Naruto! In the original story Naruto Uzumaki explored his nindo; Ninja way, belief, or dream by facing enemies, creating friendships, and battling his inner beliefs.
What if…you were to create your own nindo? What if the Shinobi world was recreated to include your very own character, whose life mission is to answer this very question?
In this new world of Naruto, you can do exactly that! Up until the 3rd Hokage the events are recreated to include a whole new set of characters, yours. Your characters will write their own story as well as grow to be fine Shinobi. It’s up to you to decide how to live, and for what cause or motivation you will live for.
Joining the roleplay does not mean you need extensive Naruto universe knowledge. I’ve taken up the task to provide the lore for anyone to look into, which is down below. However, I am looking for roleplayers who are dedicated in creating a world of action-based combat, character developement, a willingness to have a great time with others, and a roleplay that will last. If you feel that you can fulfill this task then express your interest!
Now, imerse yourself in a new story based on the Naruto Universe:
Konohagakure is thriving; world peace, a growing population, and strong Hokages. The Third Shinobi World War was a time of chaos and uncertainty. The war brought forth many heroes in terms of strong new Kages and distinct ninja who swayed the battlefield, but the war took tenfold more lives. The lives lost in the war became the cornerstone for peace talks and agreements that have lasted to the current day. The world has been stable for years as each village has created and continued their traditions.
However, not all is peaceful in the villages. There have been rumors that the Mist village has been facing some instability among their leaders and comrades. This uncertainty has certainly increased priority in the private discussions among the leaders of each village. Some believe it's time to rebalance the strength of each village while others wish to never see the horrors of war again.
To the everyday Shinobi, life goes on as usual. Rumors are only rumors that really hold no weight, and with the Chunnin exams around the corner then Konohagakure is in a difficult spot. With the decision to proceed with hosting the Chunnin exams Konohagakure is sending a clear message; We WILL preserve and prosper, no matter the circumstances.
This is the political climate you're living in. As a Genin you will have heard the word on the street, but with no proof it's just gossip. You see Konohagakure thriving, and the only thing on your mind is preparing for the exams. Since your squad leader has decided you are going to participate it's up to you how you'll maneuver your feelings and your training. Good luck!

Genin
Would you like to be a ninja from one of the well known Shinobi clans down below? Or would you like to be a ninja who will set their path independently, in honor of Konoha? Whichever path you choose, your character will have graduated the academy and already have missions under their belt. (This section is the total number of characters we can accept for the RP. For Example: We can have 9 spots filled, but only 6 clans taken. That DOES NOT mean we have 3 more spots open. Once the GENIN spots are filled then the RP will be closed until additional spots open up).

Hyuuga
The clan is well known in Konohagakure, and are the strongest clan in the entire village. The Estate compound is the 2nd largest in Konoha, right behind the Uchiha compound. All members born into this clan possess the Byakugan, a kekkei genkai that gives them extended fields of vision and the ability to see through solid objects and even the chakra circulatory system, amongst other things. Members of this clan also possess an innate ability which allows them to expel chakra from any of the tenketsu in their body.

Uchiha
The clan is the most well known clan of Konohagakure. It's reputed to be the village's strongest, the Hyuuga following right behind, because of their Sharingan and natural battle prowess. After helping found Konoha decades ago, the Uchiha grew increasingly isolated from the village's affairs, though they still are in charge of Konoha's Police Force to the current day.

Aburame
The clan is well-known in Konohagakure as one of the most loyal, right behind the Hyuuga clan. At birth, members of this clan are offered to several special breeds of insects as a nest, residing just under their host's skin. These insects will then live in symbiosis with their host from that point on. Because of this, its members are characterised by their use of insects as weapons. The clan members may also carry additional insects in jars or gourds with them on missions. The insects can leave and enter their host's body through various pores. They feed on chakra as a food source, making them quite deadly. The relationship between the shinobi and the insects is mutually beneficial.

Akamichi
The clan is a well known clan of Konohagakure. Many of their clan's techniques revolve around the manipulation of their bodyweight and size through the use of Yang Release. Members of the clan possess great physical strength and are able to quickly convert calories into chakra, which they then use in their various secret techniques. Most of these techniques rapidly consume the user's chakra during use, and maintaining them during a prolonged battle can be tiring. For this reason the Akimichi have high chakra levels and eat a lot in order to build up or replenish their chakra reserves. As a tribute, members of the clan wear the kanji for "food" (食, shoku) on the their clothing. If standard calories aren't enough for a battle, Akimichi can use the clan's Three Coloured Pills to convert excess fat into chakra, at the cost of one's health.

Inuzuka
The clan is also known as a Family, and are shinobi in Konohagakure known for their use of ninken as fighting companions. They are easily identified by the distinctive red fang markings on their cheeks. The members are given their own canine partner(s) when they reach a certain age. Thereafter, the shinobi and their dog(s) are practically inseparable.

Yamanaka
The clan also known as a family of shinobi in Konohagakure. They specialise in mind related techniques, and they own and run a flower shop in the village. They traditionally lead the Konoha Barrier Team. The members of this clan specialise in mind-related techniques which makes them experts at intelligence gathering, espionage and interrogation amongst other things. They have also displayed sensory abilities and their techniques include transferring their consciousness, reading minds and communicating telepathically. The flower symbol of this clan is the bush clover which symbolises a "positive love". Most members of the Yamanaka clan wear their hair in a long ponytail, which appears to be traditional.

Nara
This clan, or family, is one of the many clans of Konohagakure. They are known for tending deer and their ability to manipulate shadows through the use of Yin Release. A few of its members are well known for their high-level of intelligence, and have served as advisors to the Hokage in the past. The clan has kept a book with various medicine preparations and effects for generations, implying that they are skilled in the area of medicine and healing arts. Among the medicine described in this book are the secret pills used by the Akimichi clan. The Nara also have a special bond with the deer of the Nara Clan Forest, and only members of the clan are allowed inside without the deer attacking unless an outsider is given permission.

Senju
The clan was one of the clans responsible for founding the first shinobi village: Konohagakure — the other being their rival Uchiha Clan. Although the clan itself no longer appears to exist as a group, the Senju continue to influence Konoha's politics through their philosophy of the Will of Fire and the corresponding interpretation of the role of the Hokage position. As such, three Senju have achieved the position of Hokage.

Sarutobi
This clan is an influential clan from Konohagakure. It has produced several renowned members who have held positions of high authority, including the Third Hokage. All known members have also been devout observers of the Will of Fire.

Rule One!
Discord is a requirement for this roleplay. We will be roleplaying the main story on RPN, but the majority of plotting, chatting, and announcements will be done on there. A link to the Discord will be provided, with a temp ooc for everyone to use while they make a character; those accepted will gain full access to the server after applications have been reviewed and approved.
Rule Two!
This roleplay is strictly 18+, for the comfort of myself and of others who may not feel comfortable rping with minors. If someone joins and is found to be under 18, they will be asked to leave.
Rule Three!
Players will be required to post a MINIMUM of two full paragraphs for each post. A strict posting schedule will be implemented. I am giving a person 7 full days to post or they will be skipped. If you need an extended day(s) DM me. I am considerate of people's time, but I also want to consider those that are eager to RP.
Rule Four!
Final decision on character acceptance will not be first come, first serve, nor will reservations be accepted. After the specified deadline, applications on COMPLETED character sheets will be reviewed and the character that is the best fit will be accepted.
Rule Five!
Players are limited to one character per person. NPCs are played by me. NO EXCEPTIONS. Once the story progresses at a good rate then this may open up.
Rule Six!
No Canon Characters from the 4th Hokage onwards will be accepted! This roleplay is specifically made to incorperate a decent story plot and new characters. I will not accept any relation to these characters or canon character requests to be made. If there's even a hint that you're attemping to bypass this rule then you will not be accepted into the roleplay.
Rule Seven!
For this roleplay, we will only be using anime/illustrated art. I will have a character sheet up with examples on how I would like those to be. As well, please try to keep the gender ratio even; if I see too many people making characters of the same gender I may ask some to switch to even things out. Non-binary, gender-fluid, etc characters are welcomed!
Rule Eight!
At the start of the roleplay all characters will be Genin, with an age range of 13-15. All characters will be grouped in a squad of 3 Genin, so keep in mind that age range will be carefully looked at when deciding who will be accepted. The age range is very narrow, but this is because everyone will have graduated the academy at a smiliar age.
Rule Nine!
Boruto does not exist to me, and I definitely will not accept any Boruto related content. This is strictly a Naruto inspired storyline. Sorry not sorry.
Rule Ten!
Shinobi Spots: No one has to take one of the family spots like Uchina or Yamanaka, but this is simply to clarify which family is taken for this RP. If this roleplay expands then I will add more available spots, but for now it's only 1 shinobi per clan.
Rule Eleven!
Have a dynamic family: not everyone can be an orphan or have a tragic backstory. Have fun with it, be creative, don't always go for the edgy plots the canon characters have. I want to see dynamic families. (Ex: Shino, Shikamaru, Ino, Kiba, Choji family dynamic where their parents are living, well, and in their lives throughout it all.)
Rule Twelve!
All characters must have been born in Konohagakure: Characters like Kushina and Kabuto who became citizens will not be accepted. For now.
