The sun's egregious rays shone upon Mouri's face, blocking her vision of the road she was traveling on. With an annoyed groan she raised a hand to shield her eyes. She really should have brought a hat after all. However, because she deemed the sunhat not suitable for her fashion choice, she rejected the idea, initially. But now that the sun was beating down on her she supposed it wouldn't have been so bad to break her fashion code. But no matter, it would take more than this to make her turn back.

"Do you remember where you're going?" A familiar voice inquired. The creature was walking along beside her, gazing up at her with it's large, red eyes.

"Silence, devil. I know where I'm heading." She snapped back. Mouri didn't even bother to look down at the being known as Kyubey. She refused to call it such. Rather, she invented her own nickname for it, the 'devil.' She thought it suited the creature much better. But to her unsurprise the newfound name didn't affect Kyubey much. He(?) let her call him whatever without much fuss, which was no fun for Mouri. He was an actor in this play too, so she expected him to play his part better. Now that she thought about it...Kyubey wouldn't have much interest in plays anyway. Her little companion didn't say anything after their very brief exchange. And Mouri was left to her own vices. Which right now was two things. Finding a magical girl that was supposedly in the area, and...to eat. As much as she dreaded the thought of being caught eating something as simple as ramen, she couldn't go on like this. Roaming across the open road she sighted some buildings in the distance. She picked up the pace a little to get a better look. Unfinished buildings littered the site. These buildings, holding the hopes and dreams of the visionaries behind them, were now but a mere memory that had long since faded. What was all this supposed to be? If Nagazora was the city of psychos then this could have been another city staple for Matsuyama. Aside from this location's tragic history, she was informed that there was a noodle shop around here that she could partake in. This was also where her mystery target was said to be.

Before leaving out this morning she told a small fib to keep her dad off her back. In reality she was obtaining more grief seeds to keep her soul gem from darkening too much. She got to keep the spoils for herself. Such were the perks of being a solo magical girl. However she didn't lose consciousness of what teamwork was. She recalled her time residing in Nagazora. The magical girls there were notorious for being selfish and aggressive. And for the most part they were just that. But she ended up encountering a very...colorful bunch. A self-proclaimed scientist who was able to explode things people have touched, a thief who was fixated on treasure, a narcoleptic girl who was known to kill other magical girls, and an airheaded idiot who seemed way in over her head. She prayed that they wouldn't have any reason to come to Matsuyama. For both her sake and for the sake of the other magical girls here. Speaking of, she had caught wind of some girls going missing in Matsuyama, which was what brought her to be interested in this city. Slashing away at her thoughts like a thin line of paper was the ineffable aroma of food. Following nothing but her stomach and nose she wandered her way to her destination. Upon examining her surroundings her eyes caught the sight of a girl who didn't look like she was past the age of ten sitting alone. Before her trek she had requested Kyubey to tell her the name of who she would be meeting up with. Apparently her name was Agotta Liv. What gave it away was the tall, menacing pretense of a black bird she had seen before, but only in fiction. This had taken her aback greatly. Yet also piqued her interest further. She could already guess as to what this girl must have wished for. And while that did make her solemn in some way, considering her fate has now been sealed, she couldn't focus on that too much, lest she cause her soul gem to darken.

Mouri took a deep breath before trotting over to the young girl. "Salutations, young miss. Would you perhaps be Agotta Liv?" She put on her airs immediately as she sat down across from her. "I go by many names, the rouge extraordinaire, the one who brings salvation, the devil's envoy...but you ought to call me Mouri Kagekazu."

After finishing her introduction she struck a flamboyant pose with her arms, a smirk creeping up in her face. Doing this never got old. The small number of people around them glanced to side at Mouri's dramatic movement, but didn't comment much on it. "I have heard news of some perplexing events occurring in this city. And a little creature told me you may know something about it. Perhaps you know the being I am referring to." She lightly tapped her soul gem, which was resting upon her finger in the form of a ring.

Komi didn't look at Aza, keeping her gaze on where Ciel had dissappeared to waiting for her return. She wasn't really in the mood for shooting the shit with her while waiting, and her mention of how they weren't exactly heading into a fight any time soon only soured things further. If she were still riding high on that hype train Agotta had set her on earlier, maybe she'd be more pissed with ole Red, maybe she'd feel that she'd wasted her time.

But after hearing about her wish, Komi just felt down.

She nodded along to her words, only looking over to her when she mentioned needing to test out whatever Ciel's ability was. Her mention for the witches made from girls hearing that stale revelation only made Komi shake her head, but she offered Aza a smile anyway whilst drumming her fingers along Fenrir as she gestured with her other hand.

"Poke-Girl mentioned the whole hunting it stuff, wanted me to catch you up on things but I figured you had it handled."
Komi thought about something before tapping at her lip "Pretty sure she also said something else but... I was kinda riding high on that monster stuff at that point so-"

It was then that Ciel returned, with Komi's sentence drying up as she burst in with an Agotta-Style wall of speech that overwrote the previous topic of conversation pretty much instantly. However, Komi almost instantly recognized that, whatever magic power she'd used, it had provided her with insight on what gotta and Nozomi had gotten up to. Main problem there being that Komi had already gotten the spiel from Agotta earlier.

Without even realizing it, Komi launched into her automatic response at pretty much the same time Aza had, just nodding and giving passing comments as she spoke whilst letting her mind travel to whether she was too bummed out to ramp that map or not. When she finally stopped, Komi let Aza handle her questions, seemed something that fit her wheelhouse more after all. Only commenting when she looked back to her.

"I can confirm all o' that, pretty much what Poke-Girl told me point for point. Though you prolly got a better handle on it since I couldn't listen to everything she said." Komi lowered her hand as Aza confirmed they were done with their little experiment, frowning as she mentioned fighting the cops.

"Pfft, Cops aren't for fighting, they're for helping you pull some awesome street chases." she snickered before poking at her head "Duh."

She let her hand fall again before giving a shrug "Not like I'm really in the mood for that though." she frowned at that before looking away "Seriously, over here reminding me what pity feels like and not expecting me to need one hell of a relief meal? Here I was thinking we were practically sisters."

She snickered at that before stepping closer to Aza and clapping her on the shoulder, "Gotta go meet the little squirt at the noodle place anyway." she said before leaning close "Might wanna steer clear seein as you and them ain't exactly on solid ground at the moment."

Tossing Fenrir on the ground, she backed towards it as it transformed into its bike form, "But hey, you can summarize things for me when they actually get interesting." she said whilst hopping on the back and crossing her legs "You know, keep our relationship nice and healthy."

She held up a peace sign as Fenrir started up and drover her off, "Peace girlies, don't miss me too much!"

She didn't turn around for a while on her bike as it sped away from Uranami station on its own accord. Instead, Komi frowned once she was out of sight and just leaned forward until her head was resting against her palm. She could control Fenrir without having to directly grasp its handles, allowing her to sit in a contemplative pose for some time until they swerved back onto a main road, and Komi reminded herself how little she reason she had for stressing out over things. But despite that she couldn't help thinking on Aza's wish, despite how much she wanted to get back to what really mattered.

Shaking her head, she spun around and grasped Fenrir's handles just in time to do a wheelie up a raised road and sail off onto another street. She didn't have time to mull over anything, she had a Pokémon obsessed little lady to meet up with after all.

bd7b145ff2a98274c571c8c9735694fc.jpgAgotta sat there in silence at the noodle shop, time passing by pretty slowly for her as she waited for Komi. She was capable, even if she met the monster she likely wouldn't... Oh, who was she kidding? Not herself, that's for sure. She saw what it did to a regular human being. With Bellstar being a witch shaped by Anri's curses after fighting it, the story must not differ too much with magical girls. Thinking about it made her shutter. Anri had to deal with... She put her head down into her arms on the table. The employee asked if was doing OK, to which she passively said she was fine. Curiosity killed the cat, and it fancied her its next victim. None of this would be happening to her if she didn't get herself involved. If she had just taken her parent's offer to stay home Friday morning she'd be OK. She'd never have fought Bellstar, made the connection between it and Anri, or have gotten the bright idea to steal security camera footage and drag the innocent guard into this. She was surely too deep now. Even if she somehow backed out of it, she'd constantly be looking over shoulder for some monster that she didn't know the appearance of, much less its capabilities. She shouldn't be wallowing in self pity like this. She's nine years old! She should be playing with Anri at one of their houses. Anri was nine too and yet... she...

Agotta's thoughts were interrupted by a feminine voice. She picked her head up and looked around to spot an older girl. Before she could say anything, the stranger had sat down across from her and began to do what she believed was an introduction, standing up to strike a pose. What was with this weird stranger? How'd she know her name? Why did she act like this? She had tapped on a ring on her finger, and suddenly it all made sense. This random stranger was a fellow magical girl, and she likely got her name from a Kyubey. Her behavior was probably because of her status as a magical girl too. "Um... Hello, miss..." Agotta had already forgotten her name. "Miss uh... Extraordinary Rouge... What brings you here?" She asked before realizing what her being a magical girl entailed. "Nevermind... Listen miss, there's a monster out in this city somewhere. It's not a witch or a familiar, no matter what anybody says. It's... It's a monster. I don't know anything about it for sure, but... I believe it tracks magical girls. It... It got my best friend, and chased me and another friend around without us even knowing. It killed a security guard... It killed two of my familiars as well, and it scared off the other one." She pointed over to Corviknight. "That's how I managed to avoid it, actually... But, that's besides the point. You said Kyubey told you to come to me? I think he wants you to help with this monster problem... But... It's up to you. If I were in your shoes, I wouldn't help me... The monster... It's exactly that... It... Well... Have you ever seen a nature documentary? It tore up the security guard like... Like some wild animal... When it fought my friend, whatever it did was so brutal that... All the agony she must've felt... It made an entire witch." She was barely holding back tears at this point. "I hope I'm not... making you sad, too, but... I'm sure Kyubey wants you involved in this. I want you to know what you're getting into." She wiped her eyes and looked around. "I was waiting on a friend to discuss a plan for hunting the monster, but... She hasn't gotten here yet. If you're willing to wait, you can join us for supper and talking about all this. If you're new I can tell you about the magical girls I've met. You seem friendly... You probably saw Corviknight, but you didn't attack him, so I believe I can trust you." She looked around, and then heard a familiar sound. A rather loud engine seemed to be getting louder and louder. "That must be my friend." She looked around, and when she saw Komi she waved to her.

Kousaka_Honoka_ALL_STARS.pngAfter giving Aza the full explanation of what she knew, she told her about the girls involved. Some child and someone her own age. That'd explain why the second tallest was still pretty short, but what the hell was a child doing stealing security camera footage? She mentioned some kind of vanishing. It only occurred to Ciel how little she knew about what was happening around here. She definitely should've asked Aza what she was jumping into before she blindly charged into this whole ordeal. Eh, she's an old friend, so it's all good. She suggested fighting the cops that may or may not be looking for them to Komi. This girl must be a real hot head, huh? She seemed to be good at heart, at least, opting to lead police chase... On her skateboard. Apparently everything Aza said bummed her out. It was a better reaction than some girls she's seen. She began to leave, telling them to call her when things got interesting. Her skateboard had transformed into a motorcycle and she drove away. "No promises, hotshot!" She yelled, waving goodbye to Komi. "I can see why you wanted to drag her into this. She definitely seems like she's got potential. I wouldn't lose to her, though." Ciel commented, before she started walking the same way Komi had left. "I think it's time I get to ask questions, don'tcha think, Azamuku? Like, first of all, why am I here? It seems you already knew about the whatever the fifth is, so I don't think I'm here for that. Let's see..." She put her hand on her chin in contemplation. "You mentioned some kinda vanishing, right? What's that all about, huh? Komi said you and the little girl you two mentioned earlier aren't getting along. How did you manage to get a child to dislike you? You can give them candy and you've already cemented yourself as their friend. I can't tell whether that's an accomplishment or you're just an awful person. Though, considering we're friends, I guess I gotta say good job." Ciel rubbed her belly. "We got anything else to do, or can we go eat? I'm so hungry that if I see one of your little Kyubey friends I might confuse him for sushi." She had no real intentions to eat one of the terminals, but she was indeed hungry. "If we've got anything else to do I wanna stay at your place for the night. I really don't feel like traveling all the way back to Masaki tonight, y'know?"

For now Aza just ignored Komi she both wanted and didn't want pity, the only thing she had to pity was that she knew far to much she could never be ignorant again and thus was bound to the cycle. What mattered was that Komi was leaving for now which meant they could get to the actual investigation even if they did in a way lose some of the fire power that she brought. The noodle place was out even though Aza already knew that as she could see what the terminals saw and thus was watching every magical girl around from a hidden position. She would be in on every plan , not that she cared what they were going to do, but she did see Mouri arrive and find Agotta. It was easier to let all the malcontents form their own little circle to hunt down the small fry while she got to work on the real issue. Ciel talking only registered latter as Aza was split in to many places and in to many thoughts to fully be where her body was. It took Aza a bit to fully register what Ciel was saying and she had one thign to say first.

" First things first Just call me Aza, my full name is bringing back memories I had to take out Shinri so I am not exactly in the mood" Aza said being honest about what she had needed to do " She discovered thing and right now we can't afford the secrets getting out, I gave her every chance to just promise to stay quiet" Aza explained knowing she was just making excuses for her murder.

Aza Closed her eyes pinched the bridge of her noise and straightened up with a deep breath getting focused once more. " Yes there was an event where the magical girls of this city decided to escape the cycle and vanished. Kyubey was looking into it but could only figure out that they turned into witches or something. We aren't entirely sure and thing have been acting oddly these days after their little ritual. That is why you are are here, while I could easily use your ability myself the situation is not dire enough and I could use back up as bodies are a little annoying to replace constantly" Aza explained keeping it mostly simple as that was what they knew " With you we can figure out the specifics of the ritual and find out what if anything went wrong. The fifth is a result or likely result of the botched ritual and I do not want more of them running around"

" Agotta is another issue she has let doubt creep into her might thanks to Nozomi and because I do not grieve the right way I am the bad guy" Aza said barely able to keep her annoyance in check right now " She is oh so concerned that one security guard died she expects me to break down about it. Death happens and it will always happen I am to mourn every stranger? Needless to say a nine year old doesn't like when she is told the truth, and the little idiot thinks the fifth there killed her friend when she was the first witch the little girl fought. " Aza said getting a rather evil idea about how to use that before blinking and coming to her senses, she tried to help magical girls not make them witches before their time.

" Anyways moving on with noodles out how about we go get fast food and you will be staying at my apartment, it was going to serve as a base for the girls but well this all happened and i doubt they will want to see someone so inhuman as myself for awhile" Aza finished knowing just how much she had lost when it came to being human and finding herself more and more unable to ground herself without others around her.

She excused the misremembering of her name. After all she did overload her with a lot of information right off the bat. Mouri released herself from her pose and promptly sat back down in time to take into consideration what Agotta had to say. The smirk that had been on her face faded as she went on. An unknown monster that has been possibly tracking magical girls? This was something beyond her league, surely. Yet... "Who do you take me for? Of course I'm going to aid you. Simply leaving things as they are would leave a terrible imprint on my consciousness. I just moved out of a city full of monsters, and I would not like to experience it again." She still agreed to it despite Agotta's words. She had no reason to think she could be lying, as indicated by her being on the verge of tears. It was clear that she was distraught. Even with her bad experiences in Nagazora she couldn't bring herself to just leave this issue alone. "If we are all sealed by this tragic fate then the least we can do is unite together." Mouri extended her hand and gently placed it on Agotta's head, petting her lightly. Mouri's lips curled into a small, assuring smile. it wasn't going to make all those painful feelings go away, but she hoped she could bring some comfort to her. After a brief moment she retracted her hand. She didn't understand why, but she felt an urge to protect her.

Perhaps it was a quirk of being an older sibling. "And...I'm sorry for your loss. No one your age should have to go through that." Realizing her increasing amount of mushiness she cleared her throat some and regained her persona. "Moving onwards...you mentioned a certain companion is aiding you in this hunt?" As if right on que, her question was answered with the sound of a roaring engine increasing in volume. Something seemed to be approaching them at a rather alarming speed. She split half of her attention on the supposed arrival of her friend.

She was admittedly feeling alleviated from the constant pressure she faced, always having to look behind her back just in case she was to be attacked by a witch, a magical girl, or in some cases, both. And being trusted without any ulterior motives was a welcome change of pace. "Guidance will not be necessary." She prided herself when it came to memory. As if cutting out a freeze frame image, she took a gander at her surroundings and mentally repeated some key phrases she came up with to describe the appearance of the things around. "Though the names of the other Devil's envoys would be appreciated." Continuing that train of thought she asked "How many have you spotted so far?" Overpopulation only became an issue when the magical girls started lashing out at each other. However because of the strangeness surrounding this city it seemed less likely for that to occur.

Mouri had been dreading it, but since she was sitting here she supposed she could order something. "If need be, I can cover your order." She paused for a moment. "Do not expect it to be a common occurrence, however." She raised her arm and snapped her fingers twice, gaining the attention of one of the staff members.

Komi figured something was amiss almost the second the noodle shop was in sight.

It wasn't the fact that she'd spotted Agotta hanging out with someone she hadn't mentioned when she'd set up this whole meeting, nor was it the fact her new pal was completely unfamiliar to Komi. No, her concern was born of a deeper familiarity with the different tone that wafted through the air as she slowed to a stop. As Fenrir transformed into its skateboard state and practically leaped into Komi's outreaching hand, she couldn't help but take a whiff of the air around them.

But her confusion was alleviated from the second she heard this new girl speak. Komi's eyes lowered as a bunch of flowery prose spilled from the lips of Agotta's companion, eventually she had to close them entirely to give a sigh before making her way over.

She hooked one of Fenrir's wheels on the edge of the open seat on Agotta's other side, leaning against the counter with her head on one hand as she watched the new girl question Agotta over spotting envoys and offering to cover her order.

"Gotta take her up on the offer, hon." Komi shrugged as she gave Agotta a brief side-glance "If ya learn anything from Ole Auntie Komi, it better be unleashing your inner opportunist."

She raised a hand to casually gesture towards the same staff member the newbie had called over just to signal that she was ready to order, leaning back in her seat once he nodded to her. The timing felt too coincidental to her, Aza bringing in her friend from out of town and suddenly a whole other magical girl showing up as well? Glancing over to look the girl up and down a few times, Komi wondered if it was just one of those days where coincidences and oddball timing became the norm.

But then she realized how dumb and boring wondering was and decided to just get to the asking part.

"Seriously, everybody out here inviting all their friends over all of a sudden." Komi murmured before leaning back and looking to Agotta with a suspicious grin "She get the drop on you or was you plannin' on hookin' me up with someone from the very start?"

bd7b145ff2a98274c571c8c9735694fc.jpgShe sighed in relief at the stranger's agreement to help her. "Y-Yes, sticking together is important." She said. She tried a bit to resist the older girl patting the top of her head, but reasoned it'd be rude and let her go ahead. She sympathized with Anri's death as well, which made her quite happy. This new girl seemed pretty good. "Oh, my friend Miss Komi is gonna help me fight the monster. She's riding a motorcycle which you can probably hear." Mouri began to ask about "the Devil's Envoys" which confused her, though. "Uh... The what? I don't understand." Mouri began offering to pay for her order as Komi had arrived. "Um.. No, I-" Agotta began reaching into her pockets. She had gotten some money from her parents for this exact meeting, but Komi interrupted her before she could bring it out. "Thank you, Miss... Mouri." She finally remembered the girl's name. Komi asked how she met Mouri. "Um.. N-no, I'm not planning to hook you up!" The only definition she knew for that term was dating related. "She just showed up a couple of minutes ago.. I think Kyubey sent her, but she's not bad. She didn't attack Corviknight upon seeing it, so..." Agotta trailed off. She didn't know how to possibly put into words that Mouri made her feel safe. The waiters had arrived at the table, and Agotta flipped through the menu, being the last to order. Again, she wanted to get something small, and again, her stomach beat her mind. She ordered Chicken Tonkatsu with fried rice. Back to the conversation, she thought about what Mouri had said.

"Devil's envoys? You mean people with Kyubey? Um... Well, there's this one named Aza, and she... She's like the opposite of you, I think... She seems like she doesn't feel feelings. We were mean to each other on the train this morning, and I haven't seen her since.. I want to apologize to her at some point, but..." She sighed. "If I had to say anybody I know was with kyubey, it's her.. Whenever she transforms, she becomes a big Kyubey. She even has the ability to make soul gems brighter.. Besides her and miss Komi, there's another magical girl I know of. Miss Nozomi is a ninja, and also a friend. She helped me find out about the monster and all that, and she agreed to help me fight it, and-" Agotta was going to say that she might come here too, but... "I forgot to ask her to come here and talk with me and Miss Komi..." She looked a bit sad. "Well, I guess I can tell her whatever plan we come up with here..." Agotta paused for a second, thinking. "Hmm... I think it'd be good to learn about the monster first.. It beat my friend Anri even thought she shot it a bunch of times with magical guns, so it must be stronger than one magical girl. With four of us, we probably have a very good chance, but we still don't know what it does... Mainly, though, it seems to appear and disappear very quickly, so it might be best to have a plan to fight it upon meeting it.. In which case, we should compile all we know so that we can make some guesses..." She paused for a second, this time inhaling deeply. It wasn't for a torrent of words, but to force out something hard to say. "It... murdered the security guard... I saw his body, and... It seems that however it fights is really messy and vicious and painful... It hurt Anri so much she... she made an... entire witch out of her curses..." Agotta was again on the verge of tears. "I think... we should all be prepared for that to happen to us... just in case..." She wiped her eyes and blew her nose on some of the napkins the employees gave them. "I'm- Sorry... Do either of you know anything..?"

Kousaka_Honoka_ALL_STARS.png"Sh- Shinri?!" Ciel looked on in shock. She had met Shinri before through Aza, and the girl had registered in her mind as one of Aza's friends. Aza and Shinri got along quite well, and had a lot of similarities. She stopped seeing much of either of them when she moved out of her parent's house. When the thoughts of them creeped into her mind on occasion, she had hoped the two were doing well. Alas, it seemed that such things were deemed an unnecessary luxury for Aza against her will. Shinri being dead is one thing, but Aza had to kill her with her own hands? Ciel waited to hear everything else Aza had to say before doing anything. So the old magical girls disappeared out of nowhere while trying to escape the cycle and now everything's weird. She'd assume they succeeded if not for the monster that was raving the intercity. After hearing Aza's plans, Ciel reached her arms out and dragged her friend into a hug. "If you're not human, then why are you the perfect shape for this, huh?" She began to pat Aza softly on her back, much in contrast to her gorilla-like hold. "I know the feeling of having to kill another girl all too well. You remember, right? When you told our original group the big secret, Shanty went crazy and attacked me. It all happened so fast, that in one moment we were all next to each other and then all of a sudden she was dead." Ciel tried incredibly hard to suppress the grin that tried crawling onto her face. "If you can't tell, I don't blame you for what happened. I blame her for lying about being ready for that secret." She let go of Aza. "I know you care in your own way. If it makes you feel any better, I won't blame you if I'm next, either." Ciel admitted, sincerely. "Of course, I won't go down without a fight if it ever comes to that, so you better find a shield before that day ever comes!" She winked, and then began to walk off.

"I saw both a Yoshinoya and a McDonald's on the bus, which one sounds better? I'll let you pick. That includes any place you know of, too." Ciel hoped that Aza never knew or wouldn't remember everything that happened in their last encounter with their old friend shanty. The deepest secret she held, one that terrified her more than becoming a witch at the end of her life, was about herself. The malicious grin she hid by facing the other way, and the urge to crush Aza in her arms before she had to let go were the direct cause of it. She didn't secretly hate Aza or anything, it's just... When she fought Shanty in a life or death struggle, something inside her clicked. During that fight, she felt more alive than she ever had as a human. The joy she felt from that sickened her, but the feeling she got whenever she thought of it was exhilarating. The week after she had reasoned a human couldn't possibly feel how she did. Perhaps that's why she didn't mind Aza's status.

With the staff's attention still remaining on them Mouri placed her order too. A simple bowl of nabeyaki udon was enough for her.
"Another envoy of the devils'? It seems in a cruel twist of fate the gods have pitied me, for my search is becoming increasingly effortless. Upon whom do I have the pleasure of speaking to? Miss Komi, was it? I go by many names, but you however may call me Mouri Kagekazu. Charmed, I'm sure." Though she kept her introduction brief her theatrics did not get thrown to the wind, as she could be seen striking another pose--though not nearly as dramatic as last time. Her smirk returned albeit in a less amusing state. "As the young miss has stated, I was sent by that wretched creature because of my curiosity. "Pray tell, what is your last name? I feel unusual addressing strangers by just their first name." Calling someone by their first name with such familiarity usually indicated a sort of closeness--a closeness she did not feel towards the newly arrived girl. Mouri peered at the one named Komi, taking in the details she was able to discern while she was sitting there in her line of sight. Everything down to her clothing choice, her speech, her body language, it showcased her personality and what she was all about without her really needing to spell it out. Before her were two people who differed greatly in personality, yet still somehow are able to work together with what she could presume was somewhat successful teamwork. It was far more she could say then what she had seen before.
From the way Agotta's hands reached into her pockets as if she was about to fish something out, Mouri figured she had been granted some money by her parents. However before she could present her answer the blonde girl interrupted, proposing she take the opportunity while Mouri's generosity was still present. She crossed her arms across her abdomen as she began to open her mouth to speak again. "Need I remind you, my generosity can only stretch so much. I dearly hope you do not expect me to do this in the feature, miss Komi."

Agotta went on to list the various magical girls she encountered, and her current relationships with them. "Hm..interesting. A magical girl with the ability to become a Kyubey?" Her interest was beyond piqued with this mysterious Aza person. If what she was saying was true then she could be a very reliable asset. However she did find it difficult to manage an actual Kyubey hybrid. She took a guess at how that would affect her. She supposed that would mean in some way her mind would be linked with one of the Kyubeys. Would she start thinking like none too? Based on what she heard from Agotta, the thought was plausible. What was maybe the most peculiar thing to Mouri was why she would want that. Was she that interested in them? Did she want to know their secrets too? She would have to save these burning questions for later, as the food arrived shortly after. As the food was set down a plume of steam wafted into the air. The aroma was magnetizing to her senses--especially her stomach. Besides Aza there was one more she mentioned. Another magical girl by the name of Nozomi, who was mysterious in her own right. But she would have to investigate her further another time. Preferably when she was here. "Humph. How crude of you." was all she said in response to Komi's line of being hooked up with someone. Mouri got her legs in a cross position while sitting and was not going to break that position for a while.
The young girl's next string of words were hard for her to get out, but Mouri understood the importance of them. "I concur with this notion. We mustn't rush in blindly, lest we want to rush our deaths. I've only heard of some snippets of information so far. Perhaps you have more intel than I do, miss Komi?"

Aza was a bit more aware of the dark side of Ciel than she might let on, it was another good reason to bring her. She didn't know Ciel's exact thoughts or feelings but the smile told her she at least managed to find some dark joy in ending another. Really if was something Aza could see Komi one day figuring out a fight for your was a thrill that was not uncommon among veteran girls. Still Aza could not tell how much was a true enjoyment and how much might be the human mind trying to shield itself from pain. Aza did not expect Ciel would try to kill her, the girl knew there would be not fun in killing someone who simply stepped into other bodies. There was no thrill of life and death for Aza as she just let her bodies die not pretending to care about them.

" Yes I do remember that, really I should have allowed the group to discover it as most do" Aza said showing no trace of doubt or any ill will towards Ciel. Aza needed to sympathy and reminder of what she had been before her wish. Humanity always seemed so distant yet so close, Aza just saw in to big a picture and through to many eyes, heard through to many ears to remember what it was to be one being. Even now as she spoke with Ciel here she was with the terminal hidden and watching the girls in the noodle shop listening into what they planned.

Aza debated telling Ciel about her grin and that killing her would be as pointless as killing a single ant when it came to a nest of them. " Fighting you I would just stall, better to get the energy of your transformation and grief seed than to kill you" Aza half joked she didn't know what she would do if she fought Ciel, though she doubted she would lose and Aza doubted she would have to do so. Really she had only fought Shinri because of the delicate situation normally those that wanted to tell others were free to do so.

" Any ways I doubt we will come to blows, so lets go get some fast food" Aza said holding her hand out " I will get us there in seconds"

Whoever this new girl was, she was definitely raised on theatrics.

Though Komi could see some of Aza's wording as eccentric mostly because of how long-winded and complex some of her lectures could be, this Mouri girl had her beat in sheer over exxageration by a mile. Komi never knew getting someone's name could be such an event, but with all the posturing and flair it definitely seemed like that was the intent the newest Magical Girl was going for. On questioning of her last name, Komi actually managed to draw her attention away from the staff member approaching her.

She raised an eyebrow at the admittance that miss performer greatly preferred calling people by their last names. Komi couldn't help but sigh at that, the hassle of learning of Aza's wish momentarily drowned out by just how much of a target Mouri had just painted on her. Komi just couldn't follow through with a request like that if given in such a way, it was just too much of a golden opportunity to pass up on.

Instead she placed her order: Onigiri, and lots of it.

Smirking at the way Mouri seemed to take offense at the idea of her generosity being taken advantage of, Komi didn't hesitate to pull out a ratty wallet from her jacket and start pulling out money to cover her meal. She'd ordered far too many Onigiri for one person to eat, at least one of each the Shop offered, but she'd been determined to eat away her concern for Aza one way or another and she wasn't about to be stopped by the surprise appearance of their seventh magical girl.

However, she found the bills inside the wallet lacking, and frowned before tucking it away and pulling out a second wallet to finish matching the balance.

All the while, Agotta spoke of her outing with Nozomi, filling in the new girl while subjecting Komi to yet another retelling of what had gone on last night. Komi felt as though she'd heard it enough times and from enough angles to know more of the situation than those who had been through it, and was easily able to tune Agotta out whilst keeping track of Mouri's reactions to it. Most of them seemed centered on the other magical girls, Aza in particular getting a comment of disbelief at someone being part Kyubey in some manner.

Komi just rolled her eyes and let the platter of Onigiri bring her back to what really mattered.

She chowed down as Agotta finished her retelling, going through her assembly of Onigiri until she could barely think about Aza or Anri or any of the other As that had been taking up her time recently. It was just her and the new source of energy that would be fueling her next battle, or race or stunt or whatever the hell she got into after this meet and greet was over. She had just finished Onigiri number seven when Agotta finished, managing to convince Mouri that the whole patient and cautious route was optimal.

Komi just shook her head whilst biting through Onigiri Number Eight when Mouri spoke up asking if Komi had more intel.

"I damn well better." Komi devoured the rest of Onigiri Eight before jerking a thumb towards herself, "I've heard all about last night like three or four times now, hasn't really changed much, Moka."

Turning in her seat, she gestured to Mouri, "Everyone around these parts seems keen on overcomplicating shit, so lemme keep this basic, as it should be." She raised one finger and began counting off

"All O' Matsuyama's old magical girls blink out at once. The Kyubey Crew get me and the girls to replace them. One of those old MGs happened to be pals with Pipsqueak over here. Turns out she got jumped by some kinda super familiar magical monster thing or whatever. Its still going ham from the sounds of it. We gotta kick its ass eventually." Komi paused to grab Onigiri Nine and began devouring that as well, speaking in between bites "And if I see it first ya'll are gonna have to race to join in on the beatdown I'mma serve it."

Onigiri Nine was gone by the time she swung her legs back around to face the remainder of her meal, with Komi looking through the last three Onigiri indecisively for a moment. She tapped the toe of her shoe against the corner several times before picking one and biting into it, leaning back in her seat as she did so.

"And if ya really wanna get up in ole Aza's grill you might wanna wait a day or two, Moka." Komi casually waved her free hand about as Onigiri ten succumbed to her hunger "She's out hanging with her gal pal right now and was in an even worst mood than usual, doubt you'll get much more than a heated stare until she's had some R&R."

At the dismissal of her request Mouri watched on in slight awe as Komi placed her order. Though to her this seemed more like she was paying for a family-sized meal and eating it all by herself. To her relief, she decided to pay for it herself. A true hero to Mouri's wallet. She wasn't sure if eating such an amount of food was commonplace, or if this was a one-off thing. Whilst Mouri ate her food at a leisurely pace, she noted that Komi ate in a less than charming manner, which she detested quite a lot.

Her previous statement about her new acquaintance being crude was only amplified by the observations at present. However her response came with its own damning evidence. Only when she started cursing did she respond.
"Quite the tongue you have. Do be careful with it." She muttered. It wasn't like she was above swear words, considering she did it occasionally herself. But she drew the line when kids were around her. Though a quick glance towards Agotta contradicted what she was warning Komi about, as she didn't appear phased by it at all.

The other thing, besides the swearing, was the unwarranted nickname she received despite being clear about what she should be called. Mouri abruptly stopped eating, quickly slurping up the last remaining noodle that she caught between her chopsticks. "I recall only giving you permission to address me by my real name, Miss Komi."
This wasn't the first time someone had stuck to calling her by some nickname they made up, and at this point she supposed it wouldn't be the last. Putting that aside for now she listened intently to the information she revealed, basically the complete opposite of what Komi was doing earlier. The disappearance segment was accurate to what she had heard. "You have the dining etiquette of a pig, miss Komi. Please take care not to choke." Her tone wasn't layered with any annoyance or anger, rather a standard 'ye old English' playful tone.

Mouri somewhat did agree with her wanting to keep things basic. Unfortunately her life is far from it, and as a result she can't be simple even when she wants to. Upon hearing a simplified retelling of Anri's unfortunate demise in one swift motion her eyes briefly gazed at Agotta in concern then swept over to Komi. She latched onto her statement about the beatdown of their mystery monster. "You shall witness my true power in battle, as-"
The girl suddenly halted her conversation as another one poured in. A group of familiar looking girls could be seen walking and laughing with each other. Their abrasive tones fractured any sort of atmosphere that was built up between the three magical girls. Mouri shifted in her seat slightly, bouncing her eyes between the approaching group of girls and her food.

The group walked by without saying a word about her. However one did catch a glance at her--their leader. All she gave was a smirk in her general direction before turning her attention back to her friends. When passing by Komi she silently morphed her hand into the shape of a phone, signaling for her to call her soon. No doubt she was a fan of the various stunts she pulled off. As soon as they left her line of view she breathed out a low sigh of relief. She didn't leave time for her anxiety to fester. Instead she bounced back into her persona as if nothing happened. Or at least tried to. "...Perhaps you have seen them before. I recall overhearing them talk about you before. But only in brief. As I was saying, my aid can be potent in battle."

bd7b145ff2a98274c571c8c9735694fc (1).jpgAgotta had barely noticed her food had arrived as all the attention she could muster was focused onto Komi. She had heard of what happened too? From who? She listened intently to what Komi had to say. So all of the magical girls before them vanished, and Anri did indeed have a run-in with the monster, or the "super familiar magical monster" as Komi called it. Agotta had been holding onto a faint sliver of hope that Anri was still alive. Maybe very hurt and probably traumatized by fighting the monster, but still alive. It seemed that strand she had been holding onto dissipated into the endless expanse of darkness that seemed to hang over Agotta's shoulders nowadays. It seemed that there was nothing she could do. Anri was... Dead... She had subconsciously refrained from thinking this, but now that floodgate and the one on her eyes had been opened. Tears began to well up in her eyes, and fell down onto her food. She moved the plate of fried rice and tonkatsu to the side, and put her head down on the table. She didn't want to believe it, but she felt like it was the only acceptable answer to what had happened to her. There was no way she could've gotten away from it... All of the magical girls before them... They were... They were all...

"Kill it." A voice said in her head. "Never let it hurt another person ever again. Kill it." She suddenly stopped crying. The suggestion to slay the monster bringing her so much grief was the only thing she could think of.

"Kill it..." She murmered. She slowly lifted her head off of the table. "Miss Mouri... I don't think I'll be able to follow our plan. When I see that thing... I'm probably going to explode..." She was visibly shaking with rage at this point. As some kind of mental last resort, she had started to get angry instead of more sad. Her muscles tensed up. "Komi..." She had dropped the honorific. "That piece of crap monster..." She used the worst swear word she knew. "It's gotta die." Her face was still red and a bit wet from crying seconds before. She grabbed her plate of food and began eating. She knew that finding it and especially fighting it would be much easier on a full stomach. She sat there and angrily ate her food, yet still cleaner and more neatly than Komi ate her onigiri.

Kousaka_Honoka_ALL_STARS.pngCiel chuckled at Aza's statement of just stalling until she became a witch. "I wouldn't fight you because you're no fun." She stated. "OoooOOOooo, I'm Aza! I'm a big bummer who fights people with an overwhelming advantage and still doesn't meet them head on!" She said in a stupid voice, as if she were a five year old trying to hurt another child's feelings. Of course, the real reason she wouldn't fight Aza was that she was her good friend, but embellishing the truth alright for jokes. She tilted her head and cocked her brow when Aza offered and hand and claimed that they'd get where they wanted to go in mere seconds. "What? Are we gonna lock arms and start dancing and chanting to get where we wanna go? Are we gonna click our heels and say 'I wish I were at McDonald's' until we're there? Or better yet-" She grabbed Aza's hand. "Fuuuu-sioooooon..." They had been brought where Aza wanted to go by this point. "HA!" Ciel shouted, twisting her body into a stretching position and now looking at unfamiliar scenery. "Holy shit, it worked!"

"If pigs get to enjoy their food even half as much as I do, Moka, then I'll take that label with pride." Komi snickered whilst biting into Onigiri Eleven for emphasis.

She'd slowed down in her eating, but only because she was nearing the end of her meal. There was only about two Onigiri left, so she spun in her seat, leaning her back against the counter asshe finished off Number Eleven. She didn't even comment on Mouri's distaste with the Nickname, far preferring to just let that nail stay right where it was. But she couldn't exactly pass on her comment about food. Komi liked her meals big, specifically so she could keep to one a day and not have to worry about interrupting her rides with pit stops. There were clear exceptions to this rule, but for the most part she was sticking to an eat once a day mentality.

But it wasn't as though she hadn't gone somewhat overboard today, over a dozen Onigiri was a lot even for her. She'd been itching for a comfort meal ever since that chat with Aza, and was pleased to feel her worries over her fading under the high-flavor, high-calorie contents of her plate. She smirked whilst reclining further against the counter, the chair leaning dangerously as she did so.

Just as Onigiri Eleven was finished being lovingly consumed, Mouri began speaking of her 'true power in battle'. While still flowery, the subject was definitely more interesting in Komi's mind, and so she actually tilted her head towards Mouri to listen whilst going for Onigiri Twelve. However, her words died before she could fully get into detail about just what kind of damage she could do. Komi frowned whilst chewing, raising an eyebrow at Mouri as she seemed to lock-up. Instead of getting to the fun stuff of what kinda magical power she could wield, she just started darting her eyes up from her food occasionally.

Confused, Komi followed her gaze, turning in her seat to look for whatever had derailed the conversation. For some reason, Mouri seemed distracted by a group of girls who just came in chatting away. At the head of them was a familiar face, well more specifically the familiar yellow raincoat that Komi had gotten used to seeing in the midst of crowds during her performances. The face attached to it was speaking loudly, laughing along with the girls beside her. Long black hair flowing, it took a moment for the mismatched red and yellow eyes to take note of the people already sitting down.

But when they did, the smirk she formed was unmistakable. She went back to chatting with her friends as they passed, pausing for a second to motion for Komi to call her with an excited glint in her eyes. Komi was in the middle of Onigiri Twelve, so was unable to offer more than a peace sign as the girl in the yellow raincoat led her pals by.

For some reason, their absence seemed to Kick Mouri back into gear, as she gave a sigh before returning to her usual self. Well, as usual as she could with that strained twinge in her voice. Instead of jumping back into the previous topic, she instead brought up the girls that had passed by. Probably because of how their leader motioned to her, she asked Komi about them.

"Who? Kei? Totally." Komi nodded in the direction the girls had left in before shaking her head "She shows up to every other stunt performance with a bullhorn and gets crowds pumped. She's great for spreading word if I'm planning stuff."

Finishing off Onigiri Twelve, Komi licked at her fingers a bit before wiping them down with a napkin. Waving her other hand around, she smirked at Mouri before leaning close.

"But let's stick to the whole chat about what kind of badass punishment you can dish out, eh?" she nodded to Agotta "Already got a good look at most people's business, so it'd be better to know how..."

Komi trailed off, noting that Agotta was leaning her head down on the table. Her shoulders were shaking, and Komi quickly realized that the smaller girl was crying.

"Ah hell..." she muttered as her smirk vanished, eyes darting around before she simply closed them and reached for her last Onigiri. Unwilling to waste time trying and failing to comfort the younger girl, Komi planned to play-dumb and ride it out.

But then Agotta stopped with the waterworks, instead sitting up and expressing her hatred for their mysterious monster in a manner far more Komi's style. Smile widening as she ate, Komi listened to Agotta with a growing sense of pride that she couldn't deny no matter how delicious her meal was. So the second she swallowed, she pressed against the counter while leaning towards Agotta.

"That's the spirit, kid!" She congratulated her whilst clenching a fist "Don't get sad, get mad! The second we find that thing, we'll show it what a bunch of pissed off girls with all kinds of powers can really do! I'll be surprised if there'll be anything left when we're through with it!"

She stuffed the last of her onigiri down her throat before swallowing it dry and giving a relieved sigh, finally sitting properly in her seat so she could lean back and pat her stomach in appreciation.

"With all these girls out for its blood, its ain't like we'll have to wait long." she sighed, giving a satisfied nod to a passing server before eyeing Mouri "So what brand of beatdown were you planning on serving its magical ass anyway?"

Mouri let out an exasperated ugh. She felt like no matter how many insults she threw at her Komi would find a way to not be offended by it. Nor would it deter her from eating so messily. With Kei's sudden appearance and subsequent disappearance Mouri felt a weight had been lifted. …A very bright, yellow weight. She would have to deal with that later. For now, she had many pressing matters to attend to. She couldn't help but notice that Komi had taken a liking to her words previously, more specifically her abilities. Considering she more than likely already knew what the others could do it made sense. But what didn't make sense to Mouri was how close Komi was getting to her. She instantly scooted away a few inches. Gaining and keeping her attention was a balancing act in itself. An act that was harder to pull off if you didn't know what interests her the most. Mouri could do something with this information.

At first she denied Komi any access to the secrets of her power, instead simply continuing her meal as if she never asked. She was only doing so to spite her, mainly for the uncalled nickname. Similar to that of a child being mad at someone she gave her the silent treatment. But then something hit her. Not informing them ahead of time had a likely chance to cause more harm than good in many aspects. She couldn't just flail her well, flail around and potentially cause damage to them. So out of concern for them--mostly Agotta, she decided to touch on the topic briefly.

However before she could open her mouth to speak, Komi had eyed Agotta, which Mouri did in turn after she fell silent. The young girl's head was planted onto the table, and she could hear some light sniveling emitting from her. Komi's actions were pretty in character from what she's seen so far. Mouri's sisterly instincts kicked in. As she was about to go in for a second round of comforting Agotta raised her head and did a complete 180 with what she said next. She understood it quickly...the grips of revenge had grabbed her mind, and it wasn't keen on letting go until that monster was obliterated. Hearing Agotta swearing gave her some whiplash, but it was far from the worst thing she heard a child say, so she excused the language for now. She nodded.

"If it is revenge you seek then I shall assist. Whatever path you wish to take, I sanction it." Komi seemed ecstatic about Agotta's decision as well, telling her not to get sad, but mad. There was no doubt in her confidence that they would be able to take it down. Mouri could only hope so. After she watched Komi gulf down the last of her king-sized meal, she took to finishing hers. Upon being reminded of the power thing again she stopped to reply instead of eating in between sentences.

"Do not expect me to construe these abilities recurrently, miss Komi. I only have so much patience for troglodytes." She didn't take to giving up on the insults just yet. Now that she was already in this she couldn't stop now. In an odd way she was stubborn in that nature. "My power is based around the occult art of raising and communicating with those who have departed from this world. Using black magic the undead shall be under my predominance. Expect specters of the otherworldly kind to pay you a visit from time to time." She decided against telling them about the undead having a time limit, as it would take away from its cool factor. "Aside from that, I also possess two weapons at my disposal. A sword, and a flail. Though I should warn you, my attacks can spread quite far and may potentially hit one of you if I'm not careful."

"Seventh floor." The clean, synthesized voice of the elevator's control panel announced as Nozomi stepped out. It was late afternoon, about the time she would have come back from school anyway. The tension and strain of the day still weighing heavy on her shoulders, she turned her key in the lock and stepped into her apartment.

She didn't get halfway to her room when Mother's voice called out. "Shiranui Nozomi. Why the hell weren't you in school today?"

"Mom...?" Nozomi stiffened. "Mom, I don't know where you got that idea, but-"

"Hanging around with thugs? Getting into fights?!" Mother's voice grew ever slightly more shrill. She was moving. The hairs on Nozomi's neck stood up. Somehow, someway, she knew. Nozomi couldn't argue that fact...

"I didn't fight anyone, okay? You don't...know..." Nozomi backed up, instinctively lifting her arms up defensively.

Not bothered to force the issue, Mother backed off just a little. "If anything like this happens ONE more time..." She let the implication hang.

"..."

Nozomi shuffled into her own room, collapsing onto her bed. She felt...a bit strange. Her soul gem was resonating faintly, almost as if it was reacting to the increased presence of its counterparts. There were more magical girls in town. Something was going to happen soon. Couldn't she catch a break?!

The two would appear in the restaurant, though thanks to a little more technology people didn't really notice the new arrivals. Messing with people's minds was a simple process that the incubators used quite often to grant the letter of a wish if not the spirit of one. That was something Aza had brought up, but in the end it was just the easiest way to do things and most girls didn't notice the difference. Aza in fact was thinking of perhaps using it should she need something to offer the other girls to make sure they stayed the course.

" Teleportation is the simplest of tricks we incubators use " Aza said though she was not in kyubey form she had not needed to change as one of the terminals revealed itself on her shoulder. " This was how you could have traveled if you had asked " She continued recalling the mention of Ciel taking the bus here " Though you are still staying the night " She added not that they couldn't send Ciel back home but Aza wanted a friend around right now.

Aza moved her hand from being grabbed to grabbing Ciel's hand " Lets go order my treat" She actully sounding a little relived to be having this tiny moment of normal in her life long since deviod of normal.

Komi let the inner workings of human digestion get to the wonder works and deal with the large meal as she relaxed for a second. She'd be putting that energy to good use soon enough, but for now she was more interested in getting the details on what the new girl could do. Thankfully, she seemed on board for their whole whip the mystery monster's ass plan, which Komi was thankful. So many times she'd heard the 'be careful and cautious' ploy get thrown around and there was only so many times she could remind folks how little that meshed with her vibes.

Mouri seemed to loosen up with whatever her powers were, saying she wouldn't be saying them again in yet another overly wordy manner that made Komi roll her eyes. In the midst of it she called Komi something, but Komi was fairly certain it was a made up word she was only using to go along with her performance. Komi stopped herself from thinking too hard on it, recognizing that the real tasty stuff was just coming up.

She proceeded to fill them in on her powers, of course using more of that fancy nerd-speak that Komi was just letting bounce off of herself. The main point was fairly obvious though, she did things with dead stuff. Komi knew how that worked, their was an arcade game that had you specifically fighting a necromancer and their army, so the hours of play were quickly coming back to her.

"Got it, Sword, flail and a whole lotta zombies." she listed off with a wave of her finger before shrugging and leaning back with a grin "If anybody should be worried about hitting someone, it should prolly be me."

She waved a hand around as she continued, "Don't know whether its cuz of being a Trogodieter or whatever, but you talking bout raising the legions gets me thinking I'mma be runnin' em over left and right."

She kicked up Fafnir, catching it out of the air and looking it over with admiration, "Me and this lil number go speedin' all over, whether as a board bike or five-hundred pounds of horse-powered four-wheeler glory. If you really goin' full house of the dead on us then I'll bet I'mma be gettin all kinds o' zombie grime all up in my wheels and shit. Not like it could stop Fafnir, but if we're out here warning each other."

Komi paused before glancing to Agotta, seeing her still eating. She dropped Fafnir back to the floor and began rolling it back and forth with one foot as she whipped out a phone. It looked as though it had been beaten and battered by a street gang, from the case to the screen there were cracked and chipped pieces everywhere. The only thig surprising about it besides its damaged appearance was the fact that it still turned on in spite of this.

"And since we're all sharing and shit," Komi began tapping at fractured screen with both thumbs, but nodded to Agotta whilst giving Mouri another glance "figured you should know that pipsqeuak over there's basically a pokemon trainer, so here's hopin' your zombies don't eat Pocket monsters, eh Moka?"

Yao Chie Long
(Open for Interaction)
262013.jpg

Long was currently at her family's house, located within the urban housing section of the big city. She was currently assembling a plastic model of a giant robot, but her expression was somewhat bored.
She looked up from her desk to see that the time was pretty late in the afternoon, and she looked back to her plastic model before getting up and heading to her room's window. "I can spend some time looking for trouble. I need to blow off some steam anyways."

She looked back at the picture on her desk for a moment, the light in her room concealing the top part of the image, but it showed a younger Long with a person behind her, patting her head as they both looked directly at the camera. A needle of sorrow pierced Long's heart before she opened her window and jumped out....

For a while, Yao Chie Long was leaping from rooftop to rooftop, in her civilian form while looking down towards the city streets below. She honestly was feeling less hyperactive, and more bored by the second. "If I dont find me a witch soon..."
She took a step too late on the edge of the building she was about to leap off of, and her foot caught on the edge, before she flipped forward and fell down towards the ground, screaming.

bd7b145ff2a98274c571c8c9735694fc.jpgKomi reiterated her advice. Certainly, getting mad was the better option. She really had to thank whatever magical deity reignited the spark in her heart that hoped to use her enemy as kindling. Although anger may be one of the most potent emotions, it was also the easiest to let go of. It was slippery, like a serpent. Komi ignored some kind of big word Mouri through at her, and then asked what she'd be doing in a fight, and Agotta paused her gluttonous rampage to hear her. From what she could gather, she... Raised the dead? Agotta had dropped her fork. She didn't even hear whatever Mouri said about her weapons. She barely even heard herself breathe. Could she..? No... Maybe? "Miss Mouri... Can you raise Magical Girls? Can they speak? Do they hold their memories? I... I wanna see Anri for one last time... I want to..." She was barely holding in tears this time. "I wanna ask her what the monster does..." She lied, and turned her attention back to her food, grabbing her fork and trying to distract herself with delicious cuisine. By the time Komi had explained the potential clashing between Pokémon and Spirit, her dishes were empty of food. Her fork clinked against the glass though, she wasn't paying attention to her food. "Corviknight should be alright. He's made of metal, so..." She looked over at the Pokémon in question, and froze. It was staring off in some direction. What did it see? What was it looking at? No, more importantly, what was it feeling? It had its wings tucked against its body... like a shield? Against what? Agotta's fork didn't have the luxury of being dropped on the table this time, and the disposable plastic fork fell onto the floor beneath the table. She knew what Corviknight was feeling. Fear. It felt something dangerous a ways off, and was prepared to protect itself. It had only done this one other time, only one creature instilled such a feeling into this chivalrous bird. Not familiar, not witch, not girl, not man, nor beast... Only the monster could make it feel this way. The fiend that plagued Agotta's recent life... The one that put such wrath inside of her. She had a lead on where it was finally. The only question was... Could she really do it? All this thinking tracking the monster down, all this yearning, the grudge that weighed on her heart like an anvil... There was no doubt. The fire in her heart was now a raging inferno! The object of her desire was possibly right over there, where Corviknight was looking. Right over at the Uranami Station! Did it sense that Agotta and Nozomi returned to there last night after its foul waltz? That's the direction Komi came from, right? Was it after her of all people? It didn't matter. Now considering the place, there was no doubt that the monster was there.

"Guys! The monster is at Uranami Station again!" Agotta bolted up out of her seat. "It's the only thing I know of that can scare Corviknight!" She whipped out her flip phone and selected Nozomi from the contacts list. She started running out of the noodle shop, not caring whether they'd paid or not yet. She called Corviknight down, and while the bird was coming down she sent a quick text to Nozomi that read "MOOSTER URAOAMI STATgON". Not the most elegant text, but the message hopefully got across through the flip phone's dingy keypad. The huge metal bird had reluctantly landed next to her, its gaze still fixed in the direction of the train station. "Come on!" She shouted to Komi and Mouri before flying off. If not showing regular people magical things was a rule, she'd definitely broken it by being lifted of the ground by a giant invisible bird. She could not be paid to care about that right now. All of her, albeit short, life as a magical girl was culminating to this. Even before, when Anri had encountered it. This thing was a plague, and could not be suffered any longer.

Kousaka_Honoka_ALL_STARS.png"Wha?! Really?!" Ciel said in shock. "So I didn't have to ride the bus here?" She thought a bit more. "Eh... I'm mad, but I enjoyed sightseeing on the ride here, so I'll let it go seeing that you're treating me to some McDonald's." As she started to drift off into thought, Aza insisted that she stay at her place. "Well, I'm not one to say no to such a gracious offer. I'll feel a bit bored without my games, though." She was a bit surprised when Aza grabbed her hand. Huh, this was a rare occasion. She could count the times she'd just hung out with Aza like a human being on hand. She'd have to make the most of it and help her good friend have as much fun as she possibly could. Ciel quickly scanned the restaurant, and soon walked over to something. A large and strangely shaped display case with many different toys stood in front of the two. Separated into two parts, it seemed that boys were being given Gundam toys, and girls got various Sanrio characters. "Oooh, that one looks cute." She bent over and pointed to Hello Kitty. "But... That fish..." She pointed to Hangyodon. "It looks dumb... But in a cute way. Y'know? It looks like it's awkward, but bluntly honest... Like you!" She turned her head to Aza. If you stretched your imagination, you'd be able to see it. Her gaze shifted back to the stand and up a bit to look at the robots. They didn't seem too interesting until she saw something. "That one has a sword! You think I'd be able to replicate it?" She said, pointing to one of the display toys. She didn't know its name, and it wasn't displayed either. She looked at them a bit, thinking about what to order and waiting to see if Aza had anything to say. Once she sorted her meal out in her mind, she said "I'm ready." to Aza. After her friend was ready, she walked up to the counter and placed her order. "I'd like the 10 piece nugget meal, with a medium fry, and a large... fountain drink." She paused a bit before asking for her drink. After Aza shelled out the cash for her meal, she took the drink and table marker and walked over to the fountain. "Hey, Aza, watch this!" She put the cup and held under the Cola, filled it up half way, and then filled the other half with fruit punch. "Ya' see, if you do this, it has all the sweetness of fruit punch, the flavor of cola, and none of the carbonated sting." She looked at her drink and realized she had forgotten something. "Oh yeah... The ice..." She drink a bit off the top and then added some ice. Putting the cap on her drink, she grabbed the table marker and sat at one of the booths. Once Aza got there, she started talking again. "Soo... I've found out a good way to train. It's just playing video games. I just play a game that features swords, and morph my sword subconsciously while I play. It's pretty good, helps me transform my sword more easily." The meal got there, and Ciel started digging in. Dipping nuggets and fries into barbeque sauce and gulping down large swigs of her sweet concoction, listening to whatever Aza had to say.

The notification sound on Nozomi's phone beeped. Of course it would. Pulling her hand tiredly down her face, Nozomi fumbled for her earbuds as she opened the message.

It took her a few more seconds to understand what the phone's screen reader tried to make of the short, mangled message she received was. Of course, the fact that it was from Agotta and she was obviously in a hurry was indication enough of what it meant.

"Just great..." She sat still on her bed for a moment, considering her next move. Well, it's not like Mother came in to check on her any more these days... Standing up, she rested her hand on the windowsill. It was a long way up...but no more dangerous than a lot of other things she did these past days. "Let's do it." She muttered under her breath, holding her soul gem close. Once again, the red energy engulfed her as she opened her eyes, the precarious drop before her. Idly, she wished she could generate Corviknight's wings without touching them...but she'd have to settle for the next best thing.

She tensed her legs, and jumped, spreading her limbs out. A kite-like glider formed on her back, her stomach feeling a kick as the glider caught wind and sailed across the city.

Just then: a scream?

There she was...a girl falling off one of the lower buildings. A magical girl would shrug that off, almost. But she didn't seem to be-

Closing her arms, Nozomi dove, grabbing the girl in her arms. Rolling forward in midair, she planted her feet onto the wall, letting her tabi magically adhere to the brick. Slowly, the two of them slid down to the ground, landing in a side alley.

"You okay? It's not safe up..."

Okay, clearly she was entirely mistaken. At this distance, she could feel it. That undeniable aura of a soul gem...another magical girl.

"New in town?" Nozomi rested her hands on her hips, peering at the girl. If this new girl wasn't involved in the affairs up to this point...it'd be good to have another person in her corner for the spat with Aza and those helping her out.

"I'm heading to Uranami Station. You can come along too, I'm sure you can keep up." She said, calmly but a bit curtly. Lifting her arm, she shot her grappling hook onto the edge of the roof again, launching herself back into the air.

Chie closed her eyes out of fear. She honestly couldn't remember how much protection she got from fall damage while in civilian form. Was she gonna die?
Just then she felt arms catch her before she felt her fall slow down to a complete halt. She was put down on her own two legs before she opened her eyes to see who had saved her.

She was beautiful. A Girl in Ninja clothing who had hair similar to one of a Card Game protagonist. Yao Chie Long bowed in apology. "I'm sorry for troubling you miss!"
She replied to her question on if she was okay or not.
The ninja girl then asked if she was new in town. Yao Chie Long smiled and scratched the back of her own head, giving a closed eyed grin.

"I'm not new here, but I didn't know there was another Magical Girl here!" The Ninja girl then told her she was heading to Uranami Station, in an offer for her to come along as she then flew off using a grappling hook.
Long reached into her right skirt pocket and pulled out a ring, before putting it on. "Wait up!"

She summoned her soul gem before she transformed into her magical girl form.

Yao held her soul gem to the sky in a emerald green void as her gem flashed out of existence and a humanoid mecha rose from the ground in front of her, facing away from her as she stepped into the mecha. The face, arms, and upper legs of the mecha vanished as the armor close around Yao's own body, before a vortex of light consumed her before she flew out with a gun blade in hand, cutting down and bringing her blade back behind her.
(End of sequence)

Yao flew up beside the ninja girl as they head towards the station. On the way there, Yao introduced herself.
"It's probably a bad time for this, but my name is Yao Chie Long!"

Aza would have to explain to Kyubey how to invite people places and actually give them all the information needed. They were connected, but she didn't always focus on what Kyubey or his terminals were saying as if she did the voice would drown out everything. Kyubey had gotten a little better with humans, though still emotion perplexed the incubator , his mind was just not made to process emotion like humans did. Really that was a blessing as if Kyubey felt as humans did then the universe would have ended long ago for he would not have been able to go through with his plan for so long. Aza didn't fully realize how human she was acting taking another's hand, and seeming eager for company in a meal. It was hard to remember to b e so when every part of her life these days called for her to be numb and not allow herself to feel like a normal human.

Aza mostly listened as much as she could in the semi crowded store with humans talking and with the voice of the incubators ever deeper deeper in the back of her mind a small buzz that never fully went away but you got used to and was almost peaceful. She did however catch being compared to a fish. Aza saw no real comparison from colors to looks between the two, but Ciel seemed to see it as more emotional than the cheep plastic toy it was. Awkward and bluntly honest. Well Aza guessed that was not wrong if she had been good with people so many events would have been avoided and there would be far less blood on her hands. Looking to the sword Aza thought over it, technically yes she could.

" Well you could, you could make a sword that looks like it. Still your best option is to go research it. If you understand even the made up science of how it should work and what it should do We would work our best to make one for you" Aza explained. Normally Kyubey would never explained how to get a better result and Aza wouldn't either but Ciel had asked a good enough question.

After Ciel ordered Az went " A burger and large fries and large drink... and another large fry" She said even before her wish she had enjoyed the deep-fried and salted potato strips and now they were some of the few foods not ruined by the thought of energy counts. Alcohol also didn't mess with her energy intake as everything was about energy intake and out put with incubators. As she was Paying Ciel called out to her and showed her a trick, though Aza was not using that.

" The sting is the best part of soda" She chided Ciel playfully as she filled her own cup not adding any ice as it was cold enough already and more ice meant less soda and that was less sweet carbonated goodness. In the back of Aza's mind voices emerged, from a terminals this was important. Agotta was going to fight the thing and taking everyone with her. This did mean a better chance as killing it, but it also meant if they failed Aza would lose the group. She was also aware of Yoa encountering Nozomi, that would be an issue.

Aza had to take a moment " What?" She said before the words caught up with her "Ah yes well That is a good way to do it the more clear and image you have of a sword and what it can do the better" She said though it was clear she was distracted even as she ate a few fries. " Lost of powers are made more powerful if you can visualize them without actively thinking about them as odd at that sounds . Still we might not get to enjoy our meal the girls are heading out for the critter" Aza said with a sigh she really didn't want to bother with that thing. " I have a terminal tailing them, well i have one tailing all magical girls in the city, but anyways they are going after the beast. If it was just Agotta then I could let her go but if they all die it will be annoying to replace them" Aza explained glossing over in a way how she violated everyone's privacy " So if they get in over their head we will reinforce them" Her tone leaving no room for disagreement still she didn't stop eating or even start eating faster, she was going out of duty not worry or at least she told herself such, so there was no need to rcuh.

Nozomi wondered briefly what Yao wished for. Was it polite to ask? Whatever was "normal" for magical girls had probably been turned on its head in the past few days.

Nevertheless, her armored suit lifted her up into the air, easily allowing Yao to outpace Nozomi. "Yao-kun. It's good to meet you...I'm Shiranui." Her breath caught as she swung through the air, the exertion almost effortless. The strength she could summon in her transformed state still surprised her every time.

Barely able to keep pace with Yao in order to guide her, Nozomi soon landed on one of the rooftops overlooking the closed station. She peered down, trying to spot any people she knew. "Yao, sorry to spring this on you...but we're tracking a monster. It's...not a witch, but it's been attacking other girls like us. We'll have some backup coming, but..."

"One of them is probably going to look like a Kyubey. Don't get close to her, and take anything she says with a lot of salt." She didn't want to bias Yao against Komi or anyone else accompanying Aza, but the stakes were never higher and they definitely weren't all on the same side.

Shiranui. Her name certainly fit her appearance.
After the two girls had landed on the building, Shiranui explaind the situation.
A monster had been going around, attacking other magical girls. It was not a type of witch, which had Yao somewhat scared.
There was backup on the way, and she also was told one of them may look like Kyube, and not to trust her.

"A Monster?" Yao asked, with some surprise. She didn't say anything about the others, but she chose to listen to Shiranui. After all, if they got along the moment they met, what was the worse that could happen?
"What exactly is this monster capable of? Did you fight this thing?"

A question poised itself on Agotta's tongue that she herself had asked before. The answer she received was a mixed bag of positives and negatives. Mouri paused briefly before answering her. All she could do now was give her the truth, doing less than that would be dishonest and unbefitting of her.

"Yes, your question was foretold in the stars, a fated one to be sure. To put simply...it's complicated. Death is elusive in its ways, and for even ones enshrouded in the magical arts it is a sacred thing. I have found out through rigorous testing that normal humans, and to an extent magical girls, can be revived for a brief period of time before they must return to the realm of the deceased. They retain their memories, however some choose not to speak or even acknowledge my existence. Be that as it may, some magical girls are deemed to have unnatural deaths, and therefore cannot be contacted from my knowledge."

Ever since she got her powers she experimented with them heavily, and pushed the boundaries of what was assumed to be impossible. She tried contacting spirits during battles with witches, outside of battles, near graveyards, right after defeating a witch, and many more. Even so she felt there was still more to discover. More secrets death kept from her. Perhaps with her increasing strength she could achieve more? "If I uncover any more about it, I'll be sure to inform you first." She added with a nod.

At the mention of Corviknight Mouri's attention was locked onto the bird who she had noticed was transfixed on something in the direction it was currently facing and its sudden shift in behavior. Immediately she sensed something was wrong, and was preparing to go on the defensive if something charged them. There was a sudden rush. Mouri could feel it when the young girl dropped her fork and shouted. There was enough conviction and urgency for her to believe in her claims of their mystery monster being at the station.

"Seems we won't have to dawdle much longer."

Mouri turned her head to Komi to address her before jumping out of her seat, pulling out her wallet and throwing an inconsiderable amount of money on the table. Some of the coins missed the table and landed on the ground instead. "Watch and learn, furball. We'll be victorious before you can even contract another girl." She proclaimed to the kyubey she spotted standing nearby.

She snapped her fingers, prompting a layer of a gelatinous looking substance to produce beneath her feet and morph into her sword. Suspended in the air for only a moment she surfed through the skies, a trail of purple streaks producing behind her. While she was up there she took the time to take in some deep breaths and calm her invading nerves. Magical girl travel quickly became her favorite way to get around. Its low cost and high speed was enough to get her to school and back home in under five minutes. Her worry of falling had all but vanished after she got the hang of it. After a moment of continued air travel the silhouette of the train station pulled into view. Promptly her sword dove downwards until she could jump off without sustaining any injuries. Nothing came into her peripheral yet. The calm before the storm.
