Atreus brings the stuff inside the cabin once they get there and he does tour the place."Well what do you know, there's a kitchen." He brings the food in there and he turned to her, her smile brightens his mood."If you fall I'll be there to catch you." He starts blushing after he says that.

Thalia sets the bags down once she had stepped inside the cabin, she wanted to go with Alexander to go check the perimeter and make sure it was safe but least they were out of the snow.

Loki turned around when he opened the portal."Don't want to go for a stroll?" He teased, it's what he planned but since he opened thee portal its like why not and so he does go through it.

Victoria checks the kitchen and starts testing if it's still working "Electric stove, but we don't have any power." she says and she laughs softly at Atreus' blush "I know." she says.

"Good chance one of them will hear us walk thanks to the snow." Stephen explains "Can't have that, can we?" he asks.

Alex returns after a quick sweep and sighs "Well only this one is usuable, so I suggeat that the girls take the biggest room." he says "And Thalia, can you see if you can fix the power?" he asks.

Atreus bites his lip a little when she let out the soft laugh."Victoria I uh..." He wanted to say how he felt since they were alone but he stopped himself then tried talking about something and just pulls out some epi pens for allergies, his dad had told Stephen about his food allergies."So uh what're these?" He asks her.

Thalia brushes some snow off her."You sure about giving us the biggest room, I mean there's three of you boys though that's sweet." She smiled athim and lifted a hand."I can do a little zap zap but you might have to show me where I should do that on." She tells him.

Loki waved a finger at that."Right, I might be able to shape-shift into an animal but you don't have your cape and then we got blue boy here with the poof noise when he teleports." He gets to his other side of it."You know I just had an idea." He tells him.

"Oh, if you eat something you're allergic to you use that." Victoria explains and she adds "But as long as we avoid that you'll be fine.". She starts looking through the cabinets and frowns "Good thing we brought our own stuff."

"Outside and then to the right, couldn't be easier to spot since there's a lightning bolt icon on it." Alex tells her "And of course you two get the biggest room, it's also the safest one." he points out "We'll manage so don't worry."

"What's your idea?" Stephen asks, stepping through the portal and he closes it once Kurt is through as well.

Atreus puts the bag down after putting then in it."Oh so just an extra precaution, dad must've talked to yours for those." He checks some of the other cabinets and nods though jumped squealing as a chipmunk jump from one when he opend it but quickly composed himself."Could try to go forage for more stuff..." He rubs his arm, flustered a little wanting to say something.

Thalia nods."I'll go check for that then and got it, if you'll manage then we'll take the room." She smiled softly before grabbing her coat to slip on and go outside, she checks around for it and once she does she gets herself charged with the energy and places her hands on it being careful not to over power it.

Loki folds his arms."What if when we separate the kids...I try a bit of my trickery, illusions mess around with them a little?" He shrugged, he wouldn't want to step out of line with his daughter though.

Victoria starts laughing at his reaction and she has to lean on the counter "You- you're perfect fine handle trolls, but get scared by a chipmunk?" she asks, trying to calm herself down "I'm sorry I shouldn't be laughing, but it's practically harmless." she says.

Alex smiles as the light goes on and he sighs, well that was that, he goes to check the state of the cabin they're going to be sleeping in and he frowns, the beds were made of metal and had survived pretty well, but the rest... not so much "How are things in the kitchen?" he asks, peeking into the kitchen and he raises an eyebrow "What's so funny?"

"So long as it's nothing too bad." Stephen says "And nothing too bad for her leg, since I don't think she's gonna get that flying trick down anytime soon." he points out, he had knows she was practicing it, but the longest it lasted was five seconds.

"i think im begining to like your ideas" says kurt to loki before jumping into the portal instead of teleporting himself .

john begins walking around the cabine , he hears something land outside and thinks its just an animal .

Atreus quickly points a finger at her."It jumped out of the cabinet though!" He was quite flustered for her laughing at him which made him pout and turn around folding his arms."I'm no scary cat...I know that, but it jumped at me maybe I should jump out and scare you." He mumbled.

Thalia walks back to the front door and wqlks into the cabin, throwing her coat aside and having dragged John with her."Get in here and help unpack what we need." wigi

Loki steps off to the side and he leans on a tree slightly."I'll try to take it easy on her but you know she's tough and you shouldn't baby her all the time." He explains."Oh really Kurt?" He chuckled a little.

"If we overdo this then it could have more negative consequenses then positive." Stephen tells Kurt "If we thre you into the deep end and just let you fend for yourself while throwing one horrible thing after another how would you feel?" he asks. He nods at Loki "If I did baby her she wouldn't even be on this assignment Loki, I know she can handle herself. But there will no doubt be more of these survival missions".

Victoria stops laughing after a while "I know I know, it's just... I wasn't expect you to jump back and squeal, that's all." she says. Well there might be more animals, considering this place has been empty for a while.

Alex shakes his head at the two "Anything useful here?" he asks, checking the light and nodding when it goes on before he turns it off again "I hope that's an electric stove though."

Atreus turned around to face her again and lowered his arms, still flustered though."No not really but if you want to check them, be my guest." He gestured to them, his skin was starting to return to its peachy color though he wasn't very tan either though he grabs Victoria's wrist to pull her with him.

Loki glanced at the cabin."I won't go to crazy on them with the illusion, maybe a few scares here and there but also some to guide them." He explains on what he planned on doing.

"lets give them something challanging rather than scary " kurt says through the portal

"That should be interesting to see." Stephen says and he thinks for a while "When's the supply drop?" he asks, mentioning to the snow "I don't think they're going to be very lucky with hunting right now." he says.

"Atreus are you okay?" Victoria asks while she's pulled along with him, wondering where he's going.

Alex chuckles and he goes to find the others "Once Victoria and Atreus are back we need to discuss our plan for keeping watch at night, I might be able to rig some of my arrows to work as alarm traps if needed." he says.

Atreus was going to the front door, he was going to take her foraging with him if she was willing to go with him."Why do you ask?" He did seem off, little tense and was actually trying to hide his feelings this time.

Thalia glanced at Alexander when he spoke up."I'd give them some alone time maybe it's what he wants." She didn't want to tease her cousin too much or it could make him take off and hide."I would do that and I say since Atreus did last night, let's have someone else take watch tonight." She nods.

Loki moved his hand to bring a supply crate through a portal."I've already got it prepared and we'll just need to drop this off somewhere nearby for them to find it." He gestured to it."You can check it, let me know if there's anything else we need to add to it." He offered.

"You're tense." Victoria says and she tilts her head slightly "Is it because I was laughing in the kitchen when you got scared?" she asks "Or are you trying to hide something from me?"

"I'll take the first half, then wake John for the second half, agreed?" Alex asks, that way everyone got some sleep and they could rotate "We'll stay here for two night, then move on to the meeting point."

"I trust you know what they need." Stephen says and he looks at the cabin "Maybe drop it when they're leaving again, that's probably when the supplies are the lowest."

Atreus opens the door to go outside."Nothing, not hiding anything I mean why would I?" He lies, unlike his dad he wasn't good at hiding his feelings and maybe he didnt know what to say to her."No it was...funny." He sighed at that.

Thalia grabs one of the blankets from a bag."Agreed." She hummed and goes over to a window."Is there anything else we can do? Not sure if there'd be prey out here til the snows gone." She tells him.

Loki placed a hand on the crate."That would be an appropriate time." He noticed Atreus and Victoria going outside, he leaned against a tree."Think we could use a break from babysitting these kids for a bit too." He mumbled.

"Foraging and setting up the sleeping areas are the only things we can do, I'm guessing those two are going foraging." Alex says and he adds "Which leaves the other thing to us."

"We can come back in a day and see how they're doing." Stephen says and he adds "Alex will protect them if they need it. I wasn't too sure about that though. Making his the group leader, since he doesn't talk much at school."

"I see..." Victoria mumbles and she walks a bit fast so she can hug him "It's fine if you don't know what to do with your feelings, but hiding and bottling them up won't work." she says.

"i can go out there if we need food" says john setting up a little space for himself to sleep in.

"I don't think Victoria or Atreus would agree with you also going out there to forage." Alex deadpans at John and he sighs "Alright, I'm going to set up some traps around the area in case we get unwanted visitors and some animals traps as well." he says.

Atreus stiffens at the hug when she does, not expecting it but he relaxes after a few moments and stood there quietly before saying something."Am I that easy to read?" He asks quietly, wrapping his arms around her."Sometimes you just want to hide your feelings...what I feel is sorta stronger then other crushes I've had, I mean...fuck I just said that outloud." He squeaked.

Thalia just avoided John as she goes after Alex."I want to help, I know how to make some traps like those to hang them by a tree or omes for small animals." She tells him.

Loki nods."Alex and Thalia would have it handled, I say we go take that break and I'm quite hungry, I haven't really ate much while babysitting here." He would let him open the portal."Kurt let's leave the kids be for a little while." He tells him. wigi

Victoria smiles "Yes you did, also you are pretty easy to read, but that's fine." she says "Now let's go forage for food in silence so you can think over what you just said." she says.

"That might work." Alex says "But I'd rather not skin the animals, if we catch any, inside, Atreus didn't seem thrilled when I came back with two rabbits and as much as everyone's training to be a hero that's not part of the job." he explains.

Stephen nods "I'm more worried about John though." he says and adds "He might be good hero material, but he seems to have trouble following orders in situations when he needs to listen."

Atreus became flustered and puts his hands to his cheek."What? Oh man you knew?" He squeaked again, the awkward was coming out."I uh well uh...do you hate me for it?" He fiddles with his fingers before following after her.

Thalia's brows furrowed."So are we not going to be hunting anymore for this mission?" She asks him."That...he doesn't like it, it disgusts him and some meat he won't eat." She tells him.

Loki points towards the cabin."That is why they need team exercises and maybe he needs someone to work with him." He didn't know what else they could do eith him.

"It's fine, I didn't want to say anything for this reason." Victoria says "Wasn't sure if you were aware of your own feelings." she adds with a smile. When she finds some berries she crouches down to inspect them "Are these edible?" she asks, changing the subject so hopefully he won't feel awkward anymore.

"Well we do need the meat, but would he eat it if he doesn't know what animal its from?" Alex asks, they might need the extra energy and sure, they could let Atreus eat it without meat, but then they'd have to make it seperately.

"This is supposed to be a team exercise." Stephen says and he mentions for the other two to follow him before he steps through the portal back to the school.

Atreus quietly let her talk as he was still flustered about this but her smile making him smile."I have been realizing why I feel the way I do around you lately...but afraid to say something or what you'd think." He crouched down with her."They're edible but grab nothing from that bush over there with the orange berries." He tells her.

Thalia puts her hands on her hips."That could work or if it's put in stew like last night or added in other foods, he's okay with chicken but beef no and bacon is the only pork he'll go for." She explains.

Loki walks through the portal to get to the school, he would grab something from the cafeteria to eat."Exactly hut in other words if this doesn't work, we should have someone work with him." He tells him.

"I'm actually surprised you have a crush on me." Victoria admits taking some of the edible berries and she puts them in the pouch she usually has for magic related stuff "Anymore edible food around?" she asks.

"We won't find any beef out here anyway." Alex assures her "It would go fast if we each do one side wouldn't it?" he asks.

"But who? Quicksilver?" Stephen asks "Or someone who's good with teamwork and willing to deal with an overexcited speedster..." he trails off.

Atreus picks some of the berries to fill in the basket he brought with him and helps her with that."Why is that?" He was curious and it was making his blush lighten up."Uh there could be herbs and spices perhaps but alot of it could be under the snow." He explains.

Thalia smiled a little."He's just a little overly picky at times and no going after wolves, okay?" She knew how much her cousin liked them."Yeah sure." She stepped outside.

Loki walks towards the cafeteria."I would set him up with that speedster you just mentioned, he should be able to handle another speedster and maybe bring in that sister of his." He tells him.
