Gnag scuttled back up and dragged Oliver and the cat without a warning. "You're a blundering idiot yes, but honestly do you think we're daft enough to leave yer sorry arse up thare?" "I thought we were leaving him up there..." "You always assume we're leaving people. You're a blundering idiot too Gnag!" "Oye, we're both the same, you don't get to say anythin bout me like that!"

Graeme chuckled as he was smacked. "What?! You have to admit that was pretty funny."

A portal opened up outside the cafe it was flickering and two people tumbled out in a heap almost getting caught in the portal as it closed. They both stood up and brushed themselves off to reveal Luke and the Advisor


Luke sighed "That damn imp, if he hadn't run off Akira wouldn't have gone out searching for him in that state.


If it wasn't for these idiots at the Cafe she wouldn't be in that state in the first place. Making her so upset her corruption comes out..


at this rate they could kill her. She hasn't been sleeping much because of her Kingdom work, that Imp is being selfish when all she wants to do is protect him so


shes running herself raged, the people at the cafe keep doing stupid things which has made her corruption come out which made her use a lot of power, she hasn't


been eating much either trying to keep up with everything. Shes already ill, if we don't find her...."


The Advisor grabbed Luke's shoulders "She'll be fine, calm down. The Princess is a lot stronger than we give her credit for. Don't worry we'll find her."


Luke growled "When we do I'm locking her in the damn Medical wing until shes better and not letting anyone from the cafe around her. They only cause trouble for her."

Oliver let out a yelp as he was jostled over the edge of the roof, clinging on to the other imps hand for dear life, while Bratwurst simply let out an indignant meow before jumping into his hood. The dark haired imp was soon enough back on the ground and he let go of the other, stepping backwards with a giggle. "That was fun," He breathed, cracking up, "Can we go again?"


The imp stumbled a little, but managed to keep his balance, and jumped as two people suddenly appeared behind Gnag, looking at them wide eyed. After studying them for a few seconds, taking in their fair exteriors and wings, he could only come to the conclusion that these people were fairies. He hadn't seen them before, however, so he didn't approach them, choosing instead to just stand there and wait for them to acknowledge them.

Luke and the Advisor sighed when Luke Noticed two imps, he glared "Are one of you Oliver? Where is Princess Akira? She is ill and searching for the imp who ran away and because of the extent of her sickness she might be collapsed somewhere. If it wasn't for said imp she could be home resting and getting better!" each time he said imp and even Oliver's name he spat it with venom angry that Akira was being so careless for a what he deems selfish imp. @Cryobionic

Gnag walked up to the fairies and kicked the one named Luke, "Oye you blundering idiots, can't you see I'm tryin to talk to this laddie here?" Pointing to Oliver he looked up at Luke. "You may be taller but by god you're one ugly critter. Yer family must have adopted ye, I sure would have abandoned ye." Cackling Gnag fell forward knocking his skull on the ground. "Ah, that was a good one Gnag, you always got good jokes." "What are ye talkin about, I wasn't lying! This blundering idiot must be related to a hag! At least we aren't as stupid." Gnag cackled again and got up walking to Oliver's cat. "And ye still haven't told us yer name wee kitten. You ever gonna speak or are ye deaf as well?"

"Um," Oliver stammered, looking up at the two men confused, then at the other imp, it was obvious that they were infuriated with him, and Oliver felt a small twinge of guilt shoot through him at the thought of Akira collapsing while searching for him. But he didn't necessarily want to get beat up again, as he was still sore from the last time he had fucked up, so with nothing better to do, and certainly no other way of getting out of this mess he pointed at the insane imp, "He's Oliver," He told them, picking up his cat and hugging it to his chest. Hopefully that would work, as out of the two of them, Gnag was actually to one who looked more... imp-like. He felt bad for dooming the insane one to his punishment, but... he really didn't want to be tortured again.


Without waiting for an answer, Oliver escaped into the cafe, leaving the others behind as he closed the door.

Estelle stuck out her tongue, as she wrote something else, holding it up for Vinny to see, I bet there's biting, lots of biting, you seem like the type. She smirked nodding her acknowledgement to Greame.


Maroa flung open her door moving towards her bed, groaning with each step, " Home...Finally home..." she smiled falling on her bed, letting out a sigh of relief.

Gnag cackled, "Ah the blundering idiot forgets I say my name in every sentence. Isn't that right Gnag?" "Thas right, blundering idiots are everywhere these days!" Gnag skittered to the door and flung it open yelling into the cafe. "Guess who's here! Thas right! Gnag, the imp of insanity!" Cackling he fell forward balancing on his skull while attempting to breath, cackling uncontrollably.

Luke sighed, and he and the Advisor walked into the cafe after Gnag "Oliver! You truly are a selfish imp! you run away again instead of coming with us to stop Akira from worrying so she'll come home, you try to make us take a stranger instead." Luke growled out then started ranting to himself about idiot Princess's and selfish imps. The Advisor sighed "She'll eventually come back here Luke, we'll just have to force her back to the castle if the imp won't come with us."


Luke sighed unhappy with the idea of forcing Akira to do anything, she might hate them for it. Luke and the Advisor headed to the door, Luke spoke before exiting "Imp you truly are selfish, she feeds you, clothes you gives you a home and love and lets you even keep that cat and how do you thank her? You break her portal making it harder for us to trade with under kingdoms and if it doesn't get fixed could make our whole kingdom go under. Oh and what else? When shes sick because she gets angry and corrupted on your behalf running herself into the ground you worry her running off and refuse to come back making her search for you because she cares about you. I don't know why she bothers to let you stay in the kingdom. It'd be best if she just stopped caring about someone like you." Luke stormed out the Advisor looking on in shock, the Advisor turned bowing


"I apologize for his behavior but you must understand, his life is protecting the kingdom and Akira, he cares about the Princess like a little sister. He takes her protection very seriously. He isn't entirely wrong either. If we can't fix the portal you might have doomed our kingdom and who knows where Akira is, she should be at home resting. For her sake you should come back, Luke is going to try and establish a mental connection with her to get her to come back to the cafe. Please consider it for her sake Lord Oliver." He then walked out the door with one last bow.

Ase watched the witch make her way through the apartment and to her bedroom , she sat at the table for a few more minutes befor following the witch. Ase stopped at the bedroom door and knocked on the door "emm, Marie ..." she whimpered out into the dark room. @Elfia Nightwing

Gnag stared at the Advisor for a few moments, "You said a wee portal is disfunctional yes? I can fix it without a problem. Portals are easy!" Cackling Gnag banged on his skull, "Damned portals are easy to fix!" "Thas right, we could get it running again within a day or two!" Gnag latched onto the Advisor and pointed out the door, "TO THE BROKEN PORTAL!"

Maria turned to the sound of Ase's voice,"What?" she asked her voice cold.

Oliver sighed as he watched them leave, a frown just about visible under his bangs. With a huff he walked over to the bar, sitting himself down on the barstool furthest out, and after a small wave at Estelle he smashed his head against the counter top, making the glasses and bottles under it rattle. "Fuck." He muttered under his breath, drawing some comfort from the stinging pain now spreading from his forehead.


Of course, they were fairies, so he couldn't exactly expect them to understand how imp life worked. If he wasn't so sure that the men would end up strangling Gnag, he would have asked the insane imp to explain it to them. He was bound to manage to actually talk about it, no matter how mentally disturbed he was. Oliver briefly wondered how the fairy princess was doing, but shoved that thought out of his mind sternly. It wouldn't do to pine over something that was already lost. Had he not known that from the start?


Oliver smashed his head into the counter a second time, harder, and let out a loud groan. "This is impossible." he said out loud, to nobody in particular.

Estelle pouted smacking Oliver on the shoulder, pointing to the still sleeping Ellie as she stirred in her sleep. She glared at him, her face seeming to say, Do not wake up Ellie.

The Advisor's eyes widened but a soft smile overtook his face, he took out his key and threw it "We'll have to be quick or we could get stuck from the malfunctioning of the main portal" he spoke as he jumped through with Gnag

Luke stayed outside waiting "Akira...where are you?" a fluttering of wings and a clumsy landing behind him a voice sounded "I'm here, hey Luke"


Luke's eyes widened as he turned around noting her hard time standing straight, her flushed face, her glazed over eyes, her panting and her drooping wings


he glared "YOU IDIOT WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!" Akira flinched and Luke walked up sighing rubbing his temples knowing this was no time to yell at her he knelt down infront of her "Get on my back" Akira looked wide eyes and Luke growled repeating himself "Get. On. My. Back. NOW" Akira gently climbed on and Luke stood up making sure she was secure. Luke sighed relieved she listened "I'm taking you home." Akira's eyes widened "NO! I have to find Oliver, what if something has happened to him?!" Luke sighed "IT WON'T DO ANY GOOD IF YOU RUN YOURSELF INTO THE GROUND. Besides..hes in the Cafe, that selfish imp doesn't want to come back. He doesn't care Akira." Akira's eyes widened and teared up as she buried her face into Luke's neck "L..lets go home then" she spoke hopelessness in her voice.


Luke sighed and opened a portal with a key "I'll retrieve his key from him later if you want" Akira only responded with a sniffle and "Do what you wish"


Luke walked through the portal Akira on his back going home.

Luke and Akira arrived shortly after The Advisor and Gnag.

"Marie i dont hate Estelle.....i actually think of her as our child.....kinda" Ase sighed looking through the darkness of the room "that's why i hate that succubus so much" Ase admitted "and last night , i was so worried about her"

Oliver turned his head to the side, his cheek pressing up against the counter top while Bratwurst started purring in her sleep from his hood, "I think you should take Bratwurst," He told the young witch quietly, keeping in mind her warning glare about Ellie, "I'm going to be leaving soon, I think." He explained, with a small sigh giving Estelle a solemn stare, "And I doubt that Bratwurst wants to be a homeless kitten again."

 

[Elfia Nightwing]

Maria sighed in frustration, " He's not a bad kid...Just...Stupid," Maria smiled faintly. " And he makes Estelle so that's what matters right?" She turned to to Ase, " So you if you really cared about Estelle you would let them hand out, and I really doubt he wants to get with Estelle," she smirked.


Estelle took the kitten snuggling her close to her cheek, smiling brightly.

"if you say so , i'll give the imp a break . but if he ever trys something i'll kill him one thousand times over" Ase sighed moving closer to the bed. "i really am sorry about what happened" @Elfia Nightwing

" Well you don't have to worry about that... I kinda yelled at Akira and she said if either of us came near Oliver she would kill us and start war," Maria said rolling her eyes. " God I hate fairies..." she murmured curling up in bed.

The imp smiled faintly, before getting off his chair and reaching out to run his fingers over the kittens head. "I'mma miss you," He told the little furball, giggling quietly as she meowed in response. Then, with one final look around the cafe, he leaned in and pecked Estelle on the cheek before he began walking towards the door. He didn't really know when he had figured out that leaving the cafe would be the best cause of action, but he knew that it was, somehow. The man before had made it pretty clear that his actions and decisions had only been causing trouble, and while Oliver agreed with him to some extent, he hardly wanted to be seen as selfish.


And he had been selfish, had he not? It was pretty selfish of him to expect Akira of all people to understand that he didn't know how to respond to much of what she had done for him. It was very selfish of him to assume that she wouldn't eventually tire of him and most of all, it was incredibly selfish of him to stay with her in the first place. Abominations didn't get to be cared for, and that was something he had stupidly decided to forget. The imp scoffed at himself.


Oliver stepped outside into the now cold air, the bell over the door ringing out as he did so. The sun had only just started to go down and it was getting chillier and chillier by the second. Not surprisingly either, as it was in the middle of September. He pulled his hood over his head, still warm from where Bratwurst had been laying, managing to heat up his head somewhat. The imp then shoved his fists into his pockets and started heading for the city, whistling a sorrowful tune to himself as he walked, hoping that maybe he could find a warm place to hole up for the night, before he headed out of the city tomorrow.

Gnag cackled as they went through the portal, "I see, the portal really has been fucked up real nice ain't it?!" "No kidding Gnag, you think we got the tools to fix it?" "Please, this portal is complete child's play." Gnag scampered off looking around for things to fix the portal with. "We'll be back with shit to fix tha portal with!"

Graeme took Bratwurst with him following Oliver. After they got to the end of the street he picked up Oliver by the collar of his shirt. "We still have a treasure hunt to do you know, besides, you're not leaving that easy." Graeme sighed before setting Oliver down and handing him Bratwurst, "You know Akira is worried about you and I'm sure Luke is making excuses. We're going to my house for the night and then we'll do that treasure hunt tomorrow. Sound like a good plan to start with?"

"This 'treasure hunt' of yours better be good," Oliver pouted, frowning down at his shoes, "because you just ruined my dramatic, solemn exit." He joked, but there was no trace of his usual mischievous demeanor in his words, and the expected giggle wouldn't come. He took the kitten and hugged her to his chest with a sigh, shaking his head, "I'll help you with your adventure," He told him after a few seconds looking up at the shapeshifter with empty eyes, "But after that, I am leaving. Nothing good will come of me staying, especially not for A-Akira."

Vincent sighed as he watched Graeme leave after the imp, and shook his head sadly before walking over the other side of the bar. He gave Estelle a small smile before picking up Ellie, carrying the sleeping witch upstairs. At least, if nothing else, he could prevent a sore back.
