Wandering Owl
It just matters that someone was listening.
Hopefully we get at least one cop or else my interactions are gonna be limited xD

That's a good idea, plus I want to redo it because of now we actually have an idea what is going on that that post is very bland.
On to other news! Since most of us have created our characters I would like to start the actual rp very soon! But before that can happen I feel like we need to talk about the direction that this rp should go into. When i first thought of this roleplay I had in my mind that I wanted this to be an open world rp. I want this to be plot driven, but yet I want stories to create themselves in the rp. So I have been giving this a lot of thought and what I came up with was a starting point. A point to introduce the families and get the conflict going and hopefully the rp will flow on it's own. I thought this starting point could be about a conflict with the two families. I said before this roleplay will revolve around the two families as they struggle to claim the city as their own. It's the old saying of how this city isn't big enough for the two of us. I would like to create a starting conflict, to get us off into the world. I was thinking either one of the families has land that the other wants or something else that the other wants to claim. Or that one of the families has been intruding on the other one's territory. Theses are just a few ideas that I have come up with and I'm still trying to think of more.
Hopefully this made sense, as I was trying to find a perfect way to tell everyone of my vision of what I wanted this rp to be. If anyone has any suggestions about the rp I am always open to new ideas!
Cool! Once we have the setting you could update the IC post with it.
About the starting conflict, I like it, I don't think there are many other ways to start this off (I mean, two mafia families, cmon). But I also think this can get kinda dull easily, like, I think we could try to come up with a nice backstory as to why the families are competing for land, trafficking routes or whatever is the case, so it doesn't sound like a randomly generated backstory. Maybe a more specific situation, idk, we can brainstorm. I just think it makes it easier to write the first posts, when we have a more concrete situation to base it on.
An idea would be to maybe have the two families in a meeting, trying to agree upon the conflict we create, but something goes wrong and worsens the issue instead of solving it.
