• Constituent Matter Generation: Raptine can generate tentacle-like appendages from various parts of his body, which he often uses either in combat situations or to restrain someone.
  

• Constituent-Matter Manipulation: Raptine can morph sections of his body, such as his hands or feet, into bladed weaponry such as spikes, blades, or axes. Raptine can also detach these bladed weaponry if he chooses to. For example, he often forms spikes that he expels from his body. The weaponry, however, disintegrates after being separated from his body after a period of about 30 seconds.

• Poison Touch: Due to the Raptine symbiote being bonded to Perkins when poison flowed through his veins, the organic matter of the suit is actually composed of poisonous materials. For the humans without specific protection or immunity, merely touching the stuff will seep poison into their system, paralyzing or even killing them in large doses. • Immune to mind (reading) control/high resistance to mental illusions: Like his father, Carter's will power renders him immune to all attempts at reading and controlling his mind. It also makes it enormously difficult to project illusions in order to fool him within his own brain.
  
• Genius Level Intelligence: Though not on the level of his father or Reed Richard's peers, Carter is considered by the average human as a "genius" via his IQ level and intellect. Perhaps with time and the proper tutelage he may reached that stage, but for now his mental prowess remains at where he's at now.

• Extreme sensation: Raptine can't tolerate extreme heat, cold, anything, and will weaken the bond between Perkins and the symbiote
  
• Sound attacks: Raptine, unlike Toxin and Carnage, have Venom's weakness in that extreme pitched sounds will affect the symbiote, forcing it to detach off of Perkins if exposed to it for a while.
  

History: A secret love child between Morgan le Fay and Victor von Doom, Carter was not unlike Caroline le Fay. Unlike Caroline though, his mother couldn't bare to be with Carter for long periods of time, his appearance even as a babe reminding her too much of Victor. Thus Carter was sent to an orphanage in Victor's time, and grew up there with a given name of Perkins instead.


An immensely bright child, Carter inherited the brain and untapped magical potential of both his mother and father. He also has Doom's willpower, which anyone who knows Doom could see clearly in his eyes. In fact, while he isn't identical to his father, he carries himself subconsciously enough that along with the similarities would know instantly who he probably related to. Carter graduated high school at 16 and then got his bachelor's degree in engineering at 18 from MIT before moving to work for a firm in New York.


When Victor von Doom disappeared and Lucia von Bardas wanted to solidify her power in Latveria, she found out about Carter's parentage. Wanting to eliminate Carter early to avoid a possible usurper to her power, she sent assassins after him. They were successful in their mission and Carter found himself on the verge of death after eating a meal poisoned by them. There, on his deathbed in a New York hospital, a newly birthed symbiote from Toxin found him. Its existence, kept secret by Toxin due to Venom and Carnage's hunt for him, required a host and found a particularly vulnerable but strong one in Carter. Too weak to stop it, Carter could watched as the moving sludge moved over his body and formed a new suit.


To the symbiote's surprise, Carter's willpower overwhelmed it immediately, rendering it a loyal servant to him almost before it finished latching on to him. When it tried to influence Carter's feelings or control even a fraction of his body, it felt immense pain being driven into it from Carter's auto psyche, and even more when Carter made a decision to actually do it. From then on he felt his body strengthened, and left the hospital a day after the "miracle" happened. Since then, the symbiote lives in the shadow of Carter's clothing when not a suit.


Even before his college education, Carter's been determined to find out who his mother and father truly are. He believes that by finding out, he could understand himself more and become even stronger, as well as maximize his potential, which he inexplicably felt isn't at its max at the moment. Now he wants that even more, to understand why someone tried to kill him, as well as get even with his would be killers.

Parker, as Spider-Man, eventually arrived to fight Venom and with his secret exposed to his parents already, Miles aided. After a long talk, Parker agreed to train Miles to use his powers with responsibility as long as he kept his grades up in school. A couple years went by and Miles was known as New York's second Spider-Man and offered a membership into the Avengers. He now helps with mostly ground level threats, like in Parker's younger years, and often teams up with the other young heroes like Nova, Ms. Marvel, the Young Avengers, etc.

• Superhuman Strength: Miles is able to cause harm to a super powered individual with a single punch. His physical strength also extends into his legs, enabling him to be able to jump to a height of several stories in a single bound.

Helpless to his soon death, the pressure weighed heavily on him, no matter how much he tried he couldn't escape it, death was coming upon him. A light, a short flash, it was his life flashing before his eyes. His short unspent life, the scarce minute he had come into consciousness flashing before him. A light shined upon him in the darkness, a light that shouldn't exist, a light so pure gods would give up their immortality for it. Like a creature tasting food for the first time, David had his first taste of power. As if he were made to do so he blasted to the surface within meager seconds. For the first time in his life he was bathed in the light of the sun, he could feel it warming his inhuman skin and his freshly made muscles. Through his travels he learned that he was not a being of this world or he wasn't anymore.

She is a fiesty young woman with a heart of gold and an eye for mischeif. She never ceases to amaze and carries an air of authenticity about her even in her darker times. Jessie was once loved by her parents but even if she likes helping others, the notion of physical contact is not a strong point for her. After her mother passing down her own abilities to Jessie, her DNA containing the DNA of several different types of spiders while she was, Jessie Drew developed superhuman powers patterned after several different types of spiders when she was born. Jessie is superhumanly strong and is able to lift around seven tons at her peak. She also possesses superhuman speed, stamina, agility, and reflexes. Jessie's body is more resistant to injury than an ordinary person, allowing her to take far more physical punishment compared to an ordinary human. Jessie also possesses superhuman hearing and smell, the latter of which allowed her to distinguish a life model decoy from the real Nick Fury at one point. Jessie's palms and soles secrete a special fluid that allows her to cling to solid objects, like a true spider. Jessie's physical makeup also makes her highly resistant to all terrestrial poisons, toxins, and completely immune to radiation. While she is typically rendered dizzy by the initial dose, she is completely immune to it after being exposed again. She also exudes a high concentration of pheromones that elicit pleasure and attraction in men and revulsion in women, although she typically uses a chemical "perfume" that renders these pheromones inert. Jessie's body also produces an inordinate amount of bio-energy, which she can discharge from her hands. She refers to these discharges as "venom blasts", just as her mother did, although they actually have nothing to do with poison and typically cause pain and unconsciousness, and Jessie can kill a man in the same way that a lightning bolt would and can pierce solid metals like steel by using her blasts at their greatest intensity. Jessie is also able to glide through unknown means using the web-like extensions of her costume, but seems to have gained the power to fly longer distances after her mother also learnt. Jessie has lost her powers in numerous ways and on several occasions, but after returning to Earth at the end of the Secret Invasion, Jessica's powers were restored and are currently greater than ever.


In addition to her powers, she is also a superb hand-to-hand combat fighter, and has trained in several styles of fighting including boxing, judo, karate, and capoeira, learned under the training of the HYDRA, and their Taskmaster. She has also had training in fencing and the use of many other weapons. Jessie was trained by HYDRA (and later on by S.H.I.E.L.D.) in covert operations, stealth, espionage, and information gathering and is a superb athlete.
