Medieval Fantasy (Actual RP)

Lucem had been so occupied with thinking of how to approach the prince, he didn't notice that they had went back into the building. He released a sigh, as he jumped off his perch on the roof and landed in front of the front entrance. 'Hopefully I don't get arrested for barging in on a royal uninvited.' He knocked on the doors, hoping to be heard. 'If no one answers, I might have to find a place to stay in the city tonight.' He had knocked loudly enough, so whether or not the door was answered, was up to the prince.

(I haven't received any alerts for this, since my last post. I missed quite a bit.')

Leticia stumbled, fighting the demons grip. The sword shattered back into darkness and Leticia pulled her feet out of the demons tail, using swing them both up and toward her stomach in a pushing motion, before falling to the ground in a sitting position of sorts.

Katrina grunted as her feet met her stomach and she staggered back. Her balance was thrown off, and she landed painfully on her back. She slowly started to get back onto her feet, her heart racing. She had to win...she just had to. "If you're...the princess, I need you to come with me." She growled, "I will not lose...this fight..." She sheathed her blade and lunged forward, her sharp claws aiming at the falling girl's shoulders to try and pin her down.

"I bite," Leticia said, dully. She showed no presence of fatigue on her face, though she was very exhausted, and the girl was bigger than her. She snapped at the girls claws, before escaping with a roll to the side. She then got up and dusted her skirts off, her eyes glowing red. She then looked at the dying vampire in the corner. A source of energy would be the only thing he'd be good at now. She got closer to him, biting down on the major vein in his neck. The blood felt cool and tangy, and she quickly got more energy. It only took her a few seconds, as she stood, wiping blood of her mouth with the back of her hand. "You can't win, so losing is the only option you have. Why should I come with you? You should have said something like this in the beginning, for now you are my enemy, and only that." She was back up to full speed, forming another blade, going after the girl again, with fast, graceful swipes.

Katrina growled, "I don't need you to come with me as an ally, but a prisoner." she hissed. She suddenly was taken off guard when the vampiress went to her captive guard and sucked his blood. Her heart sank, she didn't mean for him to be killed. How barbaric was this princess to do such a thing?

Katrina didn't have time to think. She held her blade and went on the defensive, blocking blow by blow. Her energy levels were sinking fast as well, and her exhaustion was clear as she stepped back with each powerful blow. The vampire was re-energized, and she herself was getting weaker by the second. Taking a deep breath, Katrina waited for another blow to pass before unleashing another blast of fire right towards the vampiress's face.

Leticia stepped back, still being effected by a bit of the fire. She swung around the girl and kicked at her from the back, following by much faster swipes, then pushing herself away to speak. "I am prisoner of no one, and even if you put me in a cage, I am still not a prisoner. That's too cliché. What do you think this is? A twisted fairy tale. You do realize that this would make you the villain. Then again, most intruders are villains. You made the first move on innocent people. Yes, we are vampires, and many of us have committed murder, but some of these people only do it to survive, not to mention, if we didn't we'd be pushed back and taken over. What would I know, I'm just royalty I don't know a thing because I'm always in my castle. You're probably thinking that, after what I've said, aren't you," Leticia pauses and closes her eyes, turning away, before turning back and opening them once more, not waiting for an answer, "I don't care what you think. I've seen more pain than you, yet I'm younger than you. I'm not heartless. I think." She continues to keep a straight face before coming back at her with an extremely powerful charge, as her sword begins to grow off of her energy and the darkness of the cave surrounding them.

Katrina's eyes narrowed, "I'm only after one thing, and that's to free someone dear to me!" She was distracted by the talking, that she wasn't expecting the next blow so soon. As she was charged, she barely had time to hold her blade up in defense before the blow struck and she was sent flying against a nearby tree. She snarled as a sharp pain ran through her back, having struck a sharp branch. She felt blood run down her back and she fell to all fours, her blade clattering to the ground as she panted, trying to get her bearings as the world swam around her.

Leticia did nothing after that. She looked towards the vampire's body, feeling no sorrow. She sat down, holding a bit of energy left as her sword shattered and her own wounds were beginning to hurt again. Her dress was burnt and cut up. Such a shame, for it was one of her favorite ones.

Tynar growled even more loudly as the smell of a horse came into view. "Just what I wanted..." Her jaws became dripping wet with saliva, and she stepped forwar silently, fanning her wings out slightly in prepare of attack.

[@Little*Dreamer @jj9095]

“Not much you can do when your home is destroyed by the vampires.” He watched his pup carefully. “Unfortunately our kind don’t gain the ability to change to human form till about 3 years of age.”

Cuddling the pup in his arms he stood back up.

“I hope your prepared, The vamps will sweep through this land like they did ours. Nothing will be left here except pain and suffering." He paused for a moment, taking a breath as if recalling painful memories, “As long as your OK with it, we will camp here but leave in the morning.”

The little pup looked at her, giving big puppy eyes and whimpering. The mother came over and licked the puppy on the snout.

Around that time, The man finally noticed an oddly dressed young girl. She seemed about as out of place as they were, wanderers in a strange land.

“Now if you don’t mind, would you both please leave us be. We have a long trek ahead of us at dawn.”

[@everyone in the forest LOL I checked and i didnt see a post nico lol.]

The forest was very dense but it was mostly a bush barrier. after a few moments, he passed through it and apparently ahead of Thalia as she could not be seen yet. But there infront of him was a lake with a very, veeery large dragon in front of him. The horse freaked out and with a loud cry it’s legs rose up. The unexpected action placed Jason on his back on the ground.

“Umph...” He let out a squeal as he hit. “I heard that, if you eat my horse, there’ll be hell to pay you fiend!!!” He got up to his feet quickly. Raising an arm, light began to form in his right palm.

[@Lucem Tenebris]

Yovan’s ear twitched as his head was rubbed, but it did so at the faintest sound of a knock. His head turned towards the Princesses bedroom door.

“If you’ll excuss me little princess, i’ll return. Apparently you’re not the only guest tonight.”

Jumping off her lap and then the bed, he headed out the door and down the hallway. Within an instant Yovan turned from the cute little kitty to a large, man eating Dire Wolf of sorts. Auburn red hair with white on parts, and elongated pointy ears, almost like fur covered elf ears. The only part of him that remained was his bright baby blue eyes.

His eyes met level with the young man as thats how big the wolf stood. With a calm greeting he spoke, his russian accent heavily noticable in his voice.

“How may I help you this evening?” Yovan’s hulking body blocking entry into the home.

Lucem gave a curt bow to the wolf-like creature. "Please forgive for the intrusion. I would like to request an audience with the king." It probably seemed odd for, what appeared to be a human, showing no fear in front of a large beast, but he had plenty of experience with creatures like these. He had met many different species in his travels, so he was well aware of how to interact with them. It seemed like the wolf creature had bought his disguise as a human. Mixed breeds weren't well received from what he has experienced, especially a mix of two polar opposites. He possessed both the darkness of a Shadow Demon and the purity of an Angel. The feeling had always been weird, but he has grown accustomed to it.

Nico walked out of the shadows of the throne room. "The king and queen are not in. You may speak to me though." He said with authority. He looked at Lucem "What is it you need?"

Katrina panted desperately for breath. The vampiress looked ready to stop fighting, but Katrina knew her father was relying on her...she slowly got to her feet, sheathing her blade, but allowing flames to dart around her claws, "I...I'm not done yet..." She hissed, though her exhaustion was clear. "I..won't...won't be defeated..."

Lucem gave another bow when the prince appeared. "I came here, hoping to receive help with an investigation. I'm sure that the royal family should know something." One of his parents was a Shadow Demon, the same race as the royal family. All demons have been to this city at least once in their life, so he suspected that their might be some records he could find.

Nico looked at Lucem and tapped his chin. "If you wish to receive help, you should tell me what your investigation his about." he said kindly "I'm sure with more information, I could help." He said smiling.

Tynar hissed. "What else shall I eat? Old fish? Then cough the bones in your face?!" She slyly moved over some rocks, as she neared closer, examining the light in his palm. Tynar roared fiercely at it, and snapped her jaws shut near him as a warning of her power behind those bones.

"I've been investigating the deaths of two people. One of them was a Shadow Demon. I was thinking there might be some records of them being in Shadagon." Lucem was relieved that the prince appeared willing to help. He might get the information faster than he thought.

Nico smiled and clasped his hands together "I'm sure our library has their death records or any other records. If you want, I can show you to the library. From there the Librarian can help you." He said and turned around and headed down a hallway "Follow me."

Lucem nodded in thanks and followed the prince. He was very lucky to be able to view the royal library. He had heard rumors that it contained records and books not found anywhere else. Right now, the probability of finding a record was good. However, he wasn't sure if there would be any death records. He and his parents did not live in a kingdom, due to the inter-special marriage. They lived and died in a secluded area, so he should be the only one to know of their deaths. However, there were plenty of other records to find.

Juniper leaves the den if it was true vampires were coming, maybe she should warn her village. She wasn't sure they would believe her. She walked back to her apple tree thinking hard about it. She leaned agains the trunk sliding down to the floor. The couldn't lie about something like that, right? She pondered over what to do sighing.

Kyro knew the fight was practically over, he looked at his daughter, tired and slightly damaged. He glanced at Katrina, not much was left of her, he could smell the blood dripping from her back, he could sense the fear in her bravery. There was slight compassion in Leticia, if this demon played her cards right, not only would she live but would have a new friend to boot.

This was a concern.

Kyro reached into his pocket revealing an amulet, a necklace worn by the demons father. Ultorem managed to grab it from the camp he was held in to show the king of their latest success. Holding it in his palm, Kyro leaped forward through the air landing between the two girls.

Maintaining eye contact with Katrina he lifted his hand into the air, she flinched for a moment, until the amulet in his hand was lowered by its chain. Throwing the necklace to the frightened girl, he paused to speak.

"That was your fathers. You leave now, and you just might live long enough to see him again."

There was hesitation in the girls eyes, Kyro stepped forward, clenching his fists, "Now." He ordered raising his voice higher.

Katrina was caught off guard as the other vampire joined in. As she looked up at his stature and his eyes, she suddenly realized who she was in the presence of. A deep fear started to grab at her heart and as he threw the amulet towards her, she shakily reached out for it and picked it up, her eyes brimming with tears...he knew...

At his commanding voice, she backed away. How did he know...? When he barked one last time, she backed off and then darted off into the woods, clenching onto the amulet like her life depended on it. Her father was alive...he had to be...she knew she wasn't strong enough to fight the vampire king...especially in her state. She needed help. As she staggered through the woods, she slammed into the sides of trees, not paying attention to where she was going. Eventually her exhaustion got the best of her and she collapsed on the ground, quite a ways away from the vampires. She curled up in a ball and held the necklace close to her chest, crying softly in the forest.

Leticia grabbed the dead vampire and dragged him out of the cave, two large, dark wings unfurling from her back. She carried him by his shoulders, being weighted down a bit by his dead weight. She let herself fall to the ground, landing gently in a standing position, panting heavily. She looked around and saw the demon was gone, but saw that her father was standing not far from herself. She kept her normal straight face, but knew that she was going to get lectured.

[Yovan Talking to Nico, Lucem and Princess Jo]

Yovan turned as Lord Nico addressed the young man. Something was off about him. Not in an evil way, just in one of those, he was not who he truly appeared type of ways. But it was what it was.

“I’ll leave you two with your business.” He commented at the young lord and the young man. “Just whistle if you need me.”

Yovan headed back upstairs, taking step by step quietly he stood in front of the Princesses door once more. Lifting his paw, he tapped the door three times.

“Do you mind if I come back in Princess?” His rusky accent making it nearly hard to understand him with the soft, low tone he took.

The, now wolf form kitty, paused and waited for a reply patiently.

[Jason addressing the dragon. Godmodding is for sake of story, if you really dont agree ill change post.]

“Fine fine, you may not be a fiend, but you will not eat my horse, me or the Princess.”

As the light grew in his hand, it flashed blinding everyone in the area for a split second. When their sight came back Jason had began to charge the dragon. Taking two bounds then jumping up, vines burst from the ground from behind Tynar wrapping around both wings and pulling them back and vines from either side of the man burst forth wrapping around the horns upon the dragons head.

Forcing his left hand up, a table formed of stone, rising from the ground and the vines pulled the dragon’s head down flat on it. With his right arm cocked he thrust it forward as a sword formed from solid light, taking shape of the sword the Queen used. But even with this swift attack, he stopped inches form the animals skull. With a fierce look upon his face he spoke.

“Instead of acting like a child, next time ask for food, instead of demanding. Even as a dragon, you are not always the strongest.”

The light dispersed from his hand, the vines loosened and released Tynar. Holding his hand out the vine on his left uncurled, releasing seeds into the mans hands before all the vines turned brown then into dust and falling away.

Getting down on his knees he placed his hand with the seeds palm down on the stone table. Moments passed before sprigs of a plant began to grow out from inbetween his fingers. Finally removing his hand it could be seen that 5 trees began to grow.

“...I’d step back.” Jason said.

Getting back up he took a few paces in reverse as the tree began to grow faster. After gaining momentum, when it was about as tall as Jason himself, the 5 trees began to swirl together. The 5 individual trees were small, but the 5 of them together were very large. The roots spread making a huge sturdy base and after only about a minute the tree, lush and green and brimming full of bright red apples was nearly as tall as the electrically endowed Dragon of Ol’.

Jason smiled before turning around to see his horse had ran off in all the commotion. Then that smile turned into a frown. He sighed...
