Something you should know:Moon clan's royalty are not related. They have sacred rituals that tell whom shall be what,unknown to the sun clan. The king and queen are not condemned to any romantic relationship with each(of course you should support each other) Also this is a new generation of rulers. The rulers of the two clans haven't even met yet. This in mind the queen and king of the sun clan can be brother and sister if that is preferred(thats actual what usually happens anyway). Since the the new rulers are young the prince and princess does not have to be any offspring. They can be cousins acting as placeholders till then. The king and queens are at equal level, but in both clan cultures then queens are very admired and even sacred to an extent. (in other words the clans don't have to have a king.but without a queen there is no clan)

From her build alone one might realize Sela must be some kind of warrior, her athletic body being toned and covered in a variety of scars. Some older and already starting to fade while others are still fresh tokens from another encounter with either fishermen or other creatures of the deep.


Her body is rather lean with toned muscles covering her upper body, yet she still maintains a streamlined form.


Her skin's grey and rough with a paler underbelly and a variety of markings adorning her upper body.


Her most prominent scars are those running over her mouth as well as her shoulders, having been rather deep cuts made them only heal slowly and left quite some scar tissue in their wake.


Her tail's long and ends in a large fin similar to those of Thresher sharks, the same kind of shark like fins being situated on her lower back and abdomen while fin like skin connects her fingers, all of them ending in rather sharp claws.


Her hair's of a raven black and kept rather short, even shaven off on her left side, leaving rather stubbly hair adorning her head.


Sela's ears resemble fins too, being rather frilly and pointy and adorned with bony appendages.


Her facial structure's rather sharp with prominent cheek bones and a straight nose ending in a rather round tip.


Sela's eyes are of a dark grey and turn into pure black when startled, resting in rather deep sockets, giving her somewhat of a scary look at times.


But what's more intimidating than her powerful frame or eerie gaze is Sela's teeth, being modeled after a Shark's most deadly weapon.


Each teeth not only ends in a rather sharp edge but also regrows rather quickly, newer teeth replacing older worn down ones in a matter of days.


Her shark like teeth give her a rather intimidating grin, baring her teeth usually being enough to express her authority and get her point across


Personality:


While many of the Moon clan seem to be less than satisfied with their place in the world and suffer from being very melancholy Sela herself seems to be devoid of these kind of notions.


This doesn't mean she's all happy and likes prancing around with colorful fish, no, quite the contrary actually.


Sela does suffer from a very short temper and usually gets herself into sticky situations because of her anger management issues.


For she does take a lot of pride in her position as a guard and sees it as her duty to make sure her clan is safe and protected.


Her gruff attitude makes her somewhat hard to approach and when you're on friendlier terms with the shark-like mermaid you'll notice that apart from being rather grumpy and moody Sela does seem to care deeply for her fellow moon clan brethren.


Yet she does seem to hold a grudge against the Sun clan and those who oppose the her and her view of what's right, leading to her often getting rather reckless when dealing with these delicate matters (Slicing up deep sea fishermen's nets and making it look like they just passed a spiky coral reef being a common occurrence)


Bio:


Sela grew up knowing nothing but her duties, being the daughter of the Clan's Warrior. Her mother's mate had been slain fulfilling his duty to the clan, making her mother somewhat reluctant of allowing her daughter to pursue a similar calling, wanting to honor her father by finishing what he had started.


She had been the runt of the clan for quite some time, being a late bloomer herself but once she started going down that path there was no turning back, Sela turning out to be an expert hunter and warrior, all thanks to her father's blood.


Though many joked that it was ice cold salt water that run through her veins.


At the age of thirteen Sela was finally able to join the Clan's warriors, rising through the ranks and amassing quite a few tokens of her deeds in forms of scars covering her body, each one of them like a badge of honor for her.

Sela can turn into a rather large Thresher Shark as well as having most of the shark-like perks in her usual form like being able to locate other beings by their electrical impulses, having a superior sense of smell and having a lot of stamina as well as being a really fast swimmer.


In her Shark form she gets a boost to her abilities and ferocity with the drawback of becoming somewhat blinded by her emotions, though having someone to calm her down usually helps quite a bit


Being a Warrior and Guard for the Moon clan Sela is an expert tracker and warrior, being able to go toe to toe with the sea's apex predators.


Her Shark like attributes play a large role in her being a prodigal warrior but she's not only brawn but also has quite the cunning mind and strategical thinking, though she tends to be quite reckless regardless


Weapons:


Sela usually fights with a Trident like spear made out of bones and corals but that does not mean she won't get very up close and personal, utilizing her powerful tail, vicious teeth and sharp claws when defending herself and her clan's interests.

personality: The only evidence that Kiva has a heart is the dedication and sacrifice she shows for her people. She is distant and likes to be left alone. She doesn't speak much and always seems to be in a sour mood. She is sad,her people can tell,but no moon clan queen has ever really been joyful either. The only indication that she might be happy is when she shows no emotion at all.It's this distant attitude that makes her seem approachable. She enjoys being feared by others,as it keeps them away from her....far away. She isn't cruel but has no room for mercy. Even tho she makes it clear that she wants no interaction with her subjects she is loved still. She refuse to dispoints her people and will do everything she can to keep them happy. She has given up her freedom and happiness. She has no desire to live except for her people. She has a softer side to her, After all she is still so very young and being a queen is so very hard. She does break down,she does cry,at times things get to hard. In other words every once and awhile she needs a hug. (will add more later on)


bio: Her past is as secretive as the moon clan itself. No one even knew of her existence until she was announced to be the next queen. The only thing that worth mentioning is that she might have been the only living thing in existence Queen Esther (The previous moon queen) might have ever shown kindness to.

Raphael has a very intimidating, tall muscular build with broad shoulders and a rather long tail. She has a pale olive angular features, and barely any facial "fat". Her eyes are a pale hazel and hair hued a deep black, cut in an extremely masculine manner with it short on the sides and longer on the top of her head. It's almost always a mess, spiking up in random directions and what not.

Personality


Calm at one moment then fuming the next, Raph’s personality is all but impossible to describe. As mentioned before, she takes quite a few masculine mannerisms such as not being afraid to get her hands dirty and always enjoys a decent fight. She's the sort of person who believes that if whatever you are doing doesn't affect anyone else, including herself, than she couldn't care less. If you are a part of some long lost religion that no one has even heard of, she won't care. As long as you don't cast any death curses that is.


Background


Raphael’s father, Frank Parisa hadn’t really wanted any children yet, but he got her and her sister anyway. He was having a great night with two prostitutes when he accidentally got them both pregnant. And 9 months later, he got stuck with both children. This would have been fine if he wasn’t living with his brothers and their sons. Growing up without a motherly figure was interesting for them. Without the womanly influence, they tended to gain more masculine based behaviors and mannerisms along with their names that he let them pick while still young.


Yet when one influence is missing, another takes its place. That being said, the various boys and men Raphael and her sister, Michelangelo had to live with weren't proving to be the best role models. And before the ripe age of 13, they had already experimented with their fare share of addictive substances such as alcohol and smoking as well as various crimes. Petty theft, assault, underage drinking and smoking all under their belts.


But around the end of 10th grade, Raphael and her sister went down entirely different paths. Raph made a more conscious effort in school as well as giving the nicotine a kick in the arse when Angelo kept on spiraling downward. No matter what was said, it didn't motivate her to excel at anything.


Not knowing what became of her sister, and not really wanting too, Raphael is still currently in school working towards a biochemistry major right as these upcoming series of unfortunate events begin to unfold. She had been up late studying when Frank had called her with devastating news. Angelo had been killed, her corpse having turned up a few hours ago with foul play clearly involved as she had been brutally mutilated in more ways then one. The woman was...confused. Yes she was her sister and cared an awful lot about her, though she also knew that she had brought it upon herself with the life she had chose to lead. Still she immediately got up and drove down, comforting her father as he obviously blamed himself no matter what she said.


The funeral was quite large as was her family, and after the larger portion of the service, Raph had finally reached a breaking point. Or close to it anyway. Having left early without any word to anyone, she had gone to be alone and take the edge off of her nerves via smoking, something she hadn't done for a hell of a long time. Though as soon as she lit the cigarette and was about to take a long drag, someone had apparently followed her, demanding she pay off her sister's debts for the money let along with drugs bought. Unable to do so and not really caring at this point due to a slight depression having set in, she told him to rot in hell, which was met with two things.

Now the fall was decent from the wooden platform to the water's surface, enough to daze the panicking woman even more. Swimming was difficult to say the least considering she had a blade sticking out of her leg and any more she made cause it to shift slightly, angering the nerves it has frayed. That and the salt water stung like hell as it entered the wound. But after struggling a bit more, Raph gave up, soon falling unconscious due to the lack of oxygen.


But...instead of dying, which at this point would've been a lovely alternative, a young and curious Moonclan prince had wandered closer to the wooden structure to see what he could find when he noticed Raphael not far off. Wanting to be seen as some noble savor not only to her but to his clan and boost his ego as much as possible, he has pulled her to the surface and after waiting a moment to readjust, dragged her towards a more remote section of a beach. Setting her on the sand, the young boy waited for her to wake. And she did, caught and in the middle of screaming 'fuck' when he went in for a kiss because that's apparently how he thought love worked.

Thought after biting down harshly on his lip before pushing him off, ya'll can imagine what came next..


This was 6 months ago, and Raphael has finally adjusted...sorta...not really. She still holds a prominent scar where her right thigh would be.

bio:she is the perfect representation of a sun clan mermaid. Always with a smile on her face and often found sitting on top of rocks brushing her hair and singing.She might have been the cause of the stereotype of mermaids. She is one of the few mermaids who hold knowledge of lie before Queen Harmony. At that time the king of the moon clan Syphos, a very wise merman respected by both clans, convinced the sun clan that is was best that humans think that mermaids were myth, not population of intelligent beings. one day when she was around 20 she befriended a young boy,around 15 on a trading ship from spain docked on an island. He enjoyed watching her "dance" in the water and would fall asleep listening to her distant singing from the depths. After a month the boys ship was to return withe goods they have received from the natives. Frightened that she would never see him again she asked if he could go with her. To leave this world and join her as a mermaid for the rest of her life. she begged and begged the moon clan to to turn him into a mermaid but the queen refused, turning her away. the boy not being able to part with his beloved friend refused to leave the island. Eventually they had to use force and in the struggle and confusion he fell overboard hitting his head and drowning. The small island became known to the local villagers as island of sorrow because in the silences of the dusk the echoing of a mermaid's cry could be heard throughout the village. This went on for three years and after that Memoria's sadness turn into bitterness and she has shown resentment if the moon clan ever since. SHe doesnt like to talk about the past which isnt really helping anybody since a lot of the clans history was lost with the elders.

Sola is a kind soul who cares for her people. She also loves to have fun and play around. These two things can often clash with one another causing her to get off task. She can be very bubbly and happy when things are going her way or an event is coming up. As much as she can get off task she is trying really hard to stay on task to help run the kingdom. She is a nice person unless you get on her bad side. When you are on her bad side she can become very cold towards you. Don't even mention moon clan to her she doesn't like them very much not just cause they a boring and underdeveloped but also because they seem a bit off to her. She is actually really good at staying level-headed despite her immaturity. When she loses her cool and her temper has finally snapped she becomes extremely violent and scary.

She was raised to respect the ocean but also enjoy it. Her mother the queen taught her everything she knows about the ocean well with a little help from her father the king as well. She loves the oceans creatures very much but she learned at a young age that sometimes you must to things for the greater good of her people. There was a mother sea lion swimming with her pups and some of her friends wanted to go play with the pups but the mother reacted violently. Sola had very little time to react, what she did saved her friends lives but the sea lion died. The pups were young to take care of themselves so she had to get rid of them as well in order to put them out of their misery. She felt horrible but her mother praised her for her bravery and quick thinking. She was happy with the fact she was praised but that didn't hide the fact she killed innocent creatures. She was depressed for a few weeks but has since gotten over it. She would see less and less of her friends as time went by. Her mother would make her do more and more things to help her learn about the responsibilities of being queen. She would go out to the middle of the ocean with her mother and they would work together and move the tides or practice magic. Sometimes they would battle each other until Sola was to tired to fight. Sola learned a lot from her mother when the were out training together. She had gone on diplomatic meeting with her mother to the moon clan to learn about how to run the kingdom and making sure the moon clan is doing their jobs. Her mother and The moon clans queen talked diplomatically at first and then they ended arguing about things back and fourth. Sola was nervous and didn't like how it was going so she tried to intervene. Then the moon clan queen started insulting her personally. This angered Sola to the point where she was about to strike the queen but her mother intervened before she could. Sola has and will hold a grudge against the previous moon clans queen because of that moment.

When she became older and a lot more mature, Sola would go out and about on her own meeting others and playing with sea animals. She would play around with no care in the world and give into her childish desires. Sola had many friends that she would hang out with and they would introduce her to more friends. It was a happy time where everyone would enjoy the ocean. Her mother had called her one day to have her meet, someone. It was a boy she had seen before but had never interacted with until this point. Her father had brought the boy and introduced him to her as her mate. Sola didn't understand at first until they told her they were siblings. Sibling usually mated within the sun clan because there aren't many taboos. She only had one question why had they been separated? Her father explained it was because as queen she needed to focus on her studies instead of worrying about boys. Sola didn't know how to react to this news. Her mother and father left them to figure out for themselves if they wanted to be mates. Sola was a little bit nervous meeting the boy and messed up in the funniest ways possible. He would laugh and Sola would get angry at him for laughing. They began to spend more time together and enjoy each others presence. Sola was ready to give her all to him and that she did.

She became pregnant with her first child. Sola was both excited and scared. She didn't know if she was going to be a good mother or not. Her daughter was born in the middle of a great storm. Sola felt the oceans rage and excitement as she popped the bun out of the oven. She cares greatly for her daughter and sees her as her pride and joy. She was happy and began to raise her child just like her mother did well she might have gotten off task a couple times but all and all she was a great teacher. She felt peace like the ocean had given her a blessing of good fortune. This was until her mother, father and all other important elders disappeared from the ocean itself. She was feeling three things when that happened, Scared, Confused and Enraged. She had suspicions that the moon clan was behind all of it. She had to keep her mouth shut about it of she might start a war. Adjusting to being queen was hard but for now, she seems to have things under control for now anyways. But she just can't seem to have her thoughts wander on if the moon clan's previous queen was behind her mother's death. She just can't well then again she hate the womans guts and would have killed to see her die slowly and horriblely.

When she's angry, she's really angry. When annoyed, she can also be described as petty.
