Sarah barked and nipped at his ears she kicked and knocked his feet out from under him pouncing up she got on top of him now pinning him she licked water that fell from her face naturally over and over her fur was laid down now and she set her ears back to make sure water didn't get in them her fur half covered her eyes and she shook off all the water droplets caught light and shimmered along with her fur making it light up with all the colors of the rainbow she tilted her head up and howled

Caleb watched her and felt aomwthing in him flutter, it took flight and instantly he grew alightly flustered. Do I.. have feelings for her..? He thought to himself in surprise. The wolf shook it off and relaxed beneath the other darker one, closing his eyes and joining her howl with another deeper one of his own. Their voices harmonized eerily together, a perfect song. When they finished Caleb opened his eyes and looked up at her, giving her muzzle a small, experimental lick.

Sarah blinked and stared at him if she where in human form she would be blushing she backed off him and tilted her head down looking up at him in a way that looked as if she was shy when it came to relationships she got out of the pond and shook off shifting back to her human form as the sun began going down she was now extremely cold but didn't show it

In his human form, Caleb's eyebrows wouls be furrowed in a perplexed manner, ut as a wolf he just looked slightly confused. But he got out anyway and shook himself dry, and, not really wanting to ahoft back yet he padded over and lay down facing the water. Caleb glanced at her and noticed she was cold, so he tapped the soft grass beside him for her to sit down, offering his warm fur to help her out.

Sarah glanced to him and hesitated then glanced around and walked over sitting next to him she was blushing hard and would not make eye contact her hair fell in front of her face hiding her pale green eyes

Caleb scooted back so he could wrap halfway around her, his tail curled on her left side while his muzzle rested on her right leg. He watched the waterrippling softly from the light breeze and closed his eyes, relishing the incredible feeling of the air in his fur.

Sarah blinked and shivered a little she looked down to him and hesitantly placed a hand on his head petting behind his ear she fixed her hair with the other hand

Caleb leaned into her hand slightly, letting a low growl of pleasure rumble from within him. He in turn licked her leg as a way of thanks, and continued to growl softly. Caleb's tail lightly brushed her other side, flicking up in down in his contentment

Sarah pet him and when he brushed her side she squeaked and giggled a bit moving away from his tail " That tickles "

He did it again, making her move farther from his tail and closer to the rest of his body. Caleb huffed lightly, breathing a puff of air onto her leg and pushing his muzzle into her hand, he licked it lightly.

Sarah squeaked again and felt his breath on her leg which made her shudder and jump up and move away the sun was almost all the way down and the cold night air made her shiver she headed towards the direction of the car

With a whine at her leaving, Caleb scrambled up and shifted quickly, hurrying after her. "Sarah? Where are you-wait, wait don't go!" He had to put on some speed, but he caught up and grabbed her arm and stopped her, turning her around. "Wait wait, slow down, why did you leave? We were having fun." Caleb said quietly, his bare chest lifting up and down slowly from the small exertion they'd just had. He looked down at her with a slightly worried expression, and gently took hold of her other arm.

Sarah kept her head down looking at her shoes as the moon began to rise her night vision made it to where she could still see even thought it was dark out now " Its nothing, it doesn't matter...I want to go home " she said to him and shivered she wished she had her jacket and shoes so he wouldn't be so cold her hair was still damp making it twice as cold for her

Caleb made a slightly pained face and dropped his arms, nodding, he quickly covered it up and pushed ahead of her, walking at a swift pace till he got to the car. Caleb reached in the backseat and tossed her his hoodie without a word before climbing in and starting the car.


"Where do I drop you."


He said, voice somewhat strained as he spoke out of clenched teeth. Caleb kept his hands on the wheel and his eyes ahead, avoiding her gaze.

Sarah walked slowly behind him till they got to the car when he tossed her his hoodie she wrapped it around her shoulders hesitantly then got in the car " Just down by the old theater, I can get home from there " she shivered as she buckled up the hoodie wasn't as thick as her jacket and also didn't have the rabbit fur on the inside but she didn't want to tell him that nor did she want him to see

He pulled out and drove quickly, not speaking on the drive but relaxing slightly. Caleb always found that driving was almost as good as running in the forest. When they arrived at the theater he stopped and unlocked her door, stalling the car.


"If you didn't want it you could've juat taken it off."


Caleb said, referring to the hoodie and holding out a hand for it.

Sarah threw him the hoodie and reached back into the backseat grabbing her things then she got out of the cad and put on her jacket, socks and shoes then stood in front of the theater waiting ng for him to drive away she didn't want him to know where she actually lived she yawned

The moment she closed the door Caleb sped off, not looking back, and only qhen he'd turned a corner did he let put hia frustration. He slammed on the brakes and ahut off the engine. Still shirtless, Caleb shifted there on the road and immediatly took off into the alley behind the theater.

Sarah sighed and began walking towards the woods slowly she glanced aroud a lot and state out of the street lamp light once she got to the woods she pushed some bushes and revealed a small path following it she finally got to the abandoned trailer house and went inside the scent of maple leaves, honeysuckle and wet summer moss, her natural smell, hung everywhere mixed with the scent of meat she had a whole rack of deer ribs hanging inside she closed the door quietly and put her things away then ate a bit of the ribs

He was upset, angry, had he done something wrong? Was she mad at him? Why the fuck did he even care? Caleb growled and clawed at the ground furioualy and decided he wanted something to eat. Lifting his nose, the wolf followed the scent of deer, fresh, delicious and tempting. Soon enough Caleb broke into a run, until the deer scent mixed with a familiar one, making him stop. He peered around a bush to see an old trailer, and, sure enough, that was Sarah's scent wafting from the door.

Sarahe's trailer used to be white but was dirty and had black spots on it along with yellow from mildew stains she finished eating and yawned she noticed her water supply was almost gone and she sighed then grabbed a bucket and left she glanced a round again and took of sprinting to a small creek she began filing the bucket quickly

Caleb watched her leave from the shelter of the bushes and saw his chance, this way he wouldn't have to confront her. The wolf daahed forward and leaped into the trailer, jumping and tearing off a few ribs. Caleb couldn't resist, he had to eat one, his mouth was watering. So he paused on the trailer floor and dug in ferociously.

Sarah finished getting the water and rushed back she stopped outside the trailer and smelled someone in the trailer she couldn't recinize it because of how much the place smelled like her and she growled " Get out! Now! "

Caleb spun, eyes wide and flinched away from her harsh voice, growling nervously at her. Shit, he hadn't ment to get caught, he glanced from the door, to her, to the meat and back abain. Amongst the panic Caleb shifted involuntarily and backed up against the far wall of the trailer, tucking his knees to his chest and holding shaking hands in front of his face. "I-I'm sorry I was hungry, a-and mad and I didn't know why you left and, and, and..." He winced at his pathetic tone and abruptly stopped talking.

Sarah blinked seeing it was Caleb she furrowed her eyebrows " What are you doing here? " she asked going inside and setting the bucket was before she began covering certain things up with animals skins
