Futuristic Mental Apocalypse

Madi tensed up as she suddenly felt someone hold her, her eyes flying open. What the hell? Am I being attacked? What's going on?! Upon actually glancing down at the arms around her, she realized it was Isaac. What is he doing?! Get off get off get o-

Madi then heard whistling. It was to a tune that was vaguely familiar. After a moment, she actually relaxed and leaned into his embrace, feeling surprisingly calmer.

Oak found himself holding the old lamp in his hands. Vicky was just sort of groaning on the floor. Was she still awake. Oak stepped back a little. How do you know if someone's knocked out? Oak gripped the lamp uncertainly and turned to Mido.

"That... is one way of stopping an attack." Oak licked his lips. "That was... actually kinda harsh. But impressive. You did that with a glass of water. I hope you didn't hurt her too bad."

Oak leaned over to investigate.

Isaac could feel that Maddy relaxed more and more. Isaac kept on whistling the lullaby he did hear all the commotion in the living room. Hopefully someone in there was atleast trying to control the situation.. *This is just one... Friggin great day...*Isaac thought while continuing to whistle the lullaby. *Hang in there Maddy.. We've been through hell and back.. Just relax* thought Isaac.

Mido once again went to the kitchen. "This is a madhouse." He mumbled to himself, finding a new pint glass, and filled it with water once more.

He walked into the bedroom, trying not to step on the groaning Vicky lying in the living room. "Here drink this, it will help you get some energy back." Mido said to Maddy extending the glass towards her

Madi felt herself unwinding and was actually surprised at how quickly Isaac had managed to calm her. Not even her music was the quick to relax her. She sighed and felt as if all her anxiety was breathed out with it. Sure, she was still covered in blood, an her neck and shoulder hurt like a b****, but it was okay. Right?

Madi looked up as she realized that Mido was standing in front of her. She looked up and although she didn't hear what he had said, she saw the glass being extended to her and reached up to take it. She cursed the fact that her hands still shook. "Thanks."

Mido was about to hand it over when he noticed the shaking. "Oh sorry, let me help you. You are still shaking, your body is in a mild state of shcok. No wonder since you could have di..." Mido almost bit of his own tongue "Sorry." He said, and put the glass to her mouth. "Just drink it, you will need more liquids in your body, especially now. Also you should prepare to be bedridden for the next few days. You will puke a lot from exhaustion." Mido said with a mild and tending voice

Madi raised a brow at Mido's ranting. Half the words he said didn't make sense in the context of the situation. She then realized what the situation must look like; they thought she was having a negative reaction to the procedure?

Madi took the glass from Mido anyway and sipped on it. "Thanks. But this isn't about... Well, you know..." She trailed off, gesturing to her neck.

Isaac nearly out of breath stopped whistling, instead he looked at Mido and smiled. He then edged with his head towards Natalie while keeping eye contact with Mido. Of course. He still swayed back and forth while holding Maddy. He knew that sometimes things just go to the sewer. He had that happend too. Atleast he could help others..

Oak walked inside, treading carefully over the broken glass and, well, Vicky. He poked his head through the door. Mido was helping Maddy drink some water and Isaac seemed to be whistling. He had a nice whistling voice. Did you call that a voice? Oak sighed and rubbed his temples. There were people dropping around him and everyone was just insane. The only people who seemed normal was Mido, but even he was acting really weird. Oak himself, well, he had issues too. So the insane survived. What does that make everyone else? It was all too serious. Where was a good joke when you needed one?

Maddy must be having a hell of a time. Shoulder ripped, throat cut, it was a wonder she was still alive. And, you know, not a zombie.

"You doing okay?" Oak asked. "Because, no offense, I don't think you're used to facing off with someone neck-to-neck with someone like that."

Oak nearly slapped himself. "Sorry, too soon. I just... I'm gonna go. Figure out how to get out of here. We need to get somewhere deserted. With less zombies. I love the city life, but I don't think what we're doing can be called the city 'life.' Isaac, did your family have a car? I think I can maybe fiddle with it a little bit. See what I can do."

Mido nodded to Isaac and stood up. "Mady you will need o drink a lot of water, i mean all this blood, is not going to go back itself. So stay hydrated and you should be fine for the moment." He said and walked to Natalie. She was a mess. Being knocked out from behind had taken its tolls. Her cloth were soaked due to the bathroom, it was hard to tell what blood were hers and maddys or whoever it was. Mido sighed. "Just so you know i am gonna clean her up. She is one big mess." Mido said getting her up on his shoulder. "Isaac, do you have any towels i can use to get the blood off her with?" Mido said looking at Isaac.

Isaac stared at Mido for a short time before nodding towards the bathroom. He slowly let go of Maddy with one of his arms and pointed with his index finger to the last wardrobe in the bedroom too. He sighed afterwards, he could easily feel how tired he was himself again everyone could probably use some sleep around this place. Everything had gone to S**t.. So rest and a healthy breakfast would probably help all of them. But for now he had to stay awake atleast until Maddy was completely okay again.

Madi felt Isaac slump against her back and frowned, taking another sip from her water. The coldness of the liquid chilled her chest but it was like a slap of reality, bringing her back into the present. After a few more breaths, she sighed.

"I'm okay, you know. This happens a lot," Maddy said to him quietly. "You can go."

Isaac nodded to Maddy.. Before falling over dead tired. He couldn't move out of place at. All he did was wave his arm a bit in the air before lying still. *I... Need.....Sleep.....I'm kinda dizzy.... Huh... Must be blood..Related.....* Thought Isaac.. Shortly afterwards he was sound asleep.

"Thanks, It is really needed." Mido said to Isaac. "And Maddy, you stay hydrated, ok?"

Maddy had no time to respond, as Mido pulled Natalie into the bathroom and sat her beside the sink. He walked in the bedroom once more, quickly finding a towel, and walked back into the bathroom. He slowly started to clean Natalies head, neck and shoulder, looking for cuts and bruises, but found none. "You are one lucky bastard." He mumbled, feeling the rush of exhaustion overpowering him.

Mido slumped down beside Natalie, and felt his eyes close as he did so. It had been a day full of surprises, both good and bad. He had acyually found some friends, but they all seemed to be dying in this disastrous world. What would become of them? Mido thought before he faded out of reality and into the dreamworld.

(I am gonna stop for now, it is quite late. I will cya all tomorrow.)

Madi heard a small 'thump' as Isaac suddenly toppled over to the side. She set her water down and turned to him, a baffled expression on her face. Oh great, he's bleeding again. She sighed and stood, hooking Isaac under the arms and dragging him into the living room. Glad that she had left the supplies from earlier out, Madi applied pressure to his arm and dabbed at the claw marks. These zombies are psychopaths! Well, they aren't really zombies, they're just infected. Wait a second, psychopaths... Psychos! That's what we should call them!

Elated with her epiphany, Madi continued to work on Isaac's arm.

Amelia bolted up, her hands at her throat. She relaxed and pulled down her hands, looking around. A boy was sitting next to her and there was a lady in the room next to the bathroom. Suddenly, her head started to pound painfully. "ooooooow!" She complained loudly. "What in the woooooorld that looks nasty lady what happened to your neck?" Her eyes flickered around the room, observing all that she saw. There sure were a lot of asleep people... "Wait, don't answer that. You," She said, pointing at Maddy, "and you," pointing at Oak," beat them all up!"

It really was a fair assumption, seeing as all but the guy next to her was covered in blood on some part of their body.

Madi was surprised to see Natalie awaken in such a hyper state, then realized it was yet another persona. "Um, no actually. They're just sleeping to recover. What's your name?"

Oak jumped up and, realizing that he was still holding the lamp, pointed it at Natalie threateningly. When he heard her talk, Oak squinted a little and knelt down onto his knees. He pursed his lips and looked pointedly at Maddy.

"Yeah, yeah. They're fine."

Oak tried to signal at Maddy, "I remember a very different Natalie. Did you say she had multiple personalities?"

Oak sighed. Great. He was pretty sure this meant that they had to explain the situation to her each time. They needed a system for this. Who was the leader, anyway? Who was in charge?

"I'm Amy!" She smiled at them, then suddenly looked worried. She quickly strode up to Maddy and looked at her neck. "Who tried to slit your throat? And then sewed and burnt your wound?" She looked slightly impressed. "The doctor did a good job."
She pulled up a notepad and a pencil and began taking notes, looking up at her neck.

Madi furrowed her brows in confusion but tilted her head to allow "Amy" to examine it. She had a feeling that this persona was intellectual and that she should answer her questions.

"The one who sewed up my neck would be Mido. He's sprawled in the bathroom asleep right now," Madi explained. She paused a bit, debating on telling her about her other persona's. It seemed like a good thing to do, though her critical thinking was shot, and she decided to tell her. "The person who attacked me was another version of you."

Oak cleared his throat. "Maddy, we should probably first check with... Amy if she even knows about her... condition. Anyway, too late now. I'm Oak, this is Maddy. We're mentally disordered and everyone without a mental disorder is a zombie. Long story."

Oak watched as Amy continued to scribble in her notes.

"Uh," Oak said, "Is this a Memento thing? If it is, frankly, I'm glad you aren't doing tattoos. I don't think any of us are tattoo artists."

Amy cocked her head, and thought about it for a moment. Her eyes suddenly brightened. "Multiple personalities? Interesting. How many personalities do i have, then? And how many have you seen? Ooh, and what did they act like?" She seemed excited. She looked around. "Obviously one is evil..." She looked at what she was wearing. "A sword... Military! And me, of course... who am i missing? Obviously I'm the original. Oh, and hi, Oak! I just like to take notes, that's all. Zombie... hmm."

"Uh... alright then," Madi said slowly, surprised by how quickly Amy accepted her condition. "One of you is Valkyrie, she's very... military, you're right. The evil one, I'm not sure what her name is. You're the fourth one we've met. The other personality is Natalie. And they aren't really zombies. Not really."

Oak nodded, feeling his eyebrows relax. Thankfully, Amy seemed to be taking it alright. Oak finally set down the lamp and sat down on the floor.

"So that's four," Oak said, scratching his chin. He picked up the first-aid and started roughly bandaging his shoulder. "You really don't remember anyone mentioning your personalities? Ever? In your life? It's kinda... hard to miss. No offense. Well, anyway. Glad you're nice. Your evil one tried to practice her knife-throwing skills on us."

"Oh please, you don't know the half of it," Madi muttered bitterly. She moved over beside Oak and swatted away his hands, taking the bandages from him and unwrapping what he had done. "Clean it first or it'll get infected."

She got up and rushed out to the living room to grab the medical supplies, then returned and sat facing Oak. "This might sting a little."
