Futuristic Moonstruck - A Space Roleplay!

Name: Saphira Fulbus

Species: Human Hybrid

Gender: Female

Age: 16

Occupation: Barkeeper

Personality: Because she is young, she is naive. She has great faith and hope for the world. This can be considered both a strength and a weakness because she sees the world through rose tinted glasses, she can inspire others with her vision but can also have her faith and hope in people in general used against her through manipulation. She greets everyone with kindness and generosity, even those who look down on her hybrid status or on her in general.

Backstory: Both of her parents are unknown to her, she was raised by a woman who claimed to be her aunt. There was no one to refute this claim so she was given to her and raised in the rowdy bar atmosphere. The woman, Kyne, was kind though somewhat gruff with good intentions.

Appearance:

(You mentioned you needed doctors rather than fighters, so here you go.)

Name
: Val'Nar Gul

Gender: Male

Age: 1525

Race: Vortigaunt

Personality: Vortigaunts never say the word "I" instead always speaking as "We," an example is "We follow, the great one!" even though there is only one Vortigaunt in the area. They are very peaceful and prefer no to kill, unless it is in self-defense.

Appearance:
vortigaunt_by_haddadreef.png

Powers: Vortigaunts believe in the binding force, the Vortessence, that combines all life. Vortessence according to them is the fabric of all that exists.

Since early age, Vortigaunts are trained in the mastery of Vortessence, however no other species is able to reproduce these abilities, Vortigaunts claim that no other race is capable of doing that, as "Those whose vortal cords are impaired, cannot summon the vortessence."

Now to the actual powers, these are:

  • Vortikinesis (The power to manipulate the very fabric of the Universe. It allows to create light, transmutate compounds and turn stuff into other stuff)
  • Wound mending (The power to heal wounds and injuries. While this power is precise and powerful, sometimes it's not the best way to heal people, as it can get slightly out of hand, like growing a bone slightly different than it's supposed to be.)
  • Curing disease (Self-explanatory. Very powerful)
  • Precognition (Allows Vortigaunts to see slightly into the future, by a few seconds or even a minute)
  • Vortishield (Creates a shield that protects the user and\or people around him from danger)
  • Vortiblast (This power allows the Vortigaunts to create a blast of precise, very fast energy that deals second to third degree burns to the body of their enemies)

I don't think we need one as of yet, but if you'd like to bring in a secondary character that's alright too but he'll have to get picked up at the next stop!

I hope you're keeping Jack though, I think he and Edgar are going to have little cat fights hahaha

Yeah I am.

I can RP a LOT of Characters at once, but I prefer not to.

Having too many characters at the same time can easily cause confusion.

Anyway, I suppose he is accepted?

Name: Havard Alders a.k.a JAX

Age: Jax is 37 years of age

Appearance:

038214d5a96c5d757563acc7aeecfcb2.jpg

JAX was once a human. He was the pilot of a valuable cargo ship that was destroyed in the middle of it's voyage by pirates. Since he was the only one found with an intact brain, the buyers of the cargo had his mind trans-formatted into an AI so that he could tell them where the cargo was. He was able to do this and was rewarded with a Mech body. He has since many times changed bodies but the above one is his current body. The body is made of light carbon alloy to allow fast movement and agility. The head of JAX's body contains gyro, speed, temperature, emotion, radiation, and many other kinds of sensors that gives him overall access to whatever current information he may need. JAX is also equipped with a massive update-able data base that gives him information on nearly everything he want's to know.

Race: Android Mech

Personality: Jax is very quiet and seldom talks unless he is asked questions, but on the inside JAX is warm, kind, and an overall good caring person, he just doesn't know how to take part with everyone else. JAX has also never revealed the fact that he is technically an AI android. He has allowed everyone to believe that he has to wear the suit or he would die, when the suit is actually his body. JAX isn't sensitive but he cares for his crew members and would hate their disapproval.

Occupation: JAX is a downloaded cook but also a general helper on the ship. He takes part wherever he is needed due to the fact that his database tells him how to do everything and he can download abilities like piloting a ship or reparing an engine. If anyone needs help with something, JAX is the one to ask.

Skills: As before mentioned JAX can perform nearly any skill but he is limited to the amount he can have at one time. The general limit is 9 downloadable skills. Downloading a skill means that JAX will know how to do it perfectly and know everything about the skill. Afew skills that JAX keeps as mandatory on-hand skills are, Judo, Muy-Thai, Kung-Fu, Marksmanship, Sword dueling, cooking, and piloting. The other two are ones he leaves open to help with.

Extra: JAX's body gives him accelerated abilities including super speed, strength, and reflexes. The body also provides medium protection against projectiles, blasters, and melee damage. The main way to take out JAX is to basically break his head due to the fact that, that is the location of all of his sensors. Anything else will be mentioned in the RP!

Name: Veronica Rosenthal

Appearance: Blond hairs, tall around 1.67m, english accent

Age: 9

Personality: Very sassy, cute, not brave at all

Extra: It's Jack's daughter.

Have you discussed this with Birdsie at all?

Ehhhh, in the nicest way possible... No.

No more characters. If I've closed off for other players joining in, it's not fair to then let everyone have another character. We have a massive cast of big characters already, some of which I've already been lenient with. I don't know where the daughter would fit in right now considering we're in space on a ship.

So from now on, the only person playing with two characters is me. And that is only because this is my roleplay, neither characters are overpowered or particularly skilled. Also I've already stated, a character will be getting dropped and I'll revert to one.

With this, my old character, Drake, dies.

Xenotherium subservilia (Vortigaunt)

Personality

The Vortigaunts in general are a species who never call themselves as "I", they normally use "we" or "this one" to speak.

They have an hierarchy that goes like this:

Youngling: The lowest rank, basically has no powers

They became friends and Gh'ar became a guide in the Vortigaunt's Community. After a vote, the High-Elders decided that Gh'ar, the strongest and wisest, had to be the Prophet. After a ritual, he earned the title, and became the most powerful Vortigaunt. He never uses his powers to harm.
