That is an excellent resource. I am in the process of doing write-up and image editing for the rp. Anyone interested in being plot villains or having a story line included should let me know before that gets going.

Well, as far as the rp goes, I'm considering opening options to be a creature, in which case you have relative statistics that match power and abilities. If you're a planeswalker, you won't have a "deck", necessarily, but rather a style of magic based on the mana colors and spells that you typically cast. When it comes to the cards, planeswalker abilities are just the spells they tend to cast at that point. I'll ask each person to come up with 3-4 abilities that mirror spells that could appear their colors.
I will probably use the guilds in Ravnica at their current point in the story before branching out. With the reformation of a guild pact not based on magic there's plenty of room to kick off conflict. Maybe something about a sudden influx of planeswalkers on the plane, which is just something that's going to happen by nature of rp.

Either way, if anyone wants help balancing a character's abilities or choosing their colors feel free to shoot me a message. If you have character story that you'd like to see in the plot, I'll also be glad to write it into the story a bit. I think I'll have several planar events in a sandbox world rather than forcing a storyline, but if anyone is interested in specific planes or conflicts I'd love to include those as well.
Um, Azor I, the planeswalker parun of Azorius created an ancient aether barrier thing around ravnica designed to keep planeswalkers out, it doesn't work well. Additional effects of the barrier makes anyone who dies on ravnica become a spirit, and expands the human life span by about 100%, on ravnica, 100 is 50. Another fact, very few non-planeswalkers know about planeswalkers, because Sorin "To protect the multiverse" kills any planeswalker or anyone they tell who tells about planeswalkers, he's been around for along time too.

A sudden influx of planeswalkers on ravnica is unlikely, as its virtually impossible to get there.

When was it said Sorin did that? Also, not sure if that shield that is still canon

When was it said Sorin killed other walkers?

I don't know if the barrier is still canon, as in recent stories Ravnica is virtually teeming with planewalkers (some of them even had to conspire with each other to prevent niv-mizzet from discovering them)

Does the story acknowledge everything that happened in Return to Ravnica?

I believe it said so in one of the Dack books when Dack nearly told a family on Innistrad.

The fact is that planeswalkers have come and gone from Ravnica and current events draw them to it. Whether people know or not is left to the efforts of the guilds, but that is another conflict within the story. I would prefer if we didn't nitpick and argue before entering into an rp together, because this really sets a bad precedent.
