not much else needed. as this is their first year, that means I am not going to ask for a bio. powers are not necessary either. do keep in mind the strength/weakness system. so you can't be a Centaur who can shoot fire and ice. each race has a specific strength and weakness, even more so for half breed races such as Hellspawn, which have to eat coal and smoke actual cigarettes rather than normal food, but also can control Dark magic AND Fire magic, at the cost of being VERY bad with Ice/Water and Light magic

Avell can telepathically communicate with Catherine due to a contractual-bond they have (as long as she's in range) and acts as an instructor to her, constantly giving her advice and trying to keep her out of trouble. Problem is, Cath can't respond telepathically back and has to actually talk with him to reply. They tend to discuss a lot.

At will, though Catherine is very inexperienced with it rn, so it's more of an upon danger situation, a defence mechanism. Either that or when her cat instincts take over, for example, if you present her some catnip or show her a laser pointer >w<

Name: Allan Poe Bellamy (Nicknamed Bell by some people)
Age: Technically 36, since he died in 1982. However, he died at age 17, so that's how he looks.
Race: Ghoul, formerly human.
Appearance: His skin is a very pale white, with no marks or blemishes other than a dark red, scratchy ring around his throat. His hair is pitch black, a stark contrast to his white skin, and falls down just past his shoulders, sweeping to the left in the front. He's about 5'11" (≈1.8 meters) tall, but he slouches, making him seem an inch or two shorter. His shape is quite thin, but athletic, with him having little, yet noticeable muscle on his abdomen and arms. His clothing usually consists of loose t-shirts, most often with band logos on them, baggy jeans, a loose jacket, and sneakers. He also sometimes wears sunglasses.

Abilities/powers: Summons spirits, has visions, speaks to the dead when enabling communication, cannot read minds, but has a hunch about people's intentions. Appears to be normal when in fact has a higher comprehensive level of the afterlife, heaven, hell, and everything in between.

Backstory (optional): Ivy Cane, formally known as Issa Ramatoulaye, was a normal girl from Oklahoma, raised in a home that spoke English, Arabic, and Spanish. Her unnatural powers spurred from a ritual gone horrible when on a retreat to visit her ancestors burial grounds in South Africa. She returned to America normally, when her parents began to notice the melanin in her skin was fading, and her eyes and hair became purple. It wasn't long after that the visions, voices, and potions came into play. Now a young adult, Ivy desires to venture to the Academy to study witchcraft carefully and keep a lid on her temperament. Ivy angry is a situation no one would like to be in, not even herself.

Personality (optional): Ivy Cane is sweet..unnaturally. She forces herself to be kind, but it comes easier with people she genuinely likes. She loves knitting, black coffee, and reading until she's tired. She is incredibly charming, but keeps to herself for the most part. Despite her constant questioning of the world. she is generally laid back, often spreading positive energy thin, until she has no more for herself.

Appearance: He stands at a rather tall height of 6 foot flat, he can be rather intimidating when he wishes to. Normally, he has soft and fluffy looking white hair that he usually messes around when he's frustrated. He also has innocent and soft baby blue eyes. This appearance comes from his Celestial mother. When he gets extremely angry or he starts using Dark magick, his hair turns into a purple hue and his eyes turn red. This appearance comes from his demon father. He has some form of control over changing this part of his appearance, but he sometimes does it unintentionally. He dresses rather formally but can sometimes be seen in more casual clothing when he feels that it is more appropriate.

• Belarius is doing his best to break down the stereotype of his kind where many other races despise them just because they are 'demons'. This, in turn, caused him to actually go around and help others until he began to enjoy it himself. He seeks to make many friends in the academy though is unsure how he will be recieved.
• His parents live harmoniously in the countryside. His father is occassionally summoned by witches for contracts but he takes care to not accept anything too extreme. His mother sometimes can be seen in a fortune telling hut for normal humans to visit.
• Belarius knows various languages of other races but is still thankful for the bracelet as he only knows the formal language.

  Appearance: Chase at an impressive 6'3, with dusty grey skin reflective of his race and bright pink eyes, that of which has a habit of glowing at night (but he apologies for). His hair is long and trails down to his chest, though it's wildly unkept. His hair is two toned both a cream-coloured white and black. Two horns protrude from the sides of his head, one being a set of two actual horns while the two on his left are antlers. Chase could be described as a rather good-looking young man, who often dresses in formal clothes with a hint of informality. He's often adorned with a suit-jacket and a slightly unbuttoned purple dress shirt: a tie loosely draped around his neck like a scarf. He adorns various piercings, a few on his long ears, one on his lip, and another behind his ear with a cross on the end.
  
  On his belt, there's always cooking utensils. Often the set being a spatula, a spoon, a whisk and most iconically his cleaver.

  • Cooking: He's practically a gourmet level cook. Chase has been cooking for most of his life, and it's actually one of his goals to end world hunger: albeit a bit morally skewed. Quote, "I could make Hell a soup kitchen if all comes to worst~!" His cooking is absolutely amazing though this is his life duty.
  • Hunting & Foraging: As so he loves cooking, he loves all parts of the process; including foraging for ingredients. For a lot of his life, though, he did have to forage and hunt for ingredients himself before buying them from merchants. He's certainly no foreigner to fishing and filleting the fish or killing a deer and gutting it right there and then.
  • Games of Chance: Partially due to his brother, Chase is rather adept at keeping a poker face when playing any casino-riddled game (from roulette to Poker).
  • Knife Throwing: Archery seemed too overrated for him so he specializes in knife throwing instead. Due to Chase' wieldence of a cleaver and various other cooking knives (though not on him), sometimes this is for practicality. Other times just to show off while cooking. Let him do this he's a good cook.

  • He often bumps into door frames due to his height and especially his horns.

  Appearance: Alois is stands at 5'9, appearing far considerably shorter next to their brother. He has two horns that protrude from the top of his head similar to his brother, but one horn is considerably longer than the other. His skin is a little more reminiscent of his human life, being a warm olive. Alois' eyes are a bright orange and a marking is under his left eye. His hair is similar to his brother but inverted, with its primary colour being a cream dirty white and accented a little bit by black. He braids the left section of their hair.
  
  Alois' clothes are much more interesting as something he made himself: being noticeably a long hood coloured red and black with a bright orange eye on both the left and the right side of its head. A moon pendant keeps the entire hood together as well as a ribbon at it's waist, which are both carnivorous snakes (which usually are inactive but can appear at both command and will: usually will if they haven't eaten very often). His scythe can also be conjured, and it has a lamp tied near the blade. He can ride this similar to how a witch rides a broom for short periods of time (10 minutes).

  • Gambling: This is just a big problem Alois has in general. He enjoys gambling not with money, but with souls. With a class similar to that of a reaper, he often gambles others for souls of particularly famous authors, such as Arthur Conan Doyle, Bram Stoker, Mary Shelley, etc. Alois is an amazing gambler: having even dragged his older brother into it. He's adept at dart throwing, roulette, various forms of Poker and Blackjack, though that doesn't mean he loses. With his terrible gambling habit, it's typically a big loss when he does lose his streak.
  • Tailoring: Just as he made his own clothes. Alois is a big fan of tailoring and clothes designing. He's embarrassed to tell other people however, and a lot of times he learned most of his tailoring because of a perpetual homelessness after he loses almost everything in gambling.
  • Geology: Big rock nerd. Knows a lot about rocks. Likes rocks. Knows the chemical makeup of various rocks he likes rocks.
  • Scythe Rides: While he isn't a big professional at it yet and hopes to be at the academy: he does enjoy riding on his scythe like a broom and travelling sky-high to admire the view.

He can't raise an army [yet]. Often, Chase asks him to bring souls that he gets to him so he can give them a final gourmet meal.
  • He has a full set of D&D dice with him.
  • Alois often refers to things similar to an RPG, such as stating his 'health bar is low' or 'stamina is running out', or that he needs to take a 'long rest to recover HP'.

Age:45 (Appears more along 17 for human comparison.)
Appearance: Human(ish) form: He stands at roughly 6'2 with a more lean build that would be expected from that of a runner that has spent countless years practicing and maintaining their form...with many wire like muscles running over his arms and legs. His skin a deep tan from many years in the sun. Though that's more or less counteracted with the large wings which lay flat on his back, being a dark bronze with yellow tones along the edges of the wing talons. While the occasional patch of bronze scales cover his arms and neck. (Something that with time...will fade as he gains better control of his secondary form)
Dragon form (Also his true form):

(Just roughly the size of a warhorse...With lighter bronze in place of the deeper bronze and a deep bronze instead of green.)

A natural affinity towards lightning based magics...(Might be pulling slightly from D&D, if that's not allowed then it shall be removed.)
He isn't unfamiliar with combat if needed, especially in his true form.
Sensitive hearing...main reason for the distain of loud noises.
