The sun's egregious rays shone upon Mouri's face, blocking her vision of the road she was traveling on. With an annoyed groan she raised a hand to shield her eyes. She really should have brought a hat after all. However, because she deemed the sunhat not suitable for her fashion choice, she rejected the idea, initially. But now that the sun was beating down on her she supposed it wouldn't have been so bad to break her fashion code. But no matter, it would take more than this to make her turn back.Going to>>Noodle shop

"Do you remember where you're going?" A familiar voice inquired. The creature was walking along beside her, gazing up at her with it's large, red eyes.
"Silence, devil. I know where I'm heading." She snapped back. Mouri didn't even bother to look down at the being known as Kyubey. She refused to call it such. Rather, she invented her own nickname for it, the 'devil.' She thought it suited the creature much better. But to her unsurprise the newfound name didn't affect Kyubey much. He(?) let her call him whatever without much fuss, which was no fun for Mouri. He was an actor in this play too, so she expected him to play his part better. Now that she thought about it...Kyubey wouldn't have much interest in plays anyway. Her little companion didn't say anything after their very brief exchange. And Mouri was left to her own vices. Which right now was two things. Finding a magical girl that was supposedly in the area, and...to eat. As much as she dreaded the thought of being caught eating something as simple as ramen, she couldn't go on like this. Roaming across the open road she sighted some buildings in the distance. She picked up the pace a little to get a better look. Unfinished buildings littered the site. These buildings, holding the hopes and dreams of the visionaries behind them, were now but a mere memory that had long since faded. What was all this supposed to be? If Nagazora was the city of psychos then this could have been another city staple for Matsuyama. Aside from this location's tragic history, she was informed that there was a noodle shop around here that she could partake in. This was also where her mystery target was said to be.
Before leaving out this morning she told a small fib to keep her dad off her back. In reality she was obtaining more grief seeds to keep her soul gem from darkening too much. She got to keep the spoils for herself. Such were the perks of being a solo magical girl. However she didn't lose consciousness of what teamwork was. She recalled her time residing in Nagazora. The magical girls there were notorious for being selfish and aggressive. And for the most part they were just that. But she ended up encountering a very...colorful bunch. A self-proclaimed scientist who was able to explode things people have touched, a thief who was fixated on treasure, a narcoleptic girl who was known to kill other magical girls, and an airheaded idiot who seemed way in over her head. She prayed that they wouldn't have any reason to come to Matsuyama. For both her sake and for the sake of the other magical girls here. Speaking of, she had caught wind of some girls going missing in Matsuyama, which was what brought her to be interested in this city. Slashing away at her thoughts like a thin line of paper was the ineffable aroma of food. Following nothing but her stomach and nose she wandered her way to her destination. Upon examining her surroundings her eyes caught the sight of a girl who didn't look like she was past the age of ten sitting alone. Before her trek she had requested Kyubey to tell her the name of who she would be meeting up with. Apparently her name was Agotta Liv. What gave it away was the tall, menacing pretense of a black bird she had seen before, but only in fiction. This had taken her aback greatly. Yet also piqued her interest further. She could already guess as to what this girl must have wished for. And while that did make her solemn in some way, considering her fate has now been sealed, she couldn't focus on that too much, lest she cause her soul gem to darken.
Mouri took a deep breath before trotting over to the young girl. "Salutations, young miss. Would you perhaps be Agotta Liv?" She put on her airs immediately as she sat down across from her. "I go by many names, the rouge extraordinaire, the one who brings salvation, the devil's envoy...but you ought to call me Mouri Kagekazu."
After finishing her introduction she struck a flamboyant pose with her arms, a smirk creeping up in her face. Doing this never got old. The small number of people around them glanced to side at Mouri's dramatic movement, but didn't comment much on it. "I have heard news of some perplexing events occurring in this city. And a little creature told me you may know something about it. Perhaps you know the being I am referring to." She lightly tapped her soul gem, which was resting upon her finger in the form of a ring.
