Fantasy Magic Brew Cafè (CLOSED)

Akira jumped "Oliver..ran away. I figured he came back here. I told him to stay away from Ase and Excalibur after they nearly killed him, I told him not to go to the cafe without me anymore, I told him I cared about him and pleaded with him to let me protect him... he ran. He ran saying that its not how it works said I wasn't supposed to care that I was acting all wrong. He believed he deserved to get beaten nearly to death." Akira shook remembering what Oliver told her what happened to him in the past her hands flew up to her mouth as she let out a heart wrenching sob "He..he told me..in the past this kind of thing has happened. He said he was..used to it. He shouldn't have had to become used to it! Its not fair, why him? why?!" she was getting worked up her sobs coming out harsher as she crumbled to the ground tired, worried, angry, sad. @Elfia Nightwing

There was a lot of commotion reaching a pair of small, furry black ears, causing them to twitch in annoyance. The small creature opened it's large, green eyes and looked around cautiously, as she had learned quite some time ago to do, as one never knew what kind of dangers might be lurking around the corners. The small creature eventually found herself walking silently, like a predator stalking it's prey, towards the sounds. Curiosity had never been one of the creature's strong suits, and right now, she was curious to see just what was causing all of that ruckus.

Emerging from her previous spot among the glass bottles stacked under the big man-table, she jumped down gracefully, her paws not ever making a sound as they hit the floor, and began walking towards the first giant she saw. It wasn't her giant, who was decidedly much smaller than this one, but he would do. He smelled like grass and dirt, and a little bit of darkness making the creature's hairs stand on end. She still rubbed her body against his leg, though, just to make sure. Plus, she had an itch she couldn't scratch, and a tiny meow of pleasure escaped her as she felt it go away.

(I didn't really have a character who could interact with you yet, so... have Bratwurst.)

Estelle flinched backing away, at the fairies sudden flurry of emotions, her hair wiggling cautiously. She cast a glance at Ellie raising a eyebrow as if to ask, What happened?. Ellie shrugged, walking over to Akira rubbing her back while her back while the girl cried.

(Hey, whatever works xD ) Graeme glanced down to see the cat known as Bratwurst. "Hey there, you want some attention?" Graeme set down his pen and book and held his hands down for the cat. "I haven't seen anyone lately, cats are still pretty cool."

Akira clung to Ellie needing whatever comfort she could possibly get right now, when her sobbing lessened she spoke "I.. I don't know where he is Ellie, what if hes hurt? I'm a horrible guardian. I can't believe I let him out of my sight. If I was only faster..."

@Elfia Nightwing

The kitten gave him a look, which would have translated into 'of course I want attention, you petty giant' had the cat been able to talk. With a swift movement, and an elegantly executed jump, one of which she was very proud of and had perfected for a while, she landed into his hands expertly. She then proceeded to butt her head against the giant's chest, letting him know that he was now granted the privilege of petting her exquisite fur coat, which had become much more pretty after her giant had fed her.

The kitten began to purr, closing her eyes with happiness.

Vincent emerged from the staircase, looking around confusedly. There were way more people down here than he had expected, including Akira, who had previously told him that she would never come back. He was a little taken aback at that, and while he knew that the fairy wasn't exactly known for sticking to her decisions, he had not been expecting her back in here so soon. She was currently being cradled by Ellie, and was sobbing hysterically.

Graeme was also there, to Vincent's relief. And he walked over to him, his hands in his pockets and hesitantly nudged him the arm, "What the hell happened this time?" He asked him quietly, gesturing to the two girls.

" He'll be fine, knowing Twist he's probably stealing from a hot dog stand somewhere," Estelle croaked sipping her glass of water. Ellie smiled at Akira nodding agreeing with Estelle," She's right, Ollie's a lot more capable than we give him credit for," she smiled.

Graeme stroked the cat's fur lightly and noticed Vincent. "Hell if I know, I just got here, you're guess is as good as mine." Graeme closed his book and stuffed it into his satchel making sure not to bug the cat before stroking the cat again. "So, what happened here since obviously you should know more than me being it's YOUR cafe."

Vincent sighed and walked over to the other side of the bar, reaching for the coffee grounds, "Do you take anything special in your coffee? It's quite the tale."

Pointing at Vincent Graeme exclaimed, "Hazelnut, and if it's that long of a tale you might as well make me two cups." Graeme chuckled before speaking, "Has it really been that hectic?"

"It's not as much long as it is... troubling," Vincent frowned, grabbing the jars of soul residue and hazelnut off the shelf behind him, leaning over the bar with a sigh as he waited for the coffee maker to finish up. Soon, the whole cafe filled with the smell of the freshly brewed beverage, "As far as I know, it started with Ollie and Ase, the angel, remember? Anyway, he apparently didn't take very kindly to her making fun of one of his friends, Estelle," Vincent pointed to the girl in question, watching in fascination as her hair wriggled around her head. No matter how long he had known her for, he didn't think he would ever get used to that rather... unusual aspect of the fourteen year old.

"This is all something I heard second hand, by the way, because I wasn't really in the cafe at the time. Anyway, so Ollie starts arguing with her in typical imp fashion, I'm sure you know the kind, and... I don't really know what happened, but Ase ended up summoning her weapon and Oliver went through the window." Vincent pointed to the still broken window, the shards of glass still laying around it. He reached over to the coffee maker, and poured two cups of the stuff, stirring in the ingredients.

((So I'm going to remove Mazus from the rp guys, I am going to come up with an interesting way to give him a somewhat interesting exit.))

Meanwhile, Oliver was dangling his legs over the side of the roof, watching the city while munching on his apple piece. It was really amazing how much he could see from his viewpoint, and how far into the distance he could see. He could make out the ocean in the distance, it's blue shade reminding him a little of Ellie's hair, and the clock-tower and lake smack dab in the middle of the city too.

Sitting up here had calmed him down exponentially, and he was feeling a lot less conflicted now. The light morning breeze ruffled his hair as he nibbled on the hairy piece of apple, the sweet taste of it almost non existent now. He was still in no rush to get down yet, because he knew that once he did, he would have to face the wrath of the fairy princess and if he was being honest with himself, her earlier outburst had outright... scared him.

He didn't understand her anger or tears, and he couldn't bring himself to figure out why she had been reacting that way either. It had been an uncomfortable and terrifying experience, and it had left him with more questions he knew shouldn't be answered. Oliver pushed those thoughts aside as he decided to do what he did best, ignore them. He began banging his feet against the brick wall stretching out under him as he continued to watch the city and eating his apple piece.

Graeme stared at the window for a moment. "Well then, I didn't expect that. So who's the most upset?" Graeme looked around the room curiously trying to decide who looked the most upset.

Cryobionic said:
"I don't really know," Vincent replied honestly, shrugging his shoulders, "Akira, I think."
Graeme nodded. "Seems like her, Akira is easily irritable." Graeme stroked the cat and chuckled. "I remember our childhood, I made her angry all the time."

Ellie sighed, standing up once she thought she had comforted Akira enough, giving Graeme a half hearted smile, as she walked to the bar patting Estelle's head, as she teleported a small whiteboard into her hand, giving to Estelle. " No talking while your throat is healing, don't wanna put too much stress on you vocal cords," she smiled causing Estelle to pout as she looked down and began writting something, holding it up for Ellie to see when she was finished, This freakin' blows, it read in big, bubbly, handwriting.

"Yeah, well, it all ended when Ase's weapon almost killed Oliver. He lost a lot of blood as I'm sure you could see outside," he told the shapeshifter, handing him his requested cup of coffee while pouring one for Ellie with a small smile.

"Actually no, I didn't notice..." Graeme sighed, looking around. "Speaking of which, where is Oliver?" ((I may take a while to respond with Graeme, I'm about to do Mazus's grand exit.))

"I don't really know," Vincent replied, looking over at the trembling fairy, then at the cerulean haired witch, "Do you?" He asked her, handing her the cup of coffee before picking up his own, "And what's the deal with Akira, anyway?"

Ellie smiled taking the cup in her hands, sipping the coffee, her eyes brightening in happiness when the familiar taste hit her mouth "She's worried about Oliver...She told him he couldn't be around the cafe with out her and he didn't take it well," she sighed. Estelle pouted tugging Vincent's shirt sleeve, writing something out before holding up the board, I want juice. It bluntly read.

Akira stood up wiping at her eyes finally noticing Graeme she shot up and walked over quickly looking at him pleadingly. "Graeme! Do you know of any tracking spells or anything?! Oliver ran out of the castle and I don't know where he is!" she had calmed down quite a bit but was still panicked though no longer crying her eyes out though there was remaining tear tracks on her face.

@Dnaleri017

"Predictable," Was all the demon said, before turning around as he felt something tugging at him. He looked down at Estelle's whiteboard and cracked a small smile, before procuring a glass from one of the cabinets. "What kind?" He asked with a grin.

Estelle shrugged, as if it say it didn't matter. She looked down at her board, writing something new, Can demons get married? it read and she looked up at Vincent tilting her head.

Mazus appeared in the cafe and used a spell projecting his voice to be heard by everyone in the room. "I'm sorry everyone, the angels have found me, I must leave now. I wish you all well, I've made the mistake of using the angel's tome without taking precautions. They're on their way to find me as I speak and I enjoyed the time I had with you all." Mazus plucked multiple feathers from his wings and gave placed them on the table. "These are for you all. If you ever need me, only in the most dire of situations, crush a feather and speak my name. I may be able to help you but I cannot return, I'm putting you in danger each moment I stay. Remember me friends, and know the grand magus of heaven will always keep an eye on you." Mazus bowed to them all and left a small book on the table. "Ellie, this book is especially for you. I angel proofed it so you're not tracked by them for using these spells. They are all spells that can expel dark magics of all sorts, but they cost a large amount of energy so use them only if you must. I suggest you study them though, for they are difficult to preform. Farewell friends of the cafe..." Mazus turned and walked out the door, unfurling his wings he leapt into the air with an abrupt flap of his wings and disappeared from the cafe's view slowly. He glided through the air gracefully until he was out of sight, not to be seen anymore. ((And so Mazus has officially left the rp, unless you guys use a wing, then he'll be an npc I use for a single post xD ))
