kenchin While I like the character, there isn't a "High elf" race to choose from. it's Dark elf or Light Elf. the reason I only accept the races in the OOC is because there is a weakness/strength system in place.

  Adria has a human complexion, but her hair takes the general pale blonde that is common of light elves. If you needed more of a giveaway to her heritage, she also has pointed ears. Adria is somewhat muscular looking, and at 5’ 10” she looks like the perfect in-between of the elves’ ethereal grace and humans’ solid stature. Which is appropriate, considering that’s exactly what she is. Having been raised with humans, she’s got their fashion sense mostly. She’s a fan of flannels and leggings or cargo pants, but she also has one (1) outfit of eleven make, and it's a blouse and tunic and a leather-and-cloth blue coat. Yes, the one whose collar is seen a little in the picture.

  • Introverted and closed-off, but friendly, of course. Adria doesn't tend to make close friends, but that’s mostly because she’s not used to having real, actual friendly relationships with anyone besides her parents. That means she’s also not a great fan of chit-chat, and thus a vicious feedback loop of furthering asocial tendencies. While she’s here at the school though she may try and make actual friends.
    Adria is happiest when she’s off the ground, because for her climbing is just really fun. If you ask, she’ll share with you tips and things about climbing and such. If you're careless or there to make fun of her, she’ll do so anyway. If you're still being a jerk, she will then humiliate you with kind spirit.
    Though she isn't social, Adria will often intervene in fights or any adversity and try to talk it out. This is because she doesn't know at all how to fight, and she doesn't pay very much mind to social standings. This has gotten her into some tight spots a few times. It's a good thing she’s pretty skilled at talking herself out of trouble. Chit-chat isn't her thing, but negotiating is.
    It's very difficult to make Adria angry, but when she is, she will self-destruct. Not literally explode, but it's pretty crazy. The only thing that spares everyone is that her magic can't hurt people and that she doesn't actually know at all how to fight.
    
  • Adria is the product of… well, she’s not sure how it went down, but she ended up being raised by a human community. At age 13 (about 5 in half-elf years) she was adopted by a human couple. They were quite outdoorsy people, and took her with them on numerous hiking and climbing trips. Several years later when Adria was about 10 in half-elf years, they managed to contact a light-elf community and arrange a meeting between them all. It was a nice but tense event, and in the end the elves decided she had a bit too much human in her and she remained with her adoptive parents. Given that she ages at a slower rate, about the time she received the academy’s letter, her parents were in their forties, though having adopted her in their twenties.
    Being humans, they weren't ever really able to teach her how to use the healing magic she has an inherent aptitude with, so she doesn't have a very solid grasp on it.
