Ok im back. The offensive plan seems to be fine. We will be heading to new york anyway to drop off something for reed so an assault on a shield facility would be doable.

It stands to reason...after all they vanished in almost the same way as red skull minus the pillar of light. And adam warlock vanished in a similar way in the comics when he was absorbed into the stone.

While I'm highly interested in the comics, I've never actually read any of them ^^; Namely cause I have no clue where to start, and I don't really have the money to get into it.

Start with either avengers or x men.
They both branch off into dozens of other stories with individual heroes.
And many can be found online for cheap. Or your local comic shop.

my char tries to talk beast + forge into gathering their contacts and launch a full scale assault on new york, beast says she's crazy and storms off into the current scene where he meets with morph angel and shadow leaving ordnance waiting in the shack
beast mentions something about dropping off a package to reed in new york on the way back to the shack, to which ordnance overhears and convinces him to let her join

Sounds good to me go ahead and enact it. The assault on new york would be shut down but probably not very long. Once the New york avengers find out about the sanctuary there it will likely erupt into full scale war in manhattan.

yup the siren. Meeting him in his territory is never a good idea so maybe having him already on land and trying to learn things? Basically have any conversation on a beach and it'll attract the curious little bugger. Or I could have him just drag in a surder. Thats always fun. then someone's gotta figure out how to feed the fish without losing a finger... or an arm... or their face.
