[Note: All powers/abilities/stats here are non-canon/separate to their canonical counterparts.]

Stormy's growl in abyssal didn't deter Redahlia's overall tone in the slightest, as her pale pupils focused on the troublemaker with perfect conscious of what she said. While it admittedly caught her a bit off-guard at first, knowing her heritage within the draconic sphere made it obvious that she'd likely know of the language of "monsters and beasts". Though Redahlia too knew that same tongue, albeit in a more "refined" and "torch-tongued" manner. The question now was whether Arashi Sato knew of Redahlia's heritage and was speaking to provoke her... or if she was merely cursing under her own breath.

But then she spoke it again... and it sounded all too deliberate. Redahlia was no stranger to Stormy talking back to her, even amiss the colorful language she'd use to get her message across. Her insults were merely sticks and stones to her. However, she was never bold enough to directly challenge her authority in this manner. Using rumors and talk of her past in an attempt to defame her and challenge her power. And who else would? Those that did were quickly put in their place or expelled should they have deserved it truly for their heinous crimes. And any who dared lain a finger on her out of line would pay the price. Though there was something in Stormy's tone that made this interaction more personal...

And the glowing eyes were telling that she was ready to get even... by any means necessary.

The vice-principal's glare turned colder seeing as Stormy was getting ready to physical, with all the purple energy cackling and surging across her body. She knew what was going to happen next. And yet even in the face of immediate danger, Redahlia stood undeterred by the rascal's attempt to intimidate her. And as Stormy threw the first punch, Redahlia countered as her right hand lunged forth to grab hold of Stormy's fist.... stopping it dead in its tracks as an audible THWACK echoed audible in their nearby vicinity. Yet the moment Stormy would collide her fist, she could've sworn she saw the image of a giant blood-red eye staring straight into her soul against a void-black background for a split-second, before returning back to reality.

- [Strength A] + [Vitality B] + [Deflect C] + [Magic C] + [Blood Affinity C] + [Illusion D] -

Clawed scarlet fingernails dug into Stormbreaker's fist, as the attacker would feel as if she hit a solid brick wall. Her grip was stalwart and firm, enough perhaps to feel her arm feeling oddly numb and wobbly as she let it continue to be outstretched. Redahlia glared straight into Stormy's eyes as her pupils were now faintly glowing an ominous crimson-red. "𖤐You know NOTHING, Sato Arashi.𖤐" the vice-principal boomed in her mind within her own Abyssal tongue, her voice deepened and distorted... as if something, or someone, had taken temporary control of her body.

Yet Stormy wouldn't be sure if the voice was truly coming from Redahlia's mouth or if something else was speaking on her behalf.

Then with a simple flick of her wrist, Redahlia pushed her foe back by several feet.

She stood over her like a devil in the pale moonight, her posture regal yet rigid. This defiance of power... will not go unpunished. A lesson was to be made. And being that they were outside of campus grounds, she could let loose as she pleased... the first in a very long time. If this breaker of storms wanted a fight this badly... then the Scarlet Knight would be more than happy to exercise her power in a more direct manner. "Forgive thee miss Gunhild...." Redahlia apologized to Gunhild, her tone firm yet somewhat sad in tone, "Resolving her frampold pother will take hardly but a moment."

The vice-principal then raised her right arm out to the side as what looked to be a dark ornate maroon-colored pointer stick emerged from right under her sleeves like a fancy magician's trick. Yet this so-called pointer stick had a sharp pronged end... putting questionable credence to whether this truly was a fancy pointing stick.

"Thou are bold to challenge me in this manner." she addressed Stormbreaker with regal yet honorable distinct as she wielded her lance low yet with arms outstretched, slowly stepping against the rotation of Stormbreaker's stance, "Long hath it been since mine former venture, yes. That thy but warrant thou. Mine training never left thee. And mine experiences shall forever linger for as long as thee reigns upon this earth."

She then unfurled her lance arm and pointed it at her opponent. "Should'st thou would to strike me again, "breaker of storms", doth so at thy peril." the knight proclaimed in a threatening aura, "But should thou value thy life, back aroint... and we shall forget this interaction aye befell us."

The victory screen lit up in hues of gold and amethyst. Seraphina stood poised in her final frame, her radiant blade raised high like a banner of inevitability.

Hikari exhaled slowly, thumb easing off the final input with practiced grace.

“...That’s game.”

She looked over, ready to tease, to offer a smug little grin—but Kota was already talking. Smiling. Gracious in defeat. Still very much Kota.

It wasn’t until he said he had fun that something tugged at her heart.

That warmth in his voice.

The smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes.

She offered a smile back—soft, maybe even genuine—but something in her chest didn’t quite settle. Not yet.

And then—

His tails brushed her hand.

Just a whisper of contact. A ghost of affection, carefully wrapped in plausible deniability.

It happened in an instant.

And then he was gone.

He turned, walking off toward Moo and Demeter, and with each step he took, something quiet inside Hikari gave way.

The hand he’d touched lingered midair a moment too long.

Oh...

It hit her then.

Not during the game. Not during the banter. Not even when she won.

But now.

Why does it feel like I just lost something I never really had to begin with?

Her eyes followed him for a moment—watching as he made his way back to their friends like nothing had happened. Like that brush of fur hadn’t just sent her heart into a low-orbit spiral.

She blinked. Straightened. Tucked her hair behind her ear.

She still had a role to play.

Turning away from the machine, she let the faint hum of the arcade draw her attention back to the present. And there—slicing through a rhythm game with the intensity of a man on a mission—was Rios.

Locked in. Sword raised. Focus absolute.

She smiled without meaning to.

Of course.

She approached slowly, waiting for a moment of calm before she spoke.

“Hey.” Soft. Measured. Normal.

She leaned lightly against the machine, careful not to throw him off.

“You’re really into this, huh?” She smiled, small but real. “It looks kind of fun. Think I could play the next round with you?”

Her fingers curled around her game card.

Not nervous.

Just… recalibrating.

A flurry of red and blue filled the area surrounding the game cabinet as Rios slashed at the digital entities showing up on the screen. Not only did this machine incorporate the chambara training sword controllers. It ALSO used a floor similar to a dancing game to simulate the FOOTWORK that goes into proper swordplay. Usually this just meant dodging or stepping when the right prompt came up. Rios could feel his body begin to warm up as his hands gripped onto the controllers more tightly. A small semblance of a smile appeared across his face whilst cutting down enemies and racking up a higher score. Naturally this all came to a sudden stop when Hikari made her presence known to Rios. Immediately he remembered WHERE he was and WHAT he was supposed to be doing. After hurriedly finishing up that level and placing one of the controllers back on the cabinet. Rios turned and greeted Hikari. "Umm sure... its pretty straightforward so I'm sure you'll get it" said Rios before handing her the blue chambara sword.

Although swinging the toy sword controller may have seemed easy. Rios took into account that Hikari was a Mage Type so certain habits may have come out even though this was just a game. Taking a few steps towards his date and grasping onto her hands. The young cyan haired warrior did his best to gently guide her through the tutorial without necessarily babying her. He respected Hikari for her inner strength and didn't want her to feel like she couldn't be herself when she was with him. After all, he himself developed his first ever special feelings when Hikari willingly accepted him for who HE was. "The ashigaru offer a point each but those guns of theirs can chip away at your health. Hitting the ninja is pretty hard but its just like trying to get Hiruq to take his bath... predict their predictions. Yeah those samurai can be kinda hard but I can see you're already honing in on their rhythm" whispered Rios since he was doing all he could to make sure he wasn't interrupting HER. Picking up the red chambara sword and starting a beginner level. He demonstrated his own techniques for earning points in hopes Hikari would figure out her OWN way now that she was getting the hang of things.

What Stormbreaker didn’t expect was Redahlia grabbing her fist like that, rather easily. It seemed like she had a rather good amount of strength behind her deflection when she held her fist. Stormbreaker couldn’t break free of but she tried to, despite the lower strength she had. Then she saw it. That weird... eye. Stormbreaker didn’t know what to think.

She had faced villains before and other similar things, but there was something wrong about this. Something off. Then the VP talked to her in an unfamiliar voice, as Stormbreaker felt the pain surge through her wounded arm. It wasn’t enough to stop her, but she felt the pain and the numbness for that amount of time. “... What the hell....?” she spoke, as it called her name. Whatever that was, that was not something she wanted to see again, if ever.

Then Redahlia pushed her back and Stormbreaker went to just... grab her right arm that was damaged. Whatever that was, that was not something that was she could fight offensively. Even with her hero skills, she couldn’t win if she was to go all out. Stormy had to play defensively. It was the only way she could win this fight with these skills.

Stormbreaker noted how Redahlia summoned her lance. That could be an issue given the lance’s range compared to close combat, so she should play it safe. Knowing how she couldn’t get up close and dodge a lance attack at extremely close range. That would lead to her being stabbed. Not to mention her wounded arm.

You flatter me though. Breaker of Storms. No... I just chose the name Stormbreaker because it sounds cool. Means nothing really.” Stormbreaker boasted. “I have regeneration. I’m pretty sure I’ll be fine. Only takes me 42 seconds to regenerate anyway.*

*Per the combat rounds. 6 x 6 is 42 so like... that makes sense?

I’m not afraid of you teach. All you did was injure my arm, you got any more tricks up your sleeve or am I going to have to show you what true strength feels like?” She spoke, smirking from under her helmet.

Smokescreen was viable yet... that would be a bad thing to do. I would be left blind. I can't see past my smoke. The only thing I can do was close my own damn eyes and focus on Danger Sense activating to keep up with attacks. But.. that might not work against a much stronger foe or it, well... could just backfire. Blackwhip could work, but how good would that be? If Red was as strong as I think she is, then she could very likely shrug it off with zero issue. Speed was the only thing I can use to my advantage. I don't know if VP here is faster than me, but... that was a risk I'm going to take. Better than dealing with whatever else this VP has up her sleeve, anyway. Something about this situation feels off. Stormbreaker thought to herself as she stood there.

After a solid few minutes of thinking on what to do and Redahlia probably looking at the draconian funny, Stormbreaker rushed forward using [Full Cowling - 5% - Speed], which allowed her to dash at like 7x her default movement speed of 30ft [so like 210ft basically, she’s fast]. Purple flames surrounded her fist as she did so, throwing a whole fist of fire directly [Vanishing Fist] at Redahlia or at least hoping to, using her other free arm, providing she didn’t like straight up dodge. If that happened, the draconian wouldn’t know to exactly counter that because she’s well... heavily inexperienced in this body.

"So that's thy secret..." Redahllia replied lowly to Stormbreaker's reveal. This explained a whole lot. No wonder she was more then eager to get into scuffles without much of a thought. Scratches, burns, broken bones and organ trauma... Injuries that would take weeks, months or even years to heal - if not being fatal in the first place - would take for her merely minutes to recover. The whole thing about teenagers feeling invincible was, in some ways, taken to a literal effect here. Death seemed so far away, almost an after thought. Though of course... just because she could regenerate didn't mean she was actually immortal. She could feel her hesitation... confident on the outside maybe but inside she no doubt was grappling with whatever she got herself into. Perhaps causing enough damage or in lifting the curse/blessing bestowed upon Stormy would rid her of her trump card.

Of course, Redalia wasn't here to purge Stormbreaker's life by any means... but to merely show an example of her true might against a rapscallion like her. Though if that meant spiting her into recognizing her mortality - something she wouldn't want to commit to if she could help herself - then she'll do what needed to be done. She didn't exercise her skills through mere talk. She'd rather let her actions speak for her.

And so when Stormbreaker launched the next strike, rushing forth towards Redahlia with a raised fist scorched in purple hellfire, the crimson knight was ready for her. She had but mere seconds to respond. Her open hand, the very same which deflected her opponent's initial strike, would begin bubbling and surging with a deep sanguine hue... as blood swirled in mid-air for a brief moment. Then she clenched her fist with an audible squelch and waved it diagonally across her body as a bloody gash was cast in mid-air between her and Stormy's incoming strike.

- [Magic D] + [Blood Manipulation D] + [Deflect D] + [Energized D] + [Knockback F] + [Selective F]

Stormy's fist would collide against the crimson tear with a booming thunk, as the sudden perhaps-unexpected impact would force her to recoil and stagger a humble one meter back. Though immediately afterwards Redahlia would finally make her first proper attack:

- [Magic E] + [Blood Manipulation E] + [Fighting Style [Bloodbath] E] + [Blight [Fire/Burn] E] + [Penetrating E] + [Accurate E] + [AOE F] + [Energized E] + [Fast E] + [Selective F]

With her lance stretched forth, it lunged at Stormbreaker with swift precision as it burst out from the gruesome gash. Both sharped prong-tips would make their mark at they gored through Stormy's right shoulder with lethal accuracy, as Redahlia's spare hand grabbed her face with claws digging into her flesh. Stormy would feel a scorching pain bellow in her wound, as if the blood within her was rapidly getting hotter and hotter... almost unbearably so as it reached its boiling point...

Before exploding right in her face at point-blank range.

Hikari hadn’t really expected him to say yes.

Or maybe she had—but she hadn’t expected this.

The quiet way Rios finished his level and turned toward her, offering the blue chambara sword like it was the most obvious thing in the world. The way he stepped in beside her—not too close, not overbearing—and gently guided her hands into place. His movements were calm, composed. Patient.

Her breath caught—not from nerves, exactly, but from the surprising softness in how he carried himself. There was no lecture, no teasing. Just quiet, deliberate encouragement. It didn’t match the aloof persona he usually wore like armor.

She watched him from the corner of her eye, trying to process the contrast. He was just as focused now as he had been during the simulator fights or sword drills—but different. Softer. And… unexpectedly kind.

Why is he always like this when I’m not ready for it?

Still, she followed his guidance. Her grip steadied. Her posture adjusted. The floor beneath her blinked with rhythmic cues, and her first few swings were clumsy—too early, then too late. But with each tip he offered, each subtle adjustment she made, she could feel the rhythm starting to click.

“Wait—like this?” she asked, slicing through the next incoming target. A satisfying burst of light. Then another. Her mouth twitched into a smile.
“Okay... this is actually kind of fun.”

When he made that offhand remark about Hiruq, her laughter came without hesitation.

“You remember that?” she grinned. “He’d barrel through the door like a linebacker the second he heard the faucet. I had to predict where he was gonna run just to corner him.”

The memory warmed her chest like a soft ember. She gave a fond shake of her head, then raised her sword again with renewed determination.

Her movements weren’t perfect—but they were smoother now. Her strikes were more confident, better timed. She wasn’t just reacting. She was starting to read the flow.

“Thanks,” she said after a beat, her tone shy but sincere. “You’re really good at this.”

She glanced over briefly, cheeks faintly pink.

“At teaching, I mean.”

No more words followed. She didn’t need to fill the silence.

Instead, she turned her attention back to the screen and stepped into the next beginner level beside him—her sword raised, her stance mirroring his. Watching. Learning.

Just trying to find her own rhythm.

Gunhild grinned at Redahlia's compliment, fidgeting with her hands as she cheerfully hummed.
"Thankies, Reds, Reds is more pretties tho's. Very much's" Gunhild complimented, although due to a lack of response time, it would felt like their time out had gone rather false albeit the entirety had been enjoyable. Having managed to get down some drinks and dine upon the treats they'd gotten to start their time out together, Gunhild too had hoped to achieve something at the arcade as a sign of such a great outing. Although she'd have liked to get something to commemorate the memory, her time at the arcade had her set her sights on a different prize. Similar to Redahlia's gain in a cute little plushie, she'd obtained one of a small pink fox that had caught her eye. Something familiar, it'd make a sweet little gift to give to her friend. She'd have invited that friend, but after an unfortunate incident that left her attacked and hospitalised, Gunhild could only continue doing good like working at the school to keep her mind clear and to give something positive to talk to her friend about. Visiting every day gave her the comfort of knowing how she was doing, but the lurking background thoughts of their worsening condition didn't help their confidence.

Gently clutching the small fox plush, she'd returned back to reality. Gunhild really hadn't been paying attention for a while, looking up to have noticed for a moment Redahlia confronting Stormbreaker. It felt like trying to enjoy a simple day off wasn't going to happen so simply.
"Smolbreakie, why'ses Smolbreakie heres nows?" Gunhild asked softly, she was a little out of her mind after getting so distracted by what concerned her in the background of her head. Then, everything felt like a blur. Fighting, between Red and SB, she wasn't even sure why or what. Usually willing to step in with such trouble and confrontation, she just held rather silently as she watched it all go down.

"Uhm... suresies" Gunhild muttered to Redahlia saying it'd be over quick, although it was becoming a lot more... dramatic than she would've ever expected.
"Uhh.... " Gunhild mumbled, seeing as it felt like they couldn't exactly come between all that was happening.
"Maybes Smolbreakie and Reds... no fighties? Is not nice place to fights. And, Gunhild no wants fights. So's... no fighties, yes?" Gunhild asked peacefully, hoping that their dispute could be resolved a lot more maturely. Considering what was weighing on her mind, she'd rather not deal with tedious conflicts with her coworker and a troublesome student outside of school times.

Since the fight had been rather severe, Gunhild awkwardly lowered her hand to her pocket. Gunhild had no idea how to support the situation, deciding she might as well quietly distract herself as she pulled out her phone. Stormbreaker clearly wasn't doing too hot. Turning her phone horizontally, she tried to keep her nervous self under control as she peacefully tapped away at the thing that distracted her.
"Uhm... no fighties now? Yesses? Is bad do... " she softly added, though it didn't feel like her addition was going to do anything. Hesitantly looking at her phone, she wondered if she could maybe calm Redahlia down.

Giving her a light tap on the shoulder, Gunhild blushed a little as she sheepishly displayed her phone screen to Redahlia.
"Uhm, Red, looks. Gunhild has 85 million powers in Rise of Kingdoms game. Gunhild dids it by picking Vikings, Gunhild starting power too lows, was one, dids not gets what Gunhild wanteds. Thens Gunhild did smart do's. Gunhilds starteds making farms and fishings for early game moneys, thens new peoples appeareds. Gunhild build houses, raise taxes, big incomes. Barbarians attacks, but Gunhilds build armies. Make safes, Gunhild all powerfuls, uses Vikings strong special skill. Gets more fishies, better war peoples. Gunhild now super strong, many 85 millions powers and gettings more. Is cool, yesses? Reds?" Gunhild softly added, looking to the woman who had been so ruthlessly partaking in unnecessary conflict. They had responsibility and reputation to uphold, it wouldn't do well for word to get around of Redahlia severely injuring a student for no reason.

Starting with the smokescreen would give her an advantage, but she wanted to be special. She didn’t want to throw all of her trump cards onto one table. She already told Redahlia about her regeneration, after all. Stormy knew teach her would likely use that to her advantage. How? She didn’t know. All she knew was the only way to win was to be unexpected in the fight. So that’s what she did. She sure was regretting her decision not doing so to not start off with a trump card.

She thought her fist would connect and do some damage, but of course Redahlia decided to deflect and counter her. This blood magic was getting on her nerves. Not only could it deflect, she probably could use it to attack too. That would have been a pain to deal with. Stormbreaker didn’t get the chance to even think as she dragged her soles into the ground as she got staggered back. She then wasn’t able to keep up with Redahlia’s assault with her lance.

The searing pain came through her right shoulder than her lance pierced through. The draconian gritted her teeth in pain. She didn’t want to show fear or anything of the sort. Stormbreaker was a former pro hero. She was used to this stuff. Getting injured like this was a daily thing on the job. She always got back up, but that pain was something else entirely. “Couldn’t... even fight fair. If that’s the way it is, then-

Then Redahlia grabbed her. She couldn’t even get free of the VP. It’s not like she did have the strength to. What good would her strength do? All she had was her free left arm that she could use in this situation.. and well... blackwhip, but what good was that going to do? It’s not like she could have attempted to get out of this overall. She felt the pain through her blood as the end result of the exploding blood. It was painful. It felt like her entire body was overheating from her flames.

Stormbreaker struggled to get free of Red’s grip. Then came in, Gunhild, who begged Redahlia and Stormbreaker to stop fighting. Gunhild meant the very one-sided fight that was going on. When Gunhild attempted to stop Redahlia from dispensing justice on the poor student, Stormbreaker had her chance... she opting for another solution, although stupid and silly. “Try harder.

Then Stormy attempted to bite Redahlia’s hand using her sharp teeth [Natural Weapons D (Body)]. Not like that would be actually useful, but that’s one way to be annoyed. She was already immeasurably disappointed, and her day was ruined. What was the worst Redahlia could do? Give her an even worse bad time in a fight?

No, she was attempting to win in some shape or form. She breathed in and out, trying to steady her breathing despite the pain. If she couldn’t break free, she could at least attempt to like hinder Redahlia’s somewhat. She felt her power course through her and well, came out the black energy tendrils of her left arm. She used fired those off, wrapping around Redahlia’s arm and attempting to yank her off. The attack was rather weak compared to the VP’s attacks and Redahlia likely could have broken it easily, but Stormy wasn’t taking any chances.

Sides, we gat morr may-tin seesons inda fiuterr." Moo playful slapped her teammate's shoulder. "Lessgo shut em up!" She meant play basketball.

Moo dragged her teammates to one of the few places she knew where to go. There was a small neighborhood with different beastkin who gathered to play street basketball. She strolled in with confidence, challenging anyone to a three on three. It was long before the game was set up and they stood in front of their opponents, a Lion man, one that Moo guessed was a bear and some sort of lizard.

The day didn't end how Moo imagined, with her teammate rejected, her losing to the machine and Demeter didn't get her laser tag. But, despite the losing, Moo had fun. Hopefully next time they would get better results, but as long as there was a next time, Moo was more than happy to lose that way.

At first Hikari seemed to be struggling with swinging the plastic sword around. However after some gentle prodding. She seemed to be getting into the rhythm of things. The pair were happily cutting away at the digital foes on the screen. Rios was pretty sure this didn't count as training. Although he was somewhat happy he could spend this time with Hikari. She was making good on her promise from the start of this little excursion for the two of them to have some one on one time. Observing Hikari able to shed her firmly held role as Student Council President and just enjoy herself was enough to plaster Rios's face with the faintest of smiles. Soon the machine began spitting out tickets like it was a binge eater spilling out the contents of its bad decision making. Inspecting the tickets and doing his best to count them. Rios held them up for Hikari to see since it was JUST enough for the Beetle Samurai X Replica Swords. Grabbing her hand and running towards the college student sleeping with his face down on the counter. Rios handed his bundle of tickets over while doing his best not to bounce around like a hyper-active chipmunk. "Congratulations.... you've spent enough money to win these.... literal childrens toys" said the tired arcade worker.

Taking the replica swords in his hands. Both of them looked super legit despite being obvious non-functioning replicas. None of that mattered to Rios since he had the SAME SWORDS AS BEETLE SAMURAI NOW. The smile on his face was probably the closest Hikari or any of the Student Council to what normal people would consider BEAMING by Rios standards since he didn't emote much. At least until he noticed a little foxkin child talking with the arcade worker. "Please Mister. Can I just pay you back with tickets later? My sister really needs that Beetle Samurai Sword!" cried the small child with tears forming in his tiny eyes. Apparently HE wanted the Beetle Samurai Swords too. Unfortunately for him, Rios had already won the pair thanks to his and Hikari's relentless ticket grinding. "Hey kid... why does your sister need that sword?" asked Rios, squeezing Hikari's hand before walking over to the fluffy tailed child. "She's going into surgery soon... and she's scared. I want her to be brave like Beetle Samurai" muttered the foxkin child with his fox ears drooping. Rios took a moment to consider the situation. Naturally there was only one solution to this problem. "Catch" stated Rios before tossing one of the replica swords to the kid. The fox child caught the replica sword, his little eyes threatening to pop out of his head in surprise. "Whats your name?" said Rios while twirling the other replica sword in his hand. "Kiba" whispered the fox cub, holding the replica sword tightly to his chest. "Kiba. Take that sword to your sister..... then come challenge me for the other one when you grow up" said Rios while resting his own replica sword on his shoulder. Kiba burst into tears but made something like a promise before scurrying off.

"Sorry about that... you worked so hard for those tickets.... I promise I'll pay you back Hikari"

Kota held his head in his hands, partially trying to keep a straight face as Moo clearly lied about breaking the machine. Surely they could just play the cameras back and see a 6 ft deer slamming the ball into the hoop full force.

Still he was proud, she didn’t get scared, and stuck to what she knew. The bundle of tickets that spat out the machine after though was pretty
impressive. A grin would rise out the corner of his lips, the first in a bit of time. Once the employee let him go, Moo suggested they get out of here.

“I’m that obvious huh?” He rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. “Some fresh air wouldn’t hurt.” Since he was in the comfort of his teammates, the fox retreated to the inner conscious of his mind unknowingly. Unpacking what just transpired and processing what to expect from here on out. He’d have lost his appetite but he’d partake in ramen for his teammates sake.

“Ramen sounds pretty good. I think I might know what booth you’re talking about.”

As he’d leave with Moo and Demeter, he’d take one more glance back at Hikari. She was enjoying her time with Rios, an earnest smile on her face as the two played the game together and shared a moment.

A defeated sigh would escape his lips before they curved into a fake smile as he put his jacket on. Slipping both hands into each pocket. For now, he’d lie and say he’s happy for her to cope with the pain.

“Maybe in another timeline.”

He’d tell himself under his breath as he slipped out the arcade with his crew.

He’d go for the usual Tonkatsu ramen, as the broth hit his face his eyes would light up and his appetite reignited. The first stage grief begging to settle in as he aggressively ate the ramen.

“What a day ladies.” He sighed after the first bite.

The streetlights felt extra bright tonight or perhaps it was Kota’s imagination. He’d look to the side of the road watching the cars go by. “Hey capt, and bean, wanna head to the gym or a basketball court after this and get some shots up after this? Think I’d like to blow off some steam.” he’d sip a spoonful of hot pork broth before pointing his chopsticks at moo.

“Guess we can’t hang out there together anymore, once the roll back the cameras and see a 6 ft 5 athletic deer in a short skirt dunking the ball like Mike in his prime.

[Comically, a humorous dust cloud can be seen masking the true effects of combat.]

Redahlia's brutal counteroffensive may have been overkill - and certainly something she didn't want to commit - but this was a situation that had garnered her true ire. A trigger that let her blood run hot and rampant against the likes of someone infamous as Stormbreaker - the first she'd ever done in what felt like years. Without the poor sap's regeneration, perhaps the Vice Principal would've been more forgiving and light on the punishment. But that very addition put in place a ravenous opportunity. An ancient primordial bloodlust. And whether or not Redahlia felt like doing this on her own or the echoes of her past life craving vengeance was up to one's interpretation.

Not that she was truly in actual danger.

Of course, her willingness to do battle so quickly could be seen as... unprofessional. Out of pocket. And perhaps... out of character. Rarely did anyone see Redahlia as furious as she is right now yet never had she lain a hand on anyone... until now. Rumors claimed otherwise, but they were merely just that. Rumors. A legendary terrifying fighter hiding underneath a battle-scarred woman with a past knee-deep beyond anyone's purview.

Feeling Stormy bite into her hand, Redahlia's glare strengthened as she pressed against the pain in a stalwart expression. Though given how hard the bite was, it was certainly going to leave a visible mark. Then her foe unleashed a volley of black tendrils with wrapped around the same arm in an attempt to get free of her iron-grasp. The feeling of them slapping against her skin and clothing was weird and unpleasant, but hardly anything to write home about... or a report card for the usage of illegal magics.

"Is this forsooth the meetest thou got?" she taunted the vigilante coldly, as she continued bearing down with a grip that while still holding was slowly slipping, "Clearly thou hast much to wot..."

Meanwhile, as the fight continued on, Gunhild would calmly attempt to diffuse the situation between the two, talking about that new hot game that's been popular recently. The Vice-Principal didn't seem to register what she said, though there was the sense of urgency to settle this quickly and cleanly. She knew what she was doing was, according to the books, wrong. Now it was her responsibility to end this. That only meant one thing... to tap into powers she casted as solely forbidden. Some which considered to be... unnatural.

There was no other way.

"𖤐You are hardly worth my time as you are...𖤐" Redahllia growled in her deviled tongue; her eyes flaring a bright red. She began lifting the poor Stormy into the air with her fist firm against the scruff of her collar, "𖤐This pointless squabble ends now.𖤐"

Suddenly a red mist surges down her grappling arm and is injected into Stormbreaker as sharped nails pierce the outer epidermis of her skin. It wouldn't cause her to bleed - though given what she committed what would it matter - but the substance was quick to enter the victim's bloodstream. Stormy would gradually feel her consciousness begin to get fuzzy and numb. Her senses seemed to feel as if they were dulling... and her head feeling as heavy as an anvil. Even her body began to feel... calmer. Before long, the poor vigilante would find herself teetering on the edge of consciousness before succumbing to an incapacitated slumber.

The fight would end as quickly as it started.

The vice-principal waited for a moment to ensure her offender was subdued. While her left shoulder seemed badly mangled, the regeneration should be in effect by now if Stormy was true to her word. She will walk it off just fine once she'd wake up. Carefully the vice principal lowered the student down to the ground, cradling her body respectfully as she lain her against the wall. She also used part of Stormy's cloak to conceal the wound, as not to draw attention from anyone else nearby, and positioned her in a way that made it look as if she was sleeping.

Though before she'd depart, Redahlia fetched into her bag and pulled out that red dragon plushie she got from the arcade. She took a moment to inspect it closely, admiring the embroidering and softness of its material. Then she glanced at the red-tailed draconian. While she was certainly no match for Redahlia in her current state, even the Vice-Principal quietly admitted to herself that Stormy had potential... though it needed refinement. Her temper also needed... improvement. Should she be the vigilante that upholds crime, there was more to this then merely ripping her body apart.

The fame. The risk on her friends and family. The unintended threat she had to general authority of governmental powers beyond the school's influence. A hardship that she was merely scratching the surface of. Potential was there. All it needed was proper guidance and a safe release. And perhaps one day she may become a true hero bearing the form of a red draconian...

She then placed the plushie in one of Stormy's arms, positioning it in a manner as if she had been cradling with it to sleep. It was at least some sort of compensation for this incident.

Standing back up, the vice-principal gave a tired sight as Gunhild noticed the blood on her clothing (should there be any) had miraculously vanished from staining her skin and even clothing. As if they were absorbed into her... All that was left now was ruffled clothing and hair. And by now, Stormy's forty-two second regen might've already healed most of the damage wrought upon herself.

Redahlia then glanced back at Gunhild with a solemn glance. "Thy am sorry that thou had to bear witness to this." she apologized. Walking over to her she plants a gentle hand on her shoulder. "She shall wake within the hour. Do not fret. Though I request to thee in keeping this incident off the records. Say this to none... Though should'st thou see me bare such unhinged savagery again to any student in the manner seen before thee, no matter how bold, I decree thou to bear me accountable. And I shall see to mine own issues by the principal's hand. Mark my word."

Taking her hand off her shoulder, Redahlia proceeded to clear her throat as she took a deep breath. Her personality reverted back to their unusually positive self. "Now then! All this hath made me quite ravenous. Shall we hie and eat something first? Or shall we continue forth to the shops?"
