She has been told by her parents that she was beautiful since she was a little girl, and that has given her an extreme amount of confindence in her apperance.

Adelaide is a charming and witty girl, however she does have a short temper. She is a bit of a snob, as she had been raised in luxury, though she is not a bad person. She is kind to her servants, and she has a high respect for them, as her father grew up poor, and her mother's family had lost most of her fortune after the Civil War. She knows her parents have had to work in life, so she has a high respect of those who do. She can be insensitive and at times too blunt. Her mother often scolds her when she is too blunt or sounds too rude. She is outspoken and vivacious and she enjoys voicing her opinion and debating.

Adelaide, growing up in a family of brothers, has become quite active and slightly rowdy. Her parents encouraged her to speak freely with her family and never hide anything. Adelaide was often encouraged to express herself, and still has a tendancy to do so. She was taught to be a lady at a private girls school. She now acts like a lady, but still has some of her tomboyish qualities from when she was a little girl. She is anxious to burst into British society and become a titled American. She is very energetic and likes to ride horses as a way of getting the energy out.

Adelaide is the youngest child and only daughter of Augustus Findlay Sr. and Elinor Findlay (nee Clark). Her father grew up poor and, with the Gilded Age, he started a factory and quickly rose. He married Elinor, a Southerner who's family had been ruined by the Civil War. Elinor's parents weren't thrilled, but they were glad that they would be supported by Augustus' money. She was born at her family's home in Newport, Rhode Island, and spent her childhood between there and New York. She grew up close to her brothers, Augustus 'Augie' Findlay Jr., Clark Findlay and Ambrose Findlay. Her family was very close and Augustus and Elinor encouraged their children to be free spirited and free thinkers.

Since she was a little girl, Adelaide liked the idea of becoming a duchess or a countess and, after hearing about the American women travelling to England and becoming duchesses and countesses, begged her parents to take her to marry into the aristocracy. They saw this as a good idea, as they wanted Adelaide to be presented as a lady, but would not be able to, as the Findlay's were classified as new money, and, they were therefore shunned by New York society. Her mother soon took her to London to be presented as a lady and they were soon joined by her father.​

Her skin has a slight honey tone, which can cause her to stand out amongst the crowd of aristocrats. Which is not to say that is bad, she tends to easily find suitors because of it. Overall she is a rather curvy girl, whilst wearing her corset almost religiously. Vera is all about simplistic styles with daring fabrics, therefore, she has very small but important detailing all throughout her dresses. Preferring to have her hair in a half up half down style as well as curled. She will also almost always be found with a silver locket around her neck.

  Vera grew up in a house of creativity. Her father a measly toy maker in a tiny shop that was based in Virginia. People say that her family’s wealth came out of nowhere but if they knew the family they would know it took many generations to get them to where they were today. When her father's business started taking off he branched out into other kinds of trade such as furs and real estate.In the end the Callan name became a household name in America. By the age of 10 is when her family’s business started to take off and her mother put her into finishing school to be in her words “fit for marriage”. Long story short while passing the school, she never really passed with flying colors.

She can often come off as childish and slightly immature, as her way of thinking that everyone can be trusted and her black and white view of the world is completely wrong, however, she is much smarter than she is given credit for. She enjoys reading and is actually very good at math, an unlikely skill people would think she would have. She often surprises people with how smart she actually is. She has a good sense of humor and always enjoys a good laugh.

Bio (2 paragraphs, at least): Her mother, Evelyn Griggs (nee Boyle) died while giving birth to birth to Arabelle. Her father Timothy Griggs was devastated, but raised his daughter with tender care and affection. He gave her all she could want, but still made sure she was humble and caring towards others. She grew up rather lonely, without any brothers or sisters. As a result, she always looks forward to meeting new people, and hopefully making a new friend.

Since she was a little girl, she like the idea of being able to call herself a lady. Her father, knowing the doors of New York society would be slammed in their face for being new money, took her to England in hopes of being presented and being able to be accepted in New York society. Arabelle was thrilled at the prospect. Since her presentation to London society, she has been going to many balls and parties in hopes of meeting a husband.​

She is 5'2'', is 110 lbs, and, despite her small stature, Lolly has an athletic build with small but firm muscles. Lo rocks a mean red lip when she can get away with it, often has a dewy and sparkling complexion, and accentuates her wide round eyes with mascara and a slight wing to make them look even more doll-eyed. Her dresses often harbor a frilly or lace trim, as do her stockings covered by black and polished, buckled and heeled boots. Her dresses are, in the night time, made of satin and accompanied by shawls or buttoned jackets. In the day time, they are light and airy, with black lace and ribbons. But altogether they are subtly ornate and whimsical, with dark colors often peeking out behind the fabric.


The way she carries herself practically screams darlingly, charmingly imposing. She hides her easily-made callouses with lace fingerless gloves so as not to attract unwanted attention and her bright British accent slips into the gentle purrs of Italian and French from time to time. Her mass of unruly curls are often left to fly when at home, held loosely by a colorful ribbon or two that has become wrapped around her thin wrist by brunch time. Her love of gardens shows tremendously as bunches of flowers and flower crowns find themselves threaded through her locks. However, when out on the streets, Lolotte shields these tresses with bonnets and hats that are, on rare occasions, coated in lace and flowers. Her curls are held back with pins and clips into a shaggy bun.


Lolotte displays an infectious sense of vigor that attracts even the most stony of suitors. Her cultured tongue and zany expressions have kept many of her brother's candidates entertained, yet that same wile has also shoo'ed many of them away before they've even gotten a word in with her brothers. She is the final say, the duchess of her household, and it is rumored that with her ambition and cunning looks that she will inherit most of the family riches... If she ever marries, that is.

Lo is very competitive, clever, witty, and loves hanging out with winners, but enjoys even more the company of people who have both earned her trust and manage keep her on her toes. She can be mirthfully brash and sarcastic to people she likes, not really one to beat around the bush unless she's particularly crafty or wants to get her way with something. She only feels wickedly playful with those she knows very well, keeping a bubbly, curious-driven, and only somewhat ego-maniacal persona for most people. Oftentimes, Lolotte has an air of craftiness when dealing with people, adoring challenges presented to her. Along that vein, she is intelligent, able to learn information quickly by paying very close attention and hardly anything else; read it twice, recite it once, practice twice and she's set. She is also very witty, taking so many jabs at people she loves that it can border on annoying to others around her.


Lo has an ambitious, adventurous flair to go with her fiery and imaginative way of thinking, able to rock wearing a potato sack due to her undoubting confidence, and has hardly any care with strangers. With strangers, though she shows little consideration regarding her interests and quirks, she can be a bit untrusting if a stranger is said by the few she trusts to be particularly unsavory. She'll still have her swagger, but it has an undertone of wariness. Due to her upbringing, she has adopted an inflated self-esteem that will appear subtly to even new-comers. Yet in contrast to her high opinion on herself, Lolotte is infallibly, nearly unquestioningly loyal to those she trusts. With these people, she is a total bossy control-freak and a needy game-player, her clever nature boosted to the max. Luckily for her, those traits are paired quite usefully with her quick-thinking and her lion heart.


Lo is full of passion, putting her all into the things that she adores - such as morbidity, music and literature - and she does so unabashedly, a poetic soul hungering for beauty at her core. Lolotte has mastered a delicate balance of being charmingly at ease and not far behind on varying situations, only getting worked up by things she truly really cares about for fear of her waterworks taking control. This is all while she exerts her control-freak tendencies subtly over time that only those who know her well pick up on it. Despite this, Lo has learned very quickly to shut up around certain individuals, and pelt others with her endless questions. Curiosity has always been her forte, and her patience with learning helps. Listening before acting, Lolotte is able to give good advice once she gets adequate details of the predicament. She appears very understanding and nurturing, like a sister of sorts, and her stubbornness to see or make good things in various situations spreads as a mildly positive, if not good-natured, influence.


Sadly, Lo has always had trouble reigning in her emotions, bursting into tears at the slightest raise of a person's voice or hand. She is highly protective and vulnerable once she becomes emotionally invested in a person, but that doesn't mean she'd let that stop her; pride is her game but is not meant to be confused with jealousy because she's genuinely assuaged with the confidence that she is irreplaceable to the people she loves. Despite her water works, Lolotte is learning how to back out of a fight no matter how protective she is of her pride and people. Key word: learning. Lolly has learned how to start and stop arguments with equal swiftness, and uses her silver tongue to her advantage; she can cut someone down a peg only to build them back up again, and her bluffs are wildly good. She's a persistent little pest, with her demanding voice constantly twisting words and charming others, quite the cunning self-proclaimed princess. Lolotte isn't one for giving up easily, and will do what she feels is necessary to get things done, but no more if it conflicts with her good neutral/neutral alignment of morality.


Lo usually has a very adventurous, easily adaptive way of going about, very relaxed in posture and light on her feet. It pairs wonderfully with her clever intellect. She struts subconsciously, leaning back with confidence and fiddling with her clothes when around people who interest her. She's a bit of a tease and can be a huge flirt without even noticing, struggling to take relationships seriously, but her loyalty to those who know her completely and handle her well is well-worth the wait to takes for her to be her own brand of serious. If she is really captivated by a person, she leans forward to hear them clearly, often with her hands on her hips or shoved in her pockets. When out and about in foreign places, she usually takes on a "don't mess with me" walk, putting one foot over the other as if they each weighed as much as the shoes on her feet cost, and holding her chin high whilst avoiding eye contact; your stereotypical swagger.


Lolotte is the kind of person who would cheerfully blabber on about morbid curiosities should she be given the opportunity without consequences; such wish-wash feelings on death was just how she was raised, and she taught herself to be analytical about the little details of those ill-fated accidents. Lolly adores those morbid details about death and its just as dark subject matters: illness, crime, the occult, mental disorders, etc. She has an endless fascination with cadavers and crime, writing many a poem on such subjects of terror and Consulting experts on occult knowledge. She can relate with these dark things in the sense that, in order to get exactly what you want, a few things have to be sacrificed. She keeps these fascinations secret, for scandals arise much too easily, and often sends letters to experts anonymously with the address to an abandoned rich house she visits regularly to read and write in their now-thriving garden.

(NOTE: It is purely optional to read all of this. Only read the underlined paragraphs for knowledge on Lolotte's current activities. I have developed this character extensively and apologize profusely for the length of this bio.)


Lo's New Yorkian father was heavily involved with New York's gambling and drug cartel scene and her Italian mother was a politically-entrenched Lady born into a very wealthy family, so they were more than well-off. The children were Domenico, Lolotte, Liselotte, Santiago, twins Mauricio and Mateo, and Emiliano from oldest to youngest.


However, the family was definitely far from happy. The father, Gio, was far from subtle at hiding his affairs and the mother, a woman perpetually unaware of her inner and outer beauty, ruined herself by drinking to forget her husband's infidelity. Both parents became too engrossed in their own pile of misery that they deluded themselves into thinking that showering their children with the latest trending gifts would repay the love they neglected to give. Her mother, Camilla, was a bit more careless than her father, taking the children to whatever place they wished and leaving them there, but neither parent ever listened very well to the children's worry for their parents. Instead, they developed an ill habit of abusing their children. Both parents never warmed up to having children, and they had enough trouble keeping themselves intact to listen to their kids' whining. Children were to be seen, not heard. After greeting the guests, the children were locked in rooms and forced to keep the youngest ones quiet when parties began. If they uttered a peep or a few of the children attempted to reported the father's infidelity to their mother, the older children were beaten by father and the younger ones locked away by mother. Constantly at least two of them were forgotten at places whenever they went out, and took many taunts and hits by the pair for "straggling behind". In an attempt to get their mother out of her haze, the children destroyed bottles of liquor when they were alone in the house. That provoked both parents' ire and none of them ate for a week. They never did it again. Their parents would gripe about how each of the children were unwanted, dead weight, and stopped them from achieving their fullest potential. They were full-on narcissists and manipulators.


One night, when the abuse became too much, the more assertive of the children - twelve year old Domenico, eleven year old Lolotte, and ten year old Santiago - ran away. They lived on the streets for two years, taking care of each other and evading the poor workhouse adoption system for as long as they could. When they did eventually get caught, it was hard to find a home for them three because of their ages and the fact that they didn't want to be broken apart.


When Domenico was about to turn fifteen, they were adopted by a passing couple, a theatre director and a marchioness. The three were taken to their new home in Europe, and given a better life. They were seemingly less well off than before, but in a much better environment. They were always taught to question for clarity, and their adoptive parents tried their best to cater to the damaged children's psyche's, but could never fully heal their souls. The three remained reliant on each other and distrustful of others for years. They showed signs of PTSD, anxiety disorders, and a raw independence from living neglected for so long, the two eldest especially. Domenico and Lolotte refused to get too deep on the traumas they suffered at their biologic parents' hands, or what little they knew of the business their parents were in, yet the two gorged themselves on the scarce information they collected. Occasionally, if given enough attention, Lo would crack in a teary waterfall of emotion, which the parents never did attempt to discourage. As expected, crying became her main emotion outlet, and it worked effectively to drown out her anger as a teen. Domenico, on the other hand, was as steady as a stone for months on end. It was only when his relationship with the parents became more comfortable did he blow his fuse at the dinner table, expressing a volatile temper untampered with. Santiago tagged along for the ride, but was much more compliant in answering their adoptive parents' questions with an enviously serene disposition. They all were watched heavily by their keen adoptive mother, but she never was too good in helping her children deal with their problems - so the abuse symptoms never really were handled correctly aside from frequent showering of love and acceptance.


During their time with their adoptive parents, the children took on different fields of interest. Domenico found a love of accounting, learning how to handle the bills and expenses of both parents' professions at a young age while occasionally studying traumatic events. He had a long standing interest in detective work, and that bonded the siblings together. Lolotte took on a mesh of artistic and supernatural interest. She loved discussions, music-making, and writing best, exploring desolate buildings for inspiration on stories she would later tell. Her love of exploration, her imagination, and her insatiable curiosity led her to help her brother with his detective work. Santiago was more subdued in his ventures, pursuing athleticism and promoting the healthy lifestyle the family upheld. He found desserts to be a welcoming challenge, and often forwent his duties to sneak into the nearest kitchen and learn from the cooks. He'd make energizing lunches for his siblings, finding food to be an interesting type of science experiment, and was Lo's exploration sidekick. Santiago was the one to bestow the nickname Lolly to his sister upon noticing her affinity for candy, and it stuck ever since amongst the siblings.


The siblings were homeschooled for a duration of their remaining childhood until each of them turned 16. They were sent from their London home to a boarding school in Barcelona, Spain when the theatre director's career took off. Being quite charming and charismatic, Lolly easily made friends with others, but preferred the company of people who could teach her a great deal, a voucher for self-improvement. As such, she focused on her grades and fostering her creative spirit... with a bit of scamming and street-ratting to help lighten her stress. She re-learned all of her tools of trade; lock-picking, pick-pocketing, and other matters, and encouraged her brothers to do the same for safety purposes. Domenico, prudish though he was, had decided to follow her advice. Santiago, however, refused to "be drawn back into such disgraceful and ugly little habits". Domenico and Santiago strived to be sterling examples despite their clash in philosophies, pursuing their respective interests in politics and mysteries, and the culinary arts and healthy lifestyles. The now young adults arrived back home by the ages of 19, 20, and 21. to find themselves thrust into the whirling life of suitors and nobility. It wasn't a total culture shock, and yet the thought of marriage sends equally anxious shivers down their spines, although not for identical reasons.


Luckily, as reward for their hard work, they were each bestowed a cat which quickly turned into Lo's cats, but the sentiment was appreciated.

She also, tries to make sure that she is always comfortable.

Personality (2 paragraphs, at least): Felicity, while a very kind girl, is also terribly shy. She has always been nervous and has always felt uneasy, especially around large crowds. She does always tries to hide in the corner, away from people. She is always very skittish around new people. She has a bad habit of stuttering, something she is always scolded about. She has often tried to stop herself from doing so, but has never been able to do so. She is often angry with herself for being so shy and so nervous. She has longed to not be so scared and shy since she was a little girl.

She has always been calm and reserved. She does not like loud noises very much, and rather enjoys reading books and staying in. She is very soft spoken. She does not like to raise her voice and tends to speak rather quietly. She does not like being the center of attention and she does not like to stand out. She is very caring, though, and likes to give money to the poor when she comes across them.

Bio (2 paragraphs, at least): Felicity was born in New York City to Lois and Harold Lennox. She was their youngest child, after Victor and Eunice. She was always considered prettier than her older sister, and Eunice always resented her for it. Her father is a stock broker, and he made and lost fortunes quite a bit before settling his family in a nice house in New York. Her mother controlled every sing aspect of Felicity's life. Her mother had no hope for Eunice finding a titled husband, so she put all of her focus on Felicity. Felcity grew up in a very strict environment with every aspect of her life planned out to the last detail.

Felicity developed a stutter, something her mother tried to stop her from doing, but she never was able to. She has never really had friends since she grew up in such a sheltered lifestyle. She grew up rather close to her older brother, Victor, and she has always been a daddy's girl. She has never been close to her sister, and that fact has always saddened her. She has always wanted a close relationship with Eunice.​

She is usually wearing pastel, elaborate dresses and petticoats. She also wears hats and bonnets. She likes things that are decorated with flowers. She also carries parasols when walking outside during the daytime.

Personality (2 paragraphs, at least): Adele, having grown up with a greedy mother, has grown to be slightly spoiled and slightly greedy. She is a bit sheltered, and therefore, knows little about the lives of the poor. All she knows of the poor is that being poor is bad. She knew her mother and father had been poor at points in their life, and Adele has not intention on being poor herself. She is a bit self centered, and slightly rude, though it is unintentional. She is good deep down. Very deep down.

She has grown up with the mindset that she would be going to England and marrying a titled man. And ever since she was a little girl, she had adored the idea. She always liked the thought of being a duchess, knowing that was the highest of noble titles. Now that Adele has moved to England, she has become more excitable. Despite the fact that she can come across as an airhead, she is very smart.

Her mother controlled her life, filling her head with the idea that she would go to England and marry a duke. Adele has always exceeded in her education, something that delighted her mother.

She moved to England very recently, her mother hoping for her to marry a duke. She was presented at court, as many American ladies did. Ever since then, her mother has been relentlessly searching for a husband for Adele. Adele has been going to many balls in hopes of finding a husband, and she hopes that it will happen soon. It all sounds rather grand to Adele.​
