Midnight Island [Inactive]

" IDK "as he pulled out garlic and started to eat it"and I bought a cabin in the woods"

Xavier smiled and laughed a little, sensing the tension in the air from the two humans. "Oh! I know where that is. Nice little place," he thought aloud, letting his gaze wander from human to human on the beach. He liked talking to them, but him being hungry and them being tense wasn't a very good feeling atmosphere. Suddenly, a question popped into Xavier's mind and he looked at the two in front of him. "Would either of you happen to know the date?"

Clara looked to the man curiously. "April 25th,2013....why?" She asked, tilting her head slightly.

Felix unfolded his arms and ran a hand through his long dark brown hair,

"That's weird you don't know how many friends you have-" He cut himself off quickly at the sharp, fowl scent of garlic, feeling his insides begin to burn as he inhaled the scent. He grimaced, who carries around a garlic? And eats it! For Christ’s sake! He thought, he moved away from Drake,

"Nice talking to you." He hissed managing a weak grin before leaping out of the tree, landing lightly on the ground he stalked off finally able to exhale a breath after being around that pungent garlic.

Xavier tilted his head to the side, slightly mocking the girl. "Oh, no reason. None at all." He smiled again and opened his book, the first printing of Pride and Prejudice, straightening the page and wiping sand from it. "Thank you again for getting this."

"It's no problem." Clara responded with a smile. She looked to Nelson. "Lets go before the bag's weight doesnt cut our arms off." She giggled slightly. She waved slightly to the man in farwell and walked further into the forest, heading towards the cabin.

Frank swam on his back over to Sariel,

"So, been a while since we talked, whatcha been up to?" He shot a stream of water from his mouth. Frank was checking her out, he liked what he saw, a venerable paradise this was. And that bikini, DAMN! was all Frank could think about that. He had a broad smile on his face.

Xavier waved goodbye back, waiting until they were out of sight to slip back into the woods. He turned around a tree and slammed into something. Or rather, someone. "Sorry Felix," he said apologetically, picking up his book and wiping the dirt off it. "I didn't see you." Pausing for a second, Xavier looked to the beach. "They're interesting. "

Nelson chuckled under his breath in agreement with her statement, speeding up next to her the sun causing a thick pattern on their pathway. \ As they continued down the path awkward silence replaced the tension before, Nelson feeling as though he is hte cause of it. Him and Clara where always with the group never had it just been them and he didn't know what to do or what to say.

As Nelson and Clara walked together, she was trying to think of things to talk about.

"So...how have you been latley,Nelson? Been writing much?" She asked, looking to the blonde next to her.

"what's wrong you act like your vampire" as Drake jump from the tree Landing right beside him"anyways I hate vampires"

Sariel surfaced her wet hair slicked back, blinking her hazel eyes over at him with a small smirk,

"I found a star fish," Was the first thing the she said to answer his question, laughing softly. With a soft sigh she pursed her pale pink lips looking off across the beach in thought, completely oblivious he was looking her over,

"Mostly just trying to find a job other than working at a maid cafe," She mumbled slightly, blushing, realizing she just told him her sorry excuse for a job, to be honest she hated working at a cafe where she had to flaunt her body to attract customers.

"What about you?" She quickly changed the subject, returning the question to him, returning her gaze to his face, her cheeks still slightly flushed, but not too noticeable.

Felix groaned slightly as he bumped into Xavier,

"Watch it!" He hissed softly turning his gaze towards the boy and the girl in the water, red eyes scanning them over, his throat tightening, he tensed slightly as he realized Drake had followed him, with a sigh he turned to face the boy, rolling his broad shoulders back in a stretch,

"Because I hate the smell of garlic?" He laughed, masking his annoyance perfectly.

"And I think you're a weirdo because you eat garlic plain. Who likes the smell of that stuff anyways?" The vampire stated taking a step back, standing beside Xavier.

"Besides, vampires aren't even real."

Xavier opened his mouth to tell the older vampire off, then shut it closed to stop from gagging. 'My God, how can Felix stand that smell?' Xavier thought, then swallowed and nodded in agreement with Felix. "Of course vampires aren't real. Even children know that." Again, he wanted to hit himself as his voice came out rushed. "I need to go," he said quickly, then darted off into the woods, away from the terrible smell.

"well you're looking at the guy who eats garlic and I love the smell of it"Drake said fiercely

"Well you're weird." Felix managed to get out almost choking on the air,

"Please excuse, me, I must go." With that he brushed past Drake running after Xavier gulping in fresh air as he ran, he caught up to his fellow vampire and slowed his pace,

"What's wrong with that guy." He coughed, his lungs still burning.

"Thanks for leaving me like that, I had to endure it much longer than you, Xavier." The vampire spat angrily.

Nelson stared down at Clara the shade of her hair telling him she had vibrant red hair.

"I'm alright, you?" Nelson replied and continued after a pause, "And when am I not writing." He attempted the joke hoping it would break the ice between them.

"Have no-" Xavier paused to cough. "No idea. Creeps me out. And your older than me! Shouldn't you be able to last longer?" He turned his back to the other vampire and smirked, enjoying teasing him. "You can have him to eat. I'm not hungry, and he's nice and seasoned with garlic in his blood," he stated, then blushed as his stomach growled the tiniest bit at the thought of blood.

Clara smiled. "I'm doing okay." She said. Clara giggled slightly to the joke. She tried thinking of something to say. "Im guessing when we get to the cabin, the rooms will be first come first serve." Clara said, trying to start up some kind of conversation.

Felix stood up straighter,

"Haven't you ever heard of respect your elders? In other words, sacrifice yourself for them." The older vampire smirked, laughing as Xaviers pale skin flushed red, placing a hand on they boys head he ruffled his light hair,

"Don't worry, we'll eat soon enough..." He trailed off, looking back in the direction of the shore.

Franks nodded,

"Yeah, I'm doing my training at West Point right now, there it's either learn from books or learn from physical training." He thought about the job thing."Have you considered college? I could put in a word with the commandant, give my congressman a call, you'll be in in no time. I could even get you a good room, with nice people. Maybe even-" Frank heard something about first come first serve rooms. "Gotta go!" He was out of the water in a flash, He grabbed his duffel and sprinted past the others. "I'm getting the best one!" He called. Frank ran all the way until he reached the cabin. He went to the door, only to discover it was locked, and that he did not have a key. He sat waiting. Bored, he pulled out his survival knife and sharpened it, it wasn't dull, but you could never have it too sharp. "Should have figured, no one leaves their cabin unlocked." He'd still be getting the big bed, come hell or high water.

As Clara walked, she saw Frank rush right by. She chuckled and a few minutes later, she arrived to the cabin. She held up the keys teasingly. "You need these." Clara said simply. She walked up the steps and unlocked the door. "Go and get the best, like no room ever was." Clara giggled, standing out of the way to let him in.

Xavier shook his head, messing with his hair to fix it the best he could. "There is no way I'd sacrifice myself for you, just so you know. You lived first, you should die first." He smirked and then sighed, looking in the direction of the beach. "I don't really want to kill one of them... Besides the garlic kid. He annoys me."

Sariel was about to reply but when he took off in a mad dash she just smirk, deciding it was probably time for her to get out of the water as well, with a soft sigh she walked back up on the dry sand, drying herself off with a towel from her bag. Turning to the jungle a cold breeze brushed past her, sending a shiver down her spine. Maybe this was the feeling the others were having. She wondered, remembering their spoked faces. She sat alone on the beach, stuffing her clothes back into the duffel bag.

Felix left Xavier and pulled himself into a tall tree with ease. His deep red eyes scanned the shore, coming to rest on a girl, he looked around for the boy that was with her but realized he had left,

"Xavier, now is our chance." he hissed through clenched teeth, peered back down at the fair haired boy,

"Has years of lacking the taste of human blood made you soft?" He teased though his voice was cold.

"We don't have to kill her, just drain her a little, just a bit to satisfy us. What do you say, up for a bit of fun?" He purred looking down at him, his lips pulled back into a tooth grin, fangs exposed.

Xavier looked at the girl through the trees, biting his lower lip in thought before placing his book down under the tree Felix was occupying. "Fine, just not enough to kill her. And I'm not soft, just more..." He started walking and tried to think of a good word. "Moral I guess you could say. Don't randomly kill others," he said and touched the tip of his tongue to his fangs, watching Felix to see how he would get the girl.
