Marriage Formula - (Jadey321 & Sharliery)

Josephine looked at him when he have her the dry humor and she just stared back."Okay true, was just being a concerned fiancé."She said with a hint of a smile as they made their way to the horse. She thought it was comforting that he always had contact with her. He didn't want her to go. Josie moved closer to him until they for to the horse. She tried to help him get onto the horse but he of course threw her up first. Josie stabled herself by putting both hands on the horse, looking down as Abram prepared himself."Oh careful please.."She whispered, wincing whenever he winced. Then he was on and his face was against her skin. Her heart sped up.

"W.. Why are you sorry?"Josephine whispered, her voice shaky. She carefully waited a few seconds before reaching around and carefully taking off the mask that he was wearing, revealing his face."There you are."She whispered, smiling as she slid his glasses back on. Her eyes went to his lips, hers parting as she moved closer to him. And then she just kissed him. And all of her worries, pain, everything just went away. She was complete.

Josephine's kiss had dimmed his pain. Is this what Love was? Almost a cure for anything and everything. When she left his lips, he went in for another one, this one was far more hungry, his heavy breathing hot against her lips.

"JOsephine, I missed you..."

Abram let his head fall into the crook of her neck, kissing her nape.

"My mother has planned a party. You nor I are equipped for such a party tonight but it is tomorrow one days time... Eat, Rest, Get bandaged up... Tomorrow we will make our engagement public..."

Abram cracked the reins, Armageden began to trot. "But for now..." His body was leaning on hers heavy. "I'm afaird I can barely move..."

Josephine's heart skipped a beat when she pulled away and he brought her back in, she kissed him back. She matched his hunger in the kiss, her hands against his chest gently gripping his shirt in her small frail fists. When he pulled away and rested against her neck, her hands went into his hair, running her fingers through his hair. "I don't think I can go to sleep in a bed by myself tonight.."She whispered truthfully. She would be up all night, afraid her mother would snatch her up in the middle of the night. Josie wondered if he caught on to her little hint she had given him. What if he refused though? Maybe he wanted to be by himself to heal and rest? She started regretting what she had said, biting her cracked lower lip as she focused on the throbbing of her shoulder."Im going to look like a mess at our engagement reveal thing.."She whispered, shaking her head as she pictures herself, bruised and skinny as a tooth pick standing next to such a dashing man.

"Nonsense, you'll eat, bathe, my mother will find a beautiful gown to cover..this.." He brought her arms to his lips, kissing her wrists. "Everything will be perfect," He let her hand go and he rested into her shoulder more. He was afraid he'd fall asleep. "And tonight.. I don't plan for you to be alone..." He kissed the nape of her neck. He'd make her his if he could... Then her mother would have to be a mad woman if she intended to still steal her off. "We at least have to make it seem that you're with child..." He whispered.

Armagedon began a faster trot, heading for his home, Abram's body was cold. He couldn't wait to get out of his clothes that seem to weigh tons now. The fabric sticking to his sweating body, and he couldn't help the feeling that something was stabbing at his side, oh yes.. his rib cage. How could he forget?

After what had seemed to be years of horse back riding, the horse made it's way back home. While Abram was gone Kathrine had assembled guards for the estate. The front gate was guarded by 5 men. They all looked alert and ready, weapons a their side. When they heard the horse trotting, they immeditely stiffed. The head soldier recognized the horse.

"Armageden..." He whispered to the other soldiers who's eyes shot directly to Josephine. Thye all turned to Abram who was slumped over her, clenching his teeth in pain, he had to breathe but at the same time was fighting it because with every breath it sent coursing pain through his entire body.

A soldier caught the horses reins. "Master Abram, let us take you in.." He said.

Abram opened one eye,

"Take Josephine to my mother," He gasped in pain as he tried to sit up. He saw Josephine's concerned look and smiled. "Please, go see my mother. She has a nurse w-waiting... I on the other hand need my doctor to patch me up... We will meet shortly. You're safe here.."

Her eyes opened more to watch him kiss her bloodied wrists, amazed that such a handsome guy cared so much about her. "Oh.. Was all she could manage to whisper as his head went back to her shoulder and neck. She smiled a little, her fingers rubbing the back of his neck slowly. 'And

tonight.. I don't plan for you to be alone..'
Her heart skipped a beat for sure. He didn't want her to sleep alone tonight, he caught on to what she was saying. Josephine kissed the side of his head, still massaging his neck slowly."With.. Child..?"She asked bewildered, but then she caught on and knew why they had to fool people."Oh.. I get it."She added. She did want to have a child, maybe even with Abram.. The perfect little family, but she was too much of a mess to have a family now, she kept getting hurt and broken. As the horse picked up speed, she lifted her head to watch where they were going. The horse knew exactly where he was going and got them there quickly.

Her first thought when she saw the many guards waiting for them was that she didn't want to leave Abram. Her grip tightened a little on him as the guard spoke to take Abram first off the horse. Her lips parted and she was about to refuse but then Abram spoke up. She looked at him as he told the men to take her to his mother."Okay.."Was all she whispered as she let the man scoop her up and take her into the safety of the manor. Josephine watched Abram as the men carefully took him off the horse, wondering when they would be reunited again.

She was brought inside and through some hallways until they reached the huge living room where a nurse already was there waiting. She looked for Katherine but she wasn't anywhere in the room. The guy set Josephine down on a white looking table. The nurse smiled at her and then probed her shoulder right away. Josephine yelled out with pain, closing her eyes and gritting her teeth. As the lady worked on her shoulder, Josephine yelled out here and there surely everyone in the estate could hear her.

Abram slumped over the guards , sighing in relief as he no longer had to move anymore and Josephine was safe back at home. He heard the guards grunting as his dead weight was being dragged . His mind was numb, he was happy but at the same time exhausted . He wondered if Resnov had got out in time before anyone had noticed, he was sure he did. They had devised a perfect plan for Resnov to steal a horse and go the opposite way of the Alexander estate. It would through Renne off for the time being .

As Abram was dragged into the cattle he kept his eyes locked on Josephine and how her slender frame was carried in by a single guard . She looked back at him nervous, concern streaking across her face . Abram gave her a weak smile and a small wave before doubling over in pain again. The guards began to take him toward the breakfast room, another left to fetch te doctor.

Katrine had heard the commotion downstairs of guards and maids rushing to find supplies fr Abram, she left the room where she was waiting for Abram to bring Josephine and eased down stairs, at the top of the steps she saw the guard , Josephine's slender skin frame and bruised wrists, her cracked lips and once vibrant skin was dry. She couldn't help but gasp her hands flying towards her she took her into an embrace.

"Josephine my darling! I'm so happy your safe.. Blood..." Kathrine

Backed away from her looking to her side where Abram's arm had been. Panic streaked her eyes.

"Blood! What happened ? Where's Abram!" She was in a panic, backing away from Josephine to go bolting down the stairs . The guards reached out a hand to her.

"My lady, please he is being treated in the breakfast room.. He wasn't in the condition to be moved upstairs."

Kathrine's eyes reared her hand to her lips.

"He's hurt? How? Why?"

Josephine looked up at the high ceiling, trying to not think about the pain as the nurse pulled and stitched her shoulder up. Her eyes started to close but when they started to, the nurse would shake her and tell her to stay awake. It was pure torture, she broke out in a sweat. When the nurse was finally finished, Josephine was physically and mentally exhausted."Okay, now we are going to move you into a sitting position so that you can eat and drink a little something."The nurse informed her and then walked away after positioning Josephine. That's when Katherine rushed in, when she hugged her she winced."Please be careful.."She whispered, mentioning the broken shoulder. The stitches were wrapped yet so they were completely visible. But Katherine saw the blood and started freaking out, Josephine wanted to sleep."He is hurt, but he'll be okay.. He slipped as he was trying to get me down the castle walls and we both fell. He broke a rib and I broke my shoulder blade."She explained to the frantic mother who looked so tired.

The nurse came back with some crackers and soup,"We want you to eat light at first, just incase your body rejects it."She explained, setting the tray on Josephine's lap. Josie looked at the food and then back at the nurse,"Thank you.. After I eat this can I go to bed?"She asked, almost pleading to be in bed. The nurse just curtsied,"Of course you can, just after you take a bath, and I've got special word that you'll be sleeping in Master Abram's room, correct?"The nurse asked shyly. Josephine smiled, peering at Katherine but then she nodded."Yes, thank you."She said sweetly and then looked down at her soup and crackers. It was so foreign, food. But right when the smell hit her nose, her stomach came alive again. It only took her a couple minutes to finish everything, she had trouble at first, coughing and everything but then she got the hang of it. When she was finished, the nurse took the tray away and some maids rushed to her sides."Bath time."The maids said at the same time and Josephine smiled at them sweetly and then looked to Katherine."Abram will be fine, he's such a strong man."She said lightly and reassuringly as the maids helped her walk to the bath chambers.

It took the maids about an hour to fully scrub and bathe Josephine, when they were threw they brushed out her hair and then helped her get into a now loose low scoop silk tank top and shorts."There, all finished and beautiful as ever."The maids complimented. Josephine could walk better, her shoulder was throbbing so she could barely move her right arm but she managed to get to Abram's room. He wasn't there yet so she walked in and sat on his bed, getting under the covers and then letting out a relaxed sigh.

"Are you mad?!" Abram thrashed on te table as guards quickly pinned down his shoulders and two others to his legs. He couldn't breathe with one lung being almost punctured and another sticking from his side, the doctor, who also was his close friend looked troubled as he placed his gloves on.

"If you move some more and it punctures your lung you'll be in more trouble then you are now. Now stay still."

Abram continued to thrash, gritting teeth, to stop from screaming in pain that he was causing himself.

"Give me an medicine ! You can't just cut me open and adjust what you wish! What kind of doctor are you Johnson?"

Johnson began to take his tools out of a bag placed on his table, his eyebrows were furrowed n annoyance.

"I'm an emergency doctor and though I do not like that I'm 'operating' on a dining room table. I assure you I have done this before and it is much quicker when you're conscious ! I take it your adrenaline is pumping , you won't feel a thing.."

"Give me the medi-" Abram's body went still, his eyes wide , the scream and his breath was caught in his throat as he felt the scalpel dig into his side, in a swift movement Johnson had made a slit big enough to fit in his tools. Tentatively working he adjusted the rib that was about to puncture his lung with a quick tug, sending Abram to scream out and move.

"Keep him still."

"How did you even get a lic- gahh!!"

"A license ? I bought one . " Johnson joke as he motioned an aide to hand him a cloth. While the made got the cloth he cemented the ribs. Holding the cloth to his side he saw the shock in Abram's face. "Now then, one more thing, please hold your breath.."

"What ? Why?" His breathing was staggered he got like he could die and before he had to the chance to question any further he felt the doctor pull his ribs together , a crushing sound echoed in the room as the other ribs that were slightly out of pace popped back. It knocked the literal wind out of Abram, he coughed up blood, salvia , he almost threw up his lunch from hours ago.

"Okay. Everything sounds and feels in place.. Breathe in for me .. " Johnson felt his ribs as Abram sucked in air. " Alright, Ill stitch you up, bandage and give you something for the pain... Try not to move so suddenly for a week. Ill check your progress and make sure i dont have to cut you open again.."

Abram was over it, he couldn't talk. He gave Johnson's smiling face an evil glare as he began to stitch him, the nurse coming in with a glass of water and a spoon full of liquid painkillers.

"Is it morphine?"

"No, Lady Kathrine fears you won't awaken for tomorrow's festivites.. So just a mild pain killer. You will hav to re dose every 4 hours. " The nurse said quietly as she offered the spoon to his mouth . He nod and opened his mouth , taking the medicine it replaced the iron taste of his own blood with a bitter taste of almost alcohol and berries.

By the time Johnson had finished wrapping his body Abram was feeling the effects of his medicine. His breathing returning to normal he felt the pressure of where the pain should be if he moved the wrong way but he sighed in comfort that he didn't feel a stinging pain at his side and up his spine.

"Well then , you're all patched up!" Johnson tied a knot at the end of his hip, the bandages were tight across his abdomen and slung over his shoulders in case those too were sprained . They brought him crutches .

"Everyone please return to your posts. No one. Absolutely no one is to get through the front gates. Resnov should be carrying a crest. If he presents it , let him in. Anyone beside him must see me first. "

Abram gt balanced on his crutches. He thanked everyone who helped and even Johnson , who have him a sly smirk. Abram could swear he would almost kick him if it would effect his injury.

Hobbling through the estate in his couches everyone who passed Abram had welcome him home and bid him praise that e was safe. He smiled ad nod , not stopping fr not then a moment . He wanted nothing more then to see Josephine.

When he reached the door to his room he took a mommy to catch his breathe though he could not feel the pain he knew his body was taking a toll to how quickly he was moving . He knocked twice who're opening te door.

"I told you I'd only be a moment," he smiled as he came into his room, catching her newly revived beauty, Latin in his white bed with te thounds of pillows.

Josephine looked around his room, seeing a bunch of pictures of his awards and then of him and his parents. She still had never met his father, just now realizing it. Abram looked a lot like his father, she marveled, sitting up to get a better look at all of the pictures. She smiled seeing the young Abram all smiley and happy. He was so adorable. She laid back, looking at her wrapped shoulder and sighing. She needed to stop getting hurt all of the time. She heard noises outside in the hallway and she thought about Abram. Was he okay? Maybe they had put him in a different room to sleep alone and heal? Josephine frowned at the thoughts, placing her hands on her flat stomach and playing with her thumbs. The pain wasn't that bad, she could handle it. And she felt her muscles relaxing in the mattress just knowing that she was safe in the estate, safe from her mother.

Josie heard a knock and smiled, turning towards the door."Come in"She said sweetly, knowing who it was behind that door. And she was right, Abram came hobbling in and she sat up into the bed slowly, smiling even more."I never doubted you.. You don't have to knock to get into your bedroom you know."She laughed a little, her eyes raking over him and all of his bandages."Come.."She whispered, opening the covers and sheets so he could slide in next to her."All nice and warm for ya"She smiled, fixing the pillows before she laid back down."How are you feeling?"She asked suddenly, her eyebrows going up as she laid on her side, with pressure on her good shoulder of course.

"I didn't want to startle you, " Abram smiled as he hobbled his way to the bed. His places his crutches on his Side and slid into the spot she had left for him. Indeed it was warm, his body sunk into the mattress . He let out a sigh before he looked at her .

"How are you feeling?" He saw her eyes sparking and his hands came I run down the side of we cheek.

"Much better, you're safe."

He let his hand travel down to her shoulder when he rubbed with ease.

"I hope they treated you better then me.." He chuckled as he pulled her in to land a kiss in her cheek

Josephine smiled more, seeing him hobbling to the bed to come and join her."So thoughtful.."She whispered, adjusting the pillow under her head a little."I'm better now.."She said with a sleepy smile, her hand resting against his on her face for a couple seconds as her eyes closed."I'm just glad that you're okay."She said softly, opening her eyes and then watching him touch her bandages."It hurt.. A lot but I got through it thankfully."She said with a sigh as her fingers brushed against his bandages,"Still handsome as ever."She swooned, looking into his eyes as her fingers went up to his face and brushed up and down his cheek. When he pulled her in, she smiled and rested her face against his bare chest, closing her eyes again. Josie wrapped her arms around his muscular waist and placed kisses up and down his neck."You're my hero."She whispered against his ear as she opened her eyes and looked up at him."Thank you"She added in a hushed voice.

Abram's body relaxed under her embrace. Even though he couldn't move his torso as much he reached an arm abound her to cradle her in his arms, her soft kisses at his neck sent her blood warm.

"If this is my reward for being a hero I would mind scaling more castle walls. I'm actually thinking of making it a hobby of mine , " Abram looked down at her with a sly smirk. His right hand that was free came up to her stray hairs, twirling them between his fingers he couldn't help but to release a deep sigh that he was finally comfortable and able to rest in peace knowing she was happy and safe in his arms.

"I'm estatic that you were patched up nicely. I another hand thought I was going to die in the hands of Dr. Johnson than from the actual fall itself..." His face was in all seriousness.

"But that's no matter, I am in bed, cuddled in my favorite comforters and my wife soon to be in my arms..." His eyes glazed over , pulling her into a deep kiss he couldn't believe she was back or the kind of pull she was having on him to do such things! Breaking the kiss he kissed her jaw law down to her neck.

"I can make you mine before the wedding... ? " he almost questioned.

The more he relaxed, the more she relaxed. She just wanted him to be happy. When he spoke she smiled, her fingers running over his chest and his abdomen."There'll be no more scaling walls or jumping out of windows.. We need to stay away from danger for at least a couple years."She laughed, shaking her head."I'm glad you're alright.. It was the worst feeling.. Seeing you there all bloody and unconscious.."Josephine shook her head as she remembered that moment vividly. Her eyes went to meet his as he brushed some hair behind her ear. Josepgine leaned forward and kissed him back, moving closer to him. When Abram pulled away and called her his wife soon to be.. Her heart skipped a beat."Oh Abram.."She whispered, kissing his lips softly before pulling away.

And then he asked her the big question, should they wait? Or just do it? Josephine bit her bottom lip and then leaned forward, pressing her face against his neck as she kissed down to his collar bone."Yes.."She whispered, excited and nervous all at the same time.

"Yes..." Abram's breath caught sharp in his throat as he felt her whisper those words against his skin, her lips left his skin hot. With out hesitation or another word, both arms snaked around her body, pulling her close into his body that was picking up heat. He was stiff the position of his body awkward mostly because he didn't want to bend his side in fear he would move a newly cemented rib or pop his stitches. A part of him could care less, primal instinct kicking in, he was a hunter on the prowl.

With a hungry passion he began to kiss her neck, down her jaw line. Pushing his hands into the small of her back so her body would arch against his and her head would fall back, allowing him more access to her neck, collar bone, and with half open eyes he could see down her gown, her breast elevating with every breath.

Josephine raised her eye brows as he pulled her closer, a smile played on her lips as she tilted her head back against the sheets and pillows. She could feel her shoulder stinging a little but she could care less, pulling him closer but keeping in mind of his ribs.Josie felt the heat rise through her quickly and she arched her back more so she pressed against him. At this exact moment, she was truly happy, nervous but happy. Josephine looked at him, her fingers running through his hair as she pulled his face to hers and kissed him.

--

The next morning, Josephine opened her eyes to a maid standing there with a tray of pills and two glasses of water. Josephine looked at Abram who's back was turned to her but his arm was wrapped around her waist. Josie gave the maid a sleepy smile,"Set it over there thank you"She told the lady and then the maid left. Josephine had never had such a great sleep in her life. She turned towards Abram and ran her fingers across his bare back, pressing her bareness against his back.

Abram lay on the left side of the bed, his back turned to Josephine, he slept like he never had before. The white sheets were loose at his waist, satisfaction pouring from his body from the night before. His dreams were filled with images of her body and how she had reacted to his every touch. He had one arm cradling his rib cage, sometime in the night he had started to feel the stings of pain but because he was too tired to get up he did not request medicine. This morning his breathing was relaxed and shallow, he was lost in sleep, he didn't hear the knocking at the door, nor the maid calling them, he thought he heard Josephine's voice, and moved slightly, snuggling into the pillow.

Abram felt a hand, caressing down his back. His body tensed. Somehow his dream felt a bit too real. He sighed out loud, when a body pressed against his, feeling the warmth , his senses began to awaken. Before opening his eyes he turned around slowly, a grunt as he felt a stabbibg pain but relaxed as he buried his face into her hair.

"Good morning, I hope you slept well..."

Josephine smiled, seeing him stir awake slowly."Good morning.."She whispered, kissing his neck once and then pulling away so she could see his face."I have never slept better."She said lightly, seeing him wince from his ribs she frowned and rolled out of bed. Josie got up, walking to the tray of pills that were labeled hers and then Abrams. Josie took his pills and a cup of water, walking back to the bed and handing everything to him. "Take those, they should help with the pain."She said lightly, walking back and taking her pills. When she was finished, she laid back onto the bed, she rested her head in his lap."I don't know how I'm supposed to go back to my bed tonight.."She mused, thinking about sleeping alone and how she had tossed and turned before. But last night, last night was the one night where she was completely at ease and didn't stir in her sleep. Complete peace, no bad thoughts at all.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door and Katherine could be heard from the other side."I checked Josephine's room and it looks like she isn't there, so I asked a maid and she said that she spent the night with you. Now, Josephine? Dear, I need to have you fitted into your dress for the party later."Josephine listed and then rested her head down against Abram,"I don't want to leave."She pouted up at him.

Abram felt extremely tired still, his body seemed drained. The kiss on his neck sent his body to become aroused again. He opened his eyes again slightly, sitting up slightly to kiss her lips while his hands snaked down her body, he turned the wrong way, sending him to wince and lay back down. The pain was killing his mood. He saw her frown and tried to give her a small smile, rubbing her hand to reassure her he was fine. Abram felt her hand leave his, and he almost protested until he saw her blurry body move towards the tray.

Josephine had brought him back his pills and a glass of water.

"Take those, they should help with the pain.."

"Thank you..."

As Abram drank down the pills, he watched as Josephine drank hers and found her way back to his bed. His heart was beating, and his blood was running with an emotion he couldn't explain. He wanted to protect her, to always be around her, watch her smile and be happy. HE felt the weight of her head on his lap, relaxing back into his pillows he placed a hand in her hair, rubbing her hair and brushing it out of her face.

"You won't be going back to your bed," Abram said in all seriousness. He was on his way to reach for his glasses on the night stand when he heard the knocks. Then his mother's voice finished filling the room.

"Mother!?" Abram fumbled for his glasses, half sitting up, half laying down, his face was bright red as he placed the glasses on to his face.

Kathrine stood there hands on her hips, watching JOsephine cling to Abram.

"Come, come! We need to get this fitting done, then you can lay around with Abram all day! If you can keep him in this room..."

Abram's mind lit a spark. His laboratory. It had been almost two weeks, he had to get back to working so he could meet his deadline.

"Resnov where is he?" Abram called for a maid with his hand, she quickly came to his side. "I'll need my clothes ready please. "

"Resnov returned last night, he's resting, and clothes? What are you going to do?"

"Well Mother, I do need to finish with a few projects..."

"Oh no no no ! If you are late to his party. I will have all of your ribs on a platter!" KAthrine almost jumped over the bed to choke him.

"Don't worry mother I will not miss it..." He reached over to Josephine and placed a kiss on her lips.

Josephine smiled at him,'You won't be going back to your bed.' she replayed that in her head a couple times as she watched him. She was too comfy to move a muscle, all wrapped in the sheets and cuddled up to Abram. But then Katherine came and opened the door. Josie pulled the sheets up to her chin out of habit, watching Abram freak out by his mother's intrusion. Her eyes went to Katherine's as she spoke about dress fittings."I'm up"She said lightly, reaching for a robe a maid left and wrapping herself in it. She stood up and carefully rolled her shoulders, wincing as she stretched her muscles out. Josie jumped out of the way when Katherine lunged for Abram, a smile playing on her lips as she looked back at him."Don't get too stressed out down there."Josie piped up, knowing how stressed and crazy he gets in his lab. With a smile, she leaned forward and kissed him back,"Work on that exquisite proposal, love."She winked and then walked out of the room with Katherine by her side as they walked down the hall.

"So, how did you sleep?"Katherine asked, a smile on her lips. Josie blushed, thinking about last night."I have never slept better actually."She responded truthfully as they rounded a corner and then walked into a room she had never been in before."Alright, breakfast and tea is over there and you'll eat as we work."Katherine instructed, pulling out all of these fabrics and textures. Josephine was overwhelmed immediately, her eyes going wide."Here, eat this while I just plan the dress out for you.. I'm pretty sure I know your taste."Katherine smiled, motioning her to the food by the small sofa. Josephine did as she was told, sitting down and eating slowly. Her mind went to Abram, how she wished that she was in his arms.

"Now dear, please stand up here and let Frank measure you."Katherine spoke and Josephine wiped her mouth and then stood up, walking to the little round platform. She stood still, looking away as the man went all around her."We are going to need the dress to be long sleeve, but flowy"Katherine was thinking out loud as she tilted her head and watched Frank do his work. Josephine kept her mouth shut as Frank finished and then wrote down everything he had accumulated. By the time the dress was ready, Josephine was asleep on the little couch, her legs up to her knees as she slept soundly."Josephine, come dear wake up. It's time to get ready."Katherine iped up, lightly touching Josephine's bad shoulder. She opened her eyes and slowly sat up, rubbing her eyes and stretching a little.

Right when she stood up, she was handed more pain medication and water. When she had taken the pills, all she had to do was lift her arms and maids came and helped her into the custom dress. "Don't let her see herself until everything is finished!"Katherine insisted, getting excited as she brought in the hair team. They sat Josephine down and then started curling her long hair."Now, your hair will be down and lightly curled so it frames your face just right. And you will wear a flower crown that has been in our family for ages."Katherine explained and Josephine smiled. It took the team about an hour until she was finally ready."Alright, now turn around."Katherine whispered and Josephine turned and looked at herself in the mirror. Her breath caught in her throat as she didn't recognize herself in the mirror."I.. I look.."She stumbled for her words."Gorgeous."Katherine finished for her."Abram is going to just drool."Katherine laughed, all giddy. Josephine smiled, her hands running down the mint green fabric that made all of her features stand out. She noticed her chest was practically bulging out of her dress, knowing Abram will love that part."This dress is amazing."She whispered, looking at her hair and the beautiful flower crown."I feel like a princess."She whispered, getting all emotional.

When everyone was finally out of his room was when Abram lifted himself from his bed. The pain had subsided from the medication, leaving him free to roam his room without any assitance of a crutch. The maids had left him a bowl of boiling water with scented oils, with his wrapping he was unable to take a bath or shower, so this would have to do. Grabbing a cloth he began to wash his body, looking through the mirror on his dresser he looked to the rumbled white sheets on his bed. His mind buzzing with the images of JOsephine's body sprawled under him. The way her hair looked undone, casading over his pillow case, the way her lips parted...He felt his body reacting as his mind wandered, the water droplets at his feet breaking his concentration.

"I'm as bad as a school boy," He muttered, finishing up as quickly as possible.

After his wash he had began to get dressed, today was the day of the big party. His mother had warned him about being late, but he also had to handle a few things before hand. The lab, the contract, the ring, the engagement... Finishing the last knot on his black tie, he reached for his lab coat. He heard the knock at the door.

"Come in," Abram said as he placed the jacket on. He kept his eyes locked on the door, watching Resnov walk in, hands at his side, he gave a small bow.

"You're looking back to your normal self,"

"You think so? I sort of missed this old thing.." He pulled the sleeves of his lab coat.

"I take it Lady KAthrine is granting your access again?"

"For now, with conditions of course." Abram smirked and Resnov couldn't help but pull a smile. Knowing very well Abram's Mother always held conditions.

"Well I suggest you get going if you'd like to get ANYTHING done and meet those conditions. The tailor will be here by noon to measure and get you fitted..."

"Noon is only in 2 hours..."

"Exactly my point. You're schedule is tight, so let's work with haste..."

Abram left the room with Resnov in tow, pulling out a pen and paper from his coat pocket he began to scribble down notes as he walked. So much. So much. This is what he meant about a woman taking away from his work, he'd loose the contract for sue at this point.. Losing credability or the chance to keep his name in good standing, Abram grunted under his breath.

"Young Master..."

"Resnov?"

"Do not let temporary frustration guide you away from your ultimate goal..."

"I don't have time, it's one or the other... I can finish some work, but ontop of planning this proposal, both in my personal life and one to the Russian space team, go to the city to buy an actual ring and get dressed to be ON TIME to my own engagement party... MY mother is asking for a miracle..." Abram sighed, his brow forrowing.

"The ring you must not worry yourself about, I have had your designs from earlier in the week sent to Moscow by Clarise. She is also going to be picking it up quite soon actually."

"Well I can check that off my list at least...." Abram grumbled as he closed in at the door to his Lab. Opening the doors, the dark room was lifeless. As Resnov began to bring in the light Abram's blood started to pump, his eyes flared like new found excitement and he was quickly enveloped.

Hours had passed. The tailor had came. Chasing Abram around the lab with a measuring tape and pins. He managed to somehow get his measurements scribbled down before Abram walked to the next station, working several projects at once, all while meeting back at his desk to think of ideas for a proposal. His suit was almost done.

"The garden's , "My Josephine would you do me th-"

"The garden isn't ready," Resnov cut in, Abram shot him a glare. Every idea Abram had, Resnov had some excuse to why it wasn't able to function.

"What IS ready then?"

"That's a very general question."

Abram sighed, walking to his book case he slammed his back to it, crossing his arms in frustration. He felt the book case shake, a book falling hit him square on the head, sprawled open on the floor.

"Good for nothing books..." Abram bent down to grab it, then something sparked. When JOsephine was captive, he had recalled talking with his mother to relieve her worry...she smiled as she told of Josephine's facination with books.

"Resnov, the old library in the West Wing? The one made for Grandmother before she passed away?"

"What of it?"

"Have it dusted...the wood polished, I have a brilliant idea!!!"

Resnov looked concerned.

"Why do I fear this will be sending Lady Kathrine frantic..."

"Oh dear, you look just absolutely breathtaking! But actually we are early, so I will be back for you shortly!"Katherine zoomed out of the room with all of the maids and she was left alone. Josephine looked herself in the mirror, turning to the side and pressing the fabric down against her stomach. The dress was tight, but not too tight that she couldn't breathe or sit down. The butterflies rushed through her as she thought of Abram and what he must be planning. Maybe he had gotten so caught up in his work that he completely forgot about the proposal? With a light frown, she sat down on the little couch with leftover food. She picked a piece up and ate it as her mind raced, what was to happen next? Her mind wandered to last night, the feeling of his chest pressed against hers and the tangling of sheets. She had never been that happy in her whole life, her body ached for him."Calm yourself."She whispered to herself, blushing a little as she composed her thoughts just a tad. What would they do at this party? Announce the engagement and the fake pregnancy.. and then dance?

Her stomach dropped, she couldn't dance. Her mother had never taught her how to dance. She bit her lower lip as she grew nervous just thinking about making a fool out of herself in front of a lot of people. But then she thought of Abram, of how sweet he was and it started to calm her down. He would accept her, for her. Something no one had ever done.

"Josephine! Abram has requested your presence in the library."A maid came into the room with a smile. Josie put the food down and then stood up, flattening the dress out."Okay"She said lightly, looking in the mirror one last time before she followed the maid. She was curious, why were they going into the library? Shouldn't the party be in the grand ball room or something? When they reached the library, the maid left right away.. Leaving her by herself surrounded by the many books. Her fingers ran down the spines of the books, totally transfixed and fascinated by all of them.

"Don't marry the person you think you can live with, marry the person you can not live with out," Abram's voice echoed as he read from an excerpt. He was above her, half sitting half leaning on the marble and wooden rails of the second floor of the old library. The wood was freshly polished along with the marble everything glistened. The room echoed with soft classical music, he kept his eyes on the page for a moment more. His heart was racing in his chest. From the small glace he got from her, she ws breath taking...

"Beautiful isn't it?" He closed the book quickly, turning on his heels he faced to look down at her, his tall figure leaning over. He wore an black tuxedo. Tailored perfectly to his body, his white undershirt was irnoed and perfectly buttoned all the way to the top , a black tie sleek and stylish covered over by his jacket. His hair was cut for once, shorter then usual they had spiked it back for him. His glasses were thicker, rimmed in black.

"It was made for my Grandmother before she passed...For her entire life, she had collected books from all over the world..She knew 7 different languages..." He started to make his way down the spiral stair case, his palms sweating as he let them guide him down, any moment now he would be near her.

Josie was running her finger down a novel when Abram's voice rang through the huge library. She gasped, her hand leaving the book and pressing to her chest as she followed the voice. She couldn't really see him from the angle he was standing, but her heart started racing."That's actually a line from my favorite excerpt."She informed him, moving closer to the staircase, she looked at it as it sparkled in the light like it was brand new. Her eyes went back to Abram, licking her lips and placing her hands against the railing. When he spoke next, she looked around the huge library,"This is breathtaking, it was always my dream yo have a library in my house. Instead, my mother built the dance hall."She said simply, still looking around the room."I could spend hours in here.."She whispered, looking back at him as he started to move and she got a better look at him. "Your grandmother must have been a beautiful woman."She said lightly, taking him all in. Once he got close enough, she smiled."You clean up pretty nicely."She commented, noticing how they were only a few feet apart now.
