his native Italy in World War One, though he traveled back to Japan after the war, roaming Asia and learning martial techniques until World War Two. As soon as World War Two began, he fled to Australia, where he thought it would be safe, as he did not approve of the Fascist dictates, having learned the folly of the Emperors and Kings and Monarchs throughout his long life. He stayed here for most of the rest of his life, though he now lives in Italy. It was in Australia that he met and was targeted by Kano, although Maximus managed to escape. Now that Raiden is gone mad, he has joined up with Special Forces, fighting Raiden however he can, as his hatred still burns somewhat in him, though he is also a little pleased with Raiden, as he has overall enjoyed his expanded life.


Fighting style: Many different styles when unarmed, though he tends towards a mix of Wing Chun, Boxing, and Krav Maga. When using his sword, he is something of a master, having specialised in his swordwork. He incorporates the styles of many famous swordmasters, especially since he actually trained with them. He is also a decent shot with his rifle, although he mostly uses it at range.


Weapon: A gladius at his right hip, then a foldable shield on his left forearm that can be flicked open into the shape of a kite shield. Over his back poking over his left shoulder is a Pattern 1914 Enfield. Over his back poking over his right shoulder is a Doppelhander he took a liking to.


Special moves: Many involving his weapons.

Bio: Eira was once a Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei long before what it is today. She was born back when the Lin Kuei were just assassins to the highest bidder and as a ancestor to a cryomancer she was born with powers that only a few had in her clan. As years went on she got stronger and stronger and ended up with the highest assassinations complete among most of her clan. once she reached the age of twenty the Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei passed away but not before writing who will become the next Grandmaster, that person was Eira. Being given the Dragon medallion her powers reached yet a new level. However Eira disliked how the Lin Kuei was and began trying to change it from the blood thirsty clan it was now a small portion of members liked the idea however a large portion didn't and ended up attacking Eira in the one place where she would be alone. What was meant to be an easy mission for the thirty people who attacked Eira wasn't she ended up defeating twenty out of the thirty barely even looking like she broke a sweat, however once reinforcements backed up the remaining 10 she knew she couldn't win. Using most of her power and that of the Dragon medallion she threw the medallion outside before freezing her and everything around her in ice. As time went of and hundred of years passed it was not until a young Sub-Zero entered the grounds of a old Lin Kuei tomb that he discovered a part blocked off by ice. Using his own cryomancer powers he managed to break most of the ice however just as he was about to break one last part he noticed something in the ice a person, with the assistance of his clan they thawed out the person only to recognize the outfit was that of the ancient Lin Kuei. Telling them who she was and what happened prior to being frozen Sub-zero let her back into the Lin Kuei (not like she never left) and began filling her into whats been happening in the world since she's been gone.


Fighting style: She is a Cryomancer using different weapons made of ice to attack her foes.


Weapon: She uses anything she makes out of ice normal two swords.

Name: Jake Roman


Appearance: Jake looks like a normal guy. He wears casual clothing, but has a fighting outfit passed down from his father. Jake has Dark Brown hair. Just imagine your average 21 year old guy.

Realm: Earthrealm


Alignment: Good


Affiliation: Normal man, with ties to Shaolin. Gets contacted by Special Forces due to story stuff (Bio)


Allies: Special Forces, Shaolin


Enemies: Netherrealm, anything that looks bad/evil.


Bio: Jake's father was part of the shaolin. His father had the ability to control fire however he wished. His mother took Jake away to New York. Jake lived his life normally until he discovered his ability to control fire at will. He almost burned down his house. His mother barely survived the fire, but is now doing well resting in a hospital. Jake's father was at the Shaolin's top ranks, but was assassinated. This led to the Special Forces asking him for help in place of his father. Jake must now adjust to his new life.


Fighting style: Jun Fan, Mantis, and Shaolin Fist.


Weapon: If needed Katana.


Special moves: Fire Blasts. Wields fire. Adopted Father's fighting skill.

Name: BloodHound


Appearance: Bipedal hound with a hooded coat and a large water skin placed on his back. He has dark grey fur and he has reddish eyes. His large teeth are always exposed but he can't really do anything about it.


Race: Hunter pack hound.


Realm: Outworld and Earthrealm


Alignment: Neutral but more inclined to good.


Affiliations: No one really knows him because is mostly travelling. Those that do only know him as the rumoured Wolf of bloodshed.


Allies: Anyone who is not trying to kill him or his other allies.


Enemies: Netherealm fighters or defenders. People who attack him or his allies, friends or family.


Bio: BloodHound was born in Earthrealm but being a creature that was not human, his and his family presence wasn't exactly a good thing. While he was travelling back to Outworld, the black dragon decided it was a great time to rob some people. Raiden, before he lost his marbles, rescued him. A few of Raiden's proficiencies had showed him that BloodHound would start something important but he didn't know what so he did what any good god would do. Later he would learn the basics of an ancient magic art that he would master in a few short years. After hearing Raiden had changed and attacked Outworld, he knew that he would have to leave his old thanks of him behind and help to fight the invasion of Outworld.


Fighting Styles: Bloodshed, Feral and Wolfman.


Weapons: Blood that is held in his waterskins. He also has his teeth, claws and fists.

Bio: Malicious sorcerer, Azriel served Shinnok and Quan Chi loyally for thousands of years; following the invasion of Earthrealm, Shinnok was incapacitated and Quan Chi was dead. Azriel was eager to take control of Netherrealm but Liu Kang and Kitana were faster.


He decides to feign loyalty to the new monarchs, as he plots their downfall. Once he learns of the Deadly Alliance, Azriel approaches them and starts acting as their spy in Netherrealm. Vicious plan appears in his mind; he will use the invasion of Netherrealm to dispose of Liu Kang, and to make Kitana his bride. With that deed done, sorcerer would become the new ruler of Netherrealm.
