well dont go in with a pre-determined path for your character.


Back during ww, my character Marco started out as a cynical, snobbish rich kid but with a good heart, by the end he was a bit like Alucard, a merciless, remorseless, unfeeling killing machine who humiliated and tortured his foes, but he fought on the side of the good guys, he became this because of the events during the Rp.


that's what you should do, go in with an established personality and backstory, but let the events of the Rp dictate how your character grows.
 
Your past character seems like... well like a badass... O.o Excuse my French. lol 
Gah O.o I feel bad because I'm writing like novels and I'm pretty sure no one wants to read that much -_- it will die down, I promise. Abby just needs to talk to people lol
 
Hahaha, don't worry Dreamer, at least you are still new, David and Jamie haven't answered Herika since the end of the headmaster's speech :'D I think I might have her run to the dorms, now that you given me an idea, muhahaha xD And about the novel thing, I really do appreciate you are willing to write that much, I try too, but meh...
 
When the words are flowing... they are flowing... there's no stopping it! D: even if I try to... You should have Herika join Abbby ^_^ She's lonely and slightly mental but she's a good girl, really! :D
 
I agree, youngdreamer, Marco does seem like a badass....I can't wait to see what Pandora becomes! >.<
 
if you wanna make an introduction, my character is looking to meet new ppl, he is wandering around the boy's dorms
 
Hahah, no prob Tai, it's just that I'm concerned about this rp, because I've seen an rp die, and it wasn't cool... I'll try as best as I can to keep this alive, be it posting something like what I did (which I don't like to, actually) or not :3 I just hope that you guys give us a warning on future occasions lol (I know I'm not a mod, but oh well xD )

I would like to join if possible... I'm rather new at this whole thing but I love to write and have a wealth of imagination, so if you're willing to deal with my awkwardness for a while until I get in the swing of things I'd really try my best.
 



  • Name: Hikari Smith


    Age: 11


    Bio: At the tender age of five Hikari was found wandering the halls of an orphanage with no recollection of anything before waking up in the attic of said building, a room in which there was but a single, sealed window positioned nowhere near any trees or fences that would assist a person in such a climb. She had in her possession only the clothes on her back and a small, black crystal (about the size and length of her pointer finger) strung on a long leather cord wound twice around her neck. Quite an enigma, the girl was subjected to many therapy sessions and doctor interviews that all ended in inconclusive results and she was labeled as a standard amnesia patient and deemed stable enough to stay at the orphanage for the duration of her abandonment case. After a few months of investigation by the local police the search for her parents ended and Hikari was then officially given to the orphanage to put up for adoption. She spent only a year there and throughout her stay she rarely spoke. Despite her quiet demeanor at the age of six a young couple Aero and Saraphina Smith adopted Hikari and she was taken to their small two story house in the country. She turned out to be a rather bright child and through rigorous home schooling by Aero she was well above her education level by age eight but due to the seclusion of her new home her social skills never grew and she had trouble grasping social norms and etiquette. When she turned nine it was obvious that Hikari was not a normal child. She often would stare off into space, draw detailed pictures lined with peculiar symbols and talk to things that weren’t there. The smiths’ put it down to their daughter having a wonderfully developed imagination and hoped that she would take an interest in art or poetry in later years.


    Unfortunately, they never glimpse her “later year”, art and poetry present or not.


    A few months after her tenth birthday Aero and Saraphina are killed in a car crash while headed into town. Their deaths hit Hikari hard and she withdraws into herself. She refuses to go to the funerals, she refuses to leave the house. After two weeks of her adamant self-imposed isolation a relative of Aeros’ enters the house hoping to convince her to come live with them only to find the girl sitting in her parents room with the window wide open and at least twenty dead birds sprawled around her emaciated form.


    Hikari is sent to a hospital where she spent a full month under intense evaluation. The police couldn’t find cause of death for the birds but it was assumed that Hikari had a psychotic break and killed them out of grief and rage. Having no proof, she is not forced into a mental hospital but instead put on strict suicide watch from her starvation stunt and sent to live with Saraphina’s mother, Savannah who believed in sweeping everything ‘abnormal’ under the rug and kept Hikari house bound for the most part. No matter what Hikari did the woman would either ignore the peculiar parts of it or explain it away in an overly cheery tone, living in her own perfect world.


    A few weeks after her eleventh birthday a letter from “Alesium Academy” comes in the mail, telling of a scholarship for a Hikari Smith. Over joyed, and seeing only what she wanted in the letter, Savannah quickly packs Hikari up to send off to what she calls, ‘A wonderful education opportunity’.
