Bio: Jamie is a young and very smart girl. She comes from a lower class family of humans. Her mother doesn't work, she was crippled a long time ago by an accident at work, and her father works a small job at a factory line making apple products. They live in a trailer in the ghetto at the moment. It is the only place where they can make rent off of her mothers disability check and her fathers check. She has one older sister, Clair, who is a very successful model, and resents her family for being poor. Clair constantly offers Jamie a chance to live with her, but she always says no. She doesn't have the heart to abandon her mother and father like that.
No one in her family ever had magical abilities, except a long way down the road, where one of her greater grandmothers was known as a 'witch doctor'. Jamie didn't know this until she received an offer from the school for a full ride through it tuition free. Jamie had learned of magic through a school friend in kindergarten. He was just discovering magic him self, and couldn't help but tell. When he did they started to practice behind the school. Jamie was far stronger in magic then him. Eventually he moved, but she had never stopped practicing magic. She hopes at the school to meet this boy.
Jamie has this 'ability' to speak to animals of any kind. At her house she owns a small Scottish terrier. He can get pretty annoying, but he means the best for her. Her magic strong-suit is earth based things. She can cause plants to grow, change the terrain of the ground etc. She can also use most other basic spells. Her favorite is levitation, mostly because it allows her to be lazy.

Name: David Case
Age: 12
Bio: David was raised by a single father who spent most of his time traveling for business. Because of this much of him time was spent with his nanny Emma, but when his father was around he was kind to David. For most of his life David was unaware of magic until one day he walked in on Emma casting a simple charm to close a cut on her finger. Emma panicked and begged him not to tell anyone. He managed to barely keep silent about it when his father was around, but when it was just he and Emma questions would spill from his mouth like a waterfall. His aptitude for magic didn’t show itself until his father came home with a dog as a birthday present from one of his business trips. Emma came into his room one day to see small markings burned into the floor producing butterflies with David in the center of it and Lyka, his puppy, jumping at them. Emma immediately made a few calls and within days of his birthday David got his invitation to Alesium with a partial scholarship.
Appearance: David has light brown hair and emerald green eyes. He is 4’10” and has a fairly standard build. He has a small streak of white in his hair similar in color to Lyka’s fur. He has a small scar on his fore head that reaches from his hairline to his eyebrow which was caused when he fell out of a tree a neighbor’s cat was caught in. He usually keeps his hair long because of it because he get easily embarrassed by unneeded attention

Pets/Familiars: Lyka: A silver wolf pup with one blue and one green eye who was given to David for his birthday. David’s father thinks he is simply a rare breed of dog but he is in fact an enchanted wolf pup who can speak telepathically with David. David’s power is at its peak when Lyka is around and over the past couple of years the two have become nearly inseparable and the two even follow each other when they use the bathroom. Lyka is very helpful and mild mannered and slightly lazy. He enjoys simply curling up and dozing unless David needs him or wants to play with him.

Bio: Dustin born in the heart of New York, was a very bright and kind boy when he was younger. He never seemed to mind small petty things in life that got most people bummed out and sad, heck even at the most hectic of situations Dustin would never frown, or at the very least crack some sorta dry joke to get some spirits up and to make someone else happy.
Dustin almost rarely would have face to face time with his two parents, Dustin was not quite sure why at the time but they would usually catch up and talk with him through phone sometimes even Skype whenever they could but it would never be the same as just talking normally face to face. Dustin's parents assigned Dustin a personal playmate/guardian for Dustin her name was Karina, she was much much older than Dustin maybe in her twenties Dustin would never ask about it though something about her glare whenever Dustin would misbehave told him to never get on her bad side...EVER.
Dustin whenever he was around Six or seven discovered his gift whenever he was in class messing around with shapes he almost instantaneously shot across the room in rows making it go through the walls as if they were sharp throwing stars. Dustin who was called in to the principals office that day was surprisingly congratulated by the principle and his father that day being told that his power had finally awaken, Dustin was taken aback from this at first but he merely smiled happy to make his own father proud of him. Which brings us to the present day where Dustin at age 11 was enrolled by his Father who was also a teacher of the school his mother the nurse,Alesium Academy. Dustin at this time would somewhat have a grasp of his unique magical power of controlling inanimate objects and other things like people for example.

I got so excited to read the outline for the story that I couldn't not pasticipate of this *O*
I'm sorry if I make any mistakes, but please bear with me xD My mother language isn't English, but oh well...
I hope I can get along with you all, if I'm accepted, of course ^^
Here's my character:

Bio: Being the younger member of a family composed only by men, besides her, Herika's mother passed away giving birth to her, leaving her father and her brother to take care of her. Since she was a child she has been able to lift twice her weight in her arms, although it was difficult to lift something above her head. Her father and brother were surprised with this, but treated her with love and many happy memories were made over the years together. She didn't think she could perform magic until she began reading books about magic creatures and such in her old school. Her teachers told her they weren't real, but she liked to thing they were, so she kept on thinking about it anyways.
When she was 7, she and her family moved to another city. Because of this Herika and her brother had to change between schools constantly, for none of her classmates could understand her powers, nor how was possible for a seven year old girl to lift something as heavy as a car above her head to save a cat. She would be isolated of the world, if it wasn't for her kind and cheerful brother, who taught her to be positive but be aware of dangerous things. She is a little shy, though, when meeting someone new, but can be really sarcastic and hot-tempered whenever she's near someone close to her.

Bio: Born into a middle class family of five, Virgil was the youngest of the three of two sisters. With his mother and father, they lived in the upper side of New York. Under the his father's watchful eye, Virgil joined him in studying animals at their local zoo. Starting at six years old, he gain a special kinship with a baby bald-eagle chick.
Having a sharp mind at even at that age, Virgil named his friend 'Dante', as to subtly make the connection to the comedy poem 'Inferno', which his father read to him over and over. About the two brothers dealing through hell together, Virgil felt only the eagle was his real friend.
At seven years, he learned that his mother had a gift of magic. And it had been passed down to him, much to his dismay.
Having spent most of the time near animals, Virgil was apprehensive on joining any sort of sports, groups, or any sort of social activities that had to do with other people. Most of the time his nose is planted in a book, he likes to keep to himself.
As a result, his mind is that of a more quiet, sharp observer of the world around him. Though it a bit cold acting when it comes to speaking his mind, Virgil is anything but. Often misjudged to look angrier than he actually was, it was a common misconception he was not joining social clubs because of his hate for other people, which he does not have. Has a rather odd sense of humor.
Even so, the thought of joining the Alesium Academy thrilled his more yearning mind. The fact he was to become a some sort of magical being was exciting to him.

Bio: Abby was born into a poor family and suffered a pretty hard life early on. Still, that didn't stop her from trying her best in school, seeing as it was the only way to truly please her parents. When she was eleven years old she was with her aunt in town when she blacked out and witnessed the brutal murder of her mother by her father's hands. Scarred and fearful she demanded they return home at once causing them to walk in on her father trying to kill her mother. Thus revealing that Abby had physic abilities. However, with her mother in the hospital and her father in jail that left Abby with only her aunt, whom had little money. It was impossible to send Abby to get the proper training she needed. That was when they found out about Alesium Academy and received a letter saying that Abby could attend there the next year on a scholarship. Before she left for Alesium she was given two blue pendants(I guess they are more like stones...), one a necklace and one for in her hair, that helped her channel the gift she has.
