Fantasy Magic Brew Cafè (CLOSED)

Shadae sighed "Such an annoyance. This doesn't involve you, you trash." she was unfazed. She turned her gaze back down onto Akira who was trying to stand "Do you see what you made me do child? You made me hurt you, why'd you have to go and do that?" she snarled "You're so disobedient and disrespectful. it must be because you were only raised by that pathetic excuse of a king. If only he hadn't banished me then I could of raised you properly and you could have been so much stronger so much better. Its not too late to fix, if you just came with me I could fix you, I could fix everything. We could be a family we'd rule together" She turned back to Vincent "I do wonder why you'd protect her now, you had no problems with letting her run off before." she smirked at the surprised look on Akira's face "You wonder how I know about that? Because even if I'm not around one of my people always are, you didn't think I'd let my own child roam unprotected unsupervised did you?" Akira glared "You are not my mother" she growled out finally managing to stand. "Why can't you just leave us alone?"

Shadae smiled "Because I want whats rightfully mine, my daughter and my throne. I'm never letting you go. I love you too much to let you go you're my child." the way she said love sent shivers of fear down Akira's spine, it sounded cold, sinister, empty.

Raya, being a protector had stiffened when this lady walked in, adorning dark clothes and throwing words at Akira like they were daggers. She had grabbed hold of the door so she didn't lash out, taking in the scene infront of her, noting the ladies sneers and Akira's reactions. She frowned as she saw her eyes cast light on the floor, blinking a bit so the light dimmed itself.

Going against her decision to stand her ground, she walked over, taking up a place beside Akira. She didn't bat an eye as Vincent transformed, and heard what he said. She grimaced at the women's response then grabbed Akira and had her at the back of the room in a second, her eyes now sending off a pretty blinding ray of green light, "Who the hell is that?" She spat, her bubbly personality just up and gone.

Akira's eyes widened in surprise when she was grabbed and now in the backroom "The one who created me, You weren't here when we all found out so you wouldn't know. My mother couldn't have children so my father and her turned to fairies who practiced dark magic, After Shadae and her followers made me My father banished them all to the dark forest. My mother fell ill after giving birth to me because I was made from dark magic. I'm neither good or bad, light or dark. But I can be swayed to either depending on my companions the people who surround me. Shadae is the same one who on my birthday awhile back, my 17th birthday murdered my father and tried to get me to leave with her. Alexander and Luke got me out, she almost killed Luke however." her fists clenched as she finished speaking.

Shadae scowled when Akira had been grabbed and pulled away "Who the hell does that brat think she is taking my daughter when I was talking to her?!"

She glared the direction Akira was taken "She needs to be taken from this dump filled with trash soon."

With his ties to the underworld now clouding his normally rational mind, the demon in him demanding he rid his territory of this threat was once, Vincent did the only thing he could.

The dark fairy crashed into the wall, and while Vincent couldn't ell weather it was the wooden panels behind her, or the very bones of the woman herself that let out the ringing, sickening cracks that now penetrated the silent air around them like a knife through butter, he didn't much care.

"I do wonder," He murmured mockingly, spitefully, his darkened eyes drilling into her as his claw like hands wrapped themselves around her elegant neck, coating the womans pale skin in layers of his own warm, red blood, "Why you now display an expression of terror, when you had no problems arrogantly claiming yourself grander than a pureblooded demon."

The left corners of his lips tilted up into a cold smirk, his grip tightening around the dark fairy's neck, cutting off her oxygen supply. And while Vincent would never admit to it, it felt bloody brilliant. To feel her pulse beating quickly beneath the palm of his hand, to know that if he adjusted his grip just a little bit, that steady throbbing could be snuffed out as easily as a candle in the wind.

"You have no authority here, fairy," He murmured, slamming her into the wall, "No authority what so ever."

The demon tilted his head to the side, his horns nearly hitting her across her hooded face, before he dragged her to the front door, opening it, and tossing her out into the night like an unwanted moth.

(you never answered me. So I'll just post regardless.)

Shadae's eyes widened in surprise her mind unable to keep up with what was happening she felt so much pain then she was tossed out the door. Her mind finally caught up "F***ing demon" she stood up sickening cracks echoing as her bones fixed themselves "Now that is what is great about dark magic" she smirked "though I know I'll still feel the pain, atleast I don't have a bunch of broken bones" she sighed "Looks like my precious child will not listen to me today. I'll leave them to you" she spoke to the air before dissapearing. Three hooded fairies stepped out from behind buildings and rushed forward swords in their hands they burst through the windows of the cafe and immediately attacked Vincent trying to lop his head off or stab his heart.

@Cryobionic

"Wow." She said when Akira finished her explaining. She heard the women howl something and she yelled back, "The smart kind of brat, Bitch!" She yelled her voice indicating she'd be more then delighted to melt the ladies pretty face straight off her bones, "Akira, do you want me to help burn the bitch or do you want me to stay here?" She asked. At the moment she would happily do the first.

She flinched at the sound of crashing glass, "Shit." She muttered looking out the door to see what was happening and internally screamed at what she saw, frustration making her hiss like a caged cat.

One of the hooded figures split from the other two leaving the two to deal with Vincent and headed straight for Raya sword at the ready to cut her down.

Akira turned small and got infront of Raya going back to her normal size forming a sword and blocking the attack against Raya.

"Cowardly B*tch sending her followers instead of staying herself." she hissed.

Behind the glass window the tiny figurines continued to dance about the mirror stage, stripe clad bodies and permanent etched smiles drifting around the miniature tent. Jun stood captivated, watching from the outside as their companions peeked around the opposite end, cart wheeling and pirouetting into view as they continued the endless dance.

For a while now Jun had lingered there, not quite knowing how much time had passed.

It wasn’t so much the porcelain figures that pulled his attention to the display case, nor was it the clever design of the orchestrina itself, but rather the tune emanating from the cleverly concealed cylinder just beneath the stage.

When he first became aware of the crystal melody, only the sounds of welcome and festivity had been audible, the themes stitched so deeply within the song it felt like a personal invitation to join the colorful characters twirling below.

But as he listened closer there was something else hidden behind the jubilant affair.

Discordance.

It was hardly noticeable to those turning an idle ear in passing, but Jun was not idle nor was he passing, and it was for this very reason he had remained where he was.

The notes tumbled out from the tiny player in a drunken stupor, as though the player inside had been poorly wound, or the artist responsible for its craft had etched the metal nobs a bit off kilter from their original position.

Overall the harmony reminded him of a poorly fit puzzle, in which the pieces had been forced to fit against one another despite their mismatched shapes, in order to create a picture.

Hardly a mistake, given the fact that the orchestrina stood in the very center of the display case and was thus intended to catch the passerby’s eyes, but why give it precedence if it contained such an odd sound?

More importantly why did he feel such close acquaintance with the melody when it was his first time hearing this music?

Sedated by the hollow emptiness that came back in answer, Jun practically took no notice of the finger that rested at the base of his neck and traced upward into his hairline. In an automatic movement Jun cringed slightly, rolling his head backwards, and in doing so looked straight up to meet Vahl’s eyes.

Ellie who had watched the entire scene with wide eyes, flinched back to life when she saw the fairies start to attack her friends. What do I do?! She thought franticly looking for something to use as a weapon. Her eyes finally landing on a bottle of witch wine that her grandmother had given the cafe. Ellie swallowed hard, looking up when she heard Someone exclaim, gripping the bottle heard. " Vinny get down!" She yelled, flinging the bottle at one of the fairies attacking Vinny, causing it to shatter into a million pieces when it connected with his head.

The one Ellie hit with the bottle stumbled and then turned to her rushing towards her intent on killing her. Akira moved quick having already knocked out her opponent she blocked the attack on Ellie. she turned her head slightly to Ellie "I'm really sorry you guys got caught up in all of this" @Elfia Nightwing

Cast onto his toes and tilted slightly over, the wisp exchanged the gasp of surprise with a wry, self indulgent smile as Jun, petrified by the sheer proximity, jerked away from him, nearly backing into the glass window. At the same time Vahl, unfazed, shrugged a hand into a spare pocket and regarded the boy coolly.

It still felt as if his touch continued to ghost along his skin, and Jun raised a hand to the back of his neck, rubbing nervously at the feeling. “What are you doing here?” he asked.

In return the wisp rolled his head to one side. The slow fluttering of lashes that followed was an unmistakable act of patronize as his lips tipped upward, finding obvious humor in the question. “I’m only here to check up on you.”

Jun stiffened instantaneously, a conditioned response. By now the wisp’s presence caused nothing but restless unease, if not well bred panic, for the shade.

But as he waited rigid against the glass wall, anticipating an attack, Vahl kept to where he was. They remained that way for an immeasurable amount of time, Jun's position starting to draw curious gazes from the public. He settled just a fraction as unease melted into slow puzzlement, and as the look of question began to surface, Vahl finally replied. “You fear me because of past encounters, correct?” The assumption was stated with blasé indifference. “More specifically, how I’ve treated you, is that it? As I said, I’m only here to note your condition.”

Vahl’s response was all too casual for his liking, and Jun realized with a start that it was this characteristic in particular that caused the senseless unease. The wisp was unpredictable, his motives completely private. At no point in time could Jun ever remember being able to read the man’s thoughts as he continued to whisk in and out of Jun’s life.

Though he did not necessarily trust Vahl, Jun decided to take advantage of the man's willingness to speak. “The café,” he began hesitantly, “why were you there? And why was Ellie with you?”

Vahl shrugged, a simple roll of his shoulders. “She was in need of help and we happened to cross paths. Did you not notice the injured ankle?” A loose fringe caught his attention, and obviously displeased by the discovery, he snapped it off with a sudden sharp gesture. “Has it healed at all? Also,” he added briefly, casting the string from long fingers, “she’s a lovely thing to kiss.”

The wisp’s satisfied grin was lost on the shade as Jun started in shock. “You - You kissed her?”

“Or possibly she me,” Vahl offered suggestively, lowering the lid of one eye in the semblance of a wink. "Though I wasn't supposed to share that with anyone, now was I?"

The air stirred into an unexpected gust then, and when Jun reopened his eyes, the wisp was before him, less than an arms length away, one hand outstretched and nearly touching his cheek.

“Tell her, and I will pursue Ellie with greater intention,” Vahl said with a beguiling smile, "and possibly return her in irreparable fashion." In a motion too fast for the naked eye, Vahl’s hand struck at Jun, blurring. There was a slight pressure against his cheek that made him wince, and then something wet was trailing down his skin as Vahl withdrew.. “Do you wish for that?”

Although it burned, Jun refused to touch a hand to his bleeding face, somehow knowing it would bring the wisp great pleasure, and recoiled from him instead. When the man made no move to follow Jun turned heel and retreated from the area with quick legged strides.

Vahl watched until the shade disappeared from sight before giving his nails a cursory inspection. Absently, he glanced at where the boy had been standing earlier, quirking an eyebrow at the set of music boxes and the odd sounds which drifted from them, before vanishing.

Ellie let out a small squeak, ducking when the fairy man, lounged at her, rolling away from his attack, "It's not you're fault Akira, it's that Shadae woman!" she exclaimed.

What the fuck! Can't a depressed guy get some peace for once.... He sighed as he stood up and turned to the fairies who were attacking. He noticed demon Vincent but didn't care, all he wanted was to kill the noise. He thought about using his gun but decided it to be too loud so the next best thing is to transformed. The shadows merged with Zero to bring out his true form, he turned to the fairy attacking Akira and Ellie and grabbed his head with his right clawed hand. He raised it in the air and promptly began to squeeze his head until he heard a familiar cracking sound and even when he did it he kept squeezing until he knew the fairy had died and promptly dropped the corpse onto the ground and went in to help Vincent.

Akira cringed at Zero's actions but was grateful for it. When the fairy with the crushed skull hit the ground it burst into a bunch of butterflies and swirled around the knocked out fairy teleporting it out of there. All that was left was the one attacking Vincent.

Vincent looked around, blinking lazily at the fairy now positioned to attack him, shaking his head exasperated, "That's not how you hold a sword," He told him sternly, his demonic features pulling themselves into a frown. The dark fairy proceeded to flail his weapon around his head like a baby with a rattle, and Vincent had to resist the urge to laugh at the poor man.

Deciding to instead put him out of his misery, he shot his claw-like hand forward, the appendage wrapping itself around the mans throat, which was made easier by the fact that the dark fairy had been preoccupied with proving just how much he could swing his weapon. The sword fell to the ground with a dull thud, and the fairy began gasping for air, clawing at his hand in a desperate attempt of getting the demon to let go.

Vincent did, he slammed the man into the floor, effectively knocking him out just as his form began shrinking, snapping and shifting beneath his skin once more, until the terrifying demonic creature was gone, replaced by the bleeding, blue haired bartender.

"Vinny!" Ellie squeaked, jumping over the bar in a impressive feet of athletic prowl she normally didn't possess. Ellie stopped when she reached Vinny, standing in front of him, her eyes looking every visible part of his body to make sure he was ok," Are you ok? You aren't hurt anywhere right?" she asked as her blue eyes reflected all of the worry and fear in her eyes.

Vincent stared at Ellie, tilting his head to the side, "Nowhere one wouldn't expect." He deadpanned, holding up his now bleeding arms. The stitches had been absolutely demolished the second he's transformed, the skin around the ripped apart as he shifted larger. "I bought some spell thread a while back, fortunately." He smiled, poking the unconscious fairy with the tip of his shoe, " I don't think it'll work on him, though. Do we have duct tape?"

Akira smiled "Not that I know of but I got a solution" She used her magic to wrap the guy in crystals him now hovering in the air unable to move. "Tadah, Problem solved!" she looked to the broken window and walked up forming crystals in the huge gap and it slowly turned into new glass. She looked down at the floor "I really am sorry you guys. If I wasn't here that wouldn't have happened...." @Cryobionic @Elfia Nightwing @DestinyRed @Archdemon

"Stop, just stop blaming your self for every bad that happens,"Ellie frown, walking over to Akira gripping her hands tightly, " It doesn't matter who attracted who, or what that Shadae wanted, all that matters is we stick together and try and find a way to defeat her," Ellie murmured, her eyes shining with intensity.

As soon as Akira looked into Ellie's eyes as soon as she felt the warmth of Ellies hands tears sprung to her eyes. She wrapped her arms around Ellie whimpering and crying "I was so scared. As soon as Alex left I was scared and then she came. I was terrified." she sniffled clinging to Ellie not letting go as she cried "I'm scared."

@Elfia Nightwing (Ellie is such a good friend T_T hug me Ellie!)

Ellie smiled hugging Akira back, "I know, I'm sorry I could be there for you," she murmured softly, letting the girl cry into her shoulder.

Zero transformed back and sat down again as he began drinking the bottle again. Zero looked at Akira "I can inform the police about her you know, Say the word and we'll search every damn rock for her." He turned to the bottle again and tried to drink it but when no liquid came down he sighed putting the bottle down "Hand me another please." He said directing the sentence at Vincent.

((I'm gonna go and make a new character!))

@Cryobionic

Akira kept crying "..if she gets a hold of me she'll turn me into a monster, I don't want to become a monster" she sniffled "I have a hard time sleeping anymore unless its by Alex's side. Everytime I close my eyes I see what she did to my father over and over again. Every single sound scares me whether its the tree brushing up against the window or a servant walking in the corridor."

Akira heard what Zero said and shook her head her face buried in Ellie's shoulder "No, she'll just kill them all or worse kidnap and corrupt them. Then you'd have to fight against friends."

@Elfia Nightwing @Archdemon

"Yeah, sure," The demon replied distractedly, not really catching the detectives request, as he was too occupied with spinning the now floating dark fairy around in the air, watching as the light from the over head lamps reflected off of the crystals like a demented sort of disco ball, "If you could question this guy," He murmured, turning to face Zero, "That would be much appreciated."

Ellie hugged Akira tighter,"Do you want me to call Alexander for you?" she murmured softly, knowing his presence would at least help calm down the hysterical girl.
