Kara grinned and looked down at her food to hide it. Then I'll be here to play the good guy. She teased him. She supported his choices but since she often didn't give those types of instructions, she could appear 'the good guy' at times. Not that she meant it that way.

"I won't. I got it. All work." He says again. He didn't particularly care for the cage. But he hated Wade being taught more than him even more. Even if he was the Alpha and Jonathan was only Beta.

 

[Matreania]

Arthur nodded, hiding his chuckled, but Kara would obviously know he was chuckling to himself, even if not out loud, As always are, I love you for that. Arthur sighed, "Hurry up, so we can go, we have a long day and you have twice the work to do as it is."

In response Jonathan moved to stuff and eat as much food as he could as quickly as he could. "Finish with some manners." Kara warns, casting Arthur a sidelong glance. She was smiling a little though. She loved him too much to ever be upset about little things. Such as promoting Jonathan to eat quicker, though Jonathan's lack of manners was his own fault, not Arthur's.

 

[Matreania]

Wade sighed as he finished and smirked, "Hurry up, little pup, or we might just have to keep you out of the cage, for your own safety." he teased.

Arthur glared at him, "Enough, Wade, go get your brace and meet me in the living room." he commanded which annoyed Wade as he growled and got up. Arthur finish and sighed, I'm not sure which I want to smack first, the oldest for his attitude or the youngest for his stubbornness.

Kara laughed quietly at that. Why don't you give them both a smack for good measure. She suggests with a smirk. She looked to Jonathan who was just finishing.
"What would you like me to do father?" He asks.

 

[Matreania]

Arthur looked at him and sighed, "Get your book and brace and meet me in the living room." he told him. They each had a brace, to wear on their wrist. He had told them it was to help him keep track of them, but he never let them leave home without putting them on. The braces were bless, only Kara and he knew it, it kept them each linked to a wolf in the Elite and most importantly a closer connection so Arthur knew when his children were in a life threatening situation. Which as little puppies, they both seemed to nearly be in when they got out of their mother's sight. It was for that reason that even now, they couldn't leave home without the brace that he had them wear.

Jonathan nodded and hopped to his feet, racing to his room to grabbwhat his father had instructed. Once he was gone Kara laughed. "Oh my love, I do hope you don't regret having both of them at the cage with you again." She says with a grin.

 

[Matreania]

Arthur sighed, "As do I." he said as he got up to help his wife clear the table. "Last night after you went to bed I went to patrol." he began to explain as he helped, "I caught the scent of a shifter." he told her. She knew of the shifters before, she knew he had let them go when he was Wade's age against his father's orders and she knew that the shifters had nearly destroyed the Moonlight pack. "I followed it just outside of our territory before the sun started to rise." he sighed deeply, "Wade isn't even an Elite yet, he is no where near as ready as I had been and we barely survived the last time."

Kara looked to him in worry. "He is young but he is powerful Arthur. He may surprise you...they both would." She says but then she hesitated. "Maybe it won't be like last time. Arthur there is so much damage and harm that they can cause us, even with the elite." She was scared. She had lost her parents in that attack. "Is there anything I can do to help?" She asks.

 

[Matreania]

Arthur sighed, looking at her, "Stay close. If nothing else, I can't lose you. Maybe they are stronger then I give them credit, but I need them to be smarter then I was. I let them go, my father was right. I should never had shown them mercy, I should have killed them all, like I was told." he placed the dishes in the sink and leaned against it, "We have their scent, we are stronger then they are, as long as we catch them before they shift into something different. We just have to catch them before the shift into anything else." He looked at her, "I will protect you and our sons with this pack if I have to. I hope it's not like last time. I'm setting up a few trips to several other packs, you and I will go and if anything happens, I need you to stay with the pack we are with. I will come back alone, for now, we will just go to make sure they are ready if we need them. We won't fight these shifters alone, not this time."

Kara nodded and bit her lip, moving to him and hugging him tight. "I hope it doesn't come to that. I can try lose you either Arthur, but I will do as you say to help you as best I can." She says. She looked up at him and lightly kissed his lips. "Will you tell the boys? Or at least Wade?" She asks him.

 

[Matreania]

Arthur sighed, "For now, I'll wait. Wade knows something is there and I know about it, but that is all he knows." he gave a humorless chuckled, "Is it silly to thing I rather not tell them, just because they think I never made a mistake?"

Kara smiled and kissed his lips. "A little bit. It's okay to make mistakes. I know you'd disagree with that particular one but it did help you to understand and learn." She says. She sighed some. "I think waiting to tell them is best. Because I don't want either of our boys to do something rash. They will also need to understand why showing no mercy in these situations is important." She added.

 

[Matreania]

Arthur smirked, "I did." he said, before he kissed her, "I love you, Kara. I know you can't feel it like I feel what you do for me, but I wish you could. Sometimes." he said turning and wrapping his arms around her as he held her close, "Being Alpha sucks." he chuckled, kissing her. When he pulled away he placed his forehead on hers, "Sometimes, I just want to be like other wolves, so I can focus more on you, like I want to and your desire to be."

Kara smiled gently. "I wish it too. But you are Alpha and I am so proud of you and the work you've done Arthur. You are wonderful at what you do and no one could do it better. There will come antime when Wade takes over and you can Ben abnormal wolf then. But until then I will support you." She says.

 

[Matreania]

Arthur smiled at her, looking in her eyes for a moment, before he felt both boys in the living room. He sighed, closing his eyes for a moment, "You are more amazing then I deserve." He looked at her again. He pulled away after a moment and sighed, "I'll be back when I can. If anything happens, lock the door and I will be here, just call me."

Kara smiled, nodding in understanding. Then she grinned more and pulling him close by his shirt to kiss his lips. "I just needed one to go. I love you, try not to let them kill eachother." She teased as she let him go so he could get to their sons before something started.

 

[Matreania]

Arthur smiled, "I promise to bring them back in nearly perfect condition." He chuckled, kissing her forehead before leaving the kitchen.

Wade smiled at Johnathan, "You are going to drown in so much paperwork. There is no way you'll get through all of that in one day."

Jonathan frowned. "Just because you never could doesn't mean I can't." He retorted. "I'll get through it." He says with far more confidence than he felt. He was anxious about it and not being able to get everything done.

 

[Matreania]

Wade chuckled, "I don't have to get through history work. I have seen it and it's far from easy." He looked at Johnathan, "I promise to tell mother you love her, when you don't get back. Just because I'm an awesome big brother."

Jonathan rolled his eyes. "Good, I appreciate it. But I'll be making it back thank you very much." Jonathan says with a smirk. "Especially because not only will I get the work done but I'll get to enjoy watching father kick your ass." He adds.

 

[Matreania]

Wade glared at him, "You will be sorely disappointed little brother. Not only will I actually hit him. I'll lick him down." He assured him but got quiet when Arthur came in the room.

Arthur sighed, looking at both his sons, "Alright you two. Tell your mother but and let's go." He said.

Wade smirked as he rushed back in the kitchen, hugging Kara, "See you later, mother. I love you and promise to behave." He said, beating Johnathan. He was just faster, speed was part of what was different between being Alpha born and being a Beta trainee. He smirked and kissed her cheek before letting go to go back to the living room, giving Johnathan a mischievous smirk, as he passed him.

Kara laughed a little and hugged Wade back, watching as he left and Jonathan came.
Jonathan glared at Wade and then smiled at his mother. "Bye, love you." He says, hugging her and smiling more when she hugged him back.

"Try to behave. I know you can get all your work done if you focus." She says gently. Jonathan smiled and nodded before pulling away to join Wade and Arthur.

 

[Matreania]

Arthur had the door open and motioned both boys out before following behind them. "Might as well let you have a try, Johnathan." Arthur stated.

Wade looked at Arthur, "Really?" Then he chuckled, "I don't think he could pass a test to join the Elite. He is way too small." He teased, messing up Johnathan's hair.

Arthur sighed, "I was talking about the Beta force, but if he wants, he will have to join the Elite at some point."

Wade looked confused, "Really?"

Arthur sighed, "The Beta has to be stronger then the Beta Force and joining the Elite for a while is the last stage of their combat training. Just like joining the Elite is the last of yours."

Wade sighed, "So what is the goal stage of my Alpha training?"

Arthur smirked at both his sons, "Beating me."

Jonathan smirked. "At least I can admit that I won't beat him this time. I won't hurt my pride like you when he beats you today." Jonathan says to Wade. He then looked to Arthur. "When would my Beta Force training start?" He asks. He was thrilled to know that he could still train with the Elite.
