Fantasy Magic Brew Cafè (CLOSED)

Akira smiled rubbing her forehead "Yeah and you guys are the perfect ones to do it" Her eyes flicked to Ellie when Ellie spoke. She smiled brighter "That's a good idea"

Alexander sighed he and Luke already planned for different attacks but they couldn't cover every single one. They even had a barrier put up around the spot the wedding would take place.

He glanced over at his Fiancee a loving smile on his face as he watched her sleep. He leaned over and kissed her forehead. She reached out for him when he pulled away with a wimper. Alexander chuckled and leaned in close again kissing her forehead, then her eyes, then her nose, then her cheeks then finally her lips Akira moaned and her eyelashes fluttered open as Alexander pulled back "Good morning my beautiful sleeping princess" Alexander said smiling lovingly. Akira smiled back with just as much love "Good morning my handsome prince. Now let me go back to sleep" Alexander sighed rolling his eyes as she closed her eyes again "I won't leave this room until you wake up." Akira smiled at that "Then maybe I'll never wake up again then I can always have you to myself" she joked.

Alexander chuckled "Come on get up, Do you not remember what today is little bird?" Akira cracked one eye open "Hm? What day is it?" Alexander looked mock hurt "Why its our wedding, I can't believe you forgot" Akira shot up "WHAT?! Its our...oh" Akira blushed beet red and Alexander laughed at her expression pulling her into a hug and burying his face in her hair "Mhm"

Akira looked down at the floor "Maybe we should postpone it" Alexander's eyes shot open as he lift his head from her hair holding her tighter "NO! I am not letting that B*tch ruin your dream wedding. We are having this wedding no matter what, I will kill her myself if I have to just so that I can marry you!" Akira looked up at him seeing the determination, the sincerity and love in his eyes her heart melted "Alright...Alright" she smiled tears pricking her eyes she felt so lucky to have him.

Alexander caught a tear that fell "Why are you crying?" Akira smiled brighter "I'm so happy, you make me feel so loved. I don't think I could ever live without you. I'm just so lucky to have you in my life Alex." Alexander's breath hitched and he smiled "I feel the exact same way Akira. Except I KNOW I could never live without you." Akira smiled and hugged him tight

Alexander sighed "We should go eat breakfast" Akira groaned "That means getting up, I'd really really rather just stay here with you, you're warm" Alexander chuckled and stood up taking her with him. Akira squeaked "H..Hey! Atleast put me down first!" Alexander smiled and set her down on the ground grabbing his back "auugh my aching back you're so heavy you've broken my back" he teased dramatically. Akira raised an eyebrow smile on her face "Oh? I'll break more than that if you don't knock that off. Are you really so weak you can't lift your wife to be?"

Alexander's eyes twinkled with amusement as he picked her up again in a princess carry running to the kitchen "Now who's weak?" he smirked. Akira glared at him "Alex put me down"

He responded with a "No" and until they got to the kitchen their conversation was "Put me down" "No" "Put me down or die" "Nooope" "Alex!" "Akira!" "Put me down now" "No, no a thousand times no" "Jerk" "Idiot" and it went on like that for awhile.

Once they got there the servants already had the table set the head cook standing there amused but annoyed "Hurry up and eat now. Don't want ya passing out on your wedding day do we?" Akira and Alexander both blushed The cook smiled warmly at them "Take care of him Princess, you and I both know he can be a handful right?" Akira giggled nodding and Alexander let out a "Hey! I am not!" The cook rolled her eyes the same time as Akira both of them saying "Suuure, Keep lieing to yourself."

After that they dug into breakfast which soon turned into a food fight and a lot of angry but amused staff who instead of cleaning up made the Prince and Princess do it as they heard the two of them had cleaned the cafe so they decided the royals could clean for once since they made the mess. They were watched like hawks but managed to finish quickly. They then rushed to the portal room going to the cafe.

As soon as they got there they rushed inside the bell ringing laughing. Akira needed to make sure the dresses for the girls fit and they needed to pick everyone up.

@Everyone

Raya stood in front of her mirror, scowling at the remaining red that circled her neck. She had nightmare last night about it, that huge hand around her neck, when she woke up in a panic she had decided not breathing really freaking sucked. She frowned at the pink hair still gracing her head then grabbed the dress she picked out the night before. It looked fairly similar to a 1950s dress -which wasn't surprising considering she had swiped it from a 1950s costume. It had thin straps and fit comfortably around her chest tightening a bit at her waist before fanning out like a shortened poodle skirt. The dress was a nice pastel yellow, making the bright pink polka dots stand out like a sore thumb. She smiled then quickly changed into it, hopping around the room like an idiot as she blindly did the zipper up and hooked the top. She heard Merle yelling at her to quit making so much racket which had Raya sticking out her toung at the wall, knowing Merle was on the other side doing the exact same thing.

She laughed then pulled her hair out of the braid she had left it in and brushed it carefully, making sure not to ruin the waves the braid had made then put hairspray throughout her hair. She put on a yellow headband, mascara and some bright pink lipstick then walked over to the kitchen where Pops was making bacon, "Pig killer!" She squealed with a laugh then grabbed the few pieces that sat on her plate and took a bite, "You look nice." Her uncle said and she threw her bacon at him, "You didn't make it crunchy! And thanks..." she muttered and he tipped his head back and howled which had her blushing then scrambling for her purse so she could go. Her aunt stopped her and held up the two neatly wrapped boxes, "Did you forget something?" She asked and Raya just snatched them and hugged her aunt, "You guys are mean, teasing me so early in the morning. I am on food strike until that bacon is crunchy!" She declared then walked out the door, forgetting her purse completely as she placed the presents in the basket of her bike and wheeled off towards the cafe.

Once she was there she pulled the presents out of her basket and knocked on the door of the cafe, careful not to drop the bright red boxes. For Akira she had bought a pack of beer -mainly to annoy Alexander- but there was also a pretty necklace hiding with the alchohal, for Alexander she just got a spellbook (which was very hard to aquire considering she hadn't known where to look) She looked at the fancy handwriting on them that said there names recalling how she had to beg Merle to pull up her cursive skills for those. She knocked again, quickly saying it was Raya before she started bouncing on her toes, her excitement for her friends wedding leaving her very energetic.

Vincent smiled softly to himself as he lifted his coffee cup to his lips, letting the scalding hot, caffeinated liquid hit his tongue. The slightly spicy taste from the soul residue just made the drink that much better, and the demon sighed contently. Not even the fact that he would have to wear his suit jacket later could deter him from his good mood, and if anyone asked, he wasn't really sure he could tell them why this was.

Sure, his friends were getting married, which was cause for celebration and happiness all by itself, but he had woken up well rested and happy. Maybe it was the fact that they had spent last night chatting and laughing like everything was at peace in the world, forgetting about the troubles of both the hunters and the threat of the war. He didn't know, but he felt more at ease today, than he had in months.

Absentmindedly, he started picking at his red dress shirt, the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, just as his normal work shirts usually was. It made for a more comfortable dressing, and the lint from the sleeves only got stuck in the upper parts of his wounds. The shirt itself wasn't anything fancy, and even though he had had plans for going out an purchasing a new set of 'fancy clothes', he just hadn't had the time to do so. Hopefully, the clothes from the witch's ball would suffice.

The demon looked up with a start as the door to the cafe flew open, his shocked expression melting into that of a smile as he saw the happy couple chase each other around the room. "Morning!" He chirped, waving at them from behind the bar, his crimson eyes filled with amusement. As he watched the young prince embrace his betrothed, he couldn't help but feel a little proud of fairy. He had come far from that arrogant, pompous bastard he had been when the demon had first met him, and the man standing in the cafe now was a far leap from the man that had pulled Akira's hair and yelled at her way back when. Vincent had no illusions as to who was responsible for that change.

He only hoped the prince would stay that way.

Vincent got pushed himself away from the bar counter, placing his mug of coffee down on the surface as he heard a knocking on the front door, followed by a shout of a name. With a grin he went to open it, shaking his head at the absurdity that he now found people knocking before entering the cafe more strange than when they didn't.

"Morning, Raya." He singsonged happily as he opened the door.

Ellie yawned, walking down the stairs already dressed in her dress, carrying the simple black heels she had coosen to go with the dress," Good morning," she yawned, looking around as if everything was new. Nodding to the couple she walked behind the bar begining to brew a pot of green tea.

"No...." Ellie yawned, rubbing her eyes gently. She actually had slept at all last, being kept awake with worried thoughts about Maria, although when she did drift off she was plauged witb nightmares of being visited by that white haired boy again. Under neath her eyes, were very prominate bags, proof of her restless nights.

Alexander looked at Ellie in sympathy "We still have time you could get a few hours of rest" Akira nodded agreeing with Alexander "We could always wake you up Ellie!" she spoke worry on her face

Ellie smiled kindly, at the couple," I'll be fine, I just need some tea to help keep me awake," she smiled, as the tea pot began to whistle, pulling it away as she began, mixing in her favorite green tea powder.

Once her tea was ready she poured it into a large mug, sipping it letting out a happy sigh," Much better," she smiled, taking another big sip.

Akira smiled at Ellie her face fell when she thought about the wedding though. Alexander frowned "Whats wrong Akira?" Akira sighed "The Wedding..You know the tradition. What if the tree doesn't approve?" Alexander's frown deepened "That'd pose a problem for us" Alexander's eyes softened "Even if the tree doesn't approve I'm still marrying you, We'll just have to..whats that word Humans use? Elope!" Akira giggled at that and hugged him "Our kingdoms would hunt us down and drag us back though." Alexander smirked "I hunted you down and I couldn't drag you back, I think We'll be fine" Akira giggled again at that "Yeah" her eyes softened a bright smile on her face

"Good morning, Dan!"

The ragged, beaten form stirred in its chains, sunken in eyes glancing up at the approach of the white haired boy, skipping towards him and swinging what looked like a bucket back and forth. The goblin was far beyond screaming now, tired out from a days worth of torture. A flash of fear shot through his chest, and his dark eye widened just a tad, as much as his exhausted mind would allow.

Quincy frowned, plopping down crosslegged on the dirty gravel in front of the goblin, tilting his head in mock disappointment, "What, no greeting? How rude..." He muttered, crossing his arms over his chest with a pout. Dan had really held out longer than he had initially thought, and if the nightmare was being honest with himself, he was kind of impressed. Of course, the poor sod wouldn't last very long after this, but it was still an impressive accomplishment.

Dan the goblin didn't say anything, and instead hung his head, making his greasy, long locks of dark matted hair fall forward, like a cascading waterfall of dirty shadows. Quincy tsked.

"Well, if you didn't want my personal attention, you shouldn't have thrown that pebble at me yesterday, now should you have, you naughty thing?"

Quincy reached up, running a finger over his pale cheek, from which an angry red, diagonal scrape was visible still in the dark, early hours of the morning. He had acquired this particular bruise last night, while speaking to the dark lady's soldiers, and the goblin now in front of him had thought it funny to interrupt the nightmare with a flying rock.

Cracked, bleeding lips opened, and the goblin Dan struggled to wheeze out a protest, "I... didn't..." He rasped, pleading ever so disgustingly faint, "Please... don't..."

The nightmares head tilted to the side even more, almost touching his thin shoulder, "Why, I don't quite know what to say to you, darling,"He purred as a grin began to etch it's way onto his face, stretching just a little to far, his teeth just a little to sharp,

"While I do find your continued resistance admirable, just confessing to the crime would make your end painless. Correct me if I'm wrong, love, but could it be that you actually like being tortured?" He giggled, reaching out to gingerly brush a few strands of greasy hair away from the goblins face, revealing a punctured eyeball hanging from his socket.

Dan the goblin shook his head violently, stuttering out protests to the best of his abilities while flinching away from the nightmares cold touch, "N-no, sir!" He wheezed, his blood splattered breath hitting Quincy in the face, making him laugh.

"I don't believe you," He informed him boredly, sticking his hand into his bucket before pulling out a fistful of something crawling, wriggling. The goblins remaining eye widened in fear and disgust, and he shuffled away closer to the wall at the sight of the small, black spiders now crawling and dangling by their webs all over the generals hand.

"Now open that lovely mouth for me and say 'ah', darling~."

Akira smiled at Ellie "A Tradition that used to be a requirement for all Fae but now is only a requirement for royalty. There is a great tree not far from the castle where our wedding will take place. If your future with your loved one is beneficial or good then the tree will Approve your marriage and give you a blessing. A leaf will fall the blessing on it. However if your marriage will be a failure if you are not right for eachother or your hearts evil then the Tree will disapprove you'll know by the shaking of the ground around the tree and the leaves going black. Royals cannot get married unless the Tree Approves. The tree can see past, present and future." @Elfia Nightwing

"Oh....Don't worry to much about it, I'm sure this tree will approve of your wedding," Ellie smiled encouragingly, pouring herself more tea.

Akira smiled slightly then frowned again. "I really think we should postpone the wedding until Shadae is caught" Alexander sighed "Do you not believe in our ability to protect you?!" Akira's eyes flickered to him "I don't want you to have to protect me! There shouldn't be a need to protect me on my wedding day!" she looked down at her hands wringing them nervously.

Jun tucked the last button into the sleeve as the burnished autumn leaf was fastened through the hole. He rolled his wrist reflexively and found the movement somewhat constricted by the cuff, and sighed. One day of looking nice wouldn't kill him, and although the shade preferred his loose fitting sweater above anything else, he only needed to remind himself of what day it was to forget his current discomfort. The slacks at least were comfortable.

Taking only a moment to find his hat, Jun popped it off the lamp post with a flick of his fingers, gave himself one more look over, and paused. The cut from yesterday was still there, a vivid line of color that scored along the height of his cheekbone like a sharply written signature. Had he been a few tints darker it would not have stood out so prominently, but Jun's coloring was far too light for the cause.

After a few failed attempts of patting down his hair to hide the scratch - the strands only proving frustratingly straight as they fell back beside his ear- Jun gave up, took up his hat, and left for the cafe. As he arrived he considered keeping a hand to his cheek as if to feign a tooth ache, but he hardly ate as is, and the chances of it not drawing attention were bleak. With that in mind, the pale haired boy took a breath and stepped inside, waving to those already present in the cafe.

Ellie smiled up at Jun when he walked into the cafe,"Jun! You look handsome," she smiled, sipping more of her tea. As she reached to refill it for the third time she noticed the pot was already empty, and she was still extremely tired. Great, she thought glumly.

Akira smiled when Jun walked in and waved at him walking up and giving him a quick hug "You look great Jun!" Alexander walked up and pulled Akira back a bit hugging her laying his head on hers watching Jun. Akira thought nothing of it continuing to speak to Jun "Did you sleep well?" @thistle (Alexander STILL sees Jun as a threat, jeez Alex xD he easily gets jealous too~)

Ellie's dour mood seemed out of place given her usual bright nature, and even from where he stood, the bruises stamped beneath both her eyes was visible from the distance. His agitation further fueled by Vahl's confession yesterday, Jun fought to keep the growing concern from his face as Akira scurried up to meet him. The fairy's entire self was suffused with excitement, practically glowing even though it was hours before the wedding.

"These purchases were made by your fiance," Jun said, giving credit to the man that stood behind her, "otherwise I would have appeared in my usual clothing." He looked away uncertainly, Alexander's stare too intense for his tastes, then held his eyes long enough to give a quick, "Thanks." Jun moved on to answer Akira's question, stepping off to the side so he was no longer under the scrutinizing gaze.

"I woke up later than intended but I slept well last night," he said, "It's just that yesterday," hesitation gripped him for only a moment, "was a little busy, so I wasn't able to visit. Will the others be coming soon?"

Akira smiled "I don't know when the others will be here. They better be here before we have to go otherwise they'll miss their ride" she twirled her key in her hand. "What were you busy with yesterday?" she tilted her head curiously. Alexander also had curiosity in his eyes but other than his eyes he didn't show it. @thistle

"I went to look for a brownie to see if he could fix my umbrella," Jun replied, thinking quickly. It was by luck he had had the foresight to retrieve it from the cabinet the night of Pop and Merle's capture, though mainly he had taken it back after Raya had stored an entire box of pizza in the fridge. Jun felt guilty that the cafe was slowly becoming a storehouse for personal belongings, "but many of them have been preoccupied since the hell hound's attack."
