Magic and Void

Ah-k Cool. Just curious what kind of summon could a mage have?
It could be anything from skeletons to fluffy bunnies. If you do choose a certain animal, make sure it stays the same animal or similar. It can get stronger but you can't have like a Skeleton summon then a bunny summon. It doesn't fit xD

LOL of coarse not. way later once they're stronger they summon a speifitype of elemental. Such as a Fire owater elemental or would that be in the skill set of Fire and water mage?

I think so. It can only be one elemental though.

Er, I object elemental summons >.> It would belong to the elemental mage right?
Elemental mage does not exist. There are Fire Element, Water Element etc. Being an Elemental mage means you would have to contact yourself to multiple Elements.

I meant, the mage who specializes with a particular element reserves the right to use that element. A summoning mage cannot just summon an element that another mage specializes in. Get it?

I'm all for animal / creature summons. As long as it isn't a god mode.

Yeah that's what I thought. I thought Shura was asking if that meant her character would have to be a Fire Element Mage.

i was asking if a summon mage could do it as well. Seeing as how thre are goingto be so many different kinds of mages some are bound to share spells even if they arent of the same contracted type. such as a storm mage having lighting or wind spells same as a lightning mage or a wind mage. At least in my way of thinking. Im just asking cause most of my magic knoledge is based off DnD where wizards of differnet domains still have a few similar if not the same exact spell.

I'm just curious as to Summoning mages them selves because they have the potential to work with anything from insects to dragons to celestial beings, demonic ones and even elementals when they get of a high enough level.

Summoning is the General Description.

The subgenre would be everything else. For example: Summoning - Tiger Elemental.

Ah alright. so you can be a fire mage who still has fire based spells but can specilize in summoning?
Minor fire spells but classified as Summoning - Fire Element.

You can use fire spells but your primary power is your Summoning.

Alright at a beginner level the only thing they could probably summon is like... a fire sprite (somethin the size of an apple) and gradually get stronger?

Elemenals are not all that powerful especially if counteracted by an opposing element. I'm just asking questions now because I like to know what to work towards eventually. Srry if i'm asking too many questions, It's kind of habit because of my experiance with tabletop Rping.

I say, you could summon animals or creatures. Something like a fire elemental would tread on people's feet (mine in specific)

I was under the assumption that a mage specializing in an element already can do summonings. Apart from the other nifty perks the element has.

Im just wondering aboutthe progression of a firemage if speilizing in summons. cause a beginner isn't really goin to be able to summon a massive fire elemental and if they some how do they'd probably loose controle of it which would be bad for everyone.

I'm just figuringout the guidelines and rules about magic now insead of doing soemthing later that will make others angery. Since there is no book on rules of all thing magic I can refer to.

Hey, I have a question about an element choice. Well, first off, would you consider 'blood' to be an element available for use, and if so, would you consider it being a magic that is evil or good? I could see it going both ways, or maybe even a mix depending on how it was used. For instance, if it was good I would imagine it used for more healing purposes or ridding someone of disease and the likes, or something similar. Then again, it would seem more evil in the sense that you could cause someone (Assuming it isn't deemed overpowered to be able to control another person's blood to an extend) to hemorrhage or infect them, etc, cause them some sort of problem or use the blood itself as a weapon and all sorts of things. That, and we were going to go with the old fashioned route for the use of blood magic it would simply be used to power the spells of others or cause certain enchantments.

So basically I'm just going to sum up what I'm asking, would blood be an allowed force of magic, and would it be an 'evil' or 'good', or somewhere in between, type of magic?

If you do accept it, I'll message you ideas for how to make it work without it being over powered and all of that, see if they work, etc., etc.

Controlling someones blood is a definite no. Other than that, you can be creative with Blood but it would be a Void
