Magic and Void

Well...I figure that Chaos is the closest I get to surprise. The basis for this is the function is constant but the method is different. I could set something on fire by freezing it, it is thus chaotic and ergo Chaos.

If you're freezing something, that is counted as an Ice Element. If you're going to set something on fire, it would obviously be Fire Element. I don't want anyone to combine two elements when they each have their separate Element.

I don't think you will restrict yourself to simply freezing/setting something on fire. You will extend it to practically every other power possible. Hence a godmod.

Well if you still want to go with Chaos, you can create your own kind of Chaos Element. Perhaps Chaos Element can affect one's mind, or you can make a kind of Chaos element (Like Earth or Fire)

I've always thought of Chaos as dark-earth-fire, focused on tainting, taunting, ensnaring and destruction. If not then I'll go with soul

No seriously, you could cause chaos of the mind. Causing psychosis. You could alter the sensory inputs of a person etc. But you would have to restrict it to one person at a time but add a loophole.

Gosh! I wish I'd thought of this before

Can you explain that element further? Pretend you're talking to an idiot. How would you explain to this idiot? (Hypothetically of course... ;3)

Think of me as a sadistic murderous torturer and you my victim. With Chaos magic I'd slowly torment you to insanity, show you visions of dark horrors, cage you in a nightmarish prison, slowly taint your mind until you become a shell of your former self, obeying my insane whims.

If you try to escape I'll drag you back to me with horrendous shadow tentacles, I would summon eldritch creatures to hold you down as I listen to your screams. Screams which would be music to my ears. Mwahahahah!

Eh sure why not, I don't have to be psychotic do I?
Technically everyone on the Void side is insane but no you don't have to be psychotic. You will have the urge to go against the Magic Circle but it's minor. (I am counting Chaos as a Void Element by the way)

Let's put that on hold, I'm also partial to Soul
Okay so what would Soul be? If you plan on anything to do with Summoning list the Element as: Summoning - Soul Element.

Anyway, continue.

are all voids insaine?
All Voids have the urge to attack the Magic Circle. They are partly insane but not fully insane however they are not normal and whatever they were before they became Void Wizards are gone forever.

The basis of soul magic is infusing One, repeat, one Piece of armor. That piece will slowly grow with it's user until it's fully grown. Soul magic would focus on massive area spells to wipe out enemies. It would allow them to 'weave' souls or pieces of them, or if need be, cut and rip to shreds.

I THINK I understand but I'm not totally sure..
