Midnight Island [Inactive]

"I knew I would have to use a weapon some day, but not like this." Clara stated as she took a knife and slipped it in her pant leg, the blade pointing upward so that it would not stab her foot. Her skinny jeans kept it in place.

She looked to LiHua and nodded. "Yea, let's get going then." She said as she began to head for the door. Clara tried thinking of a plan to try and receive Sariel from the tree with out being noticed by the head vampire. Hopefully she would be able to move by the time they get there.

She nodded, following after Clara as she smiled slightly. "It will be fine...I hope. I'm sure they are far more distracted by Frank and Drake." She added as she shifted out the door. "Who shall we go get first?" She asked, walking next to her as she stretched her arms above her head, glancing around the scenery. She was definitely hated this islands more than anything else.

Clara smiled slightly back. "If Sariel can move when we get there, we shall get her first. She is up in a tree and cannot fight for herself, so we need to make sure she is safe. After that, we will need to try and get Frank and Drake out of there and back to the cabin...I think that is everyone. Everyone else are still sleeping in their rooms at the cabin, I believe." Clara said as she looked forward to the path in front of her. This forest was so beautiful...but was contaminated by the blood sucking monsters. She sighed. She had so many fun things planned. Clara was going to swim in the ocean, sit by the lake, have a bonfire with her friends and tell ghost stories. So much fun things that she will never be able to experience now, because she knew by the end, she'll be dead or turned if she can't survive this. Clara realized her negative thoughts and replaced it with a smile, her game face. She was going to survive this and her friends will make it out as well. She will not let anything bad happen to her and her group.

Drake grab his longsword back from Frank"I want to see how good you are with that blade so a sparring should waking you up"pointing at Lamia

She peered over at Drake, red eyes staring at him with no even the slightest emotion present. "I do not want to fight you currently." Her voice was quiet, her gaze remaining upon him before it turned back to those she called comrades, a frown upon her lips. There was not much sense in fighting him to her, which was why she so strongly was going to avoid so. She had her honor, or so she believed, so she would not battle someone unless required to. Currently, she did not have to.

LiHua nodded before frowning. "Lets go and get her then before she is the center of attention once again." She whispered, gently reassuring herself that she held a weapon on her before she began to leave the small area that rested safely near the cabin. Heading back towards the current clearing they vampires were present in she began looking through the trees before she noticed Sariel. Peering up she frowned. "Can you move?"

Clara followed and hid by a tree near LiHua and stayed silent, since Li had asked a question and was awaiting an answer. Clara looked around with her eyes, making sure the others were distracted. If something came up,clara was willing to cause attention to herself so that Li and Sariel could get away.

"Now, now, Frank. Why go raising your voice and attacking Xavier? Is it to prove a point to me? I'll tell you now, your actions are futile. I have no intention of letting a single human leave this island alive." Turning to face the woods, Darian continued to talk to "Frank". "Listen closely. You are strong, I will concede you that point. However, your argument falls flat from there. The human I marked is, indeed, mine. And as for your threat... I shall do whatever I want, regardless of your opinions. Now, if you'll excuse me, and that isn't a choice, I have a few matters to attend to. We'll see each other again, eventually." In that instant, Darian disappeared, faster even than any vampire should be able to. His voice floated in the light breeze on the beach. "My human is currently sitting on that tree, over there. I healed her bones with my blood, no need to thank me. Do take good care of her for me, won't you?" With that, even Darian's voice was gone, leaving nothing but silence in his wake.

Frank growled, he would kill Darian, even if his own life was the cost. He looked at Xavier

" We may have had our differences... but I ask that you help get my friends off this island. In return you may do as you wish with me. Please, I beg of you, help me." Frank hated asking him for help, but humility and taking any help he could get was the only way to save his friends, and more importantly, Sariel.

Sariel slowly began to wiggle her fingers and then move her arm, it had been healed, and the pain for the most part, was gone. She turned her head at the sound of franks voice, swallowing hard as he spoke of her. Turning away quickly a few tears spilling down her cheeks, why was he trying to fight for me? She thought beginning to feel like a burden.

Peering down at the sound of a girls voice her eyes met up with LiHua's nodding curtly in response. Slowly she began to crawl down, slipping slightly here and there before leaping off a low branch, landing a bit unsteadily on her feet.

"I'm fine." She stated more coldly than expected, surprising herself. She shot LiHua an apologetic glance before brushing herself off and looking over at Clara, then over her shoulder at Frank, her eyes briefly meeting his, cheeks flushing, before she looked away.

"I'm heading back to the cabin." Beginning to stalk off towards shelter. I'd just be a burden if I stuck around. She scolded herself, clenching her fist angrily before lifting her right leg she kicked a tree hard enough to make it's leaves shiver. Walking up the cabin steps she opened the door and slammed it behind her.

Xavier scowled and laughed harshly. "Differences? Really? Like I'm gonna help you, who has tried to kill me several times within the past, I don't know, hours? Not likely." Xavier huffed and brushed dirt off his pants before running a hand through his hair in frustration. He didn't like Frank, at all, but the idea of all the humans dying didn't sit well with him. He sighed and turned towards Frank, burying his hands in his pockets. "Fine, I'll help. Not for you though, I would gladly see your funeral any day. I'm doing it for my own reasons. A rule first," he held up one finger as if to make his point clearer. "I don't attack you, you don't attack me. Comprende?"

Clara pouted slightly as Sariel stormed off. She looked to LiHua. "I'm going to go and try to calm her down...I'll be right back." Clara quickly walked away and into the cabin. She smiled nicley to Sariel.

"Hey..." she greeted kindly. Clara shut the door quietly behind her.

Frank listened to Xavier's terms,

"Okay, but I have one of my own. You do not, under any circumstances, touch Sariel with your foul teeth. Darian has already defiled her once, you will not do so as well. As long as you do that, I won't attack you, on that you have my word." Frank forced himself to extend his hand." Shake on it?" Frank smiled, a forced smile if there ever was one. As much as he hated Xavier, and vampires in general, he hated Darian more, and he cared about his friends. He doubted the lone ranger bullshit was going to get the job done, making teaming up with Xavier his only option.

Lamia rolled her neck as she groaned slightly, turning to watch Frank and Xavier. Staring she tilted her head, eyes shining with curiousity as she felt a smile come to her lips. She had yet to see the two...well in a way species working together or at least making a deal. Thinking about it the girl frowned, turning her gaze to Xavier. The vampire could make this deal but what if Darian found out...or well if he needed to do something that broke it?. Lamia sighed. "Xavier, we were just told that they were to be killed..." She pointed out, taking her sword from the ground, sheathing it upon her back. Over all, Lamia did not want to see any one of her vampiric comrades hurt.

LiHua just frowned as Sariel and Clara returned to the cabin, causing the Chinese woman to sigh. "I shall leave them alone for now." She whispered before she went and took a seat near the door of the cabin, closing her eyes for a moment. This whole day had been confusing for her! Vampires for one were something she did not believe in. At all. Resting one hand upon her leg near the knife and the other on the ground in case she needed to move quickly she watched, careful to not let anyone come near the cabin.

Xavier shook hands with Frank. "Deal. And my teeth are not foul, they're very clean. I brush them and such," he joked, then looked over his shoulder as Lamia addressed him. "I know, and they're all going to die, they're mortal. But just not by my hands or in front of me," he stated simply, then tilted his head and smiled innocently. "You, Felix, and even Darain know I'm against violence unless absolutely called for." Smiling again, Xavier looked away from the elder vampire and to Frank. "So what's your plan?"

She blinked, curious for a moment before she nodded. "Fair enough Xavier." She murmured, reaching up to rub at her temples. "I will not take any of their lives unless I am told to." Which, she doubted Darian would do and if he did, it would most likely be later on. She turned to Felix and Xavier. "What should we do now..." She asked, frowning slightly. It had been long since she was awake. Previously she would return to the building to once again adorn the gowns she did within Egypt in secrecy. Now she was stuck on what to do.

Frank looked at Lamia,

"Just know that if you try, I will stand in the way." Frank thought for a moment. "I suppose we should go to the cabin and talk with the others, they may have some ideas better than our own." Frank turned towards the cabin and started walking. "Come on." 'What to do...' Frank thought, he needed a plan of attack before he did anything else.

"Ok ok, let's go," Xavier started walking, following Frank and humming the song he still couldn't remember the words to. After a few minutes, he saw the wood cabin come into view and slowed down. "Hey, should I hang back for a moment while you make sure whoever's inside won't try and shoot me or something?" Stopping completely, he stood just outside the clearing where the cabin sat and had his hands in his pockets again, watching the small structure with a combined look of curiosity and caution.

Frank stopped, Xavier was right. He thought of an Idea, and he smiled maliciously at Xavier.

"Hold still for a moment." Frank manuevered around behind Xavier and grabbed his collar. He pulled him down to the ground and dragged him, by his collar to the cabin. "Hey guys, I brought us a present." Frank tossed Xavier into the middle of the room. "This is our new ally, Xavier." Frank grinned at him.

Xavier raised one eyebrow questionably, but held still as Frank moved behind him. "What are yo- Hey!" He started asking the other something, but got jerked down to the dirt and started being drug towards the cabin. Kicking and trying to regain his footing, Xavier used every curse word and profane statement he could think of and directed them at Frank. When he was tossed, he scrambled to his feet and glared at the boy, pointing a finger at him accusingly. "That was totally uncalled for!" He yelled, then stopped and realized there were a few other people in the cabin. Huffing, he brushed dirt off himself and mentally counted to ten, calming himself down before glaring at Frank. "Do that again and I'll rip your arms off before dragging you around."

Frank chuckled,

"Well, would it have looked better with you dragging me? I thought you didn't want to get shot?" Frank turned and addressed everyone present. "We need to come up with a plan, and I'd like to hear your ideas. The options I see are that we eliminate all hostile vampires, leaving our good friend Xavier alone of course, or that we get the hell of this island. What do you guys think?"

Clara smiled at Xavier and gave a nod. Since he had never been hostile to her,she would not be hostile to him. She looked to Frank. "It seems like almost every vampire is following orders from the head. If we somehow manage to to get rid of the leader,we can manage to get the rest. Or visa versa and make our way up." Clara said, just throwing out ideas. "Not sure how well it would work though..." Clara added in,drowning out her voice slightly. She had conversation with Felix and has not had any problems with him, yet. Perhaps Clara could somehow manipulate him to somehow have him help her in some way to get them off,but she knew that might not work either.

Sariel watched as Clara walked into the cabin not long after she had, and plopped down on the couch her gaze burning up at Clara's, though no emotion was shown. Slowly turning her gaze away she studied the floor, running a hand through her hair, twisting it absent mindedly between her fingers.

"Hey." She mumbled simply, raising her head slightly at the sound of voice outside, her eyes widening as Frank dragged a vampire into the cabin. She clenched her jaws together, hands tightening into fists. Why would he trust that monster enough to bring him here. She thought, staring daggers at Xavier, and not meeting Franks gaze, what so ever.

Quickly she got to her feet, her gaze sweeping the room before finally resting harshly on Frank,

"If there was an plan that we could possibly think of we would be off this island by now!" She growled. The gentle, innocent, happy side of Sariel had left, and this is what remained.

"Build a raft? Sure! But probably get stranded in the ocean. Call for help? No cell phone service. Take the boat? Oh wait it's gone. Kill the vampires? Yes, maybe if we were a million times stronger. And what if we do kill them? Huh? What next? We live here till we die of likely starvation. Even if family or friends did come to the island to try and rescue us, we are just putting more innocent lives in danger." She stopped herself, inhaling and exhaling slowly, her gaze shifted to Xavier, taking a step towards him,

"Do you even think we have the slightest chance of escaping? Because if you don't, why are you even here? To laugh at our efforts?" She muttered harshly.

"I hate you," Sariel meant it with all her heart, shoving past Xavier she went to the door, opening it without looking back over her shoulder at anyone in the cabin.

"I'm going to find LiHua, It's not safe for her to be alone, not with all those filthy, god damned, blood sucking monsters roaming around. With that she stepped outside, slamming the door behind her. Walking down the step towards the girl, sitting down beside her, her cheeks still flushed with anger.

"Pretty unlucky huh?" She muttered, casting a sideways glance at LiHua.

"Out of all the islands we could have gone to, we chose the one that was vampire infested."

LiHua yawned slightly. 'Poor Sariel.' Was her only thought as she curled up slightly. Her clothing provided warmth but still, her cheeks and upper arms had gone a light red from the cold breeze. Her eyes, red by nature stared up at the sky with conflicting thoughts. While she refused to believe that they existed she had been given proof. "I wish I was back in China." She muttered, pouting slightly. If anything, LiHua did not feel comfortable out of her home country, intruding on a group of friends like she did. A frown marred her features before she heard the voice of Sariel, causing her to smile a smile that could only convey the discomfort in this situation that she really felt. "Unlucky is an understatement of this mess." She whispered in response, bringing her knees to her torso as she sighed. "We need to get out of here."

Clara pouted slightly as she listened to Sariel rant. She was about to say something, but didn't want to interrupt. Clara put her head down slightly as Sariel stormed out of the cabin. She sighed and slipped her knife out of her jeans and placed it on one of the end tables by the couch. "She's right..." Clara muttered as she sat down on the couch. "Even if we do find a way to defeat the vampires, there is no way off the island, unless the boat magically appears." Clara said, laying her head back. "And I don't think the other vampires will reason with us, I mean, I managed to be able to only have conversations with one with out being eaten, but who knows what that'll stop and he would be the death of me. Of course the others we know they want to kill us." She added in as she stared to the ceiling. She moved her head slightly to look at Xavier and Frank. "Got any ideas?" She asked.

Frank looked at Sariel as she walked trough the door,

"I like the kill 'em all plan, but-" Frank remembered his promise, one he'd already broken, he wouldn't break again. "I have to go." He stated, walking out the door. He walked to Sariel and stood a silent sentinel, never letting her out of his sight.
