There has been many RPs that are similiar to each other in some aspects. But, never the same thing. However, I totes understand that making a similar RP to this with using a Disney University and same characters would be copying since Hessie had this idea first But, because most of us didn't want this RP to die with this idea and was afraid Hessie wouldn't come back, some of us wanted to restart it once more. However, maybe giving just a week wasn't considerate because this is Hessie's RP , but none of us had the idea or intention of taking over someone else's RP. Again, we thought it would be a good idea to make another RP that way we can keep in contact with each other by using the same ideas yet tweaking some ideas around so that it can fit the purpose of this current RP when Hessie gets back.
Since we were very excited on RPing again we were getting excited on posting and having chataxyers interact once more, it made it seem as if we were mowing over Hessie's idea. No one is wrong and no one is right.
Since this RP is on pause since we are waiting on Hessie, we can always have everyone transfer over to a new RP without this similar concept with the resort and magic. That way we can avoid copying or stealing ideas and Hessie would not feel offended or if people feel as if we hadn't considered her feelings as well or if she feels that way .
Then there's also the idea that, we are not intentionally copying Hessie's idea because we want to use it as our own, but instead have Another thread where chataxyers can interact with each other in a similar setting without ruining the flow of Hessie's chataxyer and leaving her out of the picture. Since most of the chataxyers are chatting with Hessie's character. So it's mostly a waiting game. When there's a waiting game involved many people tend to lost interest and would rather not wait. To avoid that, the idea of having another thread that is of Hessie's idea and concept would be used. Except Nessie would be using her own ideas of how the university and classes would be like.
So I feel like we shouldn't argue about this but like @Inritz and @AlwaysYours suggested I think that's a good idea. GUYS IDEA IDEA.
How about.... DIFFERENT TIME SETTINGS? If we want to have a new RP but not leave Hessie out, why not have the resort as a getaway from the university? So basically the resort idea is branched off of this idea where the two RP intermingled with another?
Okay to make more sense. Since this school is on paused. Why not have the RP resort idea be the place where our chataxyers relax and enjoy themselves without worrying about school and such? That way we can always RP in these two threads without ruining the flow of anything? And if chataxyer relationships happen in the resort it can be transferred over?
And if we are waiting on someone to respond on this thread there can also be involvements where you can post in the resort thread ?
