Takao Kieran: Hero of Sofya

@Lithia

Takao walked inside of the gym, hopefully Elle would be inside already. They were announcing the winner of something. A contest of some sorts. Elle had won. Everyone was clapping and cheering. Takao had to find her and congratulate her. A nice big hug! He searched the crowd of people, then he saw her standing there. She was beside Lucius and a few others. The hero ran up to her and grabbed a hold of her without warning hugging her tightly. The embrace was warm and it felt amazing. These were feelings the hero was not used to..but for some reason..he didn't want them to ever go away.

Elle was shocked to hear her name called. She had no idea what happened when you won, what was she supposed to do? Everyone around her was clapping and cheering and she suddenly felt very nervous to be the center of attention. If she had been herself and not in this human body she would have felt more comfortable. Suddenly she saw Takao walking over to her looking absolutely dashing. He unexpectedly put his arms around her holding her in a tight embrace. As surprised as she was Elle hugged him back just as tightly. She had never really felt this way about anyone before and especially in this strange world it was comforting to have someone.

Elle went up to the stage to get her prize which turned out to be a giant pumpkin basket filled with candy. She brought her prize back to share with her friends, after all she had Esther to thank for helping her with the costume. "How long should we stay up here?" She asked wondering when it would be time to head back home.

Lucius quietly works in the basement. He grips the small brush lightly, dipping it in the bucket of blood. Weakly, he finishes the sigil, with a bit of a trail of blood leading from each microwave. The trails don't help much, but every ounce of energy saved will help. Making a few small adjustments, he sets the brush down, looking at the bucket of blood. Lucius sighs, realizing he'd wasted a bit more blood than he'd wanted to. His head begins to spin a bit ... but he endures it. He goes to the other end of the basement, grabbing the bags of pig's blood and setting them in the center of the sigil. Looking over, he makes sure Theo's contraption is finished ... perfect. Lucius turns and begins walking up the stairs when he sees Karl.

He scowls.
"Young boy!" he snaps uncharacteristically. "I am in need of help with getting back to my own world. If you do as I ask, I will not bother this world again! Now go!" Lucius points in the general direction of the gym. "Go into the gymnasium and spread the word: The chicken is baked. Those who understand will come - specifically, if you can, make sure the transfer students, as well as Esther, Alayna, and Theo hear the phrase."

Karl torn to pieces, having an intense internal debate about what is right to do in the situation. Psyche. He bolted down the hallway, flung open the gymnasium doors, and ran around yelling 'The chicken's ready!' Not understanding that the specific phrase was important. After about five minutes of this nonsense, he bent over gasping for breath, not used to the physical exertion.

Takao admired his lovely date as she went up to claim her prize of the night. Then all of the sudden the code word was yelled form across the gym. "Guys that's it..it's time. We need to grab everyone and get them to the basement now. Lucius is finished with the portal." Takao grabbed Elle's hand. "Come on dear, me and you will start looking for everyone else, the rest of you, head to the basement and we will be there soon."

Alayna scowled, tempted to step on his foot seeing as she was wearing her pointe shoes but she was feeling nice. I'm not a child, she mentally retorted, then noticed Esther, smiling at the cooky costume. Her bestie looked amazing in her costume. Then Elle won the costume contest and Takao practically tackled her with a hug, she smiled then walked over to Esther, "You look awesome miss feminine mad hatter!" she declared with a smile then she heard the code phrase and her smile turned upside down.

"Well it looks like the portals ready." She said, not worrying about anyone everhearing since it was halloween and they wouldn't think anything of it. She latched her arm to Esther's and walked down to the basement.

Hearing the odd code spoken out loud sent a shiver down Elle's back. She couldn't wait to get home and into her real body. She wanted to always feel like a soft breeze was touching her skin, never too warm and never too hot in her Autumn Fae body. She wanted to go where she could use her powers to help Takao. But going back also meant they would be fighting again, the seemingly endless battle between Takao and Lucius. Elle needed to be ready for that, she needed to keep her guard up now that her and Takao were together she could be used against him. Elle wasn't about to let that happen.

She let Takao lead her to find the others, excitement and pixies fluttering around in her stomach.

Takao Kieran: Hero of Sofya

@Lithia

Takao didn't actually have to find everyone else, he knew they would make their way to the basement soon. He had to talk to Elle..alone. He went out from with her and shut the door behind them. Then a nice big sigh was bought out. "Elle..my dear. I need to talk to you about something. This is where we can finally go back to Sofya..to be with our friends and family..but all of this fighting, it would be hard to live a life of fun anymore..and here I'm actually having a good time with all of the earth people. What would you say if I thought about staying here..on earth..? And maybe..maybe you could stay with me. I've been thinking about this for the past week..I don't know if staying is a good idea either..because lucius..he will run amok all over Sofya..what do you think we should do..?"

yItKlkK.jpg
Ellowyn Autumnleaf

Elle looked down at the floor. "Takao... Would you really stay here? Let Lucius win?" This didn't seem like the Hero of Sofya... But then again was it really wrong for him to want something other than being trapped in a fight to the death? He had a lot on his shoulders and so many people expected victory from him. Elle understood better than most people, her life wasn't entirely her own either. She had her vow to help Takao defeat Lucius, but if Takao gave up his quest and stayed here then maybe her vow wouldn't matter any more.

Truthfully she didn't know what she wanted to do or what was the right thing to do. All of this time she was waiting to get back, to be herself again. "I-I don't think I can abandon everyone to face Lucius on their own," she whispered afraid that she would have to go back without Takao. "What if you decide not to fight Lucius and then you die again? Some divine power brought you back right? Well what if they get angry that you abandon your quest and they take back what they gave you?" Elle had no idea if that was even possible but they had to consider all the possibilities.

"I'm going to let you think about it for a little bit, I'll just be outside getting some air. I won't leave without hearing your decision," she told him looking into his eyes for any trace of what his choice would be. Elle walked away stepping outside into the cool night air. Takao had given her so much to think about. She went over her choices again and again in her head but every time something inside her told her she had to go back. It was the right thing to do.

Elle really cared about Takao and the fact that he wanted her to stay meant he cared about her too. She wanted to stay with him where ever that was but she was concerned that she was putting her wants ahead of the people of Sofya and that wasn't what she was supposed to do. She looked up at the stars waiting for Takao to make his choice.

Lucius stands by the portal, tapping his foot impatiently.
Those children ... whatever will I do about this...? He sighs, then when he hears footsteps behind him, he turns around, causing him to stumble back a bit, holding his head. After a moment, he shakes his head, looking up at the two first arrivals. "Excuse me, I'm a bit ... dizzy from blood loss." Indeed, he has a few cuts on his arms and legs. "Had to draw that sigil somehow..." Lucius clears his throat, looking around. "Are there any more behind you? All of us need to be here, since the energy won't last much longer than a few minutes. I would expect Kieran especially to be down here as soon as possible..." He sighs, shaking his head. Looking at Alayna and Esther, he asks, "Could you two go make sure the others are coming? That awkward boy who yelled out the code phrase may as well be here, too... All the extra hands we can get in case something goes wrong, we must use."

Takao Kieran: Hero of Sofya

@Lithia

Takao let Elle walk away. This was the decision time, there was no more waiting and hoping something would eventually come, this needed to be chosen now. "Okay Kieran..think..Let's look at both sides of this.."

If Takao were to stay, he may not get to see Elle ever again as she may go back. There would be no one to take his place and no one with close enough power to take out Lucius..But he would be able to live a normal life for once. One with not so much stress on his head, but still the guilt of leaving his friends..his family..and the land he grew up in and loved oh so much.

On the other side, if he did go back. Then things would probably return to normal. A never ending battle against Lucius. Friends and family at his side once more. The world..in somewhat peace. But how would they ever beat Lucius if they did go back. Could they find a way.

"Elle was right..would the gods have believed in me if I wasn't able to beat Lucius..I would never have my god hand..it would be gone forever. Elle would be gone forever. I have to go." Takao took a deep breath and looked up to the sky. "For whatever gods may be up there in this world..thank you for taking care of us in our stay here..and our great time at Fortuna.." The hero looked around the field and saw Elle looking up and the stars. Her dress glistened in the night sky..the body glitter made her sparkle. She seemed oh so perfect. He walked up to her and placed his hand upon her shoulder slowly turning her around and pulling the Fae toward him. Without a second he placed his lips upon hers, holding a kiss, an almost perfect kiss that made his world feel indestructible.

Izaria was watching Elle get her award when she heard the words 'the chicken is ready'. What was that supposed to mean? Wait... the portal! She leapt up in excitement and speedily walked into the basement, her heart pounding in excitement. She could finally go home where she belonged. Though she enjoyed her stay here in the human world a bit, her nature as a warmonger would keep her from truly reaching success in this world. She simply belonged in Sofya and nothing could change that. She reached the basement and looked at the familiar letters on the floor. The slight glow that came from them cast an ethereal glow on everyone, making the shadows on their faces sharper. "I call first into the portal. I can't wait to rid myself of this body"

Feeling someone touch her shoulder Elle let herself be turned around to see Takao standing before her. He leaned in and kissed her softly, wrapping her arms around him Elle kissed him back. The moment was romantic and sweet and perfect. The night was cool but not cold and the stars were shining brightly, like a million little candles. When they both pulled back she smiled and blushed a little, "What was that for?" Elle tucked her hair between her ears a more serious look on her face, "Takao, I really hope that wasn't a farewell kiss? Are you coming to go back to Sofya with us?" Elle looked at the ground too worried that his answer was no to meet his eyes.

Takao smiled and produced a slight chuckle. "I'm not staying here, how could I project the one I love if I'm here on earth forever. Now come my princess, let's return to our homeland." The hero interlocked his fingers with hers and led her back inside of the school and down toward the basement. The world was quiet and this moment was just too exciting, to see if their plan would come through or not. But now..he didn't have to be alone.

Elle was so excited that she threw her arms around Takao. It was a second before the realization hit her. She pulled back from him, "Takao... you love me?" Her eyes were bright and she was smiling. "I love you too," she whispered taking his hand and following him back inside. Things were going to get confusing when they got back home. Elle hoped that Takao knew what he was talking about with this 'plan' to get out of her engagement. The pair made it down to the basement, "Is it time to go back home?" she asked excitedly.

Lucius turns toward the portal, taking a few steps toward it, knees buckling under him for a moment. His blood still drips from his wounds, and he takes a small turn, then bends down, picking up Theo's contraption in one hand. Closing his eyes, Lucius sees the energy in the walls, waiting to be released. He grins, then begins his spell.

بطل الضال،

ألف شيطان الملك وحيدا.

He pauses, noticing the sigil reaching out, looking for energy. Placing his finger on the switch, he moves it forward slightly, and the small spark prompts a flash from the sigil.

على حد سواء بعيدا عن وطنهم، وصوفيا

وبصرف النظر لكن معا،

نفسها ولكن مختلفة.

Suddenly, he flicks the switch. All of the microwaves turn on, and the school's power begins to flicker. The sigil begins to glow intensely.

أهدافهم مختلفة ولكن نفس،

تسمح لهم والذين وقع عليهم الاختيار

لاجتياز الوطن

من خلال هذا التمزق في الفضاء!

The bag of pig's blood rips open, and the contents spill out, spreading evenly across the sigil until a perfect circle of blood is there. Then the blood seems to get lower and lower, as the floor - as well as space itself - melts away where the sigil was. Sparks fly from the microwaves and the wiring in the walls, the power in the school under heavy stress. And then, suddenly, not only those in the basement, not only the Sofyans, but all those who know about the portal feel a tug. "Naturally, we can't go home to Sofya without bringing a few guests ... How about all of the humans who know about the portal? That should suffice." Wind flies from the portal as a blinding white light spills from it. Lucius looks back at the others, grinning.

"Sorry, Izaria, but seems like I'll be the first one in this portal!" He cackles as the light begins to envelop him, and he begins already to look like his usual self: horns begin to sprout, veins on his face begin to become prominent, and he slowly becomes taller. Swallowed by the portal's light, the last thing to be seen of him is his silhouette diving head-first into the portal...

The ground began to rumble and the lights flickered on and off as the microwave contraption was turned on. The students screamed in terror as electricity sparked in the lighting fixtures and the gym floor lit up in the shape of the magic circle. The circle flashed a lightning blue and the whirring sound of the microwaves echoed throughout the gymnasium.

It is time.

"What in tarnations is going on?!" The principal shrieked as he held onto his wig, which everyone knew was a wig. Hanging onto one of the more sturdier decorations, the principal bit his lips and shivered in fear.

Suddenly, everything went black. The students screamed, wondering what was going on. Then a gigantic blue portal appeared in an explosion, throwing all the students back. Ancient runes circled around the circle, tearing through the time and space continuum. You couldn't see through to the other side of the portal but the Sofyans knew that this was the magic circle that would bring them back to their homeland.

Before there could be any second thoughts, strings of blue light shot out of the portal and wrapped themselves around the characters' limbs, ridding them of gravity and pulling them all into the portal. And by all, the magic portal meant
all, both Sofyans and earthlings. After all, they were the chosen heroes that would save Sofya from the impending doom that was approaching quickly.

Colours and images of cats whipped around the characters as the portal sent them into a spiraling vision of the future. A war was coming to Sofya, a war that would be tenfold the war between the hero and the demon king. A great military force was approaching from the west and the characters were the only ones who knew about it.

New quest! Warn the monarchs about impending doom.

A warm breeze drifted about the new heroes, the magic portal had placed them on a soft grassy hill where one could see the great grasslands for miles into the distance. To the north was a small forest but the real eye catcher was the giant arrow pointing to the west. Perhaps it was the gods' way of telling the heroes to go west? But it could also be a trap.

"Eureka!" Lorelei exclaimed, beaming down at her restored bodacious figure. "Lorelei of the seven seas is back,
beach!"

Esther Bellerose

Alayna waltzed up to Esther, her black swan costume perfectly portraying all that Alayna was inside--unique, talented, and beautiful. Esther thanked her for the compliment on her own costume, saying,
"A lunatic from a bunny hole is no match for the star of Swan Lake, dude." The boy who'd bumped into Esther earlier began shouting, "The chicken is ready!", and she once again questioned the sanity of her school.

There's lead in the water, I swear.

Alayna took the odd phrase as some sort of code, linking arms with Esther and leading her down a staircase to the basement. Esther, completely confused, opened her mouth to protest, but simply couldn't find the words. "Uhm...erh...we...uh..." was all she could manage, earning herself a mental face palm. She was rendered absolutely speechless when she saw the microwaves. Ten stacks of small microwaves, with 10 microwaves in each stack stood in the shape of a decagon, around some symbol drawn out of...red paint? A bag of red liquid by her feet, reeking of some metallic smell, said otherwise.

So this is what they've been doing this whole time?

"I call first into the portal. I can't wait to rid myself of this body." Izaria said, looking to Lucius as he grabbed the bag of blood and ripped it open. The blood traveled to the middle of the decagon, creating a pool of gore atop the symbol. The pool began to lower, swallowing the ground within the 10-faced shape as well as Lucius in a flash of blinding blue light. Esther felt herself being drawn to the portal, but did nothing to resist its pull--she was too paralyzed with fear and confusion to even notice. Everyone who had gathered in the large basement of Fortuna Academy soon found themselves inside the portal--except the principal, who had darted back up the stairs the second the portal had begun to glow. Images of an impending war upon Sofya surrounded them, along with the occasional Grumpy Cat meme, as they spiraled through a seemingly endless abyss.

The darkness did come to an end, though; Esther's knees hit the ground first, its soft grass doing nothing to cushion her fall. She struggled to stand, her legs having taken most of the impact. When she'd finally regained footing, she examined her surroundings, almost falling over once again at the sight. No longer were they in the school's ruddy basement, surrounded by small microwaves and pig's blood. Rolling hills and a warm sun now took up the landscape, the grass and flowers around them swaying in the cool breeze.

It was beautiful.

But not where Esther was supposed to be.

"Let me get this straight," Esther said, dusting her dress off and picking her hat up off the ground. "You people dragged me away from the dance, and into a portal, yes?" Her voice was low and even, but laced with pure, absolute rage. Her home, her school, her dance; it had been ripped away from her in the blink of an eye. "A portal that led to your magical land of Sofya--a land worlds away from mine, right? And you assumed you could just bring me along for the ride, on the night that I'd been planning for months. Freaking months." The volume of her tone began to rise, the beauty of her surroundings doing nothing to calm her inner vexation.

"I thought I'd help you out when you came here. I thought, 'Hey, these guys just want to fit in. They're new. I'll lend them a hand.' I gave you a tour. I took you shopping. I dealt with the shit you guys went on about." Esther spat, remembering the scene Lucius had caused in the gymnasium the transfers' first day here, and the stressful trip to the mall. "And this is what I get."

Never in her life time had Esther felt so much pure, unadulterated fury. The Sofyans had pulled too many of her strings, completely blowing away the happy, helpful disposition she'd been able to maintain ever since her mother's passing. The screams of anger in her mind soon became too much for her to handle, so after sending Lucius a dirty look, she stalked off to a nearby hill. Esther needed to sort through her thoughts, and she needed to do it alone.

Warning, alot of swearing and angry ranting from a teen with pigtails in this post.

Alayna stood there stunned, listening to what Lucius suggested. Why would he drag humans through a Portal! Who does that! But, to her horror, she was dragged through the portal.

She felt something weird, it felt warm then she felt a sharp pain in her head but after that everything felt normal. At least, as normal as it could feel... She sat up, suddenly The dancer couldn't tell where she was and frankly she was to disoriented to care, "What the hell?" She said quietly, looking at her feet there were no pointe shoes instead there were brown shoes that wrapped tightly around her feet. Then she looked at her legs, which now bore leather pants, and she had some sort of weird blue material shirt.

With huge eyes she looked up at her companions, "What the hell?!" This time a little more frantic. The teen nervously ran her hand through her hair but stopped quickly when she felt her ears. They were normal except for the sharp point gracing her head, "Shit! What the hell is this!" She said jumping to her feet so she could find Lucius. Of course she could't exactly tell who everyone was, but from what she was told of Lucius's form pin pointed him and stormed over, "What the hell are these!" She yelled, promptly pointing at her ears. She wanted to scream, then run. Just run, nowhere in particular she just wanted to run and with the heat of her temper she felt like -quite literally- setting stuff on fire. She could hear someone else raging too.

"Who the heck drags a freaking human! A Human! To Sofya! What the hell got in to your freaking head!" She yelled. Again she got that urge to set something on fire, which caused her face to take a look of confusion, but went back to her yelling "You know I wouldn't have minded if you got my freaking consent! You know a 'Hey Alayna, were gonna drag you through a portal to Sofya, you okay with that?' Would have sufficed but, No! You couldn't at least have the common curtesy to do that!" She yelled, knowing that Lucius probably found her rant hilarious. Then she got back to her ears, "Make them round! I don't want pointy ears! I want my damn point shoes so I can kick in the crotch you stupid demon dork!"

She had never been so angry and she had a feeling if Esther heard her screams she would have a heart attack, "And why the hell do I want to set you on fire!" She yelled again, then stopped abruptly, Wasn't I warned not to yell at him? She knew she wasn't but at the moment every atom of her being wanted to slap him across the face.

Takao Kieran: Hero of Sofya

Takao was taken back by the amount of power that had been brought about by these microwaves and Lucius. The portal appeared and sucked them all in, the earthlings too..this wasn't going to be good. Then all of the sudden, they were there. Sofya. Takao looked down at his hands, one was covered in muscle and emitted a white aura. His god hand has returned. Then..the armor was real. He missed the feeling of his scarf and black top. His greaves on his feet..The sheathed up sword on his side. It was all perfect once again.

Takao arose from the ground and looked down to his companions..and the humans. Oh boy. Takao spoke in a deeper voice, filled with leadership and purity.
"Well my earth friends..this. This is Sofya. Welcome." The hero reached out his hand for his brand new love Ellowyn to help her rise to her feet.

Demon King Lucius Virgil Rugia

Lucius's veins slowly become a bit more prominent than is normal in humans, and an odd, evil-looking glow spreads through them. He stands, taller than both of the two girls throwing hissy-fits. Opening his eyes, he allows the Earthlings to watch as his blue eyes slowly melt away into a blood red color. Then, he smirks, feeling one of his horns for a second.
"You all seemed quite bored with Earth, so I made a last minute decision. I don't care what your opinion is, to be honest." Lucius ties his black hair back into its normal ponytail with a strip of leather. He then exhales deeply through his nose, pushing out his aura: it emits an awful feeling, spreading swirling emotions of pain, fear, suffering, agony, and despair.

And thus he approaches Alayna slowly, his aura concentrated around her. His eyes brighten to a more intense red. Reaching down, Lucius draws a dagger. He examines it, then shows it to Alayna.
"Make your ears round? I believe my dagger can do that quite quickly, wouldn't you say? What do you think about stabbing my foot with your pointe shoes now, hmm?" He shoves the dagger back into its sheath. "How do you like my atmosphere, by the way? Do the negative feelings hurt you? Do they drive their very being directly into your skull?" His eyes dart toward Esther, and he wraps her in his aura as well. "How about you, hmm? It's one of the many advantages of being a human with Demonblood." Releasing his aura from around them, it snaps back to surround Lucius. "I find it quite comforting, although I suppose you humans could never understand. Unless you would like me to inject some Demonblood into you...? No, you Earthlings are all so frail. You'd die." He turns around, walking a short distance away. "Now, I suggest all of you craven fools go inspect that war camp with Sofya's banner flying over it, hmm?" He points in the direction of a camp which, indeed, has the flag of Sofya flying over it.

Alayna glanced over his appearence not at all fazed, he looked like something out of a horror movie, which ment she didn't find it very scary. She then scoffed when he suggested carving her ears, I swear, I'll kill him! She thought, yelping suddenly as his Aura surrounded her, she felt like she was being stabbed by despair and pain every inch of her body, it was absolute agony. but then he did it to Esther and something just clicked, He is hurting my friend. That had her pushing those awful feelings away in seconds, she barely acknowledged that they were there, "You can do that to me all you want, but don't touch Esther." she said quietly before the aura snapped back to him.

Then she listened to him talk about demon blood and how they were just frail humans. He was just, she couldn't describe how much she hated him in that moment, so she kept her composure, turned and walked away but not before looking over her shoulder, "Since when do humans have pointy ears?" she asked with a glare then walked off.

Once she was out of human view -she wasn't sure how far Sofyan view went- she started running towards the war camp. Not out of fear, she just wanted to run. Once she got down there, she looked around, it looked so... Medieval. There were people everywhere, black, white and red tents pitched and people -and creatures- of all shapes and sizes walking around. The place was buzzing with activity.

Alayna looked around, staring when she saw someone bright blue with dark blue tiger spikes lining his arms. Well that's different.... She thought, whatever he was, was probably in some sort of fairy tail. She stopped abruptly when the a foul smell hit her. The teen went towards it, -even though her nose begged for mercy, and peeked inside a tent. It looked like the war camps makeshift hospital. She choked down what she saw, it looked brutal. Cuts, bruises, infections, quite a few other things she couldn't classify.

She slowly stepped back, out of the tent and swallowed, then slowly stalked off to a different part of the camp.

Takao scoffed at Lucius's foul attempts to scare the humans..excuse me 'Humans'. "Lucius, leave them be, they took care of us in their world, no we should at least try to do the same. Or you can just go back to your life of misery and agony after becoming close to defeat for many months. That works too. Maybe I should just go ahead and bury you now.." Takao, with his god hand, reached for the handle of his sword, palming the pommel of the mighty weapon. Sparks flew as he touched the sword once more and energy coursing through its hilt and blade from his god like abilities. "I've been itching to lash this sword through your throat.." It was not the time for Takao to be doing any of this..he couldn't take it anymore..

"Wow! Amazing!" Theo exclaimed in wonder as the magic circle opened in the middle of the gymnasium. All of his hard work had paid off for this very moment, where they would be sending the mystical aliens back to their galaxy. Alas, not all things went according to plan. When the weird light tentacles shot out of the portal and dragged everyone inside, Theo didn't know what else to do other than scream bloody murder.

Cats, cats everywhere. Theo hoped that he would be able to get a nice shower in before he came back to earth since his mother wasn't very fond of the furry creatures. But as Theo and the others spiraled around in the seemingly never ending space tunnel, Theo couldn't help but admire his (and Lucius') work in awe and a hint of smugness. He was the first man to successfully attempt dimensional travel. Sure, it wasn't on purpose but Theo liked to think on the bright side.

The aliens would have more advanced technology to send them back, wouldn't they? Well, that's what Theo thought until he, and all of the others, witnessed the glimpse into Sofya's future. It was war-ridden and the lands would be tainted by blood by the impending doom. The hero complex deep inside Theo was struck and he felt the need to help them. After all, Theo wasn't the type of guy to leave people in need.

Then again, when Theo had landed in Sofya, it seemed as if he was the person in need. Completely alone in the woods, Theo frowned as he rubbed his eyes and looked around. "Hey, guys? Where are all of you?" Theo called out, using his hands as a projector. Unfortunately for Theo, that was the wrong move.

"Aaaaaaaaah!" Theo screamed, causing the birds of the forest to flee into the air. A net was cast over him and he was dragged across the forest floor by vicious looking bandits. Well, fate sure did have a surprising way of messing with him.

Lucius turns to face Takao, a pained expression on his face. "I know you wouldn't kill me right here without a fight ... So do not tease me ... please." His face becomes harder, more like a scowl than a hurt frown. "I have too much to worry about without dealing with children like you. Not only is there an impending war ... Were you not paying attention when we went through the portal? Those ships ... They had Gralde banners flying over them." Then he looks away, seeming to glance at Izaria for a moment before looking back at Takao. "Among other things." Like cancelling my engagement to Vasalir, leaving Rugia, and taking my army with me.

Lucius walks away from Takao, approaching Izaria and speaking to her quietly.
"Izaria. I'll need you and Greysen to prepare the soldiers in the camp in the opposite direction as Sofya's camp to break all ties with Rugia. I'll explain later, but basically I'm not being held down by the Rugias any longer." He turns and walks back toward Takao. "Now, if you want to kill me, do so."

The Violet Dancer

@Nikolajsen , however anybody right now can hear the whistle.

Parin was enjoying his stroll through the woods. It was nice and calm, and gave him a moment to think calmly before this battle that was going to occur between the Sofyans and Rugians ... a more active war which began several weeks ago when the Heroes and the Demon Generals disappeared. He was enjoying his walk, until he heard a shout. Parin frowns. No matter where I go, the people and their safety are the priority.

Parin rushes through the forest, light on his feet, until he hears people. Peeking out from behind a tree, he sees a few bandits dragging along a knocked out figure in a net. He crouches down, then leaps out, rushing toward the bandits. One turns around, about to say something, but Parin twirls around, sending a kick to his jaw and then another to his ribs in one fluid motion. Grabbing the bandit's head, he pulls it downward and sends a chop toward his temple, knocking him out.
Three more bandits to incapacitate, he thinks as they turn toward him, alerted to his presence.

So he decides to use his last chance. This could do one of two things: attract bandits or attract help. Or it could just annoy the bandits or give them headaches. Either way, he rips a carved whistle from a string on his belt and puts it to his lips, blowing into it as hard as he can.
Whoever hears this ... I'm hoping will come to my aid.
