After about five to seven minutes Alex gets back, giving Victoria a piggyback ride "That's everyone I think, let's see if we can get some hot cocoa in you Vi." he says, he mentions to the tree "Any gifts not yet under the tree, please put it there."

Victoria sighs in relief at the warmth inside, she thought she'd be fine walking, but apparently that could take a while "Atreus, can I go back with you tomorrow? I don't want to walk again."

Atreus gives her a quick kiss."Yeah, you could've called me if you needed to be picked up you know." He does offer her his jacket if she wanted it though he hesitates to take the gum from the girl.

Thalia gets some of the hot cocoa done and the first one might as well go to Vi so she brings it out to her."Just hot cocoa, not my places so I can't say on the other food." She puts it plainly.

bailey put the gum back into her purse and kept her jacket on. "w-was I supposed to bring a gift? I-I didn't know, i can run out and get something" She really wanted to fit in and was trying her best

"We made lists and everything." Victoria says and she frowns "I mean, even Atreus and Thalia got that much without actually ubdeestanding the holiday.", she gives Thalia a smile in thanks as she sits down "I know Atreus, I just want to be able to walk around in the winter without panicking."

Alex pinches the bridge of his nose as he points out "You might wanna rethink that plan, you think I was carrying Victoria for fun? It's snowing too hard and let me tell you, she was complaining the first half miniute."

Atreus sits down with her and puts an arm around her shoulder."You should take it slow with that, I could walk you home in the snow or take you to the compound." He offered.

Thalia nods at her and goes to give one to Alexander."Me and Atreus already did some shopping for gifts." She grabs a cup for herself before sitting down.

"pardon me but which one here is victoria?" Bailey was a bit anti-social and didn't really know anybody here. She looked out the window seeing how bad the snow was and mumbled "it may be bad, but it's very pretty"

 

[Flame Demon]

Alex facepalms and says "Literally the only person who needed help getting here.", he mentions to the girl who's leaning against Atreus "I'll go get some snacks, please make sure Bailey doesn't pester Vi too much."

"I'd like to try that, without the snowfall if you don't mind." Victoria mumbles "Leg hurts too, thought I dressed warm enough for the cold."

Atreus knew his body warmth wouldn't be much to warm her up as he did run colder."Maybe once the snow storm has settled down or once most of the snow is gone." He held her close."Did you bring something for your leg?" He asks her.

Bailey sat by herself keeping somewhat quiet. She tried her best to be friendly but in this moment decided it was best she not speak much. Bailey checked her phone anxiously and felt a little bit panicked. "wheres the um bathroom?" she spoke up

 

[Flame Demon]

"No." Victoria huffs "I had to focus my magic on not slipping and falling too, so that didn't help." she mumbles and she sighs in annoyance "I didn't know it would be this bad okay?"

"Across the door from this one in the hall." Alex says as he helps Thalia with the hot cocoa, teaching her some tricks to make it faster.

"t-thank you" Bailey heads to the bathroom and locks the door as she sits on the floor hyperventilating a little. "just breathe bailey, just breathe. your going to embarrass yourself in front of them" She was anxious and nervous having a minor panic attack.

 

[roxas]

Atreus pouts at her."You should've brought something just incase just like I have to carry around that epipen thing." He fusses at her, he wraps his arms around her."Just be more careful." He tells her.

Thalia hands out the rest of the hot cocoa."I had it handled." She ruffled Alexander's hair, she was surprised he invited others to his house anyway though.

Bailey came back to join the others. "so um what's everyone's powers?" she asked trying to be friendly and make conversation with the others. "if it's okay for me to ask"

 

[Flame Demon]

"I know, but if dad just allowed me to make a portal here I wouldn't have this problem right now." Victoria says and she focuses her magic on her leg.

"Just don't hog the toilet!" Alex calls after Bailey left and he sighs "So do we have all the presents here?" he asks. When Bailey comes back he signs "And nope, no work related talks today, just have fun." he says "Though did you really forgot to get gifts for a Christmas party?"

"i guess i was a little scatter brained i'm sorry i really truly am" bailey said as she fidgeted with her hands. "OH NO! wait i did remember!!" she pulls a small round box from her bag that was wrapped with a gold bow.

Atreus gently rubs her shoulders, he really only focused on getting her something and half assed it on Alexander's gift since he didn't really know him."Why didn't he let you?" He asks her.

 

[Flame Demon]

Alex facepalms "So we posted the lists of things we want in the chat for you to ignore them?" he asks and he sits down.

Victoria groans in annoyance "I wanted to, then he took my sling ring and said, and I quote 'It's time to face your fears honey, I'll see you back at the sanctum tomorrow evening', so that." she says "Scared to death whenever a car came too close to the walkway."

Atreus pouts at that."Then would you be in trouble if I took you home? Might be easier with someone with you rather than you going by yourself." He sighed a little.

"no no i read it i went out and bought something but it was extremely hard to find, i searched every store and it took me 3 days to find it" Bailey was very bad at keeping secrets.

 

[Flame Demon]

"So you got one present?" Alex asks, god this girl was confusing as hell, but team bonding is team bonding.

"Oh one of the presents I got isn't here yet, but dad would send it over." Victoria tells Alex, she had no time to wrap up her last present, if she wanted to be there on time anyway, so her mother offered to do it for her so her father could send it over.

bailey sighs "do you mind meeting me in the kitchen alex? for a moment" Bailey felt bad she wasn't making a good impression but she had a solution to get them to like her a bit more "5 minutes that's all I ask"

 

[Flame Demon]

"This is my house Bailey and these are your teammates, we don't do secrets. I mean, Atreus thought he could keep a wolf a secret, he failed." Alex points out "Just like how we know Vi will never ever get in a car or get near one if she can help it, Thalia needs some extra help blending in and Atreus only really listens to Vi." he sums up.

"And Alex sometimes decided to stop talking to everyone, we're not perfect, we're not expecting you to be perfect either." Victoria points out.

"it's not that, i just I...." Bailey fidgeted with her hands and hyperventilated a little. "m-maybe I should get some air" she felt herself nervous and a bit embarrassed "i'm sorry I just wanted to fit in"

 

[Flame Demon]

"My point is, you can tell me what you want to say with everyone in the room." Alex deadpans and he takes a deep breath, god he was getting annoyed "Don't mind me asking Bailey, but why are you on this team? Aside from Bruce and Fury."

"well i'm on this team for the same reason as everyone else. To be a hero and to bring safety and hope to the city and the world." bailey spoke with honesty and truth. "isn't that what any good hero believes?"
