Fantasy Magic Brew Cafè (CLOSED)

Akira smiled "I was thinking we could go today, We just have to wait for Ellie to come back and wait for Estelle to get to the Cafe and the four of us can go. Oh I'm so excited!" @DestinyRed

As he felt Ellie softened against him, her breath caressing the back of his neck, it made the sight before him somewhat tolerable as Vahl noticed a decent sized crowd up ahead. Based on the flashing myriad of lights it seemed as if an accident had occurred, and like moths to a flame, those passing by had gathered as close to the yellow tape as possible.

Effectively, it blocked Vahl's path much to his annoyance. Although he wasn't opposed to carrying Noire's daughter, thinking it an irony that he had once done the same for the white haired witch long ago, he hadn't pictured himself being occupied with the girl for the rest of the day. There was a detour off to the side where a police officer was currently signaling for the crowd to continue moving but half of them weren't even paying attention.

It was too slow and Vahl, spotting a nearby bench, crossed over and set Ellie gently on top of it, pretending to think of a solution. "The cafe, I believe, is just another block down but it'll take a bit of time with this crowd. Plus," he added, glancing down at her injured ankle, now visibly swollen "people are likely to bump into us along the way. I have a suggestion, a more convenient route, if you promise not to tell on me."

@Elfia Nightwing

At Oliver's suggestion Jun was about to push himself from the seat and retrieve the cup of water, more for the sake of putting distance between himself and Oliver, but was halted immediately by Raya. Listening, he didn't quite know how to feel after what had happened, but it did make him realize how silly he was acting.

Maybe there was some way to fix this. An apology...A gift of some sort. His lips formed a slight 'o' then as Jun recalled his errand with Raya a few days ago and exited down the hall. When he returned he held out the brown paper bag to Oliver, now spotting his somewhat bedraggled appearance. "This seems like an appropriate time to give this to you, Oliver," he said, holding it out further, "Raya helped me find it earlier. Hopefully it's to your liking."

There were still some hints of color in his face and his fingers trembled in the slightest, but Jun was more concerned with Oliver's reaction to the hoodie than anything.

Being suddenly dragged off the stool, the imp was sent stumbling after the now... pink haired girl? Oliver's eyes widened a little, having just noticed her sudden color change, and briefly he wondered what had caused that, before listening to what said girl had to say. He glanced up at her, tilting his head to the side confusedly, and was just about to say something when Jun suddenly left, and the imp watched him leave, even more confused than before.

As the shade re-entered the cafe, Oliver could do nothing but to stare curiously at the brown paper bag now held out to him, "What?" He murmured, taking the bag, the roughness of the paper scraping against his palms. With a confused frown, he looked inside, his confusion turning to that of surprised realization as he suddenly recognized what it contained. Oliver's head popped up and he stared at Jun for a full five seconds, before looking down again, "I can't believe you actually did this," He whispered, stunned, his attempted sarcastic remark failing as reached down to grab the colorful article of clothing, dragging it out of the bag fully.

It was glorious, the imp thought, as he studied it. Covered in every color of the rainbow, complete with a couple of fake horns adorning the hood. Oliver grinned excitedly before suddenly turning around, grabbing the back of his ruined, boring hoodie before pulling it off over his head, unintentionally exposing his ruined, scarred and welted back to anyone who cared to look. However the imp didn't really care at this point, he just wanted the hoodie on, now.

As the soft fabric slipped over his head and he got it on fully, he looked town at his now rainbow-clad self, twirling around grinning from ear to ear, before tackling the startled shade in a tight hug, "Thank you!" He exclaimed, his tail waving from side to side behind him like an over excited puppy, "It's really, really cool!"

On the night they had spoken in subdued conversation Oliver had mentioned briefly of his own abused past, but seeing the wealth of scars and unhealed wounds scattered against his flesh was an entirely different sight as the imp swiveled away from them briefly and undressed. Disbelief and shock crossed the shade's face briefly, appalled by the truth the countless wounds revealed.

He just barely managed to remember himself as Oliver circled back around to face them. A myriad of expressions flew across his face as concern was quickly replaced with relief, then blatant surprise as the imp flung himself around Jun. After hesitating only a moment, his fell into a slight smile and he gave Oliver's head a quick, reassuring pat. "I'm glad you like it. Raya helped me find it from her uncle's store." Thinking his response a little lacking, Jun ruffled the imp's hair, then realizing its disarray, smoothed it back down, unthinking. "I'll make sure not to destroy this one like last time."

Oliver stepped back and flipped the hood over his head, the colorful fabric falling over his eyes much to the imps amazement. With a giggle, he hugged his arms around himself and began swaying slightly from side to side with joy, "It's sooo cool, man!" He exclaimed once more, reaching up to feel the plushie horns, snorting as he could feel his own real ones poking through before turning to the pink haired Raya, his eyes glowing yellow through the shadows cast by the hood, "Thank you!" He grinned, feeling a need to just thank everyone involved with getting him this fabulous sweater.

Turning back to Jun, he addressed his last comment, his tail snapping playfully against the floor, "You'd better not! I won't ever forgive you if you do." He laughed.

"Sure, I wont tell, but what route is this? I thought I knew every route to and from the cafe," she said softly, scrunching up her face a bit in confusion.

Seeing that they had bypassed most of the awkwardness, the shade gave an agreeable grin, both hands held up before him. "I promise," he swore, chuckling, then glanced over at Raya, still slightly distracted by the bubble gum colored hair. The butterfly remained perched on her outstretched finger, flexing its glimmering wings every now and then as if to signal its impatience.

"You mentioned something about your relatives earlier," he said in her direction, trying to recall her words, "Did something happen to them?" @DestinyRed

"Um... I wokeup slumped on a chair with a busted lip if you didn't already notice," she said then, pulled her lip down a bit to show a clotted cut, "Oh and this." She moved her hair to expose a nice bruise on her cheek bone, "Speaking of which Akira, do you have some concealer?" She asked then looked back to Jun, "Anyways they where gone and I panicked then ran here. I got a text from Merle saying there okay but they didn't tell me where they were so I still want to check up on them." She explained, "What I don't get is why I'm hurt. If someone broke in I would have protected Pops and Merle so I would have had the power to protect myself." She said with a frown, "I would have to be knocked out before Pops and Merle came down. But if I was knocked out my aunt would have heard and called the police. The only plausible explanation I can think of is someone stronger then me came in." She said then winced as her hand hit her cheek.

"You can call it a short cut," Vahl offered, and as a passing gust whipped up their hair, he bent over at the waist til their faces were at the same level, "though you might feel a little dizzy afterwards." As if the thought bothered him, he slipped a hand beneath her bangs and over Ellie's dark lashed eyes. With the smallest of pressures, he tilted up her head and before she could say anything lowered his mouth to her own.

Honing in on the cafe's location, Vahl drew on his power at the same time and pulled them toward the building in a blinding rush. The next instant they were outside the familiar alleyway, and the wisp pulled away in dark delight. She tasted much sweeter than her mother. "We made it," he murmured while removing his hand.

Akira smiled opening her purse handing Raya a stick of concealer Alexander raised an eyebrow "And why do you have that Little bird?"

Akira laughed nervously "Ah..well you see.." Alexander's eyebrow seemed to raise higher he walked up to her looking carefully and then reached rubbing makeup off her cheek to expose a bruise "Akira" his voice held warning. She sighed "I kind of suck..at horse riding" Alexander's lips quirked into a smile. "I see, I guess I'll have to teach you someday hm?" he leaned in and kissed the bruise "Seriously though don't hide any injuries from me no matter how minor." Akira rolled her eyes "your protectiveness is exactly WHY I hide them. Seriously sometimes you can be too much." Alexander chuckled at that and kissed her nose "But you love me for it, its part of my charm" Akira rolled her eyes and giggled hugging him "Yeah suuure." @DestinyRed

Ellie let out a small squeak of protest when she felt Vahl's lips touch her own, to dumbstruck to notice that they were back in the alley, "W-wh-w-why did you do that?.." she whimpered softly, avoiding the wisp's intense eyes. "I-I-I have a boyfriend you know....One who I love very, very much," she murmured, wringing her hands as she grew more and more flustered.

It was dark, and cold and very, very dreary. The wind was blowing gently, but to the many people standing huddled together in the large group outside the impressive looking manor, the wind could have just as well have been made of razors. That notion, though, could have been intensified by the reason they were all here, the master they had all wished to serve or maybe, just maybe it had something to do with the small, thin, grinning, pale person now staring each and everyone of them down from atop a stray barrel tossed carelessly to the side by the wall of the mansion.

To the many creatures staring at him, he didn't seem like much. They could not understand what this whelp of a kid thought it was doing, grinning down on them like that, but there was something in it's amused red eyes, something utterly and spine-chillingly demented that made the smarter of the group hesitate to question it's presence.

Not all were that smart, however, and after a while of hushed silence, a very large, muscly Minotaur stepped forward, steam blowing out of his nose, making the ring hanging from there jingle. The creature atop the barrel's grin cracked just a little further up, and it's eyes flashed dangerously.

"Who're you?" The Minotaur rumbled, pointing an accusatory finger at the creature, "Avert your freaky lookin' eyes, whelp!" He threatened, his chest growling dangerously.

The white haired creature tilted it's head to the side, it's eyes never leaving the Minotaur. "Who am I?" He purred, for with that voice, no matter how feminine it may have sounded, could have only belonged to a male, "Why... I am your new general, darling~"

The Minotaur snorted, as of the very notion that he and his peers be ordered around by something that didn't even reach his chest was absolutely ridiculous. Which, in all reality it was, because the Minotaur didn't know the creature.

"My name," He continued, ignoring the Minotaur disrespectful sounds, "Is Quincy. You will address me as 'Sir' or 'Ma'am' depending on your... preference~" The creature purred wriggling his fingers in the general direction of the crowd, licking his lips, "If you do not... Why, I'm afraid I'll have no other choice than to-"

His sentence was interrupted by the guaffing laughter of the Minotaur, and Quincy's lips tilted upward, his slender, stocking clad legs bending ever so slightly as he pounced on the big creature. It was an elegant movement, and the rest of the group hardly had time to react before the 'general' was upon their friend. The Minotaur fell to the ground with a thump, this Quincy now perched on his chest with a predatory grin, his magic reaching out through his bare feet, binding the man to the ground.

"My, my, my... we do have some fears, don't we~" He murmured happily, running a hand over the mans bull like face. The gesture was almost bordering on loving, and it would had been mistaken for so, had the white haired boy not thrust his long, slender fingers into the mans eye-socket, ripping out the black orb, sending a sickening snapping sound ringing out through the now deadly silent group.

Quincy held the eye up, examining it closely. "I've never been one for beef," He murmured, wondering briefly what kinds of horror this eye had witnessed. The minotaur was squirming beneath him, howling in pain, but for some reason, he wasn't able to move, "So I'm afraid you'll have to enjoy this one without me, love."

With that, Quincy shoved the eye into the Minotaurs mouth, forcing the creature to chew, his eyes glinting in amusement before he got off, leaving the man a sobbing wreck. The white haired nightmare jumped back onto the barrel, licking his fingers as he looked upon the crowd. "Now..." He purred, winking at them, "Is there anyone else who wishes to interrupt poor, little me?"

Nobody answered, and the nightmare grinned.

The sight of her lip sent Jun behind the counter to retrieve a few ice chips from the bin, blanketing them in a napkin. When he handed it to her, Jun gave an odd frown. It was obvious something wasn't adding up "We should go. Oliver?" Jun glanced over to find the imp still fascinated by the hoodie, arms extended and twisting them back and forth to get the shimmery effect. "Akira, Alexander?" The fairy couple was currently in playful conversation with one another, and Jun let out a large huff. "Well, I can go at least," he exhaled, giving a small shrug.

"Ah, you've mentioned that before haven't you?" The wisp straightened, genuinely entertained by her reaction, "But it worked, didn't it? You aren't dizzy now. People tend to complain about the after effects of my magic." He allowed most of her weight to fall on his shoulder as he helped her to a stand and start towards the entrance way, Ellie now slung against him as she hobbled by the side.

Ellie blinked slowly, holding her head gingerly, "I...I don't think so..." she murmured softly, , trying to focus on not tripping on her own feet as they walked into the cafe, the ground beginning to move a bit. "I think I'm a little dizzy," she murmured softly, dropping to her knees when they got a few more feet inside. "I.....My head," she whined softly.

Serathi, stepped out out her manor to examine the newest member of her army, her eyes narrowing at the scene she found, her general Quincy standing on top of a minotaur, who was sniveling in fear and missing a eye. "I hope you don't plan on doing the same thing to rest of my army," she said calmly, her voice reaching everyone over the loud wind. The soldiers snapped down to one knee, like knights addressing their king. She ignored them, walking up besides Quincy, her red eyes glancing up to meet his, "So, how are they so far?" she asked calmly her gaze dropping to the Minotaur,"I see you've already put the more....wild ones, in their place," she murmured softly.

Raya applied the concealer then handed it back and smiled, taking the ice and lightly placing it on her cheek, "Thanks Jun, I guess we could follow the butterfly in twenty." She said quirking her brow when she realized what she said, "Well I never thought I'd say that..." she said quietly then saw Ellie on her knees and her eyes sparked as she was in front of the girl so fast that she could've teleported, "Are you okay?" She asked, holding her hand out then touching Ellie's head taking away the dizzy spell, "What happened to you?" She asked then looked at her ankle, "I"d heal that but I don't know how..." she said quietly then looked back to the witch, "Do you want me to get Vincent?"

Ellie nodded, placing her head in her lap, as she curled in on herself resembling a hedgehog trying to protect it's self, "Yeah...If you don't mind..." she whimpered softly.

"He'll live." Quincy giggled, dancing off the minotaurs chest and up to the red eyed demoness with a grin, before shrugging his shoulders noncommittally, wiping the rest of the mans eye juices off on his shorts, "He'll have some severe, traumatic, delicious dreams. But he'll live." He purred, his left eye twitching ever so slightly as a look of pure excitement flashed over them. "They are all what you'd expect," He huffed, his face falling in disappointment, "Spiders," He murmured, pointing at a banshee, "Heights," His slender, blood covered finger now directed to the werewolf standing next to it, "Oh... dark alleyways. That's an interesting one." He suddenly giggled madly, raising an eyebrow at a particularly large ogre, it's grey belly hanging over it's trouser, before turning back to Serathi, his face once again falling. "You promised me gore and bloodshed. You promised me an army without fear, but these brutes are so fearful of their own shadows, I can taste it." He whined, smacking his lips, "Plus, they're unhygienic."

The young faced nightmare jumped up to the barrel once more, crossing his stocking clad legs under him as he leaned forwards, placing his cheeks in his hands, staring at her, "But I suppose that what I'm here to fix, is it not? I'll give them something to fear, something so horrible death will be... a reprieve." After he had said that, he straightened and jumped to his feet, looking over the soldiers, tutting, "How are those hunters of yours, darling, still cowering at your feet?"

.......................

Oliver walked up to the fallen witch, looking down at her worried, "What happened?" He questioned, frowning in concern before looking up at the stranger who has brought her. Only... not a stranger, he recognized his scent at once, but he couldn't place it, and the more he thought about it, the less he liked it. He sent the man a glare, pulling Ellie's arm to get her away from him, "Who are you?" He asked suspiciously, his attempted threatening tone ruined by his new hoodie.

Akira rushed over to Ellie gently picking her up careful not to jostle her ankle, she walked Ellie over to one of the chairs sitting her down in it propping her ankle up on another one. She rushed to the kitchen grabbing a bag of ice running back and putting it on her Ankle "Are you okay Ellie? What happened?" she shot a slight glare Vahl's way "Did you do this to her?" @Elfia Nightwing @thistle

Vahl remained where he as a girl swept forward without waiting to be told, whisking off the next instant, followed by a child. Vahl peered closer and saw horns protruding from the boy's skull, registering his nature.

"Do you usually greet people with such an expression?" he asked pleasantly, allowing Ellie to slip from him without protest, "Mind her ankle, unless you'd like to sprain it further." He smiled, and though it was a casual response, something dark sparked across the wisp's eyes. A sound a little ways before him compelled him to look up as he spotted Jun, who stood rigid at the table. His eyes were so dilated he could nearly see the white's around them. Vahl waved at him, fingers rolling smoothly over one another.

Serathi smiled coldly at Quincy, "What do you think?" she purred, looking back a jump maid, who was spooked by her own shadow from time to time."True...they aren't the greatest army I've ever seen, but that's why I called you, if anyone can turn these sniveling whelps in a true army it's you," she smiled, turning to face the soldiers, who flinched when her gaze landed on them,"And they all know what will happen if they disappoint me," she smiled cruelly.

Ellie pouted slightly at everyone's over protectiveness, holding the ice Akira had given her to her ankle,"Everyone stop! Vahl helped me back to the cafe, he's a good person!" she said, glaring slightly at everyone.

Raya, with in seconds had dragged Vincent over to Ellie doing so in such unearthly speed it probably left Vincent thinking he was still standing at the bar, then she looked over at Jun who appeared as a statue looking at a bulldozer, "Junny Bunny? You look like you just saw a ghost." She said, hoping the nickname would help him snap out of it. But that was when she noticed a man waving, and her heart skipped a few beats. Not in a good way. Her eyes suddenly flared much brighter then they usually did, leaving a green light spraying her face, "Who are you?" She asked , tiny vines suddenly twirling around her finger as she took a small step forward.

Akira's glare at Vahl turned into a smile she walked up to him and she bowed to him "Thank you very much then for helping our Ellie. I'm sorry for my earlier behavior I swear Alexander has rubbed off on me" Alexander's face lit up with pride and Akira raised an eyebrow at him "Thats not a good thing Idiot!" she called to Alexander before turning back to Vahl "Its a pleasure to meet you" she clasped her hands around his happily smiling brightly "Do you know what happened though?" she tilted her head slightly in question looking Vahl in the eyes @thistle (Akira will befriend mr. hot bad guy :P Mwuahhaha)

Behind Ellie. Vahl gave a helpless shrug, though looked completely content beside himself. "I happened to run into Ellie along the way," he said to those inside the room. "Just passing through to meet up with my cousin." Wine red eyes rested briefly, purposefully, on the shade for a moment before he found himself being addressed once more, this time from the same girl, looking lovely in all her anger.

"Such hostility from you," he tsked, shaking his head. "I don't understand."

Mildly caught off guard by the introduction made from the fairy, he gave her hand a reasonable grasp. "She happened to twist her ankle earlier. It should probably be elevated before the swelling increases."
