"It appears that way," Vahl replied as he began to wave to her. "I'll make sure to introduce myself properly to him next time."

"Yeh, and that's all well and good, Buckley, but the threat is still there, innit? I mean, can you expect everybody to just turn-"


Vincent tuned out the rambling old vampire, who was repeating the same mantra he had heard nearly a thousand times before. Damon McFarland was a renowned war hero from the second vampire wars, and while the demon respected him immensely for that, the old vampire had let himself go. Now, he was content just sitting at the bar night in and night out, spouting conspiracy theories and suspecting everyone around him of being the enemy, while drinking cognac.


Vincent turned away from the man, a fond smile playing on his lips. That's when he spotted a familiar white head of hair, on top of an anxious and troubled looking expression. The demon walked over to the shade, his brow furrowing in concern.


"Jun? You alright, buddy?"

"We should go to the cafe," Oliver suddenly said, looking up at Akira pleadingly, "I kind of... left, last time I was there, and I didn't say goodbye." The imp shifted around sheepishly, thinking back. He didn't want to leave the cafe anymore, not when he was welcomed back by the fairy princess like he had been. All his plans to disappear had now been turned completely on their head, and Oliver wasn't really sure what it was he wanted anymore. Except, of course, to stay.

Akira smiled grabbing Alexander's hand in one hand and Oliver's in the other "Then lets go back to the Cafe, I want to get Ellie to help out with picking a wedding dress anyways! Oh I didn't tell you did I Oliver?" She motioned to the ring on her hand "Me and Alexander are now properly engaged like humans are!" she squeeked in excitement as Luke set up the portal for them "Imma stay here Akira, If Graeme is there he will kill me" Akira nodded "we'll be back" Before pulling Alexander and Oliver through.


They were soon outside of the cafe Akira and Alexander's work displaying proudly shining beautifully around the cafe.

Ellie raised her hand to wave goodbye at Vahl " I'll hold you to that!" she giggled, walking back over to the cafe, opening it to the familiar sounds and smells. One sight she hadn't seen in a long time, " Jun!" she squealed happily hugging the shade. " Your ok! you just left so suddenly last time!!!" she smiled.

Oliver let himself be pulled through the portal, and with him not being able to exclaim his surprise over Akira's sudden and unexpected engagement announcement, he did the only thing he could. Once they landed outside the cafe, he turned to the couple, brought his arms out to his sides, making Bratwurst crawl into his hoodie, and with a shocked and wide eyed expression shouted, "What?!"

Zero sighed as he left his shadowy hiding place but he made a metal note in his head about Vahl. He then received a text which said "Sorry but your apartment complex is being shut down for safety hazards and we regret to inform you that you cannot return home. We're sorry." He cursed under his breath as he looked at the cafe.... he did hear some stuff about an imp being allowed to stay maybe the cafe could give him a place to stay or maybe they know somebody who'll take him in for awhile until he can get a new house..... He sighed as he walked back inside as he walked up to the counter where Vincent was "...... Hey I'm sorry to bother you about this but I need a favor." He then lit his last cigarette.

The shade didn't know who to react to first as hands wrapped over his shoulders, glancing up at Vincent at the same time. Not wishing to disturb the happy commotion, he forced a smile to his face, placing the umbrella in his lap and out of harm's way. "Yes, just very glad to see the both of you, " he reached over his shoulder to touch the witch's hands fondly, frost blue hair melding with his own. "Hi there, Ellie."

Akira smiled at Oliver "Well we were already engaged against our will by my father. At first we hated it"


Alexander cleared his throat "She hated it, But I having already been in love with her with my good looks and charms I made her fall for me"


Akira nudged Alexander in his side with her elbow giving him a raised eyebrow, he raised his hands in surrender.


"Seeing how we were already engaged.. I wanted to be engaged the human way with a pretty ring so people knew I had a special someone, Like an announcement to the world!"


Alexander smiled leading Akira to the cafe gently pushing Oliver by the shoulders towards it "Now lets go, you do have to Apologize don't you Oliver? Akira has to go shopping for a wedding dress too."

"Can I get you anything?" Vincent asked happily, watching the reunion between Ellie and Jun with a grin, before his attention was stolen by none other than whiskey guy. He turned to face him, blinking at him in confusion, "What can I help you with?" He asked, tilting his head to the side.

Oliver let himself be pushed, wondering just how many times today he was going to be either grabbed, lifted, pushed and shoved before the people around him understood that he had legs that worked perfectly fine. A small giggle escaped his lips as he grabbed the door handle of the cafe, pushing the door open, making the bell ring. "I think I should say congratulations or something like that," He chirped, watching in fascination as Akira's ring glimmered in the light from the cafe, "But I'm not really sure if that's right."

 

[Elfia Nightwing]

Ellie smiled looking up at the shade," Don't ever do that again you crazy shade!" she scolded him lightly, her eyes shining intensely.

 

[thistle]

"I'll try not to," he promised Ellie, though the words sounded half-hearted even to his own ears. As glanced up at her, he noticed the dry markings running down her face, partially scrubbed away by a haphazard hand. "Ellie, were you cryi - "


Before he could finish the door opened to reveal Oliver and a familiar pair of fairies marching inside.

Akira smiled at Oliver fondly her hand still clasped with Alexander's "Usually you do congratulate people for something like this." she giggled


Akira's head turned to Alexander as she felt him lightly squeeze her hand and her smile widened slightly. He pointed to Ellie and Akira's eyes lit up


"Oh right!"

Ellie looked up at the pair as walked into the cafe, " Aki and Alexander!" she smiled, walking over to Akira hugging her tightly.

Oliver shifted uncomfortably on his feet, looking around the cafe with a slightly confused expression on his face. He had never seen it so packed full before. For that matter, he had never really seen the cafe in action before either. The imp sighed and walked away from the two happy fairies, making his way up to the bar with a slight shuffle.


Once there, he reached behind him and grabbed Bratwurst, placing her one the counter so that she could explore on her own. He glanced up at Buckley, then at the white haired boy next to him, Jun, before he placed his cheek against the wooden surface of the counter top, his tail dangling behind him. "Hey guys." He murmured.

Akira hugged Ellie back letting go of Alexander's hand "Hey Ellie!" she smiled sweetly she held up her ring and winked "Want to do a little shopping with me? I do need some help with planning this. I have to pick flowers, A dress, a cake. I could really use the help of a fellow girl." @Elfia Nightwing

Jun glanced over to see Vincent preoccupied with the man who had been whipping up shadows out of thin air, setting aside his umbrella and intending to greet Akira as well, when he saw the ring embedded on her single digit. Had it been anywhere else he would have admired its beauty but it was fitted purposefully on the fourth finger of her left hand, signaling its significance.


Seems like he always happened to miss things while he was away. There had been a point where Jun had felt something kindle inside his chest upon Akira's first introduction, but witnessing how happy she was now, he knew he had only dappled in fleeting emotions. His expression softened by thoughts of the past, he straightened and held his arms out for Akira. "It's good to see you," he said when she arrived for the embrace, "and congratulations as well."

Ellie smiled brightly, " First Maria and Ase, now you two? What is it some kinda secret ' let's all get engaged party' nobody told me about?" she laughed. " I'd love to help you Aki," she smiled.

Akira smiled a little sadly at Jun feeling guilty for never telling him properly, Seeing the soft expression she walked up into his open arms hugging him


"Jun I..." she paused biting her lip "Thank you" It may have only been two simple words but the way she said it she hoped the meaning was understood


'Thank you for once holding feelings for me' 'Thank you for being by my side' 'Thank you for being a friend' 'I'm sorry for not telling you sooner'


'I'm sorry for not being able to return your feelings like I do Alexander's' Akira sighed a soft smile blooming on her face as she pulled away slightly looking up at Jun.


She repeated those two words "Thank you"


Alexander gave Jun a nod with a look on his face conveying a thank you of his own for Jun giving her up, for Jun caring for Akira in the past.

Zero sighed "I um..... I need a place to stay.... My apartment got shut down because of sone safety hazards and I really don't have anybody to call up to lend me a place to stay at.... Could you help me out? Also I'm sorry about that fight earlier..... I don't like it when people touch my cigarettes." He looked back at the commotion but decided it would be best to stay out of it apparently it was about marriage of something like that.

"You two used to bump uglies?" Oliver asked curiously, sitting up straight in his seat, looking at the two of them, his head slightly tilted. "Huh. The things you learn."


 
"Yeah, sure," Vincent smiled, nodding his head. While Gnag had been a little tricky, what with him being crazy enough to actually burn the establishment to the ground, he was always willing to help out a fellow 'monster' down on his luck. Besides, whiskey guy didn't seem like a bad guy. "But how about we start by an introduction, hm?" He chuckled, holding out his hand, "Vincent Buckley. Oh, and don't worry yourself too much over the small scuffle with the mummies. They're always like that."

The pause between them seemed to hold more significance than Jun would have imagined as Akira's words almost sounded like they were parting. And had he the mind to reply, he would have done so but the moment was shattered instantly as he caught the imp's interruption.


"Us?" Jun's voice cracked almost at the exclamation, staring wildly between Akira and Alexander. Oh gods, and it had just seemed like they'd finally made ground. "We didn't. I swear."

 

[Elfia Nightwing]

" I knew something happened when she stayed at your apartment," Ellie smirked, giggling, elbowing Jun in the elbow.

Akira's eyes widened "We didn't! Oh good lord we didn't!" Alexander chuckled "Trust me Oliver, they didn't. Akira is not that type of girl." @Cryobionic


Alexander then shot both Jun and Akira a warning glare "Atleast they better not have"

"That kind of girl'?" Oliver repeated, frowning in confusion. He looked from the flustered fairy to the spluttering shade, shaking his head. "You don't have to get all defensive about it," He said, smirking slightly, "Don't blow a fuse, it was just an assumption. And I wouldn't blame you if you did, 'Kira. Jun's hot."


With that, the imp turned away from them with a giggle, waving the demon over to order a drink, feeling he needed one.

His hands went up immediately into air as if he had been caught stealing something. "I promise," he urged and began to wave them frantically in front of himself. "Nothing happened." To the side he gave both the imp and the witch a hopeless frown that seemed to say 'you did this to me.'.
