Almost there, What kind of magic spells should I put? He's not adept at magic so he needs physical components.
You can make up stuff or use dnd for inspiration, that's essentially how I've done it.
Sulfur and batpoop = fireball
"Fantasy named leaves" with "fantasy named berries" crushed and applied with spit = healing hand.
Blue Ruunem crystals = ice/water magic

If what you have seems to much or to little we can edit it after

Sorry for my absence, I'm typically busy on weekends. Would it also be alright if I left it blank for now? I don't think he'd have any need for spells so he wouldn't have the supplies to complete them at the moment.

I'm not the GM, but Imma go out on a limb based on what's detailed and assume spells are an optional thing.

Happy holidays, I'm still getting over a viral infection whilst working but I'm still running this if people are keen and when I'm more available aha

With four characters a party can be formed! If you want to bump the check or ask friends if they wanna jump in before it kicks off now would be the time

Some time soonish then, can't give a exact date but when I don't have a headache I'll be starting back up in terms of fiction lol

Hope the first post isn't to shitty, figured we can rp introductions of sorts and bits of walking and talking before we maybe use dice for the first time.

How dice will work should we wanna do it... you would post in the ooc what your action or intention is then edit that post to roll one 20 sided die.
If it's 20 you succeed in the best possible way.
If its 1 you fail in the spectacular fashion.
Its up to you to flavour it be it bad luck or a actual fuck up.
Apart from those two automatics your success will be determined by what your trying to do and how high you roll.

Say you wanna throw a rock at a window and your two meters away.
You roll 5 or higher and you win 4 or lower and you fail. I'll post a example below

Attacking a horned wolf with a slingshot-

Farfell aims his lead ball and let's it fly, it sails through the air coming up short not reaching his target at all.

Suppose a 10 sided die may be a bit more consistent,

1 being total failure
2 3 4 being unsuccessful
5 being a nothing or reroll
6 7 8 9 being successful
10 being a grand success

I had a busy Holiday Season and New Year's. I just now got a post up. Hopefully from here, we can get the ball rolling. And the dice will keep things fair, so I'm up for using them. For simplicity, the ten-sided die will do. And for Luana's first action, she's gonna try to convince Swifty to slow down and take one quest at a time and to take things slow because unexpected circumstances can come up.

To clarify; you wanna roll to convince/persuade now? If so go at it with the D10 and I'll act accordingly in the next post I make aha

Suppose he's all like "guess they do travel in packs and are capable of magic..." then realises some practice or at the very least a plan of some sort between the party is needed. Hunting said wolves ain't like normal wolves and killing bandits is probably easier.

Though its somewhat common knowledge that flying rats are one of the ways vampirism spreads. Those bit by said rats will eventually turn into a undead abominations that hunger for blood.

similar to but not a proper vampire.

The difficulty level would technically be
Bandits being the easiest, providing there's not a tremendous amount.
Horned Wolves being harder cause packs and electric capabilities.
Rat nests being the main challenge due to said infection/curse they carry and spread. Destroying the nest and any undead about it.

And given that Luana has been a Ranger longer then Swifty's been alive, she'd likely know by now how dangerous the Horned Wolves and Rats' Nests can be. Ironically, she'd struggle against the bandits. While they should be easier, yes, Luana does struggle against humanoid enemies because she isn't used to fighting them regularly.
