Fantasy Monster Cafe

Ray burst into giggles at the sight of all the ridiculousness happening. Despite the ferocious roars of Wolfgang, he didn't flinch once. In fact, he was rather relaxed. Once everyone hurried away, he moved over to his own table and set out a laptop. It wasn't the absolute best, but it worked well enough for him at least. As soon as it was finished starting up, he waved at the two waiters by Wolfgang. "Heyyy, could someone get me something? Do you guys happen to have live food?"

He fell into another small laughing fit at Xeren's challenge, but said nothing.

"Sorry about that, Sir." Sarya said apologetically, coming over to his table. "Live food? Yes, we have all manner of things... birds, small mammals, fish, what were you hungering for?" She requested, pulling out a little notepad and a pen while she tried to ignore the annoyance at Xeren offering to fight Patrick.

"Also, is there anything I can get you to drink, while I'm at it? Aspen makes wonderful coffees, lattes, cappuccinos, and all manner of specialty drinks as well." She offered, her pen poised and ready to write down whatever it was he requested.

(Putting this where everyone will see it but would you dears mind at all if we did a time skip of a few hours into the day at all? Let me know in the out of character tab and I'll get rid of this message after!)

He made a humming noise as he thought for a second. "A rabbit please! And...simple black coffee, in that case. I don't care much for anything else. Thanks!"

Sarya gave the two mouthed monster a small bow before pulling herself up into the rafters to avoid the rest of the foot traffic on the ground. She set the brewer to start, not seeing Aspen around, and went into the back storage to fetch a rabbit, settling the creature into a small cage. She took to the roof, lowering the cage on a string from her webbing until it settled in front of the boy, and then went to check on the coffee. She had delivered that to him as well, a few minutes later, before realizing she had utterly failed in being a proper server.

"I apologize Sir, I meant to mention my name is Sarya and I'll be caring for you tonight." She said, feeling rather upset that she had forgotten to mention that earlier. Names were very important here, and were one of the first connecting lines to making bonds with customers so that first time comers had a larger possibility of becoming regulars. "If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to summon me. I'll be back later to check on you." Sarya said, before bustling away to go sulk over her memory lapse.

Sarya, huh? As she walked off, he quickly called out, "Thank you Sarya!" Ray opened the cage and scooped up the rabbit, admiring it for a second before dropping it onto his lap. With a slurping sound, his other mouth reeled it in and made short work of it as he began doing whatever it was that he was doing on his computer.

An hour or so passes with a few customers coming into the shop but nothing significant happens until now. The cafe door slams open, a very pink dog like thing bouncing in. Jeremy perks up immediately at seeing her and slithers over to her, arms wide open for a hug. "Heya Minnie!" He greets cheerfully before staring at her stomach warily"Hello mouth..." Minnie jumps into his arms excitedly, tail wagging behind her, some of her goop getting on the floor. "Oh Jeremy! Hi! Mouth says hello too! He also asks what you've been using on your scales cause you taste differently." The girl says bluntly, Jeremy letting go of her instantly and retreating behind a booth."Boss your niece is here and her stomach wants to eat me again!" he shrieked.

Wolfgang bounded past everyone and picked Minnie up, spinning her around in the air "Hello there my little Minnie Mouth!" he gushed, bringing her face to his, the pair of them rubbing noses together and wagging their tails in their greeting. Minnie throwing her arms around the large mans shoulders in a hug "Uncle Wolfgang!"

Vlad smirks at the sight of Wolfgang wagging his tail "adorable." He says quietly enough that only someone with dog-like hearing could hear.

At Jeremy's shriek, Nicholas is immediately on his feet. He'd gotten to an interesting part of his book and the earlier madness with the newest monster's entry hadn't caught his attention, but Jeremy had... and Nicholas' eyes quickly scanned the crowd to figure out what was going on. Seeing the snake hiding behind a booth, he was quickly at the man's side, expression full of concern.

"Jeremy, what's going on? Are you alright?" He was completely oblivious to the adorably sentimental moment going on between the half wolf and the full wolf, his attention only on Jeremy.

Wilhelm woke up from his nap to see Wolfgang and niece hugging each other, "Hey Wolfgang take it easy. Hug her any tighter and you might hurt the poor thing."

He glanced up from his laptop, nearly burning himself on his second drink. Ray sat up on his knees to get a better look, curious as to what exactly Wolfgang's niece was. Certainly dog-like, but...that was goo and a second mouth like his. Nothing he'd ever really seen, beyond his extended family. Nonetheless, he waved at her anyway with a huge grin on both mouths since at his position she could hopefully see him.

Mmmmm~" the chef walked out of the freezer "yawwwwn ahhh what a lovely lovely nap, hm..." sees this bouncing, goo like thing. "Hay ugh what's going on guys" he itches his head removing some shards of ice from himself.

Jeremy nodded, tense as he continued staring at the two wolves. "Yeah I'm good just um well there was an incident where I wrapped too tight around the little princess and well... she has a stomach mouth so I mean it bit me and I think the damn thing wants to either freak me out or actually taste my flesh again!" he shuddered "I love little Minnie to death but that damn thing is creepy! You be careful when you hug her!" the Lamia grimaced at the thought of it. "Still though it's always nice to see the boss with Minnie, they're adorable together!" he laughed, eyes never moving from where the girls stomach was located.

Wolfgang growled and glared at Vlad "Just shut up will ya?" he asked, clearly not happy with the other interrupting his time with his niece. Minnie didn't appreciate it much either, turning in her uncles grasp to face the vampire herself, glaring slightly but it was her stomach that did all the talking for her as it bared it's large fangs, made a motion like it was eating something before then licking it's lips.

Aspen had been preparing a hot chocolate when the slam of the door made her jump. Recovering, she saw a pink blur pass run around the cafe, bouncing from Jeremy to Wolfgang in a flash. She knew that little fluffy hurricane anywhere. "Minnie! I forgot you were coming today dear!" The nymph smiled as she paused her work to come out from behind the counter. Gently, she picked a soft pink flower from a pot, whispering to it as she passed. She was about to offer the flower when she saw the apparent distress between Vlad and Minnie's rather terrifying stomach.

On second thought....let's greet the little one when her mouth isn't quite so hungry.

What's happening out here, and who's hungry??" The chef asked yawning after just waking up, he shook his head of the last ice cubes. "Who knew fridges where good places for naps..." he yawned once more

"I am!" Ray stood up and stretched, his back popping loudly as he did so. "Ow...probably shouldn't sit so still for so long." As he glanced around the place to see what he must have missed while he was working in his own little world, he noticed Naisha and Livi staying away from all the fun of Minnie's arrival. Naisha in particular caught his eye, with how unenthused his expression was. Looks like someone needed to learn to have fun. He walked over and rested himself on the table, careful to give Livi space. "So, what's going on over here, hm?" Livi's crayon scribblings caught his eye, and he gave her a grin as he examined her work. "That looks great! You like to draw?"

Nicholas watched while the wolf girl's second mouth made a face at the vampire and fought the urge to hide behind Jeremy as well.

"I uh... don't plan on hugging her. Ever." He whispered. He took a step closer and wrapped his arms around Jeremy's shoulders. "I reserve my hugs for you, anyway." He said. Honesty, when he didn't have a significant other, Nicholas wasn't much of the 'touchy feely' sort... he really wasn't fond of hugs on the best of days.

"She's not actually going to eat you, though, right? Because... I mean... besides that I'd miss you, a lot of the patrons would too. She's make a lot of enemies that way..."

"Napping in a fridge... Well, I suppose it'd be quiet. Are you not bothered by the cold?" Sarya asked, coming down from the rafters where she had been watching the scene below and helping serve the customers that required service.

@the lick

Sarya!" He smiled as he took her hand, kissing up it. He was still a little but cold yet his lips where still the warmest thing about him.

He kisses up to her neck before heading galloping and horse winning. He smiles "ahh herald is here"

Sarya giggled, a dark flush spreading across her cheeks at the treatment, appreciating that Xeren was cool but not cold. She tilted her in curiosity when she heard the horse steps as well, her hand moving down to slip into Xeren's as she moved a little behind him. She wasn't entirely sure what it was about Herald but he scared her... perhaps it was the pumpkin head that could be removed... but something about him just didn't seem right. "Yay... Herald is here..." Sarya murmured, attempting to put some cheer into her voice.

Herald strolled up on his undead horse, diablos who had pulled a cart with him. He then got off the horse, and tied him to the side of the cafe.

"Okay...lamb....mince....chicken...honey.....tuna ...sushi....soi sauce" he begun to check all the things he had, marking each thing down on a long, list.

"Hi Herald. Lovely day." Sarya said, moving behind Xeren more until he was between Sarya and Herald. Sarya played this off by wrapping her arms around Xeren's chest in a backwards hug.

"That's quite a list of food. Are you really going to need all of that, Xeren?" She was just attempting to make conversation at this point so that she stopped paying attention to Herald.

Xeren looked, he was amused by her reaction to herald. Not so much in a mean way, but more in a sympathetic way. "Yes Sarya, winter is coming and meats are popular this part of the year, after all think" he went into a fantasy world as 'curries, stews and soups' by, he drooled "sooooo much good food"

Herald laughed at xeren, they where like brothers as both loved food. There points where different however: xeren liked to cook and serve food, herald just ...like to stuff his belly.
