Spirit was wondering how obvious that he hadn't read the letter, just skimmed it. He watched Crimson as she was explaining the group and instantly thought, 'They sound like lost puppies....' He sighed silently and quickly asked, "So...who's the leader?"


Caterina looked up at Athena confused and watched interested as she looked through her purse. "What are you doing?" she asked even though Athena wouldn't understand her.

Athena looked up at caterina when she heard the tiny bells " Oh you probably think I'm crazy" she said giggling. "I'm looking for something for you. Ah ha right here!" She pulled out a gorgeous dress. It was turquoise and sparkled just like the fairies wings in the sun. It was a knee high dress with a little longer of light weight material that flowed over the shorter parts but only in the back and on one side. Leaving a sexy gap towards one side. " Look it's just your size! Do you like it?! You can have it if you do." She looked at Caterina with big eyes waiting for her answer.

Catrina held up the dress in front of her and then turned it around to hold it against her. She smiled and really liked it, but she looked at her boots with the dress and frowned. She suddenly looked around until she found a leaf the same color of the dress. She gave Athena the dress and flew over to the leaf. She pulled out a sewing needle and sat on leaf for a while. She quickly flew back to Athena holding small little flat shoes and held them next to the dress. "What do you think?" she wondered hoping Athena understood what she was asking.

Athena watched Caterina as she was making something out of this leaf. It was amazing watching her tiny little hands work. After Caterina was done she flew over and showed Athena what she made. "Wow!!! If I hadn't just seen you make these I would never believe you did this! And so fast! They are beautiful!!" Athena was really impressed.

Crimson tilted her head to the side and thought for a moment, "There isn't really any leader. If you want to talk about who came here first that we be me!"

Cheshire sighed floating lazily back and forth between the gathered people. Maddsyn was asleep...again. This time she had fallen fully of the tree stump and was laying curled up on top of Dor. The fact that the two of them could sleep so much always amazed him. But then again it was the Dormouse's nature to sleep and since Madd relied on it's powers it would make her sleepy as well. After a moment of boredom Cheshire decided to go wake Maddsyn. Puffing into a cloud of smoke her reappeared behind her. He pounced on her back, knocking her off of Dor and into the grass.


Maddsyn awoke with a soft snort, face first in the grass. Yawning she rolled onto her back, sitting up slowly as she adjusted her hat. Rubbing her eyes with one hand the other went to her pocket. She pulled out her deck of cards. Done rubbing her eyes she began shuffling the cards, hands moving swiftly as she did a variety of shuffling tricks with the cards. She stood a smile on her face as she spotted Cheshire who had retreated to hide near Crimson and another new boy. A soft flick of her fingers brought a card to on hand a with a flick of her wrist she tossed the card which whistled through the air, between the two, and hit the tree were Cheshire had been before disappearing. It sunk deep into the bark since the card was a sharp as any blade.

"Oh I missed... Ah well to bad... Ahh but I will need that card back..."

Pesky cat... Next time I'll get him for sure...

Alexander looked at Crimson with a raised eyebrow as he asked, "So, do you even have a plan? I mean just sitting here and waiting seems like your asking to get attacked..."


Caterina smiled at Athena widely and nodded. She threw up some green dust to spell out: Its my talent. Though she wasn't sure if Athena would understand what she was talking about. She threw up more dust to ask: Will you hold on to those? Caterina pointed at the dress and shoes.

Athena saw what Caterina wrote with her pixie dust and smiled. " Well its a very neat talent! Of course I will!" Athena was so happy to have such an awesome friend. She tucked the adorably tiny clothes into her tiny purse. Glancing up she saw crimson and a new person talking across the way. "Hey look!" Athena gasped pointing at the new guy. " and here I thought no one else was gonna show!" Athena said happily. As soon as she finished her sentence she saw Madd throw her cards at the cat beside them and giggled. "Looks like Madd is awake again" Athena smiled.

"Even if they attacked we all have something special about us. If we work together we should be able to defend yourselves," smiling happily Crimson began to hum a tune to herself.

Caterina smiled at Athena and then looked at Made, noticing her wake up and everything before Athena noticed her but was distracted by her to look at the new person.


Spirit wondered then what everyone's special abilities were but felt he had asked enough questions already. He jumped as the card went between him and Crimson and into the tree. His head snapped to look at Made, his eyes flashing red for a split second. "His that her speciality?" he asked surprised, pointing at the card.

Shrugging her shoulders Crimson smiled, "Not sure but I like her. She speaks prettily"

Spirit chuckled, but it was darker than what fit Alexander and he quickly cleared his thought to make it sound awkward. "I would have never guested," he said as he glanced at the card. 'Maybe these kids have some hope after all,' he thought interested.

Crimson smiled at him, there was something a little dark about this boy. But she still liked him a lot, maybe enough to share her secret...


"Yeah we might just have a chance..."

He glanced at Crimson and smiled but thought, 'she took the word right out of my mouth...'

Shoot... Looking at Alex with worried eyes Crimson bit her lip, He didn't say that out loud...

Maddsyn sighed as she got up. Dor resumed his floating position anchoring his tail around her waist once more. Still shuffling her cards she crossed the clearing. She was of a mind to retrieve the card she had previously dispatched. In the mean time she was keeping a keen eye out for Cheshire as she still intended to get a spot of revenge for the cat knocking her into the grass. Almost absently she was rapidly transferring the deck of cards from one hand to the other. The cards themselves were interesting if one looked at them closely enough. They were by all accounts a regular deck of cards though the designs on the faces were slightly more whimsical. The backs however were jet black with a two knight pieces, one in red and the other in white, in the center mirroring each other. Around this was a light coil of smoke and behind both the Vorpal Blade. Sweeping behind Crimson and the other male she plucked the card from the tree. She turned to Crimson and her companion showing them the card.

"The Queen of Hearts, a card of bluster... No wonder I missed but I am glad it has now been retrieved... It would be quite the misfortune if I lost a card... People seem to say that I've lost my marbles quite frequently... So I can't afford to loose anything else... Oh and hello who might you be...?"

My yet another head in need of a good hatting...


Do they not have hatters were these people come from...


Oh that would be a frightful disgrace...

Spirit watched Madd and just looked confused as she spoke until she mention loosing her marbles, making him chuckle. 'That's for sure,' he thought. He cleared his throat as he said, "My name is Alexander, and who might you be?"

Crimson skipped over to Madd and smiled, "Can I have some tea, Madd?"


Smiling at the lady Crimson stared at awe as she always did when she was in the presence of the Mad Hatter's daughter.

Madd nodded, taking of her hat for a moment. She rummaged inside it for a moment, retrieving a cup and saucer. She handed them both to crimson and then rummaged about some more before pulling out a steaming teapot. She poured some tea in the girls cup and produced a spoon. Flipping the top off the pot as she had done before she added a few scoops of sugar to the cup as well as the spoon. She dropped the pot back into the hat and rummaged around again for a moment to find her cigarette case. Taking one out she found a match, struck it on her pants leg, and lit the cigarette. Taking a puff she tucked the case in her pocket and flipped her hat on to her head once more. She exhaled a plume of the sweet scented pale blue smoke. She gave a brief flourishing bow before introducing herself.

"I'm Maddsyn T. Hatter, but you may call me Madd... Or Hatter... But never both... It's a pleasure to meet you I assure... Oh and do drink your tea Crimson before it gets cold..."

Such a strange individual... He strikes me as quite dark...


He'd do wonderfully in Wonderland...

Spirit watched confused as she pulled out everything, especially the tea pot full of tea, for Crimson. He stepped back though as he smelled the sweet smoke but acted as if he thought it would be like normal cigarette smoke. He bowed down politely after Made introduced herself as he said, "Please to meet you Madd." He stood up straight and looked from the tea to her hat. 'Where in the world is this girl from,' he thought.

Crimson happily sipped at the tea feeling the warmth in her mouth, "Do you want some," looking at Spirit Crimson offered her cup of tea.

He smiled and shook his head. "Aw no I don't want to be a bother," he said sounding slightly awkward.

Handing the cup to him Crimson shook her head, "It is no trouble and I don't mind. I shared my cup with lots of others before!"


Hearing a wolf howl Crimson looked quickly to her left and then to her right, "Something isn't right..."

Athena heard the wolf howl too, and got scared. She felt it would be better to be closer to the group than just her and Caterina by themselves. After hurrying to the group of three she felt slightly embarrassed about being so scared " I figured we should come say hi to the new person in our group." She said smiling in hopes that she didn't come off as a wuss.

(I'm just going to call him Alexander when he looks like Alexander) He hesitantly took the tea cup. "Oh thank you." He sipped it a bit and sighed since he couldn't taste it. As Crimson spoke though he looked at her confused. "What do you mean?"
