Fantasy Magic Brew Cafè (CLOSED)

Indecision and hesitation had caused the shade to react too late, watching as the events played out before him, and he berated himself quietly for the slow response before approaching the pair, and the girl who still remained in the corner.
"Is that the response you've been telling me about?" he asked Raya with a rueful smile before addressing the cat from earlier. "Thanks for that. I...I don't know what might have happened if you hadn't jumped in."

Then he stared at the girl, completely stunned as the signal radiated from her. "You're... You're a shade, aren't you?"
Lila looked up to see young man, he looked to be about the same age as her. She looked back down at her hands, and smiled a bit. Quietly she said, "Yes...."

@thistle
Sasha sighs. " I guess. Can I get a black coffee?"
Axton nodded. He got the coffee and gave it to him. "Is there something wrong?"

His senses fired again as Jun sensed another shade walk in but was unable to spot the individual as Axton came into view, customarily taking the patron's order.

Right now his thoughts were preoccupied with the one he still gripped by the elbow. Too many questions flew through his head at once, feeling as if someone had taken his head and given it a good shaking, and he stared down at her, completely speechless. It had been far too long since he had run across another of his kind, and he squeezed her arm tightly in an unconscious feat.

@Scattered Ambitions

Shivering a bit as he gripped her arm tighter, she looked up at him. "A-are you a, um, shade too? I heard one was here, so I came looking." She blushed again, not knowing why she revealed the last part.

@thistle

Eric looked at her. "Sorry if this sounds weird but. Can I bite you?" He took a step closer. "I'm a vampire and I haven't had blood in so long I'm starving. Bitter things help but it's so hard." @Scattered Ambitions

Raya smirked, jumping to her feet after the wolf left. She bowed when Jun commented on her response to the situation as if showing off. She wasn't acting like herself at the moment, which was the usual protocal when she was with her power. Her eyes suddenly snapped back to there usual green and stopped there glowing, she took in a sharp breath as she stumbled backwards landing on her butt, feeling her power being ripped away.

If she reacted strongly when she had her power, it was painful when it was ripped away but she was used to it, quickly jumping to her feet and stealthily covering her wobbles. She took a moment to recall what just happened, then smiled at the cat as if to say thanks.

Lulu struggled out of her mothers arms, wanting to get some fresh air. She ran out into the alleyway, and took a deep breath.

Stepping back, Eli shook her head. "Um, sorry, but no. Anyway, there's a.....I think a human girl down there. Why don't you bite her?"

@Tazmodo

The cafe had suddenly seemed to come alive, blustering around them with animation, and unable to concentrate above the din, Jun tugged the girl from the main part of the cafe and into the shadowed hallways, both of them reappearing clearly in sight. He took in her features, noting the umbrella she had still managed to clutch in one hand, and almost felt the confirmation settle over his shoulders.

He released her then, knowing he should apologize, but was too stunned to form the words. Instead he asked, "Who are you and why - why have you been looking for me?"

@Scattered Ambitions

The poor cat began to watch as yet another woman had been taken from under his nose. He continues to play his harp. " They deserve each other " he thought " They're already making goo goo eyes... " He played his harp softly and sadly as he felt as he was about to give up on love entirely......No...He must keep playing....There must be someone out there who will love him for who he is.... He repeated this mantra in his head for hours as he continued to play his song for hours....days even

Lila followed the boy, a bit reluctantly into a darker hallway, where he appeared complete, no parts invisible i.n the slightest. "My name is Lila, and I haven't been looking for you, per say, but another, um, shade. There's not a lot of us left, at least, not a lot of us are known about, soI get lonley. I heard some rumors about a shade being here, and decided to come see for myself." (Goodnight @thistle, I'm also going to sleep. That is, unless someone wants to have, like, I don't know, followed Jun and Lila back into the hallway, and wants to talk. I'll stay awake for that.)

He lights a few candles around the flowers as he tries to make the most romantic environment possible as he plays his harp and his bird whistles softly along with him as he sat on his lily pad he began to get a bit restless. He hops off his lily pad and goes through the hallway. And stumbles across Lila

Lila, feeling something on her leg, stumbled backwards. She blushed, then looked at what she felt. It was a cat, the same one that had helped her earlier. She mumbled a bit, then in a quiet voice, said a thank you. "H-hey, thanks for helping me, earlier."

He blushes a bright blue but slowly stares at the floor getting the impression that she was out of his league as he simply nods and walks away. His tail drags on the ground as he felt as if all hope was lost...... He hoped that someone anyone would pay him mind instead of immediately leaving him for something more interesting.

Oliver moaned and rolled over, intending to get more comfortable, as his left arm was currently weirdly bent under his weight. What resulted, however, was a strangled yelp, followed by a loud bang, as the imp once again managed to slip off the edge of the couch he was laying on, sending him crashing to the floor. Oliver groaned as his eyes flew open, rubbing his head with his non hurting arm as he looked around the room.

It was obvious that he was inside Buckley's apartment, though how he had gotten here, was a mystery. Maybe he had sleep-walked? Even though the imp had never done something like that before, it was a definite possibility. Last he remembered was that he was feeling very, very bored, and then, nothing.

Oliver hm'ed softly as he got to his feet, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes while doing so. It was dark outside, still, as proven by a quick glance at the window in the left hand corner of the room. The very same window, in fact, that he and Estelle had crashed into that one time. The imp smiled at the memory and began walking over to it, intending to glance outside to see if there was maybe a hot-dog stand nearby or something, as he was feeling a little peckish.

What he saw instead, made the imp's glowing yellow eyes go huge. There were tiny lights, everywhere. They were moving around the night sky in a speedy sort of way, covering the outside of the cafe with their yellow lights, not quite unlike Oliver's own eyes, which were now trying to trail each and everyone of the small lights as they flew around.

Oliver opened the window, pushing the thing open with both hands, before sticking his head out to take a better look. The cold air from the night hit him in the face, chilling him slightly as his bangs were blown out of his eyes, giving him a clearer view of the odd things. As one of them came a little too close, the imp's hand shot out and grabbed it out of the air. Oliver first winced, having expected whatever this was to burn him, because, in all honesty the things looked like they were made of fire. When it didn't, though, he looked down at his hand in surprise, watching as the little... bug?

Oliver's eyebrows shot up to his hairline as he stared down at the thing, which was currently making it's way around his palm. "So you're a... bug?" The imp whispered, bringing the glowing thing closer to his face, it's light chasing away the shadows cast by his bangs, making his eyes seem even more yellow than they originally were. Oliver had to bite his lip to keep from laughing as the bugs little legs tickled the inside of his hand, when he noticed something even more odd than the glowing bug. Something that he, personally, thought was quite awe inspiring. And which deserved to be shared with the first person he could find.

The imp closed his hand into a loose fist to preserve the glowing bug, before sprinting across the room and over to the front door of Buckley's apartment. He threw the door open, running outside and towards the steps, his eyes filled with childish wonder. He was just about to turn the corner from the staircase, when he ran straight into someone, sending him flying backwards and hitting the floor with an audible 'omph'.

Oliver looked up a little dazed, and saw just what it was he had run into. It was Jun, who was standing there looking quite shocked himself. Immediately, the grin reappeared on the imp's freckled face, and he got to his feet with a giggle, all traces of his previous sadness gone. He grabbed the shade's pale wrist, and dumped the glowing bug into his hand, pointing at it all the while.

"Look, Jun!" Oliver exclaimed happily, poking the glowing bug a little with his finger, "I found them outside! The air is filled with them!" The imp waved his hands over his head to emphasize his words further, his eyes filled with mirth, "And the most awesomest thing is..." He looked straight at the shade's befuddled face, a serious expression now overtaking his features as he wanted to convey his previous discovery. "Their butts light up!"

With that, the imp turned and ran back up the stairs, intent on watching the bugs until his eyes popped out of his head.

(Okay. I can explain... You know when you feel like writing something so much that it's literally driving you insane? That's how I felt. So I did this. :I)

Serathi tensed gripping Vahl's hand hard, " No closer, I need that boy shades blood," she growled, her eyes narrowing into crimson slits. She was growing tired of bouncing between bodies and getting used to controlling them. She could barely access a quarter of her true powers in these feeble human bodies. Serathi shook her head causing her blond curls to sway with her motion, " No need to worry about Abbadon, He knows who his master, and what will happen if he disobeys me," Serathi smirked, her lips curling up in cruel grin. "But...right now," Serathi smirked as they finally walked up into a hall, pushing Vahl down into one of the chairs that were scattered throughout it, sitting in his lap so her thighs were on either side of him," I wanna know how your gonna tear my son and Noire's child apart," she smiled with evil glee. " To Vincent, that girl is his whole world, his reason to live, if something were to happen to her, or they split up, he would be crushed, destroyed even," Serathi smiled, stroking Vahl's cheek before pulling the collar of his shirt down to reveal his neck and collarbone more, smirking when she saw a bite mark just below his collarbone, "Looks like I bit you to hard to..." she murmured, pressing her mouth to Vahl's neck, biting hard enough to draw blood and cause a pleasurable amount of pain to Vahl.

Ashes' ears twitch as he overheard Serathis' conversation. He dissolves into a pile of ashes and let's controls the wind to where she was biting Vahl as he turns back into his original kitty form. " Um.... am I interrupting something? " He tilts his head and looks at her curiously

Baffled, Jun didn't know what was happening as Oliver spoke, animation filling both gestures and expressions as he encouraged the shade to look, look! Though he wished to share the imp's excitement over the new discovery, Oliver's unexpected reappearance had jostled him a bit, Jun notably impressed by the boy's recovery rate. Before he knew it his companion was already gone, shooting back up the stairwell, and leaving the shade closed fist and dumbfound.

Holding his hand between himself and Lila, his fingers opened slowly to reveal the source of Oliver's glee, and found the firefly curled into the space of his hand. After being abducted from its home, jostled on its way down the stairs, and flipped like a pancake from one gigantic pale platform to the next, the bug was appropriately frightened, its bottom barely aglow.

Wordless, he held it out for Lila to see, trying to suppress the rising mirth bubbling in his chest as he recalled Oliver's entertaining antics. "Would you like to hold it, Lila?" Jun asked, and the firefly's glow seemed to strengthen as it caught sight of open air. It was enough to make the middle of his palm translucent, allowing one to see the floorboards below.

Lila was slightly stunned when the energetic little boy ran down the stairs, shoved something into Juns hand, then ran away. Offered the glowing bug, she reached out a hand, tentative. She didn't have much experiance with bugs, and was always extremely nervious around them. As the bug made its way over her hand, she raised it to face level, looking in wonder at the tiny thing. "I'm going to let the poor thing go. Where is the nearest exit?"

@thistle

"The two seem quite fond of one another," the wisp replied, speaking over the sounds of Serathi's current ministrations as she continued to unbutton his shirt, mouth still against his chest. Left to his own thoughts Vahl was in the middle of trying to figure out a plan when one of her fangs nicked him sharply, opening the recently healed wound. Not entirely displeased by the sensation, the wisp took action none the less. In an automatic reaction, the hand which had been stroking her head with absent encouragement, ceased, and paused long enough to slid up beneath the curls and cradle the back of her skull. From there his fingers buried deep within the locks, tightening in the roots just enough to draw her face up and close to his own. Based on the look in the demoness's eyes she seemed absolutely content with herself.

"The witch is a bit sensitive when it comes to her Grandmother, making her emotions a delicate thing." Vahl, whose voice sounded distant, seemed to be speaking more to himself as he wondered over a plan, watching as his own blood trail down the side of her lip, enticingly. "And I happened to come across something most precious to her. Should it break, it would be easy to take advantage of the situation."

With his free hand, he slipped it around her waist and beneath Serathi's shirt, beginning to roll the heel of his palm against the smooth flesh. Her spine marked the trail he followed as his hand traced upward, noting the ridges of each vertebrae as it continued their slow, teasing path. "A kiss, for instance, might do the trick," he murmured, the words caressing her cheek, and without saying anything further he pulled her down to him, tasting her and hints of blood on her tongue.

- fade to black -

Stricken by her thoughtful quality, Jun crossed into the spare bedroom, shoving the now odorless can into a corner, and unlatched one of the windows. "If you place him in on the sill here, he should be fine in a bit." The shade made room for Lila, staring outward and catching the rest of the bugs companions bobbing complacently outside.

@Scattered Ambitions

Serathi smirked as she sat up on top of Vahl,rolling over so she was laying next to him, after they had begun kissing and biting one another, they had somehow managed to make it back to Serathi's room, half naked and covered in bite marks but they had made it back. Serathi laughed, tracing each of her bite marks that were scattered across Vahl's neck, chest, and arms. " Something has always bugged me Vahl," Serathi murmured, brushing some of her hair behind her back, exposing Vahl's own bitemarks, gracing her neck and chest like little kinky kisses. " How exactly did you spend your time around Noire?" she smirked.

Lila strode over to the window. Setting the bug down, she looked out the window at the millions of tiny, floating, golden lights. Gasping at the sight, she lowered her head, and stuck her head out the window, feeling the cool night air hit her face as she did so. "They're so pretty...."
