Fantasy Midnight's last

Virgo slowly began to giggle and snort as the girl laughed, yet didn't really know what they were laughing about...until she told him. Immediately, he stopped laughing and looked at the girl in disbelief. She wasn't an NPC?! He stayed silent, listening in disbelief at the girl's words. After she finished, he let out a big groan and fell on his back. No NPC's, No quests, No money, and now no Capes?! Capes were his life! Sure, he only wore one, but he still liked to see OTHER people wear them, and it made friendly spars look cooler! Virgo sighed, before a small smile graced his lips. Oh, well! At least he met a new friend! Senki, was it? He liked it!

Hopping back up, he gave her a grin and nodded. "Well, it is not a quest, but I still must help you either way!" Virgo grinned and opened his inventory, choosing not to respond to her offensive blaspheme of Capes. He must've had a few gold somewhere. "Don't worry! I shall repay you with the exact price that...your food...had...cost." Virgo blinked as he realized he didn't have any gold. Just unsellable materials from slimes and his wand, which was also unsellable. He bit the inside of his cheek, wondering what to do. "It appears...I have no gold." He said slowly, but then grinned and closed his inventory. "Well, might I repay you for my mistake with helpful services?" Virgo asked.

@Mitchs98
Senki watched as Virgo groaned and fell over. Did what she said offend him? The cape thing? She hoped not, but it was likely possible. What a way to meet someone. Laugh at them and insult their sense of fashion. Good work Senki! He seemed to recover quickly and do a 180, out of depression and back to his normal self. She hadn't exactly been fully serious with asking him to pay her back, but okay. Worked for her..she was still hungry after all. She was already looking forward to getting more food..maybe teriyaki noodles? Sounded good. Oh..or maybe pork fried rice. She was visibly drooling with a blissfully ignorant expression on her face just thinking about what she was going to get until her hopes and dreams were dashed by him saying he was out of money. She felt like crying somewhat, now she'd have to buy her own food! Senki typically kept a good sum of gold due to the fact that she was a healer, and people could always use the services of a healer. It wasn't so much the fact of money as it was he made her drop it anyway.

She let out a small sigh when he offered to repay her with helpful services, whatever the heck he meant by that. "I guess so.." She replied sadly. If he had of had money she would of made him get her food for her, but that wasn't the case now. "First things first...you hungry? Wanna go get some food with me?" She asked. She'd think of what she could get him to do later, food first.

"Even if this world is just a game, you guys aren't part of it. You're not."

"Auf!"

Landing with a thud on the man, pushing him down, she sustained damage, little, but not a lot, to her own health. Dazed for a moment, she heard a concerned voice of the one that she had struck, being pushed upwards and a considerable distance away from the man.

"Ahh...um, are you alright miss? Do you have a fever, are you hungry or...

...

-If some strange person threw you off the roof... I-I -I...will help you stand... uh, up to t-them... n-not on the roof tho--though."

He stuttered, and seemed to be extremely nervous around her. Though Elliad's obliviousness got teh best of her, and she jumped up startled. There appeared to be a very hurt expression on her face, and she put her hand on his arm. The young man towered over her, and she raised his arm higher up so she could see underneath his arm. Elliad did the same with the other arm, before starting to spin him around.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to, I..."

It was surprisingly out of character for her. She had intended to hit him, anyway, though his unnatural stuttering made her nervous that she had broke something. She was used to people tripping over their own words on ocassions, but not as often as this man was. Under the belief that she had broken something in him, anxiety drien panic overcoming her, a distraught expression over her face.

"I-I didn't mean to, uwaaa, I'm sorry I'll fix it!! It'll work I swear!"

Pushing the back of her hand against the front of the young man's neck, the uncomfortable warmness of another person only made her more worried. From her hand, it started off as unnaturally cold, though a warm, calming energy would seem to flow from it, travelling through the man's skin like water through cloth. It was an ataractic and pleasant feeling which numbed out the feeling of either discomfort and pain, and any injuries or wounds afflicted on him would mend themselves, the rate of their recovery intensifying under the energy. Even without any wounds, it still was a warm feeling, the feeling of being wrapped in a blanket, or a distant sense of nostalgia from it.

"Did I fix it?? I didn't mean to obstruct the code for articulation or anything, I-I... no I should be the one that's sorry!! I didn't mean it!!!"

Elliad looked as if she was near to the point of crying, but it was purely over the idea that she may have damaged someone elses ability to speak. Unaware that it was simply the way he spoke, she continude to check him for any visible injuries that haven't been healed. It was then, a voice of urgency rung out behind her.

"Hey, that was quite a, I don't even know what to call it, right there. Are you guys alright? Do you need any help or anything?"

She spun around, the same somber expression worn, a worrisome voice laced with concern.

"Aaah, I'm so sorry! I think I accidently broke him! I didn't mean to, I didn't think the game worked like that... I thought once the game's initial design has been agreed upon, the development language is already decided upon. The dialogue depends upon many factors, such as language familiarity of the programming staff, target platforms, the execution speed requirements and the language of game engines... and language bindings for popular libraries such as and the performance gap between idiomatic code written in modern compiled languages... and... and..."

Elliad wasn't sure at this point what she was rambling on about, though she earnestly did seem like she was going to cry, different parts of her voice cracking. The heavy breathing of another soon approached, except this time, the expression was laced with familiarty. Necalli's disheveled appearance made her reasses whether or not it was him, though his heavy breathing seemed to catch in his throat at the shirtless man that had approached the both of them. Did he know him?

"Were you out rolling in grass again? Did you eat some dandelions while you were at it? You seem to wear rashes more often then shirts."

"Sir Rue, I'm sorry that I ran off! I think I accidently hurt someone, I..."

Geno, the female that they had met earlier, wandered from the group. It appeared she was bored with their brief exchange. But Elliad was heavily focused on the one that she believed that she had "broken", desperately tugging at his cape.

"Sir Rue, you're smart! You too, sir (
@The Endergod), you look like a game veteran! Did I break the dialogue code??"

Necalli Rue

Necalli's hands, drenched in an inky hue hovered along the withered slithering swirls which crept along the thin stitchings of his cloak. The trickled fingertips grazed the furred trimmings of his attire as the thin appendiges threatened to collect the jewelry which he wore as if a medallion along the curves of his stiff neck. Though, with dizzying thought he admitted the action to be extraneous and allowed the fleeting hand to instead cower back to his side.

The organically gregarious and compliant young mans expression was a motley sight as for a moment it twitched with several faltering emotions, a melting pot of peculiar glances and glittering expressions until they were jettisoned and replaced by a firm brow and pursed composure.
How could he have the audacity to stay in front of him after running away.

This strident thought thrashed within Rue's mind profusely and Necalli prepared himself to ask the other to go on a stroll with him when his mind was reminded of reality by a shrill, diffident tone.

"Sir Rue, you're smart! You too, sir, you look like a game veteran! Did I break the dialogue code?"

With such a remark Necalli's gaze was drawn to an expression strewn with emotional chaos which his mind abeted him to appease and encouraged his expression to soften. For a furtive moment he struggled with a step forward before pleasantly producing his usual dogmatic stride towards Elliad. Only as he fell to a halt was he finally aware of the other soul who occupied what he had presumed to be empty air on his left side until that moment. Necalli's tongue skimmed his lower lip thoughtlessly as his eyes fluently deciphered the others body language and heaving breaths. With a delicate hand his fingers entangled themselves into one another atop his cane.

"No you didn't but I fear you've done worse," Necalli graced the tense air with a strenuous sigh, "you scared the living daylights out of him. He might never be able to walk near rooftops again without fearing a green haired women might come falling down from the sky." With the clicking of his cane all which accompanied his rolling steps Necalli strayed closer to the nervous wreck with black hair. He paused in his path a foot or so from the stranger and in a motion with the fluidity of tranquil waves the white haired man peered into his inventory and retrieved a bottle of water which materialized within his grasp. With the item outstretched generously to the stranger cloaked in black he questioned him,

"Are you alright?"

Genocide Naito

"Eh. Who the fuck cares"

She quickly summoned her weapon, chain knives, as she started dancing around the goblins, swinging the knives at them.

When the final goblin was left, Genocide swiftly wrapped her chain blades around it's neck and pulled the handle, decapitating the easy level 1 enemy, ending it's life.

"....That was fun. Kyehahaha! Woo! The adrenaline rush. I need better battles than this. All these stupid goblins are literally the first FUCKING enemy in this entire fucking game."

Even a fool could tell. She was the so call 'serial killer' or 'player killer' in the game. Genocide Naito.

Virgo perked up. Food? Normally, Virgo would decline, not linking the idea of mooching off of other people's hard-earned gold. But a growl from his stomach reminded him of his money problems, meaning he didn't really have a choice. Patting his belly, he looked up at Senki with a smile. "That would be great!" Virgo cheered, pointing to her. "For your kindness, I now owe you TWO favors!" No one has ever invited him for food...or...anything before, not even in real life! Was this what friends did?

"So...Senki." He said, giggling as he said her actual name. "Where are we going? If I may, I suggest we find an establishment with all manners of pie, preferably apple!" He cupped his chin. "Although, I am in a blueberry mood, today!" He blinked and have her a small smile. "Yet I have the strangest craving for raspberry!"

Inori Nakamura

Concern fought a war inside with the nauseating feeling that could only come from interacting which was the sworn enemy of everything his nation stood for. Somewhere he could hear his thoughts leading to the conclusion that he had broken the poor girl with the way she seemed to become so chaotic. Air escaping his lips in puffs when she began to twirl him around with frantic words spilling out of her mouth almost too quickly for him to really understand.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to, I..."

--

"I-I didn't mean to, uwaaa, I'm sorry I'll fix it!! It'll work I swear!"

His body became stiffer and more ready to sprint away the more she panicked as he watched her eyes roam to his neck before she placed a dead hand on it... no, that wasn't right. It was chilly...kind of like ice before becoming cozy as if he had just been greeted home after a long day outside in the snow. His mind seemed to stutter to a halt once more as his gaze became a blank canvas of what it was before blinking. Mind yanking and scratching to catch up with the idea that it didn't hurt anymore which was a scary thought in it's own right.

"Did I fix it?? I didn't mean to obstruct the code for articulation or anything, I-I... no I should be the one that's sorry!! I didn't mean it!!!" Vision seemed to sharpen with a knife-like clarity as he saw the shine gloss over Elliad's brown marble eyes and coming to his sense , he stopped glaring viciously at the girl. He wasn't up--angry. Visage smoothing over once more and mind trying to structure his mind back into something reasonably functional. Blank mask cracking as he fidgeted even more as a nervous smile played upon his lips directed at the somewhat shorter girl.

"There...th--" His whispered but mumbled words became clogged in his throat as he breathed in trying to let the words flow once more. Embarrassment painting his cheeks once more as he tried to reach out a hand only to drop it so fast that it could of been a trick that he lifted it. Tension becoming a thick jelly before a voice seemed to poke at the roaring silence.

"Hey, that was quite a, I don't even know what to call it, right there. Are you guys alright? Do you need any help or anything?"
One he could deal with but a pair of two was beyond his art of war specialty or rather lack of. His eyes traveling warily over to the other as he took in the shirtless muscles of a person with blinding bright pants to his sensitive eyes. Inori proceeded to open his mouth before giving a rather confused at the line of words the girl strung together rather frantically. Only the last sentence being truthfully heard. She really had broken?

"
... and language bindings for popular libraries such as and the performance gap between idiomatic code written in modern compiled languages... and... and..."

"Were you out rolling in grass again? Did you eat some dandelions while you were at it? You seem to wear rashes more often then shirts." Knife cutting down the middle of the tension. A chill ran down his spine.... possibly, he could handle one or two people but surely three had to be a crowd. Inori wasn't scared because of the new arrival... no, that would be preposterous for him...a cold-hearten hero. The memories or even mere mentions made him sway like a blade a grass while trying to ground himself to earth once more though there was little pain to anchor him.

"Sir Rue, I'm sorry that I ran off! I think I accidently hurt someone, I..."

--

"Sir Rue, you're smart! You too, sir, you look like a game veteran! Did I break the dialogue code??" A pant as the feeling of needles seemed to subside somewhat as it became more of a coughing rather than a choking feeling that looped around his lungs and throat. Ba-dum. Ba-dum. Slow and steady. Slowly but consistently he huffed as softly as he could as he didn't want to disturb Yuko's sleep... Cough. Cough. His lungs feel like they will fall out and he notices a whimsical fairy tale like man come towards him with a stride and he felt he missed something. ITS NOT IMPORTANT.

"Are you alright?"
A bottle of water is offered to him with a small gesture and seemed to float back into place in front of Inori. Gingerly, he takes it as his vision blurs and nods his thanks as he tries to take slow sips only to gulp it down with a little running down his mouth as he tries to both breathe and sip at the same time. Almost suffocated by the volume of liquid running into his mouth before he put it down softly and without stopping, covers his eyes with his hands trying to pretend that they was a rock.

"Thank you." A simple statement makes it way past his lips with a gruff edge to it from running over his lung limit for long stretches. Uncovered sight. Partly not wanting to be in these stranger's scurry or rather sights he pulls at his cloak as if it would hide his tall form. The other part scared of hurting them, fearing the very idea of flowing crimson mistakes. Hands no longer on his eyes as he looks at the ground with an interest that would not usually be graced upon it's surface before pulling out a few coins. He places coins in both Elliad's and Necalli's palm as he gives a very shaky bow of apology. Now he could go and... everyone would be breathing...hopefully. Life was unpredictable.

"Take t-this please... f-for the trouble I caused you. Please." It is almost begging as Inori wants to at least offer some compensation for the problems he has caused to the nice people. It was very unfortunate that he ruined their evening. He just wanted to cool down but knew instantly he would regret the uncontrollable lullaby that him a puppet at the oddest of times. Shaking out his midnight locks as he banished the thought temporarily, Bright black pearls going to meet Necallis briefly as he stood there awkwardly not yet dismissed or given one of those social ques that would allow him to leave. Maybe he could go hunting and journal...

"Thank you."

Senki giggled at his excitement to her offer. It was just food, sheesh. She didn't have to pay her back either. Buuut if he insisted, she wasn't gunna say anything against it. Besides, it might be fun getting him to do stuff. She arched a brow as he giggled, not sure entirely why. He then suggested they get pie. Well, she wanted to get ramen or something...but pie sounded good too. "Hmmm..Okay! Sure. Sounds good to me, lead the way." She replied. This guy seemed fun, maybe they could become friends. It was possible, even if they did meet by him thinking she was an NPC and her nearly shooting him in the face.

Virgo smirked at her response. "Splendid!" Virgo cheered as he turned around and began to walk. "Lead the way, Sen-WHOA!" Virgo cried, accidentally walking off the roof and falling face first into the ground, cape draped over his head. With a groan, he quickly popped up, and with a grin, pointed up at the roof. "I am Okay!" He exclaimed. Sure, there were a few spots here and there and he might've gotten a concussion, but he was still okay!

Necalli Rue

Necalli heeded the taciturn young mans motions and grandiloquently his nimble fingers slithered along the crooks of one another to lace upon the sleek surface of his cane, soothingly hovering along the wood and concocting designs naked to eye as he ventured the slivers and subtle etched crooks which were a nuance upon the cane though he thought nothing of it.

Rather, Necalli's avid eyes exposed themselves to the newest stranger mundanely, watching the fatigued soul nearly drown himself with the deed of devouring the clear liquid which had once occupied the quaint glass container he had handed him. The stranger who dressed as though they were a shadow imprisoned his vision behind his hands diffidently and with such triggered Necalli's eyebrows to knit into one another dubiously, curious as to what inspired the action.

"Thank you."

With a semblance in height to Necalli he had instinctively predicted the other to have a more adamant tone and pompous air permeating off his lanky build. With grey smeared beneath his lower lashes and draped in clothes which were stitched with the thesis of breathing ominous enigmas the stranger held the physical appearance of one who held a much fiercer personality. Though, the mere existence of their small group of individuals occupying the same vicinity as the other appeared to cast him into abundant discomfort which was unlike what Rue had assumed.

As he though such a new weight riddled his palm and Necalli casted his attention to his hand to discover a small treasury. The young mans hair slid along his forehead and dangled before his masked expression as his head cocked to the side, voicing his silent question as he witnessed the dark stranger gift Elliad with the same righteous, pithy action.

"Take t-this please...F-for the trouble I have caused you. Please."

As he pleaded his humble wish it appeared the stranger held intention to escape their fiasco, paying Necalli a graceful glance with his nightly gaze. As the suns glittering rays littered the dreary individuals at first inspid vision for a moment their eyes were replaced with a scenery of the night sky. The perplexity of the strangers emotions incarcerated within the others oeuvre coerced Necalli's eyelids to seperate far from one another augustly as the man whose gaze held the complexity of a galaxy prayed another generous thank you.

"Miss Eliod it appears we've recently acquired some money," he paused wondering a stray moment if the brilliant woman were more at peace to find that the young man before them appeared uninjured, "why don't we treat this man to a meal as an apology." With his lips like pillows they softly pressed against one another with their corners genially wrinkling with an abetting grin stretching his expression and dotting his plush skin with dimples for his lips to wear as earings. The expression which had painted his features was then directed to the new soul to make their acquaintance.

Senki watched as Virgo...walked off of the roof. Well, that was a quick way down she guessed? Though, there was a ladder he could of just climbed down so. She quickly ran over to the edge to check on him, and he confirmed he was alright. "You coulda used the ladder, you know?" She told him, giggling slightly and shaking her head to herself. She walked over to the ladder and climbed down, walking over to Virgo when he was safely down. "Okay. So. Where is this pie place?" She asked, eager to get some now that he'd mentioned it.

Virgo grinned. "Follow me!" He said, turning and walking out of the alleyway as he lead her to the best pie place in the whole entire game; 'Cathy's Crusts'! Let's see. A twist here, a turn there, a bit of a twisty turn over here, some turny-twists about here. As they walked, Virgo gave curious glances at senki. With a big grin, he opened his mouth and breathed in loudly.

"SO! What do you like to do for fun?!" Virgo exclaimed as they walked, eager to make a conversation. Virgo hadn't had a conversation with...well, anyone, really! Most of the people he tried to talk to either ignored him or shooed him away, but they were always busy! ...Probably! And since senki was busy getting pie WITH him, this was the perfect chance.

Senki followed closely behind Virgo as he lead them to the pie shop. Now the question is..what kind of pie was she going to get? Blueberry? Cherry? Apple? Pecan..just thinking about it made her stomach growl. She was pretty much thinking about what she was going to get the entire time they walked up until when Virgo spoke. "Hmmm. Wellll. Lotsa stuff. Freeing those corrupted blade guys is pretty fun. I like reading and stuff too." She replied. "Playing pranks on people is very fun. And sooo easy to do with magic. One time I froze someones coffee while they were drinking it, the cup stuck to their face." She explained with a giggle, easily recalling the event. "What about you?" She asked.
