kurt jumps into the portal walking into the cafeteria with the two , "not used to teleporting like that " he says he listens to them talk "i supose putting him with pietro would work , either that or put him solo and see what he does , maybe he's better at that , i mean alot of heroes are "

"That's a no on the extra food then." Victoria mumbles and she stands up once she thinks she has enough "And because I'm the weird kid with the damaged leg and the cane." she says "People look at me with pity when I have to use the cane at school..."

"Why would we go after wolves?" Alex asks "The traps will be too small and we have no need for anything wolf related." he explains "Plus, killing wolves would disrupt the natural balance."

"Yeah let's suggest that to Fury." Stephen says "Also Kurt, a hero might be good alone, but teamwork will safe your life if you have no other choices, it's a neccesary skill to have."

kurt nods "i supose that is true , but i wouldnt know how it is being solo , being on a team since the begining is good" he responds "but the fury thing , i dont think he likes me enough to listen to me "

john sits infront of the cabin , alone " how the hell did i screw this one up" he says to himself slamming his hand on the ground next to him.

Atreus takes hold of her hand to place a kiss on her hand."That's not what you're all about...people judge me for being the son of Loki, the weird loner kid you shouldn't trust." He then grabs a handful of and gets her pressed up against a tree with his free hand on it, the other held the snow between them and starting making it form an ice rose for her.

Thalia had grabbed some rope from one of the supply bags she could used for a trap, she glanced at John briefly."I'm just saying and there's bound to be some out here so I'd rather not disturb them." She explains."What we want is like rabbits or deer or elf or moose, whatever is out here." She tells him.

Loki gets into the kitchen and check what there is."Just like a villain, they'll have goons or underlings but teamwork sometimes doesn't work with them." He shrugged."Let me grab something to eat first then we can go." He tells them.

Stephen nods "But didn't you bring any food for babysitting?" he asks "Also it's Fury, he might not like everyone, but he listens to people, mostly."

"If they get in our traps we can't do anything other then freeing them." Alex tells her "Mom said to respect the balance of nature when I'm out hunting." he adds, he just hoped there were still animals around.

Victoria blushes a bright red and she takes the rose slowly "Thanks." she mumbles, however the moment has to be ruined when snow falls on them from a branch above them.

Atreus smiles softly, his cheeks lightly dusted, he wasn't flirty or overly romantic so this was a leap for him."You're welcome." He was about to speak up on if she felt anything for him but then the snow fell on them and brushes his off himself with a laugh."So um...I don't kmow I could take you on a date you know sometimes, if you'd like." He fiddles with his fingers.

Thalia goes to set up the trap then goes for a net trap."That's what I've been taught as well and how to respect others too but you can guess my father didn't teach me those things." She laughed a little.

Loki waved his hand."Eh well I foraged a little and mostly just brought with some fruit and granola bars, wanted to pack light." He explains as he makes a sandwich and grabs a bag of chips."This Midgard food is something else." He mumbled.

"Sure, but maybe when the weather's a bit... warmer." Victoria says as she brushes the snow of herself "Let's go back inside. I know you don't get cold, but I do." she says, that and they wouldn't find much else when it came to foraging.

"I guessed that." Alex says, moving to a new location for a trap "At least we have electricity here, but we should probably avoid turning on the heating." he says while dismantling an arrow so he can use it for a trap.

"How come?" Stephen asks "I don't think the food's any special. Though I guess it depends on several other things."

Atreus gives her a quick but gentle hug at that, having a smile present and trying to hide some excitement to her agreeing."I've got something in mind, it could be after this mission too." He offered."Right, sorry I didn't mean to make you stay out here longer than you wanted to be." His awkwardness coming back there.

Thalia laughs again, she gets the traps done in her area."I haven't been around your mother much though." She glanced at him."Least we have blankets then." She stands.

Loki walks with him to get to Fury's office if he was there."Well you got to think of where I come from, we don't have a large variety of meals and snacks like these." He explains.

"Who do you think will take watch tonight?" Victoria asks and she smiles slightly "It's fine, it's just... the cold doesn't go well with my leg, so I have to limit staying in the freezing cold."

"She's the head of security so that makes sense." Alex explains "For training with my bow I usually go to Hawkeye, he's sort of my uncle, but I like calling him dad to confuse everyone." he adds with a grin.

"Thor likes bragging about the feasts they have." Stephen says and he nods "But I guess if it's the same food each time I can understand why you think we have a lot of options."

kurt walks behind the two jumping from side to side to listen to them talk , "i would have thought a place like asgard had more food" he says to loki.

Atreus shrugged, carrying the basket of berries."I'm not sure, maybe Alexander would like to do that tonight." He doew offered to carry her back to the cabin thought if her leg was bothering her."I'll get you back to the cabin and I could come back out here to try to find more stuff." He offered her.

Thalia goes back towards the cabin."Really? I've met him and been around him more than your mom and isn't there that other security dude who wanders the halls?" She asks him."He seems like a nice guy and he's shown me pictures of his kids too." She smiled a little and she turns away from John still mad at him from before. wigi

Loki takes a bite of the sandwich."Yeah we have feasts guys but we don't have these snacks you have like these chips or like those other packaged snacks, think of feasts from old times that's basically what we do and we do make sandwiches thoufh so this one is not as great as ones from home." He explains."Then you have things like tacos and lots of pasta dishes, get what I mean?" He asks them.

 

[Flame Demon]

"I can walk, but thanks for the offer." Victoria says and she smiles slightly "Besides, I don't think we can find much more without digging into the snow." she adds, mentioning to all the snow around them.

"Yeah, there are two on security." Alex says "But everyone helps out with that, so there's only two on paper." he explains. He finishes the traps and heads back with Thalia "Who's cooking this time?" he asks.

"You have more food, but it's more the same then diverse." Stephen sums up "Makes sense." he adds, when they arrive at Fury's office he knocks, waiting for a quiet 'come in' before opening the door.

Atreus nods and walks with her back to the cabin, he almost steps in one of the traps but he noticed and avoided it, telling her to be careful."I could do that, might be able to salvage some herbs and such, I'd like to help as much as I can but it could also be my stomach talking like give foooood." He chuckled a little.

Thalia steps on the stars and knocks the snow from her boots by stomping a little."It's a place where alot of heroes work plus the agents so yeah, I think we're covered." She smiled a little."I could give it a try, I've helped out with that stuff before and Wanda's class help too." She offered.

Loki snapped his fingers."That is what I'm saying, you have more variety and some weird foods or drinks but like I said variety and our food is great, plenty of it but nice to spice up and change the food sometimes." He steps into the office.

 

[Flame Demon]

Victoria giggles "That might be it." she says and smiles "Then that's settled, should I bring the berries we have to the kitchen?" she asks "Or we could eat first and then you can forage some more." she suggests.

Alex nods "That does help doesn't it?" he asks and he nods "Rotating is a smart idea, since we all get to do something then." he says "Alright, I take watch tonight and switch with John halfway and tomorrow we'll switch tasks again."

"Not even two days and already problems?" Fury asks looking at the three "Well then Loku, what seems to be the problem with the camping group?" he asks. Stephen stays back a bit, going to let Loki explain.

Atreus softly laughs at that and his stomach does rumble, grabbing his shirt."Yeah let's get the berries inside and get some dinner, we didn't get any breakfast." He opens the door for her then followed behind her.

Thalia greets them when they come in and she checks what they have."So just berries? Least we have some stuff leftover from yesterday." She goes to the kitchen with them, giving Alexander a nod."Yeah, next time me and Victoria could do it." She offered.

Loki sighed."It's the speedy kid, he doesn't seem to be settling into the team he's already gotten on the wrong foot with Victoria and Atreus then he ran off where my niece had to fetch him and I'm think you should set Pietro up with him to work with him." He tells him.

 

[Flame Demon]

"I see." Fury says "He hasn't had much teamwork, by choice or not I don't care. If he continues this behavior then I will pair him with Pietro for extra training." he says "Thank you for bringing this to my attention."

"What can we do next?" Victoria asks looking at Thalia "And there wasn't much we could find, most edible stuff is buried under the snow." she explains, bringing the berries to the kitchen.

"Alright. You two can take it easy for now, Thalia's cooking today and John and I will keep watch." Alex tells them "And get warmed up a bit."

 

[roxas]

Atreus placed the basket of berries that he's collected though not very full, in the kitchen."You're dad isn't going to like blast me is he? You know protective dad? Or well parents in general." He stretches a little."I wanted to go back out there Alexander to try and forage anything else out here." He tells him.

Thalia pulls some of the leftover stuff out."Oh, me and you could take watch tomorrow night Victoria." She explains before she gets to work, they had some oatmeal packages in the supplies they were given."So oatmeal with berries." She tells them.

Loki nods."Other than that, so far the kids are doing good though they have some things to work on but they're doing good." He let's him know before he takes his leave from the room.

 

[Flame Demon]

"Wait until you've eaten something before going back out there." Alex tells him and she adds "Although you might not see the traps so clearly when it gets darker." he adds.

Victoria nods "We can do that." she says and heads back into the other room "Okay then... I'm going to practice some more outside, near the cabin, if you hear me fall in the snow, I'm fine." she says heading outside, if she could replicate the same effect as earlier then she had her flying spell down.

"Give me a new report in three days." Fury tells him and he dismisses them. Stephen looks at Loki "That went well." he says "I have to get back to the infirmary and see if someone managed to get themselves hurt while we were gone." he says.

"well that went easier than i thought, maybe some training would help that kid" kurt whispers.

john hears the news about the lack of food , he stands up and then runs in superspeed , he returns holding a rabbit in his hands and handing it to alex.

 

[Flame Demon]

"John...." Alex trails off "Next time you run off like that give a warning! What if you got attacked or something and we wouldn't know where you were." he scolds him "And bring that to the Thalia in the kitchen." he adds.

Stephen sweatdrops "Kurt I know you might not have the best impression of Fury, but he cares about the students." he says "Now if you don't need anything else I'll be off. Also just because you're Loki's teacher assistant doesn't mean you have to follow him everywhere."

 

[roxas]

Atreus goes over to the little table to grab a seat."I'll eat first okay..." He taps his fingers on the table but gives a nod to Victoria though once John had come back with rabbit."So I'm out of here." He stands up to leave.

Thalia gets to work with the oatmeal which would be an easy thing to make and she'd add the berries and some of the basil from last night into it, she hums as she does so.

Loki steps away from the office."That it did." He nods."You go do that, I'm going to get some rest and relaxation for a little before having to return to the kids and yeah Kurt don't follow me everywhere." He tells them.

 

[Flame Demon]

"Come on." Victoria says and she comes back to drag Atreus with her "I feel like John's trying too hard to impress Thalia..." she mumbles and she uses her magic on her boots again "Also it's not my dad you have to worry about." she adds "Mom is a bit... harder to gain the trust off."

Alex sighs and he looks outside, Atreus really didn't like it, but they had, well in this case they could have waited for something to get caught in a trap.

 

[roxas]

Atreus stumbled after her at first but he follows her outside since he was going there anyway and well it was her."You think so?" He steps outside with her."Is your mom magic?" He didn't know all that much about her mother as he hasn't really asked about her before.

 

[Flame Demon]

"No, she's just really distrusting. Also she doesn't need magic, have you ever seen a mother protect their kid?" Victoria asks jumping up and she stays in the air for a second of ten before the spell wears off, so she tries again "But she can be persuaded with homemade goods, like cookies and cake."

 

[roxas]

Atreus sits on a step."Like don't mess with the mama bear? I know how fierce they can get and my mom would be the same way." He explains and he watches her, telling her to be careful with her leg as he didn't want her pushing herself."Well I could try? I haven't had much practice on baking stuff." He admits to her.
