The Wild Hunt was going to kinda be this ghostly band of spirit hunters that track down ghosts and force them into the afterlife wether they want to or not. Die in glorious warface and you may join them. Great warriors like Napolian Boneparte, Gengis Khan and others who fought great wars would be riding with the hunt, including Boudicca, the woman who stood up to the roman army after the killed her husband, beat her and did unspeakable things to her daughters. Literal warrior queen who is now a wraith rider for the hunt.

There was this Chinese pirate lady who was so effective that the chinese government offered her land and Amnesty to stop pirating and she then went to become the most wealthy Madame in all of china....

Unfortunately the name is lost to me but she is one of the top 7 badasses of history.

ooooh i know of her too! Was actually considering her to be the member of the wild hunt that'd help the mutants but the idea of it being boudicca kinda fits better. Because I kinda forsee her being a complete ghostly badass and kicking teeth in with zero fucks given.

Another person on that list was a viking warrior who held an army of thousands at bay for 3 days by himself because he was on the only bridge across a river for dozens of miles. So for 3 days this guy smashed anyone who tried to cross the bridge. Horseback knights, archers, numbers, all meaning dick as he cleaved everything to ribbons.

Eventually the army snuck a boat under the bridge and stuck spears through the bottom to get him. He died and that army was so in awe that they buried him and gave him legitimate funeral rights for their people.

^^^ wiliam wallace. He'd probably also be a part of the hunt. I'd assume achilles as well. Basically anyone who fought bloody and brutal battles, proving themselves as warriors can ride with the hunt after death.

Achilles would probably be at the top of the list. Dude's fought numerous wars and never suffered a major injury aside from the heel shot. His rage is basically OG Wolverine, where in the Trojan War myth, he found out that Patroclus died and was so angry that he killed thousands of men- so many that the river god fought him because the bodies were clogging the whole river. After massacring a god, he chased Hector around Troy three times. Man is a legitimate monster.

yeeeash Achilles was an absolute beast! There'd definately be a BUNCH of very recognizable historical figures like that. Basically a collection of history's dead badasses

I actually have him as an OC anti-villain to Wonder Woman in another rp (I actually play WW at the same time so... it's kinda weird). But ye, he's enslaved by Ares who he's gon' kill to become a better god of war, right after he takes Mjolnir from Thor for godkiller metal and Aphrodite betrays her former lover to help Achilles o-o

It made me happy that they didn't bring him up in God of war. Him heating hercules was already a slap in the face.

Ehhhh... it would technically be easier to beat Hercules over any other hero going off of Greek mythology tropes. The younger generations always overthrow the elders.

Depends on your opinion i personally dont like it.

And if thats the case then kratos and herc came from the same generation. Hercules did some crazy things in his lore. From beating gods while unarmed to wrestling titans and pushing continents. He is actually a total freakin savage and in my opinion wouldve reversed roles with kratos and pounded HIS face into ground beef.

Wha- Hercules is an Argonaut. Sparta would be like... Trojan War at the very least and Seven Against Thebes at the very best. But eh, Kratos literally pushed Cronos' hand off after getting smashed by a thunderclap and Heracles has never really gone up against blades before, so... yanno...
